Carl is in a clubhouse sitting by himself and also drinking all by himself. He normally goes to this bar with Sam but he chose to go alone today and he has done nothing else than drink and watch others merry in excitement.

“Hey handsome.”
He raised his head to see an average height lady with a short blonde hair standing in front of him holding a gl@ss of alcohol. She’s wearing a mini Sk-irt and a crop t©p and Carl can see her bøøbs pointing at him. He smile and sip from his cup.

“Do you mind for a company?” She ask him s£dûçt!velyand he replied by nodding his head. She c@m£ to sit very close to him and she place her hand on his th!ghs and he smile again.

This is another FISH!

“Am Anita. What’s your name?” She ask him and he turn his face to her.

“Am a Badboy. That’s all you need to know.” He said looking into her eyes.

“Ohhhhh. I love badboys.” She said l!çk!ng the bottom of herl-ips and Carl move his face closer to hers.

“Really?” He asked her slowly and then k!$$£d herl-ips softly and re-move his mouth.

He held her hand.

“I’m sorry but I made this clear. It’s just a one night stand. No strings attached.” He said and left the room taking along his jacket.
Anita chuckled.

“I don’t mind having thousand of stands with you.” She said and falls to the be-d in excitement.

Valerie submitted her details to Elite Co and she had been waiting for almost a day. She wants this to begin immediately because she wants to show Ralph that she too can be happy and can be loved, even if she’s going to fake it but she’ll make him come running to her. She smiled and open the pictures revea-ling h0ttie guys with S-xy b©dy. They all look amazing and tempting. She’s sure that if Ralph happens to see her with any of these guys, he’s going to get jealous and he won’t have any other choice than to come back to her. But then she needs to make a choice, she need to choose just one guy but who will that be?

“Oh…. It’s really h@rd to choose.” She said b!tt!g her nails. She decided to pick at random so she closed her eyes and was using her f!ngersto trace on the ph0tos on the screen of her l@pt©p and then she st©ps at one. Opening her eyes she smiled.

Ms. Laurel can be seen pacing round her office, she has made her biggest mistake. She normally edit Carl’s ph0to out of the pictures she’s s£nding to clients but she didn’t know what happened to her today, she just copied and past them. Although she’s very tired from all the working and attending to clients, if only she has an @ssistant and she’s not re-ady to unbench Carl yet. She just has to pray that the client doesn’t choose Carl.

A message c@m£ in and she went to check it. It’s a reply from the client and as she opened it what she saw shocked her.

Ms. Laurel can be seen pacing round her office confused on what to do.
She didn’t know why she was this careless to not have pay attention to the ph0tos she was gonna s£nd, its as if she alre-ady knew he’ll be the pick of them all.
Okay, what is she gonna do now?
When contemplating on what to do next, the landline start to ring. She sloghisly went to answer it.

☎This is Elite Co, how can we be of service to you?
She said not minding who was on the line cause the stupid mistake she made really hurt her. She’s not re-ady to let him go back to the field.

☎Hi, this is still Valerie. I’ve been waiting for your reply since I picked a ph0to or you haven’t received it!?
She said at the other end and Ms. Laurel exhale to calm her nerves.

☎Right. About that, ma’am this person you chose isn’t available right now.

☎Oh, where is he?
She asked.

☎Erm, he’s arrrrrr. He’s alre-ady with a client. He’s alre-ady occupied.
She said and there was silence for some while as Ms. Laurel thought maybe she’ll choose someone else.
☎I’ll permit second pick ma’am. It’s okay.

☎️ Can’t you terminate that? I’ll pay you double of the amount. I seriously want this guy. The job I want him to do for me is very crucial.

☎️Am sorry ma’am but that won’t be possible. We don’t terminate contract here. Am sorry.

☎️ Alright. I’ll have to cancel my proposal then.

☎️Oh no wait!
Ms. Laurel has been caught on the n£¢k and there’s nothing she can do about it.

☎️Okay ma’am. Double payment and he’ll be at your doorstep tomorrow morning.
Ms. Laurel said.

And the conversation ended.

“What the hell!” Ms. Laurel sigh and rest her back on the backrest of the chair she’s sitting on.
She isn’t re-ady to s£nd Carl to the field and now that she has promised this lady, she’ll have to do it but she has to hold Carl on the n£¢k too. She can’t allow thesame thing that happened before repeat itself.

She thought of what to hold Carl with and just immediately she knew what to do she put a phonecall throu-gh Carl who answered the call immediately it rang, it was as though he was waiting for the phonecall.

📱Were you actually waiting for me to call you?
She asked him.

Carl who just c@m£ out from the shower place his hand on his w@!st.

📱Not really. I was about ma-king a phone call when your call c@m£ in.
He replied and sat on the be-d then he took his lotion and kept it by his side on the be-d.

📱 Anyway, I need you in my office right now.
And she ended the call.

Carl stare at the phone for some seconds wondering why she would call him into her office. Ever since she benched him, she hasn’t called him into her office since she doesn’t have any business with him except if there’s an instruction she wants to p@ss across to the wh0le bad boys. Well, he just hopes everything is alright.
After dressing up, he went into her office and she was just sitting down.

“Ms. Laurel, you s£nt for me.” He said then he put a gum in his mouth and start chewing and drew out a seat for himself and sat down. Crossed his legs.
“So, what’s this about?” He asked her and she sits up looking at him.

“I have decided to unbench you Carl.” She began and he gave her a shocking look.
“Yeah I know I said you’re not getting back anytime soon but I didn’t have a choice so get re-ady cause am s£nding you to a Valerie Brooke tomorrow to begin your job.” She said while Carl was just looking at her. He didn’t even know when to start talking.
“Carl!” She called and he raised his eyebrows.
“Are you even listening to what am saying?! I said you got your job.”

“I heard you the first time. I’m just surprised that’s all.”

“You shouldn’t be cause she insisted it must be you. I wonder why. Anyway there are rules and you have to abide by them so we won’t have any problems.” She said and he scoff.

“Really now? So because you’re afraid that this one too might not let me go?! Look, I don’t fv¢king care about these clients as long as I get to do my job. Once I was done I leave but they won’t want to leave me.”

Ms. Laurel sigh and pu-ll out her drawer and brou-ght out a pamphlet.
“That is why there are rules to follow to avoid them catching feelings.” She said and stretch it to him, he stare at her hand for some seconds before collecting it.
“I am very certain that with this rules here nob©dy will tend to fall in love with you and if they do you have yourself to be blame again and I won’t have any other choice but to dismiss you.” She said and he gave her a shocking look.

“You’ll do that to me?”

“I have to do everything to protect this company even if it means letting you go. She signed for 3months and it mustn’t exceed that. Everyother details will be s£nt to your email before today runs out. You can leave.”

He stood up from the chair he was sitting and stare at her for some seconds before walking out.

“I think she’s just bluffing ” Sam said to Carl when he told him about what Ms. Laurel intend to do to him if another client falls inlove with him.

“I don’t think so. The look on her face shows that she’s serious and meant business. What if I just decline? Afterall am doing just fine benched.” He said.

“You do no such thing. We’ve been waiting for this opportunity for 6months and now that you’ve gotten it you’ll throw it away because of some stupid threat? Yes, I call it a threat because I don’t think she will be able to lose you. You said she gave you some rules right?” Sam asked him and he hand him the pamphlet he had collected from her. Sam re-ad throu-gh it and smile.
“These are simple rules to obey Carl. I don’t think you’ll have problem with any of these. They’re just five and I know you’ll do just fine.” Sam said and Carl nod his head.

Valerie is cooking and at the same time humming a song and she seems lively for some while now and Margaret had been noticing that.

“This is new.” Margaret said as she got close to her.
“What has been ma-king you this happy?” She asked her.

“Should there be a reason?” Valerie ask her and continue with what she was doing.

“Not really but you know, with what had happened to you it’s weird.” Margaret said and Valerie st©pped what she was doing and turn to her, resting her back on the kitchen counter.

“I am happy because I wanted to be.” Valerie said and went back to what she was doing.

“Okay…. If you say so.” Margaret said and was about going back to the living room when Ava c@m£ in looking restless.

“Valerie, you seriously will not believe who I c@m£ encounter with on my way here.” Ava said calling everyone’s attention to her.

“Who?” Valerie ask and Ava walk closer to her.

“Your stepmom,Sofia.”
On the mentioning of that name the spoon Valerie was holding falls down to the ground and Margaret opened her mouth wi-de in shock.
