Chapter 49👲🏼

“Here we go”, Dominion said.

Days passed already they had been taking plans and adding styled and they regain their strength and skills while they proceeded in their strategies.

“It is a good thing we could make flying machines”, Kane said

“Ranob was the brain behind this”, Josh said

“But it took all our skills to bring it to life.

The flying machine was their first plan, a machine that flies through the use of the feathers from giant bird. Luckily Josh and Ranob had taken this feathers in hundreds and there was still enough.

The machine created was just a simple structure but was capable of going into air but through work of hands.

Description of the flying machine.

The flying machine main body is made out of great thick wood, thanks to the axe of Dominion chopping down the wood was no big deal. The timbers were carved into a high oval shaped which had five seats in them one in front the others at the back.

The machine is a kinda wooden complication which required high intelligence to put in place it, flying structures which are major feathers. Magic isn’t everything.

At the side of the oval wooden structure there are a total number of 8 feathers which were the length from the heels of Josh to his w–st. Josh isn’t that tall but he is the second tallest among his friends same with Melvin, Kane and Ranob are the shortest.

A total number of 16 feathers out of hundreds was required to make this machine come through, the more feathers the lighter it goes, a kind of shelter was also placed above to prevent rain and sun.

 

Here is how the machine works, certain tough iron strings are attached in,side the oval structure, a total number of 5 strings per feather, this strings were gotten from the cave of the friendly beast. The strings are elastic and can’t break cause they are enchanted, they are placed on each feathers and held through many holes within the wood and then connected to a two feathers for each side of the wood where the rider has to keep pedaling to keep it on air. A single steering is created again this turns the strings of the feathers to change direction.

So the strings for pedaling are connected to other strings for steering,they were made in such a way that the other wouldn’t complicate the other while in function.

But they didn’t stop their creative minds there and created a kind of light wood bag which had four feathers which were placed on each other, a string held them together and to take it to air was just simple.

 

The wooden bag is a single machine structure which had strings too, made in case they were to crash from the main flying machine or sneak in a place.

The wooden bag was easy to work on, it had two little long narrow woods which were all coiled up with strings. Once this strings are pulled by the fingers it loosen really slowly allowing this feathers to flap themselves and they can stop if the strings are held down to certain level but to fold up the wings is when all the entire strings are pulled down.

You take off by pulling just few strings which loosen up slowly once they finish loosening up it drops and can only come back up if you pull the strings for a long period of time at this moment the wings flaps faster and go higher and comes back to normal. But to stop the feathers motion you pull the feathers to a certain level not too hærd.

When it comes to staying still on air, this can be done by folding your fists and to five down you fold up your wings.

Landing is no issue for the feathers can go back into the bag just by spreading your hands sideways straight for 5 seconds.

“Enough talking”, Josh said

“Let take this for a test ride”, Kane said

“Alright guys”, Dominion said as they hopped into the main flying structure.

“Am taking the back seat”, Melvin said.

“Me too”, Kane replied

“Ranob take front seat”, Josh said

“No not me”, Ranob replied

“You have bolts and that is perfect”, Josh argued

“Alright I will seat at the front”, Ranob said as he sat down.

“Ok guys I handle steering”, Josh said

“And I handle just looking and observing”, Dominion said.

“Ranob i got another thing you can do”, Josh said

“What?”, He answered with anticipation a colleague of his.

“Navigation”, Josh said

“Navigation, that is right”, Kane said “it is really important we have a navigator”.

“Ok I will do it”, Ranob said with all smiles.

“Alright boys”, Dominon said

“No, we are now men with beards”, Josh argued

“Alright men with beards, are your ready for take off”, Dominion shouted

“Enough talking lets get rolling”, Melvin shouted

“Melvin it is called flying”, Kane said with a smirk

“Idiot, I knew that”, Melvin shouted.

“Pedalers nope Flight takers, push it”, Dominion shouted as they started pedaling the wings were flapping and were lifting the machine upwards.

“Pedal in unison”, Josh said.

The machine was going up little by little into the sky.

“Goodness we didn’t figure out how to make this thing go backwards or forward”, Dominion shouted.

“The steering wheel is for sideways what is that straight lever for”, Josh asked.

“I forgot, it is to increase speed of this baby”, Kane shouted

Dominion pulled the lever forward slowly, the vessel began moving forward a little while.

“Put more speed”, Melvin shouted furiously.

“You want speed”, Josh shouted back as he pulled the lever forward to the xtreme end, it gave a sudden burst of speed so fast that they shouted.

They kept pedaling but the speed seem to take over as it move on it own.

“Bring back the lever”, Ranob shouted

“Wait i see one more lever” here”, Josh shouted

“I made that too”, Kane shouted

Josh pressed the lever near to his seat and it took the flying machine down.

“Bring it up!!”, Ranob shouted

Obviously he was the one suffering all this nonsense driving of a thing.

Josh did it and rather than taking it slowly to middle he drew it back up suddenly taking the machine to the sky at a fast speed.

“Help”, Ranob s¢ræmed

Before Josh drew it back to the middle making it stable.

“Am not enjoying this ride”, Dominion shouted.

“It is scary and dangerous”, Ranob shouted

“It is perfect”, Josh said.

“Next thing is putting something, so we can hold tight to this machine and drop our weapons too”, Kane said

“Truth but let just go back and give finishing touches before testing the next machine”, Josh said

“What should we call this machine”, Melvin asked

“I have a name for it”, Josh said

“What is it?”, They asked

“The crow”, Josh said

Chapter 50

The crow kept flying and they successfully landed it on the floor, by slowing the crow speed down and pressing the down lever slowly.

Each and everyone had a special role to play in the control of the Crow.

Ranob handled Navigation

Josh handled The steering to all directions up down side ways.

Melvin and Kane handle flying while Dominion controlled the speed.

“Now that was perfect”, Kane said

“We will give finishing touches to Crow right jow”, Josh said

“So what are the list of things we need to put”, Dominion said

“Handles for us to hold tight too”, Kane said

“And also a place to keep our weapons while focusing on flying”, Ranob said

“That should be no problem”, Josh asked as they began work again.

They finished this design for the next 1 hour and it was done and completed.

“What we need is to paint this baby”, Melvin said

“What colour, where do you want to get colours to paint”, Asked Josh

“Simple using magic to that”, Melvin said as his hands emitted steam slowly.

“We need a scary design”, Kane said.

“I got an idea”, Josh said, his hands glowed green.

“Melvin do what you wanna do”, Josh said.

Melvin walked to the wood and began covering it in steam forming a red color all over the wood.

“Now my turn to use a mind design”, Josh said he touched the wood with his hands he closed his eyes.

Gradually the Wood was given a very scary design which seemed realistic, but josh wasn’t done. The side of the wood were turning metallic slowly but this didn’t even affect the design or painting of the wood which was now metal.

“Now that is what i call power”, Kane said.

“The design is cool”, Melvin said

“It is now metallic”, Josh said with a smile as he knocked on the metal to prove.

“Awesome, at least we wont be keeping the wood away from termites”, Ranob said

“Now you work in wonders josh”, Melvin said making josh laugh.

“Design my single flyer”, Kane said as he gave it to Josh.

“Make it metallic to”, He said

Josh gave a design and it was metallic, making the flyer stronger.

“Here is mine”, Melvin said

Giving it an awesome design to everyone own including his and turning it to metallic flying machines.

“Now who is ready to take this machine for a test run”, Dominion said as he wore the metallic bag.

“We climb up the mountain and jump down”, Ranob said

“Not me and you”, Melvin said.

“We can fly off from anywhere just by pulling the strings”, Josh said.

“First to bring the wings out, just pull the strings”, Dominion.

“Are you guys ready cause i feel i am”, Kane shouted.

They all pulled their strings and immediately the wings came out and were flapping automatically lifting them slowly into the sky.

“Now release the your fingers”, Josh shouted.

Suddenly they gained speed and were moving up into the sky faster.

“Fold you fist softly”, Josh said

Then the wings stopped going upwards and stood still on air but still kept flapping.

“The view is awesome”, Melvin shouted laughing out.

“Now you guys should watch me and learn”, Josh said

“Learn what we just got this machines”, Kane said

Josh stretched his hands sideways and immediately the wings retracted and he was dropping down from the sky.

“Can you do this?”, He shouted as he was nose diving back to the earth.

He pulled the strings back and the wings came out and were flapping he balanced him self horizontally and he was flying so fast.

“That dude is a risk taker”, Kane said

Josh flew past them and was heading up into the sky.

“Josh what if the strings loosens finish”, Dominion shouted

“Simple i will just fold both fist and hold that position for a long period of time and it recoils and i keep flying” Josh shouted as the wings retracted and he was going down again.

“This looks fun”, Melvin shouted as he began flying around so fast as the others joined them.

They were flying like experts, holding down the strings and releasing.

“Now to dive like a bird is this way hold all strings down”, Dominion said as he did the dive and was going down faster than a nose diving. They all did this and result was sweet for them.

“Now time for landing”, Josh said as he was reaching the earth he straighten his legs and once near he retracted the wings and landed.

“It is time”, He said as his friends landed.

“Everyone touch your chest and say war”, Josh said

“War”, They shouted as their clothes transformed into blood red.

“Cool”, Melvin said “How did that happen?”

“I granted it”, Josh said

“Guys it is time to kick some butts”, Dominion said

“We cannot go to sagoe it is occupied by the dark King”, Ranob said

“I saw large smoke coming from within the forest at the river bank”, Kane said.

Immediately they flew up to check and saw it was true, luckily they had seen it for it was night.

“Could be the dark king army camp”, Melvin said

“True”, Ranob said

“If so we take down the camp first thing in morning in power ups mode”, Josh said

“Prepare for battle”, Melvin shouted.

“I want you guys to go separate place, so we can practice in full power, we meet with the single flyer near the crow” Josh said

“Agreed”, They said flying to various destination, to practice full power.

“Dark king here i cone”, Josh said as he folded his legs meditating
