NEXT DAY
Vanessa opened her eyes gently and numbers of eyes stared and pierced straight at her,she remembered last night and immediately sat up on the bed
“Careful” Giovanni tried touching her
“Don’t touch me! Tell me,is my face okay?” She asked
“There’s…..”
“Answer me please…they poured a liquid on my face,it really stings so much and it still hurts…please tell me nothing is wrong with my face” Vanessa said in tears
“Vee there’s nothing wrong with your face,calk down” Giovanni said and Vanessa swallowed
“Are you sure?” She asked
“That’s right,nothing happened to your face” Quinn said and handed over the mirror to her
Vanessa immediately took it and checked her face,it’s true,her face is still the same but she could see some redness on it,possibly from the liquid
“Are you okay now?” The nurse asked and Vanessa nodded
“But…what happened? I can’t remember anything,how did you find me?” She asked
“Valentino found you unconscious” Quinn said and Vanessa raised her head to see Valentino who was standing by the door,his back resting on the wall
“But…what was poured on my face?” Vanessa asked
“Those devils intended acid on your face” Quinn said and Vanessa’s eyes widened
“So…how…come my face didn’t get destroyed?” She asked the nurse
“They came here yesterday to ask for that,,I wanted to know why they would want something like that but they weren’t truthful,so I what I gave them was distilled water,not acid” The nurse confessed
“You should have just slapped them or hit them with something,why would you give them something else? What if it was also dangerous to her skin? What type of nurse are you?!’ Valentino yelled angrily
“I’m sorry” The nurse pleaded
Valentino scoffed and walked out of the ward,closing the door loudly.
“I will see you later” Giovanni kissed Vanessa’s head and also went out
“Are you sure the water wouldn’t affect my skin?” Vanessa asked
“No,distilled water doesn’t affect your skin in a bad way,so don’t sorry. You are just reacting to it coz of the fears” The nurse replied and Quinn sighed out
The nurse left after that
Erica and Angelique rushed into the ward
“Vanessa!” They called and Angelique immediately hugged her
“Are you okay?” She asked
Vanessa nodded sadly,hugging her waist
“My face…almost got ruined” She said emotionally
“Don’t worry,we got you. I’m sure they will be punished” Erica said

CHANCELLOR’S OFFICE
“So you want to destroy a fellow student’s face? Why?” The chancellor asked the trios,Paige,Delphine and Julia
“On no reason were they supposed to do that!” Gigi shouted angrily from the back
“You should calm down okay? I know Vanessa is your friend but at least you should wait for me to pass my judgment on this” The chancellor said but almost immediately the door opened and Reed walked in
“There’s nothing here to judge about,they will be expelled immediately and the cops will be here to take them coz it’s an attempted murder” Reed said and the girls eyes widened
“Reed!” Paige called in tears and fell on her knees
“Please….”
“Then you should have thought well before doing something that crazy” Valentino said as she entered
The girls swallowed hard
Valentino faced Delphine
“So you decided to do this shit just because we f**ked once? Are you that evil??” He asked,looking so angry
The door opened again and Giovanni came in,Paige immediately gpt up and rushed to him
“Giovanni please help….” She stopped when Giovanni raised his hand and slapped her hard on the face
“I f**king told you to stay away from me!! How dare you do that to her all in the name of this obsession?! You are twenty one right? Old enough to go to jail” Giovanni said and immediately three cops entered
“Noooo!!!” They screamed
“Take them all,their admissions will be terminated right away so they were never a student in my school,I don’t want murderers here” Reed said
The cops packed the three girls and took them away
Gigi went out with Giovanni and Valentino.
Reed turned to the chancellor
“If you don’t know how to do your job perfectly,then be ready to leave” Reed said
“Mr Lakes himself employed me Reed” The Chancellor said
“Then should I just call him to fire you? It won’t take me a minute” Reed snapped
“I’m sorry” The chancellor immediately apologized
Reed rolled his eyes and stormed out of the office

As Vanessa was walking toward the car,she could hear numbers of murmurs all at a time. It’s obvious the news is all over the school already,a guy from the junior class even came over to give her a flower
“Oh..thank you” Vanessa said as she accepted it
“I’m so glad your face is still the same,you’re my role model” he said
“Are you a freshman?” Vanessa asked and he nodded
“Thank you so much for this flower” Vanessa said
He bowed shortly and walked away
“Now I’m jealous” Gigi said and Quinn laughed
“Stop ut” Vanessa said and they all entered the car
Minutes later,they arrived at the Cherry mansion
“You guys are supposed to have lectures” Vanessa saud
“We are skipping” Erica said
“Please no one is telling my mom anything” Vanessa pleaded and they all nodded
“Gosh,never knew those girls could be as evil as this. I wonder what would have happened of the nurse really gave them the acid” Angelique said
“I don’t want to talk about it” Vanessa muttered

TUCKER’S GROUP
Mrs Tucker was in her office doing some works when the door opened and her PA entered
“Ma’am” he bowed
“Why are you here?” Mrs Tucker asked without looking up
“The young master and Vanessa Clark are friends ma’am” The PA said and Mrs Tuckef looked up
“What?! Friends?” She asked again and the PA nodded
He moved closer and dropped some pictures on the table,pictures of Valentino and Vanessa talking pretty doing other things together
Mrs Tucker took one of the pictures and squeezed it angrily
“That boy will never learn! Never!” She shouted and wiped off everything on her table angrily
“Well,I think it’s time then. Time for vim to know that he belongs to nobody else” She muttered

9PM≈VANESSA’S ROOM
Vanessa was just coming out of the bathroom,she was wearing a robe. She sat down in front of the mirror and touched her face before breathing out loudly.
She kept on staring at her own face from the mirror when suddenly she heard a sound of crack from her window,she immediately turned at once only go find Valentino jumping in. She immediately stood up
“You can come here just anytime you want” She said,glaring at him
“Nessa I’m sorry” Valentino said and Vanessa rolled her eyes
“I just….got taken away and I ended up with…I’m sorry so can you please stop the silent treatment already?” Valentino pleaded as he walked closer to her
Vanessa said nothing either,he stopped in front of her
“Are you seriously….dating Giovanni?” He asked and Vanessa looked up
“Yes,so you should leave…..”
“Honestly,I don’t care Nessa. I’m also crazy about you” Valentino said and touched her cheek,their eyes never left each other
“You’re such a jerk” Vanessa muttered
“I know,but I promise it’s never going to happen again,I’m sorry….please forgive me and stop avoiding me” Valentino said
Vanessa swallowed as she stared at his lips,and without thinking,she blurted out nonchalantly
“Kiss me” She said in a low seductive tone
Valentino didn’t take a second before grabbing her waist and slammed his lips on her own hungrily.

{ A FIGHT FOR HER }
Vanessa responded in the same pace as Valentino,their tongues and lips melting together. Valentino held her waist more tightly and then grabbed her @ss,Vanessa moaned out,she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Valentino suddenly carried her and her legs twirled around his waist,their lips still connected. He dropped her on the bed and even deepened the kiss more. The hair towel dropped from her head and her long hair came into view as they both broke the kiss.
“Are you really dating him?” Valentino asked,still staring at her lips
“Why are you asking?” Vanessa asked
“I just want to know,but I don’t think I need the answer right now. Who cares” He said and Vanessa chuckled
“You think I’m ever going to cheat on my boyfriend? Never” She said
“Not when I am Valentino” Valentino said and pecked her lips before falling beside her on the bed
“I missed you” he muttered and Vanessa faced him
“That sounds like a lie” She said
“You need to trust me okay? About Becky…I honestly got crazy because of you,that was why” Valentino said
“Because of me?” Vanessa questioned
“Yeah,cos I was jealous seeing you and Giovanni eating together” he replied
“I thought you accepted to date him” He added
“That’s not an excuse,you’re just the jerk I used to know” Vanessa scoffed and Valentino sat up
“Wanna go out?” He asked
“It’s past nine” Vanessa immediately said
“I’m starving” Valentino said
“Don’t tell me you didn’t eat” Vanessa said
“I was worried about you all day,I couldn’t wait to come here that I forgot to eat” Valentino muttered and her cheeks turned pink
“You look cute when you blush” Valentino winked and pulled her up
“Let’s go out” he said
“I’m not going anywhere with you Valentine” Vanessa said and Valentino smiled
“What did you just called me?” He asked and Vanessa immediately regretted calling him that
“Nothing,you should go find something to eat,leave me alone” She said
“Says someone who asked for a kiss just minutes ago” Valentino teased and Vanessa glared at him
“Okay fine,but you’re going out with me tomorrow okay? Even if you’re with him,I will come and drag you with me” He said
“As if you can” Vanessa scoffed
“Then let’s see tomorrow,you’re mine tomorrow,okay?” Valentino winked and like that he walked to the window but then turned back
“Goodnight Nessa” he said softly
“Goodnight” Vanessa muttered,watching him jump down as usual
She sighed out and sat down on the bed,how she asked for a kiss came to her mind and she screamed
‘What am I doing? Giovanni is there’ she thought and bite her lips,the truth is she doesn’t even understand herself right now.
The door opened and Gigi entered
“Babe are you okay? I heard you scream” She said
“Gigi what do I do?” Vanessa faced her immediately
“Wow,finally she want to talk about it” Gigi smiled
“I’m confused,please don’t laugh” Vanessa said
“Talking about Giovanni and Valentino?” Gigi asked
“How did you know?” Vanesaa asked
“Coz it’s obvious babe,you like them both” Gigi replied
“I….think I do” Vanessa muttered
“But who do you like most?” Gigi asked and Vanessa thought for a while
“I don’t know Gigi,I don’t” She breathe out
“This is serious,who is your heart beating for? Like the unusual beats?” Gigi asked again
Vanessa kept quiet and then her mind went to Valentino,she could remember how fast her heart was beating just when he came into her room,and it got worse anytime he gets close to even kiss her,but crazily she never felt that way anytime she’s either Giovanni
“Does the beats…..means something?” She asked
“Obviously,if you have a crush on a guy…..”
“I’m not crushing on Valentino” Vanessa snapped
“So it’s Valentino afterall” Gigi said and Vanessa sighed out
“What….what does that mean?” Vanessa asked
“I think you’re in love with Tino pumpkin,your eyes says it all….”
“Stop it” Vanessa mumbled
“It’s the truth babe,you always want him around you,you don’t like seeing him with other girls,even though you pretend but still you like it when he looks at you alone….prove me wrong” Gigi said
“Goodnight” Vanessa mumbled and fell on the bed
“Don’t keep Giovanni waiting pumpkin,it hurts more that way” Gigi said before going out
Vanessa sat up and she bite her lips
Actually,Gigi is right. Everything she said is true,but silly her doesn’t even know that is what people call love,it’s her first time anyway. But why Valentino of all people?? Why not Giovanni?? Why?!!
Her phone rang out and she turned to see the caller,it’s Giovanni.
She couldn’t even touch the phone,she only stared as the phone rang continuously
“I’m sorry Vanni….I’m sorry” She muttered

NEXT MORNING
As Vanessa walked beside Gigi,the students kept on screaming her name,good wishes and all,she never knew she was loved that much until this morning.
They met the golden boys just outside the lecture hall
“Hey queen V” The boys all called at a time and Valentino looked up,he removed his headphones too,getting a better look at her sexiness
“Morning guys” Vanessa smiled at them and walked closer to Reed
“Hey” She said and Reed smiled at her
“Thank you” She muttered,bringing out her hand for a shake
“Gosh,I should have done that earlier to shake her” Reed said and the boys laughed including Vanessa and Gigi
“You’re welcome anyway” Reed said,taking her hand
“Me too,I’m jealous please” Virgil said and Vanessa also shook hands with him,she turned to Terence
“A hug would do” Terence said and opened his arms,he was about hugging her but Valentino pulled him back
“Don’t act so crazy” he said
Gigi chuckled,holding Vanessa’s hand as they entered the hall
“Dude,do you have to do that? It’s just a hug not a kiss” Terence scoffed
“Hug indeed” Valentino said and they also went into the lecture hall.
“Who’s in for a sleepover tonight?? To celebrate those bad eggs that were expelled?” Shirley suddenly asked and everyone laughed
“I’m in!!” Gigi said out loudly and the students started murmuring
“Unfortunately,Vanessa wont be there” Valentino spoke up and everyone turned to him
“Why? How did you know?” Finn asked
“Of course I know,you can ask her” Valentino said and winked at Vanessa who was speechless
“Oh right.. Yeah,I won’t be there. We can make it tomorrow” She said
“Yes!!” Sasha and Soraya said
Almost immediately,the lecturer walked into the hall.

As the lecturer was going on in class,Giovanni wasn’t himself. He couldn’t stop thinking about Vanessa and the fact that she ignored his calls and never bothered to call back was so disturbing.
He was wondering if she’s mad at him,is she angry because he refused even after she accepted his proposal? He was trying not to regret that but he is already.
“Gio” Pierce called and he turned
“What the f**k are you thinking bro,I’ve been calling you” Ace said
“I didn’t even hear you,what do you want?” Giovanni asked
Pierce was about talking when the lecturer walked out of the hall and immediately Giovanni stood up
“Where are you going?” Ace asked
“Let’s talk later” He said and walked out
“Is something going on with him?” Pierce asked
“Who knows” Ace muttered.
Vanessa was just coming out of the hall with her friends when Giovanni showed up.
“Vee” he called
“Oh,it’s Giovanni” Angelique said and they all turned
“Meet us in the cafeteria” Gigi said and Vanessa nodded gently before turning to Giovanni
“Hey” She managed to smile
“I called you last night…..”
“Oh I….I slept off” She said nervously
“I was worried,I thought you’re mad at me” Giovanni said
“Of course not,I’m sorry for not picking up” Vanessa said
“Can we just talk for a minute?” Giovanni asked and Vanessa nodded
Giovanni held her hand softly and they both walked away
Meanwhile,Valentino was watching them as they talked and the moment they both left,he also walked out of the hall.

Giovanni and Vanessa entered and empty class together,there was total silence. Vanesaa could hear her heart beating so fast,it’s not a weird beat,it’s only because she’s nervous and scared of what he’s going to say or what her answer is going to be,she would have tried her best to avoid this conversation but like Gigi said,it’s going to hurt more if it’s not done now.
“Vee?” Giovanni called and she looked up
“Why are we here?” She asked
“Coz….I…just want to remind you that I love you” Giovanni said and Vanessa swallowed
“I promised to give you enough time but the truth is…I’m going Crazy already,I think about you every single second,I just….I don’t think I can hold it anymore. I’m madly in love with you Vanessa” Giovanni confessed
Vanessa said no word,their eyes bulging into each other’s own.
“Say something….please” Giovanni held her hand but she immediately moved back
“Vanessa…”
“Giovanni……..I’m…..I….”
“Don’t tell me you’re rejecting me” Giovanni said
“I’m sorry” Vanessa said lowly,avoiding his eyes
“But I love You Vanessa,it’s the truth…I’m crazy about you” Giovanni said hurtfully
“I like you Giovanni,but I know that’s not enough,I don’t feel the same way…..” She stopped when she saw a tear drop in his eyes which surprised her
“Gio……”
“Is this because of Valentino?” Giovanni suddenly asked,cutting her off
“No that’s not it…..”
“Then why? You told me just two days ago that you would like to be my girlfriend,were you only trying to make a fool of me? Why are you rejecting me now??” Giovanni asked
“Giovanni I’m sorry,I just…….don’t want to hurt you” Vanesaa said
“But you’re hurting me now,if you don’t want to hurt me..then be my girlfriend. My love is enough for us….”
“You said you won’t force me” Vanessa immediately said
“It’s not my fault that I am getting crazy as the days pass by” Giovanni said
Vanessa stared at him for a minute
“I’m sorry” She muttered and made to leave
Giovanni grabbed her band and pulled her back,he pinned her against the wall and Vanesaa let out a gasp
He started bringing his face closer,but Vanessa looked away,avoiding his lips. Giovanni stared at her in shock
“Did he told you to avoid my kiss too?” He asked
“Giovanni stop!” Vanessa snapped
“Why can’t I kiss you too?!” He said loudly and tried kissing her again
The door opened loudly and Valentino came in,Vanessa turned to the door immediately
“Let her go” Valentino said
Giovanni released Vanesaa and turned to Valentino with an angry glare
He didn’t think twice before throwing a punch on his face,Vanessa gasped with wide eyes
“Valentino!” She called as Valentino fell on the floor but Giovanni didn’t leave him,he grabbed him and punched him again
“Who the f**k do you think you are?!” Giovanni yelled and continue hitting him
Valentino’s face was already covered with blood But Giovanni ignored Vanessa’s screams
“Giovanni stop!!” She shouted and rushed in between them
Mistakenly,Giovanni’s hand met her
“Ouch!” She winced and fell
Valentino’s eyes widened immediately,somehow the strength came from nowhere
“What the f**k?” He got up and pushed Giovanni to the floor and got on top
“How dare you hurt her?!! You bastard!!” He yelled angrily and began returning the punches on his face,even heavier ones
“Valentine!! Stop it please!!” Vanesaa broke into tears.
