“Dad.”
I smile as I move to stand beside him and I bow to the remaining men that I found there which I think should be his business partners.
“This is my daughter Selena, she’s the one that’s going to get married to McCall’s son. It will be announced tonight.”
What?
I turn to look at him immediately with shock clearly written across my face.
Is this why he wanted to to be here?
Because he’s going to announce my wedding that I know nothing about until just about some hours ago here?
I sigh before bowing to the men that are now staring at me.
“I’m glad that this is happening Rollins because I think that this is a really good decision and it will strengthen the business bond between you two, Xander is a really good guy. I’m sure that your daughter will love him.”
A man that I know to be Mr Pierce says and I smile before bowing to him when I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen.
Oh my God. It’s happening, it’s coming.
“Are you okay, darling?”
Dad asks and I forcefully raise my head to give him a small smile.
“Yeah, I’m fine dad. I just need you guys to excuse me for a little bit.”
I smile at him and he smiles back at me before nodding at me, telling me that I can go and I go in search of Cara immediately.
I just saw her here just few minutes ago, where the hell could she be now?
I really need her right now. I’m about to start moving when my phone bings and I sigh before bringing it out and staring at the text across the screen, a smile making its way to my lios.
It’s Cara and she said that I don’t have to look around for her,she understood my message and she’s in the car already waiting for me
I dint know what the f**k that I will be able to do without her.
She understands everything without me having to tell her.
I sigh and smile before proceeding to move towards the exit when a figure had blocked my path and when I raise my head, I let out a frustrated breath.
What’s with this guy?!
“Can you move? You are blocking my path.”
I hiss and he smirks at me as he puts his hands in either side of his pocket.
“Where are leaving for so soon cupcake? We have not been introduced yet to each other and we need to know each other if we are going to get married.”
He smiles and I nod.
I felt don’t have time for all this. I’m running out of time already and if I continue staying…
“Ahhh!!”
I gro-n as the pain hits me once again and I earn a few attention.
“Hey, are you alright? What’s going on?”
I hear Xander asks and I shake my head
I need to.. I need to leave.
I try moving but the pain only got even worse and I feel myself slipping down and I can see Xander trying to hold me. Noises echoes around me before everything I see next turns to black.
Episode 13
I sigh as I slowly open my eyes and stare around where I am, this place looks so familiar and my head hurts so badly.
What the hell happened to me and what the hell am I doing here?
“I see that you’re finally awake.”
I hear Cara’s voice and I snap my head up to see her smiling at me from the door with a tray in her hands.
“What happened?”
I ask her as I finally realize that I’m in one of those houses that we always meet up for emergencies and in case something happens to the other party and if we want to keep something’s secret too.
“Well, you collapsed suddenly at the party which I think should be because of your urges. Your parents wanted to go with you to the hospital but knowing that what happened to you isn’t a case of the hospital, I convinced them to just go home and that I’m going to give them feedback which was very hærd to do.”
She sighs before moving closer to me and dropping the tray on the bed beside me.
“Why didn’t you try to wake me up then?”
She rolls her eyes at me. “Do you even remembered the last time that something like this happened? You almost died but this time you fainted, I think that’s because you have been satisfying it but nevertheless I don’t think that something like this should happen again because you were seriously in pain because of it. I thought that something night happen you you. I was so scared.”
“I’m fine now. You don’t have to worry.”
I smile at her and she sighs before holding my own and staring at me which gives me the idea that she’s about to give me one of her talks and start her lectures it telling me how dangerous this is.
“I know that it isn’t what you want but I seriously think that you need to start doing something that will keep this at bay, you have no idea how worried your parents had been about you, they still are and they have been calling me every single moment that passes.”
She says and I sigh before nodding.
“I do not want to get married, I really do not.”
I shake my head and she sighs before grabbing my hand.
“Why? Tell me why you don’t wanna get married, come on. You know that you can talk to me.”
She smiles and I sigh before nodding my head.
“I do not want to get married because I’m afraid of divorce and normally, these things happens a lot when the marriage is forced, I don’t want to go through that and secondly, you know the problem that I have in my life. I don’t know how this had happened but I can’t keep my s€×ual urges at bay whenever they comes, what do you think that Xander would think of me?”
I raise my brows at her and she sighs before hugging me.
“Everything will be fine, I promise and Xander won’t think anything of you. You will get married.”
“By the way…”
She pulls back from me and I sigh, staring at her. I’ve been wondering how the hell she had handled it.
“How did you got me here all my yourself and how did the pains stopped?”
She smirks at me and I don’t trust that smirk at all. There’s always something bad with that smirk.
“I had Xander have his way with you.”
