Sandra is in the cafeteria trying to eat in peace but the whispers of other students couldn’t let her.
They were saying nas-ty things about her that she had to lower her head so she won’t have any sort of eye contact with any one of them.

It’s as if she has fast earring cause everything they were saying was very clear to her or maybe they just ain’t scared of her.

“Are you having lunch or you’re hiding from faces?” Alex ask her and she slowly raised her head look behind her and turn back to her normal position.

” I don’t know why they’re all seeing me as a bad person. What did I ever do to them?!” She asked and Alex sits next to her and raised her head up.

“Listen to me Sandra, you need to stand up for yourself. You cant keep on hiding because you don’t want any trouble. Sometimes, Fighting back help bring peace.” He said.

Sandra had to ponder over what he said.

” I don’t really think you telling Anita that you’re hired is the right thing to do.”Sam said and I reply with a smile.
I really do not care about what she thinks or what she’ll do. I just want to put everyone in their place and if not cause she has a juicy pu-ssy, I would have gotten rid of her but she has her way of ma-king me want her even more.

“What if she tells Ralph about Valerie’s plan? You know things will get ruined and she won’t be able to get him back. That won’t be fair.” He said again. There is this strange feeling I had when he made mention of that guy’s name. Believe it or not it’s the first time I’m having the feeling and I can’t explain it. Let’s just say my mind skipped.

“I wish he’s also inlove with her but he wasn’t. I’ve had so many encounters with him and he never showed any atone of concern or anything. I think he’s not into her.” I said

“If you’re so sure why don’t you tell her that alre-ady?”
I chuckled when he asked me that. Like, how should that be my business? Afterall, this job entails you to always lie. You have to lie about having feelings for them, lie about everything and if there’s any truth you find out about them, you just keep it to yourself and never say a word cause the truth is that you don’t care about them or their feelings.

As I was about resting my head Sam c@m£ back to the room saying that Ms. Laurel is calling for a meeting together with the SWEET ANGELS.
I was shocked cause we’ve never had a combined meeting before.
I wore my P@nts and a jacket to keep me warm as I went to join the rest and there are beautiful and new faces.

“What is so important that she call us all here?” I ask Sam who seem not to know. What then is the purpose for coming here?
I should be resting for crying out loud.

“I call you all out here because there is a very important information you need to know. Due to some things we’re facing in the org-nization I want to say that the SWEET ANGELS will move in with us. I want everyone un-der thesame roof.” Ms. Laurel said and I roll my eyes.

“There will be lots of free food.” Sam said and win-ked at me.
‘Free Food’ indeed.
As I was trying to pay attention to the next thing Ms. Laurel will say, I sighted Anita standing together with the SWEET ANGELS.
This girl just won’t st©p bugging me.
I like girls but I hate it when they’re bugging me.
What the hell is she even doing here.

“Pay attention I’ll be right back.” I tap Sam on the shoulder and walk towards them and when she saw me she made a face that I cared less about.
“I need to talk to you ”

“Cover up for me I’ll be back.” She told one of her friends and followed me to a corner.

This explains it all.
Anita is working with Elite Co and that was how she found her way in and out of this place.
She knew the code and while I thought she was breaking the code, I didn’t know the code wasn’t applied to her.

“So, you’re p@rt of us.” I said with a little bit of anger in me. Why am I even angry you might ask?

“I wanted to tell you but…”

“But what?!” I find myself yelling when I shouldn’t have. It’s really upsetting.
“Is Ralph your client?” I need to know if we’re actually playing thesame game here.

“No he’s not. Ralph is just is just that guy that I hang around with. I don’t have any feelings for him and we’re not in a relationsh!p.”

“What?!” It’s really shocking.
“So you mean to tell me that you and Ralph ain’t d@t!ng? Did he know that?” I ask her.
We have different kind of deceit in our line of work.
First, pretending to be couples when in the real s-en-se we’re just fooling around or helping the other person move on from a heartbreak.

Second, in the name of s3x, we pretend to be someone’s lover not because we’re starved of it but because the person just knows how to do it better.

I’ve done both.

“Everything started when I told him that I don’t like seeing him with your client. He took it too seriously and I thought that the day she caught us together he was going to beg her to come back to him only for him to tell me that he has broken up with her.” She narrated and I felt like hitting her head against the wall.

“Damm you Anita! You just ruin two lovers because of your selfish desire! Why on earth will you do a thing like that?!” I’m so furious right now. I mean why will she even do that when she doesn’t even love the guy to begin with.

“I’m only with him because of s3x okay. Its not my business if he doesn’t love your client back.” She said without remorse.
I know we’re players and we shouldn’t care about other people’s feelings but I honestly don’t think coming in between two lovers is best.
It’s against the code.

“Do you know that you’re going against the playbook?” I reminded her but her expression shows that she doesn’t even abide by the playbook.
She stare at me for like 5seconds before taking a step closer looking into my eyes.

“The playbook isn’t valid if you haven’t create yours. Look around you Carl, we all have our playbook.” She k!$$£d myl-ips and walk away shaking her wonderful a$$.

What is she saying?
Is she trying to say that nob©dy in this building is doing what the playbook says?
Am I the only one left out?!
Is this what Sam has been trying to tell me?!

Maybe it’s time I st©p playing by the playbook!
