Episode Nineteen
“So what do you want me to do?”I asked
“All you have to do is to tell Lora and take her to where Jayden is”Mom said
Do I have to do this?Am I not selfish? Should I continue?Lora sees me as a friend not as an enemy
“Are you there?”Mom’s voice jolted me out of my deep thought
“Yes”I replied, nodding my head as if Mom can see me
“Okay, Jayden is in room 206 in star hotel”Mom said
“I will be there right now”I said
“Bring Lora along”Mom said and hung up.I put the phone in,side my back pocket and entered the restaurant back to See Lora eating already
“Hey,You are really hungry?”I asked, sitting down back
“Yes,”She said while drinking her coffee and I drank my coffee
“Are you okay?Is anything the matter?”She asked, putting her hands on my face and stared into my eyes worriedly
“I’m fine.I don’t have an appetite anymore”I lied and faked a smile,removing her hands from my face.
“We need to go somewhere right now”I said and stood up, pulling her up
“Where?”She asked,using the back of her hands to clean her mouth
“Hey,Waiter!”I called the waiter that brought our food trying to let Lora forget about her questions on where we’re going.
I took money out of my wallet and gave the waiter.
We walked out of the restaurant
A cab was driving towards us and I stopped the driver
“Star Hotel”I said, hopping in,side, gesturing Lora to hop in too.
Few minutes later,we reached our destination and went in
“Room 206″I said to the receptionist who looked at me as if I’ve grown wings.
“Sorry about my manners, I’m a business partner to the couple in room 206″I lied and smiled showing her my white teeth while she smiled back at me
“Okay, you can go, it’s at the left hand side”She said
“Thanks”I said,holding Lora’s hands, walking towards the room.
I Opened the door and entered the room.
We saw Jayden and a Lady making out
“Oh,No!It can’t be”Lora scre-med, jumping on the bed,hitting Jayden while I tried to separate them.

“Room 206″I said to the receptionist who looked at me as if I’ve grown wings.
“Sorry about my manners, I’m a business partner to the couple in room 206″I lied and smiled showing her my white teeth while she smiled back at me
“Okay, you can go, it’s at the left hand side”She said
“Thanks”I said,holding Lora’s hands, walking towards the room.

We saw Jayden and a Lady making out on the bed, breathing heavily.
“Oh,No!It can’t be”Lora scre-med, jumping on the bed,hitting Jayden while I tried to separate them.
“What do you want?Why are you cheating on me?I love you so much,is this what you gonna repay me with?”Lora said crying profusely which brought tears to my eyes
“Stop crying”I said , trying to pet her
“No,allow me to deal with this betrayal”She said with tears rolling down her cheeks, hitting Jayden again who just sat on the bed staring at her without saying anything.
The sound of the ringtone of Lora’s phone stopped her from biting Jayden ears.
“Hello, who’s this”Lora asked sniffing
“What?My child? Stanford Hospital? I’m dead”She shouted and bursted into tears again, putting her hands on her head, sitting on the floor.
“What happened”Jayden and I asked her at the same time
“It’s…..erm…. it’s…. it’s”She stammered while crying

Semi final
“It’s……..erm…. it’s…. it’s…..”She stammered while crying profusely.
“It’s what?”I asked, putting my hands on her shoulder.
“It’s my son, Michael, he’s in Standford hospital”She said, rolling on the floor
“Michael?Our Michael?”Jayden asked, pulling Lora up, walking out of the room while I followed behind.
“Let go of me,you son of a bitch”Lora fired at him, hitting Jayden’s chest.
We trekked to the hospital and went in.
“Hello, we’re here for one of the patient here”I said to the nurse who were busy writing something
“Name please?”The nurse asked,her eyes still glued on what she’s writing
“Mendes Michael”Lora answered.
“Ohh,that young boy, he’s in ward 12″She said sadly
“Thanks”we thanked her, walking in,side the Ward.We saw the doctor in charge taking care of Michael
“Doctor,what happened to my son?”Lora asked, walking towards the doctor
“Calm down ma’am,we need to talk please”The doctor said,gesturing us to come outside and we did.
We went to the Doctor’s office
“Please,sit down”The doctor said, sitting down and we did
“Who’s the parent of the young child?”The doctor said while I pointed at Lora and Jayden.
“You guys haven’t been taking care of the child very well.Sorry to say this we’ve lost your son”The doctor said calmly
“Come again, Doctor”Jayden said, sitting very well.
“You’ve lost who?My son?”Lora asked in shock, standing up.
“Your son ma’am,he was poisoned”The doctor said.
“Poisoned?How?”Lora and Jayden asked at the same time.
“By the food he was given.I’m sorry about the loss”The doctor said sadly.
“Noooooooooo!!it can’t be”Lora said with tears rolling down her cheeks and grabbed the doctor trying to strangle him while we tried to stop her and we later succeeded in separating her and the doctor
I dragged her out of the doctor’s office, heading to Michael’s ward

They’ve covered his body with a white clothe.Lora sat on the bed, hugging Michael dead body tightly crying silently

“I hate you!I regretted ever saying “YES” to you”Lora said,tears rolling down her cheeks dropping on Michael dead body while Jayden’s expression was blank,no sign of emotions
Jayden’s phone rang and he picked it.
“Hello,Mr Mendes is on the line”He said
“What?My company?Sue me to court?Why?I don’t think I remember
signing any doc-ments”He said and hung up, ruffling his hair while staring into space
“What’s the matter?”I broke the silence,staring at him.
