Arthur’s Pov:

I arched my eye brows in surprise.

What the hell is father talking about?

Why would he say never to my new relationship with Aliyah?

I looked at Aliyah who was tensed up but I patted her back and signalled her to calm down.

“What are you saying dad?” I asked breaking the silence.

“What else do you want to hear Arthur? I just said you can’t have anything to do with this girl” Dad repeated staring hard at Aliyah who tears circulated in her eyes.

“Dad?” I freaked out.

“Son you should understand your father…. He must have his reasons for whatever action he takes…. Besides I thought that you and Natasha are together?” Mom became confused.

“That is not the case here mom…. What reason does dad have to stop me from having anything to do with her?” I flared up.

“Arthur for the fact that she is a Dela Cruz,,,, I forbid you from having anything to do with the Dela Cruz’s” Dad said as I furrowed my eyebrows.

“The Dela Cruz’s?” Aliyah mumbled.

“Huh? What did the Dela Cruz’s do dad?” I asked.

“We can’t have anything to do with them and that is final as a matter of fact Miss Dela Cruz I want you out of my house this instant” Dad shouted at Aliyah who became startled.

” Am sorry sir” Aliyah cried as she quickly stood up and turned to leave but I held her wrist.

“No dad…. I don’t care what you have against the Dela Cruz’s or what they have against you,,,, but I won’t let whatever enmity between you guys destroy our relationship” I said boldly as my mom stared at me in shock.

Maybe because I don’t talk back at my dad.

But no this time I have to stand up for my Aliyah and for my unborn child.

“No Arthur! Please I don’t want to create a rift between you and your family…. That’s the last thing I want” Aliyah cried.

“Say no more Aliyah…. Nothing and no one will come between us” I snapped.

“You will dare disobey me Arthur?” Dad widened his eyes.

“Yes Dad…. I do whatever it is that you want and however you want it dad but this time am sorry to disappoint you but there is no freaking way I will do as you say” I replied.

“Arthur? Shut up! You have no right to talk to your father in such a tone just because of this…” Mom pointed at Aliyah.

“I won’t have you insult her mom” I shouted back to my parent’s surprise.

“Now you get out of my house” mom yelled Aliyah who was already scared but I held her hand.

“She’s PREGNANT” I said as everyone gasped.

“WHAT?” Mom and dad shouted.

“You heard me mom and dad” I repeated.

“I don’t care….. She should get rid of that thing” Dad said as I flinched.

Aliyah freed her wrist from my grip and ran off in tears.

“Dad? Are you that inhumane?” I yelled as he landed a slap on my cheeks.

“Shut up Arthur” Dad screamed at me.

“Why dad? Why should I shut up? You are telling me to get rid of my child and you expect me to shut up?” I screamed out.

“I don’t care how you feel Arthur but you won’t dare go against me… And if you dare try to go ahead Arthur then consider yourself disowned by me” Dad said as I scoffed.

“Liam???” Mom screamed at dad.

“I don’t care what you guys think but both of you cannot stop me from being with Aliyah and there is no freaking way am getting rid of my child and yes you are so free to disown me but I will never disown my child like you” I said as I glared hard at them before rushing after Aliyah.

Mrs Rodriguez’s Pov:

I watched Arthur run out of the house as I took a sharp exhale.

I managed to sit heavily on the couch while my husband paced around the room.

“Sweetheart I think you really went too far” I broke the silence.

“Far how? What do you mean far?” He shouted.

“Why would you tell him to get rid of the child? Your grandchild? Your flesh and blood?” I snapped.

“Tch…. Because you don’t understand I don’t want to have anything to do with descendants of Gregory Dela Cruz” He said bitterly.

“What the hell happened between the Dela Cruz’s and you?” I asked.

“That family and my family will never have anything to do with each other…. Enemy we are,,,, enemy we will continue to be” He said with finality in the tone of his voice.

“What really happened?” I asked as he shook his head.

“That Gregory is a damn bastard! I don’t want to talk about it but listen up woman you better go talk to that son of yours before he does something he will regret” Liam said as he walked away in anger.

I breathed heavily as I scratched my head.

Of all the people why the enemy???

Aliyah’s Pov:

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me out of the mansion.

Life is so unfair to me and I don’t understand why.

Just when I thought everything is getting better now this?

I thought I wasn’t going to be humiliated by my dad like he used to since Arthur was ready to own up to his responsibility.

Now his parents doesn’t love me.

I can’t believe our families are enemies so what now will happen to my baby?

My cell phone rang aloud and I picked it up.

It was Pearl.

“Hey girl… Have you met his parents? What are they like?” She asked anxiously.

“They hate me so much Pearl” I burst into tears.

“What?” Pearl gasped.

“I’ll talk to you later” I said as I hung up.

Then I heard my name from behind and turned around, it was Arthur.

He rushed to me and hugged me tightly.

“Arthur this isn’t going to work anymore” I cried.

“Who said so Aliyah? I don’t care what they think but I will never leave you” He said as I cried in his arms.

“But…..” I tried to speak.

“No buts….. I’ll go see your father tomorrow” He said as I nodded while he wiped off my tears.

“Hell no… I won’t have anything to do with the Rodriguez’s” My dad screamed to the astonishment of all of us.

“But daddy am pregnant for….” I tried to speak.

“I don’t care Aliyah…. I don’t even want to set my eyes on you ever again… Get out of my house with that contaminated blood in your womb” Dad shouted as mom rushed to me.

“But Sir I sincerely love and want your daughter to….” Arthur said.

“Shut up….. Get out of my house and you Aliyah get out as well,,, from today you cease being my daughter and being a Dela Cruz” Dad screamed…….

Aliyah’s Pov:

The maids brought out my luggage and bags out of the house as mom wailed uncontrollably.

In my next world,,,, I will never ever have a father like Gregory Dela Cruz.

Tears streamed down my face.

“Leave my house Aliyah and never come back you are a shame and disgrace to the family” Dad said as he turned to leave but mom held his hand.

“Greg please don’t do this to my daughter….. Please I can’t survive this” Mom pleaded with him.

“There is nothing that can stop me from what I want to do…my decision is final,,,, From today henceforth Aliyah is cease to be a Dela Cruz” Dad repeated as he stormed away.

“Aliyah baby please don’t go…. I’ll talk to your father” Mom rushed to me as I wiped my face.

“No mom! I’d rather go away than live with that monster you called my dad and don’t worry about me cos I will fine mom” I cried out.

“Don’t worry ma’am…. I’ll take care of her and the baby” Arthur assured my mom as we left the mansion.

Mom and I wailed as we parted ways.

You know sometimes I wonder why Minister Gregory Dela Cruz happened to be my Father.

He’s the worst father in the world if am not mistaking.

Arthur and I got into the car and zoomed off.

My dad and Arthur’s Dad are enemies because they are rivals when it comes to politics so what?

Why should we suffer because of their selfishness?

Arthur drove me back to the guest house where I have been before.

“What do we do next Arthur?” I asked as we ate in the dinning.

“I will have to go back to my family’s house so that I can get my luggage ready” He said as I spooned the macaroni into my mouth.

“Ready? Are you living your family too?” I asked anxiously.

“Yes… We are both going to elope by tomorrow and I won’t let my family know about this” He replied.

“Thank you so much Arthur” I cried out.

“Thank you? But for what? Why are you thanking me?” he asked.

“Because you stood by me just when everyone forsake me” I burst into tears as he hugged me tightly and wiped my tears off.

“Am willing to do anything for you Aliyah….” He pecked my cheek.

“I know you are doing this because you feel sorry for me and am so sorry for the stress so once I give birth to this child,,,, I will let you live your life” I sniffed hard as he scoffed.

“Sorry? I don’t feel sorry for you Aliyah… Am doing this because I love you” He said as I gasped.

“What?” I asked with a shaky voice.

“You heard me…. I love you so much Aliyah from the day we had something together,,,, I couldn’t get you off my mind” He confessed.

“I ….i…. Love you too” I stammered.

Smiles escape his lips making him handsome the more.

“We will elope and then together we will build our world” He said as he patted my hair.

I don’t know what I would have done without Arthur.

Natasha’s Pov:

I burst into tears as I stormed into my room and slammed the door noisily.

How could Arthur do that to me?

He got the girl pregnant already and even introduced her to his family.

“Arrrghhh….” I yelled as I kicked the stool and the glass of milkshake on it fell and shattered into pieces.

I can’t let this happen….

I won’t let the so called girl take Arthur away from me.

Am his girlfriend and we should be the one making a baby.

We should be the ones getting married.

I should be the one he will be introducing to his parents as his wife to be.

I will surely get him back from that whore he wants to get married to.

I quickly rushed to my handbag and brought out a white substance.

I smirked mischieviously….

This will help me do the magic for sure.

THE NEXT DAY……

That early morning,,,, I dressed up and went to the Rodriguez’s mansion.

I wanted to make sure that I will meet him at home.

Luckily for me when I got there,,,, his parents were both not at home.

I walked straight to his room and knocked two consecutive times before asked me in.

I saw the packed luggage on his bed and he was dressed to go out.

Could it be that he is planning to run off with the so called girl?.

He was sipping a glass of juice when I came.

As soon as he saw me,,, he dropped the glass of juice and backed me still packing.

“Arthur?” I burst into tears.

“I don’t want to talk about it” He snapped.

I quickly brought out the white substance and added into his glass of juice.

“How could you do this to me?” I cried as he quickly turned to me.

“Are you deaf? Natasha I said I don’t want to talk about it” He half yelled as he picked up the glass of juice and sipped it again and again.

I smiled within myself.

“That was so cruel of you! You cheated on me and you don’t want to talk about it?” I shouted at him.

He continued drinking.

Slowly,,,, he became drowsy and his head spinned around.

Smiles escape my lips as I noticed he was feeling dizzy.

The opportunity I have been waiting for.

I quickly took his cell phone and texted the so called Aliyah girl.

Then I hugged him tightly kissing him.

“Aliyah…. I love you” He said and that annoyed me but I got no choice.

“I love you too Arthur” I replied as we kissed each other hungrily.

Aliyah’s Pov:

My bags were already packed and I waited for Arthur.

Suddenly,,, my cell phone buzzed noisily and I picked it up.

It was a message from Arthur.

“Aliyah please come over to my family’s mansion we will take off from there” I read aloud as I shook my head.

I carried the bags and left the house immediately.

I headed straight to the Rodriguez’s mansion.

I took a cab and it dropped me right in front of the mansion.

I walked into the mansion.

The securities let me in since they already knew me.

I got in and everywhere was quiet so I walked upstairs.

Then I heard some funny noise from a room.

I wanted to ignore it and phone Arthur but I was forced to open the door.

I grabbed the door handle and opened the door.

What I saw left me shocked and miserable.

I saw Arthur making love to a young lady.

Hot tears pricked my eyes and rolled down my face.

“ARTHUR??” I cried out……
