Daniella POV

As those words were coming out from his mouth I felt tears flowing down from my eyes.

He is a commissioner’s son for God sake.why did he choose me?

Am nobody to stand beside him talking more or speaking with him.

He can choose the whole world of me but he didn’t. Why me?

What is the f***king behind the love that made him choose someone that is not up to his standard?

Yes, I love him.

He said he loved me and I felt it.

I walked away from the mirror and sat down on my bed cleaning my tears up.

“Danny!”

“Yes!”

“I didn’t have a girlfriend which is because I am not interested in any of them but when I met you everything changed. ”he said and stopped but I didn’t not say anything and he continued.

“I know you saw me with Jane, your course mate and I think I need to explain so you can understand,”he said again.

“Jane and I are into one job and her dad Mr Dollar is our boss before he dies.

Me and Jane have been partners since I was fifty years old and she is ten.

Mr dollar loves us because any time in any where we move without anyone stopping us because we are little children.

That is when Jane started crushing on me and because her dad could go to any length to make her happy I joined the drama so that I won’t be killed.”Lawrence said and that got me thinking.

So he grew up with Jane’s dad. how come when his own dad is in Nigeria.
‘Daniella, keep your mouth shut!’my inner mind yells and I immediately stop myself from causing trouble.

But which business is that mr dollar to use them for?

What job can fifty and ten years old children do and when make the leader proud.

‘Daniella don’t dare ask that kind of question!”my inner mind yells but I ignore it.

I want to know which job it is!

“What job is that?”I asked calmly.

“I thought you would be jealous that me and Jane are together and…..”

Wait, is he trying to divert the question? No way!

“I am jealous but you are little kids then Lawrence!”i said cutting him shut.”and I want to know which kind of job that little children do that even makes their boss love them.”

He sigh..”haven’t you heard of mr dollar?”he asked and that moment my Brains began functioning.

This love has taken over my brain that I could not remember any history again.

Mr Dollar is a white man from America who is known all over the whole as the wealthiest man.

He is known for his skillful way of supplying h@rd drugs to all the country without being caught and……

“Wait.h@rd drugs supplier?”I asked , hoping he would deny, but this dude only…

“We are in charge of the production and not the supplier but whenever those countries with tight security demand for it we go and come back victorious. “he said in a proud tone.”Nobody will know that we are the main target because we are very little.”

“So you take h@rd drugs?”I asked.

“Dan…”

“Answer me please!”

“We are all into drugs, even jane.”he said, making my eyes pop out.

Jane takes drugs.
A girl for that matter.

“But i stop.”he quickly added but I didn’t say a word.

“I stopped when I got sick some while ago and Jane came to visit and take care of me.

The doctor said that I should stay away from it until I am strong enough.

Jane came as usual that day and started injecting drugs into her body with me sitting down and watching.

Then I began to think that despite me being a guy the doctor said I should stay away from it.

It will destroy her the most.

I told her to stop the drugs but she didn’t listen and continued with it.

Then I told her if she didn’t stop the drugs that she should get out of my house and angrily she stood up and left not knowing she was up to something.

Immediately she left and stood up and packed the drugs and flushed them in,side the toilet because it is so tempting and I might not be able to stop myself from taking it.

I finished flushing it then the door alarm began making a sound indicating something was at the door.

Firstly I thought she was the one who came back and I ignored that if she was tired she would open and enter.

The alarm continues making a sound as I walk to the door angrily to scold her that she’s disturbing me but when I get there there is something else.

Five policemen were standing in front with their ID cards showing they were officers.

They said they are here to check my house that I am into drugs. I try all my best to make them understand that I am not the one but they didn’t agree and insist they check everywhere.

I let them in and they began their searching and ended up not finding anything even a traces.thank God I flushed it before they came.

They said I should follow them to the headquarters because they are very sure I am into drugs and the person that makes the report can’t lie.

I follow them despite me being sick they don’t care.

We got to the headquarters and the unexpected happened. They called a doctor to run a test on my body system.

Thank goodness I feel sick and my Doctor said I should stop taking h@rd drugs for like a month. If not I will have ended my life in jail.

Their doctor ran a test and couldn’t see any traces of h@rd drugs in my body system and their doctor even said i haven’t for once taken drugs.

They apologize immediately and say I should say anything I wanted.

I don’t want anything because they are only following orders and doing their job but I won’t let that opportunity go.

Yes.i demanded for something which is the h@rdest thing for them but they had no choice.

“Who reported me?”I asked and they instantly became scared.

“We are not allowed to reveal the person sir.”

“Then get ready because I’m gonna sue you all in court!”I threatened and they became more scared.

Me taking them to court and I will definitely win because they banged into my house and accused me for what I didn’t do.

They will all lose their jobs and go to jail. That is the law.

“M miss ja..ne dol..lar.”they stammered fearfully.

Who won’t be scared at the mention of dollars? Everyone is afraid of that name despite him being dead.

I smirk at them.”thank you.”with that I walk out.

So that mammy water is that wicked?

I wonder how my best friend james will go about it.

“You no longer take h@rd drugs?”I asked happily, feeling relieved.

“Yes. Because I don’t want to hide any from you.”he answered and I became more happy.

“But I smoke and drink,”he added quickly, making my smile fade away.

Daniella POV

I gr0×ned as I felt something pressing me down making me wide my quickly.

I don’t remember anyone coming in yesterday and……

Waits! is kelly.
When did she get in?

Thank goodness I have begun to think maybe it is another person.

I pushed her off of the bed and she landed her button on the flow.

She gr0×ned in pain and sat up shooting a deadly glare.

“What the f**k miss gagari?”she yells.

“When did you come in?”I asked instead, glaring at her back.

“How you will know when you lay flat on the bed like a dead body witch.”she answered.

What is wrong with this girl that she behaves crazy all the time?

“I swear you need to be careful.”she added while I rolled my eyes at her.

“No one can enter my apartment at night except you and those crazy twins who have extra keys.”

“dude i didn’t come at night.”

“You didn’t come at night then what time did you come in?”I asked , eyeing her.

I just woke up in the morning and met her beside me which means she came in yesterday night.

“Dude this 12 pm!”she said pointing to the direction of the wall clock.i gape out seeing it.

What! So since yesterday I am actually waking up now.

Thank goodness I did not have any lectures till evening.

“I came at eight o’clock in the morning when you are still snoring disturbing me.”she said and laughed but when she saw my face she kept shut. Better!

“But you are really snoring and….”

“Can’t you hear a simple instruction?”i.shouted.”Keep shut!”

“You didn’t tell me to keep shut but now you said I will.”she said using her hand to sip her mouth and I rolled my eyes.

I sigh laying on the bed back staring at the ceiling ignoring her then the memories of yesterday came rushing in.

Everything Lawrence said yesterday came flashing in my head that I didn’t not realize I was smiling and blushing at the same time.

“Miss Gagari, come here!”Kelly’s voice brought me back, making me frown.

“What again?”I asked but she didn’t answer as she stood up heading to my side.

God..why is it that is this girl I saw when I wake up?

“I said come here!”she said and started drawing me away from the bed.

I did want to even bother to struggle because she will always do that in her nerd mind.

She drew me in the flow and made me sit down on the flow and she sat down also facing me as I watched her performing craziness.

“Why were you blushing?”she asked, making me furrow my brow as if I don’t understand what she is saying. Which I did.

So she actually catch me blushing?

“Don’t dare give me that look miss gagari!”she glaring at me as if she could have swollen me any moment from now.”why were you blushing?”

She asked again and immediately Lawrence’s voice flash back to mind ‘you are mine,i love you’ then i blush again.

“Omg…
You are blushing again.”she examines with her eyes raised as I quickly use my hand to cover my cheeks.

Daniella controls herself and stops blushing like a ten years old girl in love.

Gosh…my cheeks are red like ripe tomatoes.

“I can’t believe my best is hiding something from me.”she said with a sad tone and I rolled my eyes.

“Were you not hiding some from yesterday and…..”

my phone started ringing out stopping me from completing my words and I immediately stood up rushing to it ignoring that crazy girl that was laughing.

Smile appeared on my eyes as I saw who was calling and I immediately picked up.

“Danny love.”he said as I blush again.

“Daniella Adetoye control yourself!”my inner mind yells.

“Good morning.”I said and Kelly laughed the most.

“You don’t tell me you are just waking up.”he said as a gape let out my mouth realizing that it was afternoon.

“That is the reason you didn’t pick up my call earlier.”he said and I couldn’t determine if it was a question or…

“You called?”I asked immediately as I quickly checked my phone and saw twenty five missed calls.

“Omg….sorry i slept off.”I said quickly as Kelly laughed out the more.

What the hell is this girl’s problem?

“I guess… Your crazy friends are there.”he mumbled, not knowing that I put on a louder speaker making Kelly frown.

“Hey.i heard that!”Kelly shouted and a gape escaped his mouth.

“What!
Sorry… I didn’t mean it.”he quickly apologies and I begin to laugh.

But trust Kelly that she won’t let go like that.

“Calling your in_laws crazy is a crime!”she said.

“Pardon me in-law.
Am sorry.”he said as Kelly joined me to laugh.

“You are forgiven but when I see you I must pouch your handsome face,”Kelly said.

“Okay!okay!okay.
Danny love, don’t be angry if you don’t see me.”he said laughing.

“What!”I said.

“Just kidding.”he said and we both laughed and talked for some minutes before hanging up.

“Did you think me and John could ever be like this?”Kelly suddenly asked with her expression changes.

I sigh walking to her and place my hand on her shoulder.

“Yes, because you are beautiful, caring and kind and I know John also felt something for you.”I said gently to lightly up her mood.

“Really?”she asked happily and I nodded and hugged her tight.

She didn’t extend and she hugged me back.we stood like that for some second and my eyes suddenly landed on something not familiar.

Wait. A shopping bag.

“Kelly what is that?”I asked immediately.

Her eyes landed on the shopping back and a smirk appeared on her face.

“What is in,side?”I asked and started moving towards it with her following at the back.

“Dress.”she answered and I immediately stopped turning to face.

“Dress for who?
Who owns it?”I was confused but she only kept on smiling with a smirk appearing.

“For you!”she answered, making me confused the more.

“For me?
I Don’t understand,”I said.

“The dress is for you.”she repented again as I told her I have an ear problem.

Her smirking grew bigger.
What’s going on?

Why don’t it seems i don’t understand my best friends anymore?

“For me?”I asked again and she nodded, smiling.

“For what?

What is it for?”

“Hey…enough of your questions!”She complained walking past me and headed to where the shopping bag was kept.

“Which time is the lecture starting?”she asked.

“4pm.” I answer even though I know she is aware of it but I just wanted to know where she is heading to.

“That is right!”she said and I rolled my eyes.

“You are wearing the dress to lecture.”she said, making me furrow my brow.

“I’m confused.”I said.

“What’s it that you don’t understand there?”she glared at me.

“I said you are wearing this dress to lecture this evening.”she repented again with her voice sounding like a commandment.

“And that is final!”she added, bringing out the dress and a gape escaped my mouth.

“What!”
