Episode 7
(I packed all of my belongings, when i was packing i saw 10k in,side my bag… Hmm, I never knew i have this kind of money o, I took my bath, dress my self, spray my perfume… Wow, Nick was looking good, someone would even think i know where i was going… When i was ready to move i said my prayers. Look at my room once more and said to it.
“Dear room, am really gonna miss you” *Breath in* and walk out of my room with my traveling bag.
As i got to the sitting room, Yvonne and Sara were busy chatting with there so-called maga, Sara noticed me, she saw me with my bags.
Sara : Nick, where are you going to?
(Yvonne looked back, but i kept my head straight)
Answer me nick please.
Yvonne : Nick what’s the meaning of this? You going insane or what? (she rushed to drag my bag from me)
Me : (Angrily) Don’t you dare touch me…(*To both of them) you girls think you can run my life, I stayed here for so many years without seeing my families, but instead of making me feel relaxed, you made me see hell, now am leaving you girls for good… Yvonne you slapped me just because of something i know nothing about, Hmmm, interesting… Clap for your self.
*this time both of them started crying, but i was not moved* stay and enjoy your self’s, your tears won’t move me, you don’t need me here.
Yvonne :*crying* Nick am truly sorry,please don’t go yet. Please stay with us.
Sara : *crying* let him go.. He’s mind is already made up… Nick but forgive us… At least just wait till mum is back.
Me : Call her, inform her am out.
(I dragged my bag and rushed out of the sitting room with Yvonne crying and following me, Sara was standing looking at me, but Yvonne followed till i got in front of the gate… Did you noticed this girls never noticed the absent of tunde? Yvonne was still begging me, passerby was looking at us, I was pushed to go back but i can’t. I was still there thinking of where to start from. While she ran back in,side, she came back with the Iphone 6 pack and gave it to me, she was begging.
Yvonne : Please don’t go Nick, I promise to make it up to you, I don’t know what came over me… I was not happy since the day you reject my present to you.. I feel rejected once again after my ex rejected me… I am so sorry, take this phone from me.
Me : *i pitied her and collect the phone from her* Its ok, but i have to go.. I can’t make it here.
Yvonne : I understand dear, *she hugged me and whisper into my ear* I LOVE YOU NICK
(I was surprise Yvonne could ever love me, hmmm, I said ok to her. And she told me she ins**ted sim card in,side the phone, she also gave me 30k, I was wondering were this girl got all this money from, but I never care to ask… I on the phone and thank her… She promised to give me a call, she walked back to the gate and wave to me. I moved and was thinking were to start from… I was still walking when i heard the horn of a bus coming, I stopped, as i look in,side, it was tunde.
Tunde : Hey!!! My guy… Chai… Kilode nau, wetin happen?
*i was looking at him not knowing if to start punching him or ignore him… He was so annoying this time, he was trying to know where i was going to at this point of time.*
My guy answer me nau.
Me : Tunde what happen to you? You left me here and i saw hell..
Tunde : Nicholas No be so o, enter motor, I go gist you but first make we go our new house.
*he carried my bag in,side the bus and i entered in front, he drove and he starts telling me our he suffered to look for the house, how he furnished it, how he nearly got robbed and that’s what kept him over the weeks he spent, he said the guy gave him the bus today that’s why he intend to come back and he is sorry. I told him my own part of the story, how Yvonne slapped me and while i was leaving she cried till are eyes was ready to pull off. She also gave me an iphone 6 with 30k and told me she love me.
Tunde laughed as he drives, I was cool once again, I am out of my madam house.
I now have my home, an iPhone 6 the most of it all Yvonne says he love me, so this girl was acting out of jealousy or rejection.
She never act as if she loves me tho, I never saw that coming I swear.
Tunde drives for Hours because of lagos holdup… Until we finally got to our destination, I came down from the car. The house was on a busy street..
It has shops in front of it, beer parlor and barbing salon… The area is not bad, a guy came out of the compound and coming towards us.
Tunde : Hey, Kelvin how you dey nau * they both chop knuckle*
Kelvin : Am cool man, who is this dude right here
*it’s this guy referring to me*
Tunde : This is Nick my brother from different mother, Nick this is Kelvin our landlord son
Kelvin : Whatsap Niggur?
*Oh now, i see this guy is sick*
Me : *i managed to smile and check him * Am good kelvin, thank you
Tunde have make friends so soon, I carried my bag as we walked in,side the compound, we all laugh to the boring story kelvin was telling us.
Hmm the compound ain’t bad
tho, kelvin later leave us as he was through speaking like what i don’t know,tunde opened the door and behold, he painted the room, it was big.
Both the bathroom and the kitchen is excellent, I never knew tunde likes good thing, he bought flat screen tv, video games and one big cool bed.
Mehn i love it… Tunde is a friend indeed… Thanks for having him around, tunde prepared noodles, we ate together until my phone rings.

(I was with tunde in the room, untill my phone rings, I looked at the screen of my phone, she have even stored her number, so fast? I picked her call.
Me : Hello
Yvonne : Yes dear, how are you?
Me : Am good, you?
Yvonne : Am not fine, you just left us like that and you never told us tunde is out already.
Me : Am sorry but you never asked me tho.
Yvonne : Anyway we’ve replaced tunde with someone else, we also called Sara mum.
Me : Hmmm, When is she coming back and hope you told her am out already?
Yvonne : Yeah, we did.. But she said nothing. She only told us she will be back next week.
Me : Ok… How is sara?
Yvonne : she is sleeping, Nick please am so sorry… Where are you right now, am worried o.
Me : Am fine here.
Yvonne : Can you give me your home address?
Me : Not yet, I just came here… Maybe later.
Yvonne : Ok, Hope you have a bank account, or go and open one, when you are done… send me your account number, ok?
Me : No problem… Thank you Yvonne
Yvonne : Don’t thank me dear, am sorry for pushing you so hærd… Am regretting it right now. I just have to see you.
Me : You will, first thing tomorrow,I’ll open a bank account. Meanwhile i need to rest.
Yvonne : Alright dear, I’ll call you back later then. Bye
Me : Ok, bye
*I dropped the call*
Tunde : That girl really dey sorry o
Me : Na her business be that sha.
Tunde : She wan send you money shey?
Me : Ehn… She say make i open account o, but i no know where that girl dey see money, imagine girl wey dash peson iphone 6.
Tunde : O’boy no miss this fresh meat o… She like you scarra, hold am tight o… Maybe she get peson wey she dey shop sha… But na you she dey fall for.
Me : Peson wey i no even know her background.
Tunde : Carry am go one bar nau, from there ask am about her background, no fall my hand guy o, we get work to do tomorrow sha.
Me : Hmmmm… No wohala sha
(We engaged ourselves in different conversation. until we got tired, I slept off… Around 5pm i was up… I saw five missed calls from Yvonne, *This girl self, I taya for you o* I stood up, tunde was already out of the room, I went straight to the bathroom, I took my bath and wore my long white polo… I was fresh than ever.
I walked outside the room… I saw tunde talking with kelvin and a girl was also with them, Kelvin sighted me and wave at me, Tunde called me to join them, I got downstairs to meet them. I greeted them… And sat behind tunde, kelvin introduced me to the girl.
Kelvin : Nick this is Natasha, Natasha is a friend of mine, Natasha meet Nick, our new guy in the building
Natasha : welcome Nick… Nice meeting you
Me : (smiled) Me too… We both shake hands, So guys what’s happening here… Let’s have something on the table.
We all walked outside our building, move to the beer parlor where we got a sit and a round table… They served us beers, while Natasha requested for chicken pepper soup… We all gist, laugh.m. we had fun… Through out my stay with them, I noticed natasha looking at me me and smiling… “She is not serious” I spent like 15k, *Abeg make una no chop me o,I gat to enjoy myself, at least am no more in bondage*
Natasha took my phone from the table while i was talking with kelvin and tunde,After little while my phone rang, natasha gave the phone to, it was Yvonne again.. I picked, she told me she wants to check on me. We talk for a long while, Natasha was still looking at me..m After dropping the call, we stayed outside till it was 10pm, I told them i was going in, they told me they will be in later, I got in,side and immediately someone knocked on the door, without knowing who it was, Come in.
The person came in and it was Natasha.
Me : *shocked* Natasha, what are you doing here?
Natasha : Are you surprise seeing me in your room uninvited?
Me : No, at least, you should be with kelvin out there.
Natasha : Are you gonna welcome me in and stop acting like a kid.
*Kid kwa? You still dey lean sha*
Me : Come in sha (she came in) so what did you tell kelvin?
Natasha : Hmmm, I only told him i wanna come and pee… but what is with you and kelvin? Or you think am dating kelvin.. The last time i checked, he told you i was his friend.
Me : I never asked if he was dating you
Natasha : Anyways, I’ll be inviting you on a friend’s birthday party this coming sunday and it’s gonna be fun, hope you will come?
Me : I don’t think so, I’ll be busy for the week
Natasha : I won’t take that for an answer, am sure you will come tho, the party will start by 5pm, I have your number already tho. Good night dear
*she left while i opened my mouth wide,this natasha must be a crook o, so it was my number she collect while she was with my phone?
I played video games that night till i got a msg from Yvonne… I read
“Hello dear, please i need to see you very urgent this coming saturday by 5pm, please don’t say no.. I’ll text you the venue soon, thanks… Sweet dreams
Me : *To my self* what does this girls wants from me self, natasha invites me for a party, yvonne said she wants to meet me very urgenrt, nah dem sabi sha.
I dropped my phone and slept off… The drink was having effect on me tho
*Yvonne and natasha wants to meet me on the same date and time, which one will i accept?
*Anyway, work starts tomorrow… Till then
