I finally walk out of the gate breathing out in relief….gosh today has been so stressful I am f***I’m tired now!

I just finished all my lectures for today successfully despite those killer eyes that wanted to swell me.I wonder if their hatred for me upgraded after what happened yesterday.

And also trust me they are some set of them who have been busy opening their teeth and waving at me Every second making me roll my eyes… Are they just seeing me? That I have suddenly turned into a celebrity.

I bring out my phone again trying to call those crazy friends of mine but as usual none of them pick up.

Where the hell did they keep their phone?

This is making the twenty times that I have been calling and they didn’t pick up.
Don’t ask me how I know that it is twenty… I have been counting it so I could use it against them just like they always did.

Now I have no choice but to go home.. I swear it will be boring as hell without my friends..gosh I am not used to being alone!

How I wish they would pick up their call. I would have gone to meet them whenever they were having fun but now I can’t.

I keep on trying their numbers as I trek home through those bad feelings that are coming in my mind.

I just feel that something is not right or maybe it is because my friends are not around… It can be the reason.

Some minutes later I am standing in front of my apartment. God knows I am forcing myself to stay awake now. If not I will have been sleeping while walking home.silly me!

I am f****k tired and feeling sleepy right now.

I brought out my key in,side my bag to open the door but it’s already open..

I am not that surprised because I know my crazy friends are the one in,side…wait! Was that the reason they didn’t pick up their calls?

At least they will have just told me they are around instead of ignoring my calls.

Those crazy children I will deal with so much today!

I opened the door with determination to yell angrily at them for not picking up my calls but meant another prank.

Another prank again!

I walk in,side to meet every where dark which means they turn off the light and true be said I don’t know where the switch is located if there is one because since I have gotten here they have never for one taken the light.

Every day and night there’s always light shining everywhere. Now I know that this sudden darkness is the result of my crazy friend’s work.

And because this is my apartment I was still able to locate Every direction even without light.

“You guys should better stop that prank because I am not ready for it now!”I said walking in,side the room when the light suddenly turned on and a figure appeared sitting on my bed crossing her legs.

With all the jewelry,dressing in fact only one stares at her one could say that this woman is wealthy and powerful.

How did she enter?

She sat down with her legs crossed on my bed comfortably as she was the president of this country and even had a glass of wine sipping it. On my bed?

Who is she?
What is she doing here and why is it that I don’t feel secure just being around her or maybe is the way she is glaring at me? I don’t even know her..

“Good day ma.”I said finally finding my voice but she just continue glaring at me

I am scared already with those eyes of hers… What does she want from me?

“So you are the little brat?”she asked with her voice emotionless giving me a killer look… In fact with those scary eyes of hers I feel like the ground to open and swollen me.

“This is the little brat that made my Jane have a sleepless night?”she asked again, sipping her wine but angrily.

Jane.who is jane?
Wait! Mammy water.

But I haven’t seen her since and how did I even make her have a sleepless night?

“M..ma I don’t… Understand…”

“Keep your f**k mouth shut!”she yells throwing the glass of wine away, making it clash and broken into pieces.

“You still have the guts to speak when my baby is there crying her lung out in the bed!”she added, clenching her fit.

Her Jane,her baby…what hell is happening and how is she even related to jane?…..wait..
The resemblance is there!

Could she be Jane mum?…I mean..wife of mr dollar..omg…this is Mrs Johnson Dollar!

No wonder she looks rich and smells of power but what did I have to do with mammy water not eating and having sleepless nights?

She is a mammy for Christ sake!
She lives in the water while I live in the ground. What now my problem with her?

“Hahahaha!!”she suddenly laugh devilishly standing up from the bed increasing my fears

“You!”she pointed at me angrily with her eyes changing dangerously.

Oh boy..this one is no be joke ooo!

‘Daniella,run!”my inner mind yells.

I stood there scared until I saw her taking steps forward to my side.. trust me!

I turned back immediately picking at my fits but I wasn’t successful because THE..three..giat.

Three scaring strong men in black stood blocking my way and I immediately felt my blood drained off.

“I am Jane mum, the wife of the almighty dolla!
No one can run away from my power!”I heard her and I began to shiver.

Before I could detail what would happen next white handkerchief was placed on my nose, making me suddenly weak.

I try all my capacity to fight the weak and stay strong hoping it was a prank again but no…it happening!

My mind warned me…it gave me a sigh but I didn’t listen!

I fight the weakness but …
Yes….all my capacity to stay strong betrayed me and everything started becoming blur and darkness started to take over….

The last thing I heard was the woman laughing devilishly with full powers displaying in her voice.

It’s not a prank this time…yes it is the reality!

Before I know everything is becoming black…I pass out into the darkness world!

Chapter 43

Unknown POV 📍📍

Lawrence is now at the campus gate searching for Daniella but he couldn’t find her.

He has been trying her number since before driving here but the phone kept ringing without being picked, making Him to be damn worried.

Many thoughts had been running through his mind and he started getting scared.

Why is she ignoring his call?

Or maybe she was angry because yesterday he said she shouldn’t go to lecture. Could it be so?

Did he rush things for her that she decided to break up within him?

Could it be that she doesn’t ……gosh he rubs his head in frustrating clenching his fit!

God knows he would kill himself if Daniella broke up with him but what did he do?

He reversed his car heading to her apartment to meet her hoping she would be there.

Fifteen minutes later he rushed out of his car running towards her apartment.

He pushes the door not to bother to knock and thanks goodness it’s even open.

He rushed in,side hoping to meet her with those crazy Friend’s of hers but no…no one was in,side!

“Danny.”he called, walking in fully but got no response.

“Daniella!”He called again but as usual there was no response.

He brought out his phone and dialled her number immediately. The call entered the ringing of phones filled everywhere.

He traced the sound and found her phone on the flow laying carelessly there and the bag she carried this morning was also there on the flow.

He picked up the phone and saw all his missed calls there… What is happening?

His body started shaking…knowing something was not right somewhere.

Then his eyes catch a note kept on the bed and he walks towards it and picks it up, opening it and starting reading.

He read the note. By now he was angry and started punching the nearest wall.

Meanwhile the crazy best Friends are at the beach enjoying themselves and having fun.

James and John came out of the water and lay on the ground watching everywhere.

John’s eyes focus on Kelly who is still in,side the water swimming happily and performing some weird madness as usual.

James catches his brother staring at her without taking his eyes off, making him shake his head.

“Why don’t tell her before it is too late?”James said, taking his eyes back to the water, staring at Kelly.

“Kelly is a beautiful girl that another guy will not waste time approaching her and he might win her heart before you even take a step!”

“I am not going to allow that to happen!”John said with his eyes still on kelly.

“You claim to love her then go to her and tell her how you felt.”James said and John shook his head.

“You don’t understand.
It is not that easy to just Walk up to her and split out all those words.”

“There is nothing hærd there.”James said, making John chuckle.

“There is nothing hærd there and you haven’t even for once said hi to Jane who you claim to love.”John scoffed.

“Mine is different!”James said.

“And what is the difference?”John asked mockingly.

“Me and Jane haven’t spoken for once so it is not easy for me to walk up to her and tell her how I felt. it sound stupid.

But you…we are talking about your best friend here.
You are in love with your best friend and it is easier for you to confess how you felt.”James explained.

“That is the point!
Kelly is my best friend. It is not easy for me to tell her how I felt towards her just like that….W..what if she doesn’t feel the same way for me?”John said finally broke his gaze away from her and faced james.

“Kelly is also my best friend and I am 99℅ sure she felt something toward even though she hasn’t say it……kelly felt something for you is just remaining for you to take a step..”james said.

“B..but what if she turns me down?”

“She won’t!
But if she did then me and Daniella will help you mend your broken heart.”James teases, hoping to make him smile but it doesn’t work because John still keeps a sad face.

“If she turns me down I know I will be heartbroken but that is not what I am afraid of..”

“What are you afraid of, lover boy?”James asked, teasing him again.

“Our friendsh¡p!
I am scared of our friendsh¡p broken because I can’t take that….she is my best friend and I don’t want to lose her.”John explained with his voice broken, making James sigh…

His brother is really in love with this crazy girl swimming over there opening all her teeth happily.

“Bro doesn’t think so because Kelly is a nice girl as we all know she can’t stop being our best friend. We are best friends forever..”

“But I want her to be more than a best friend to me…I really love that girl,”John confessed.

“Then take the next step!”

“Is not that easy..”John said sadly.

“Wait!
Which step are you guys taking and…. John, what is not easy?”a voice blurted in.

The two of them turn to see Kelly in their front and they s¢ræm out.

Do you see a ghost?”Kelly asked, wondering why they suddenly s¢ræm.

“What did you hear?”John asked, ignoring her question, making jams to shake his head at him.
