Episode 17
(We got home, i came down from the car, we all rushed in,side, Mrs Amanda came out and was surprise why i was putting on another cloth, she rushed,and was asking me if everything was fine, I did not reply, I only asked her where is Yvonne, all that was important to me was to make sure Yvonne was ok.
Me : Where is Yvonne?
Mrs Amanda : She is in her room, what is wrong?
*instead of replying her question, I rushed upstairs to know if she is ok, I pushed the door, she was sleeping but i wanted to make sure she’s really sleeping.
Me : (walked to the bed and tapped her) Baby, Baby
(She shake her body and finally opened her eyes.
Oh, thank God.
Yvonne : (yawn) Baby, You are back
(heart was beating so fast, she noticed)
What is wrong, what happened?
Me : I was attacked.
Yvonne : Again?… Hope nothing happened to you?
Me : Not at all, the police caught them, exactly the people who shot me, am sure they will confess who sent them soon.
Yvonne : Wow, Seriously, it’s good news, you should be happy baby
Me : Happy?? They might been caught but the enemy is still gonna put up another plan, let’s hope they confess, how did they even know i was going out?
Yvonne : Am just confused o
*she looked at the cloth i was putting on*
What happened to your own clothes and who owns this one you are putting on.
Me : It’s part of how i survived today.
Yvonne : Did you still meet the people you said you want to meet?
Me : Yeah, they will be here tomorrow.
Yvonne : Alright…
(Kingsley sent me a text that he wants to go and return the cab, which i accept, I thanked him for everything he’s done… In the evening i also meet tunde at the visitor’s room, he also told me he would also like to go to his house in iyana-ipaja so that he can start his normal job.
Me : Tunde please you have to quit and return that bus to the owner, I need you here ok?
Tunde : Hmmm, make all the rent and property waste like that abi?
Me : You can still sell it out, but you have to stay here please.
Tunde : Ok, I don hear you sha… I go return am tomorrow sha.
(We both laugh that day, Yvonne came to look for me in the sitting room, she saw me laughing with tunde, she smiled and asked us what’s making us happy…
Me : Nothing o, we remembered our past, when tunde was the gate man.
Yvonne : (laughed) O.m.g baby you are not ok.
Tunde : You no well, na me you dey take play abi? You no tell Yvonne say na me for date am abi?
Yvonne : Like seriously?? How
Me : Don’t mind him, in Sara’s house back then, he told me he was giving you eye, but you never noticed him.
Yvonne : (laughing) both of you are funny.
(We all laughed again and again… Till we got tired, we came sitting at the parlor, tunde was pouring out jokes, while we all laugh, we waited for so long, no reports from the police, Yvonne called the D.P.O, but they told us the assassins refused to confess, but they promise to interrogate them and bring us good reports…
Mrs Amanda served food that night, me and Yvonne ate together, took our bath before going to bed. The next day tunde left so early, because he was trying to beat holdup… I gave him some cash, he promised to be back, I also gave him money to get a cool phone, he left while i and Yvonne stayed at our room, because of the look of things we were suspended to go out of the compound by the police. I was only expecting the guys that promised to visit us, that morning Kingsley also called me and asked if i need help, but i told him I’ll let him know if i need one, immediately dropping Kingsley’s call, a strange number called me again, I showed Yvonne, she said i should pick.
Me : Hello
*it was the same strange voice*
Caller : Hello, Mr Nicholas, you think you’re wise by handing my men over to the police, but listen to this voice.
*he handed it over to someone at the other end* the person only said, Nick please help me. The voice sounds like tunde voice.
Caller : Tell the police to release my two men or you lose your friend.
Me : Son of a b*tch… What do you want from me.
Caller : bye mr Nick *he hanged up*
Yvonne : Who was that?
Me : They have tunde.
Yvonne : What!!!??

Episode 18
(I wondered who is behind all this, I am confused… Not quite long, the report came to me that the boys are here, I tried to make the plans secretly so that the main people in the building won’t know what is going on, now the person behind all this is with tunde, only God knows what the fools will be doing to him over there, I don’t even think if it is Yvonne’s Uncles. Anyway, time will tell…
I came down from the bed to go and meet the visitors, Yvonne followed me, we got down stairs, at the parlor, when they saw me they started hailing me.
*Tuale, baba*
*Oh’boy… Oga nick you no tell us say you don blow like this o
*No wonder you leave us for area*
*Omo see haus
*finally, Baba na your wife be this?
(I just smiled at them, I answered the ones i was able to answer. And leave the rest.)
Mrs Amanda served them beers as they drink and enjoyed their self, when they were through, we all walked to the garden to talk about the issues on ground.
The names of the guys are –
*Olamide *Dan *South and *jimoh
South was their boss, as we got to the garden, we make sure nobody was there before i start telling them how i want them to put eye on everyone in the building, I know Yvonne was not cool with my plans, but she accepted, she had no options, I told them to follow up everyone gently and know what they are up to.
South : Oga Nick, if you want make we dey do all this one wey you talk ehh, we no go fit stay for this house o.
Me : Why?
South : Because the peson wey say na hin dey do this one so eh, go quick know wetin we plan, but if we dey outside we go fit dey communicate well.
Yvonne : Baby, he is right… But the problem is were they can stay.
Olamide : we fit rent house for outside nau.
Me : Ok, we should rent a room apartment for the main time.
South : or make we do am like this, two people go dey for this compound, while me and one peson go dey outside dey watch any bad movement.
Me : Yeah, Cool mr south, its better that way.
Jimoh : Oga nick where tunde nau, we never see am since o
Dan : Na true o
Me : (Deep breathe) The person behind all this captured him on his way back this morning, they demand their men to be released before anything.
All : *Shocked*
South : Oga nick na hin you dey here dey waste time since.
Me : South, Am confused right now, I don’t know what to do.
South : No worry, we go stay tight sha
Yvonne : Why don’t you call Kingsley to help us with the house.
Me : You are right
(I called Kingsley immediately, I told him of the house, he told me he will accommodate them, that he’s got one empty room in his late brother’s house. I thanked him and told the guys that there is an empty room for them already, they were happy.
South said, It’s only him and jimoh that will stay outside the building, so that they can spy against who is going out, while Dan and Olamide will be in,side the building, to watch over and spy against the in,siders, Yvonne gave them 50,000n for there feeding and promise to give them more in one week time, they greeted her, we did this secretly without anybody knowing what we’ve planned so far. Yvonne phone rings interrupts our discussion that moment.
It’s from the police D.P.O
Yvonne : Hello Mr D.P.O
D.P.O : Mrs Yvonne, It’s about the assassins.
Yvonne : What happened to them.
D.P.O : They tried to escape, and we shot one to death and the other one was shot in the shoulder. Am sorry he might not make it, they also killed two of my men.
Yvonne : What??? (Hanged the call)
Me : What is it Yvonne??
Yvonne : The police killed the assassins already.
Me : What? Why would they do such?
South : Chai, Olopa ti baje paata paata o (police have spoil finish o)
Me : We are in big trouble since tunde is still with them, they will kill him if they find out their men are dead. Yvonne please call the police, tell them not to expose it. Tell them the assassins have my friend and if they eventually know, then he is dead.
Yvonne called the D.P.O immediately and told him everything i said,
The D.P.O reply was that one of the assassin confessed before he died,
(She put it on loud speaker)
Yvonne : So who is behind all this?
D.P.O : One Mrs Rebecca
*Everybody was shocked* Whattt?? Yvonne scre-med.
South and the three was busy asking.
“Who be Rebecca” but i kept mute. Have not even seen Rebecca since the morning i met Mrs Amanda talking with her.
WHERE IS REBECCA???
