THE LOST DIARY
(HE DECEIVED ME)

EPISODE 16
 
Sandra’s countenance suddenly changed from bad to worse.
She looked at the phone and calmly asked.
 
“Jeffrey what is it?”
 
“High dear, I know you must really be upset with me. I never knew what came over me, please give me another chance to right my wrong.”
The Jeffrey of a guy said pleading through the phone.
 
She sighed and rolled her eyes but remained quiet for a while as if contemplating on something.
 
” Taking her silence for acceptance, he pressed on, with the issue.
 
“I’m very sorry dear, it wasn’t like I did it all for a purpose, just that I lost contract of a huge amount that very day I was do upset that everyone near me had a taste of my frustration and everything I said and acted that day I never meant it.”
He said.
 
And that was really the height of it, as she seemed to be placed on a time bomb 💣, on the point of explosion 💥.
 
” You see the problem? All the time your business, money, contracts and all comes first to you before me. At the end you would keep on apologizing on a particular issue to be frank, I can’t continue with the relationsh¡p. Like you said last week there are other beautiful and well mannered girls around the globe that you can get just with the flick of your hands, do go find one yourself.”
She said.
 
There was a long silence, as if it was a war of nerves.
 
” I want to ask you one question.”
He requested.
 
” Yes go on.”
She said a kind of rudely.
 
” Is there any guy in your life now? I mean are you in a relationsh¡p now?”
He requested.
 
She chuckled as she answered the question.
 
“Why asking?”
She queried.
 
“I just wanna know where I stand now with you.”
He said.
 
“And what if I say yes?”
She replied.
 
“Then I sure would look out for the bastard who tried to usurp my position, and deal with him so badly that he would have himself to blame.”
He said in a threatening voice.
 
Sandra laughed loudly as tears filled her eyes due to the impact of the laugh.
 
” Well if you are to know, I really got a sweet darling, who sure is ever ready to stand by me in all odds.”
She said.
 
” We shall see about that. You are mine and no one has any right to take you away from me, until I say I’m tired of you.”
He said fuming in anger.
 
” What insolence!! Your pride would be your downfall.”
She said.
 
” We would see about that. But always know I don’t threaten, I make a promise.”
He said and put an end to the call.
 
She sighed in frustration, as she sat down on her bed with her hand supporting her chin.
 
Jeffrey was her ex, the son of the ambassador to France. She loved him but his pride and over business minded attitude of his had really been a stumbling block and with this attitude of always comparing her with other ladies had really made her to get fed up of the wh0le affair.
 
“Well I can’t waste my time with the past, I think I got to move forward.”
 
Making light of his threat as she settled down for a V shaped, blue blouse 👚 and black mini skirt and a two inch high heeled 👠 shoe and a blue purse 👛 to match.
 
She was planning for an outing with her friend Lola to discuss more on their problems over a meal.
 
 
Stanley and Steve were in Stanley’s room as they listened to the conversation between the duo, with a rapt attention.
 
They both sat down as they were busy assimilating, what they just heard.
 
As Steve gave him the look of are you sure you can do this?
 
“Guy you sure say you suppose go for this girl? Getting in the way of the rich can be disastrous and dangerous.”
Steve said and Stanley nodded in agreement as he really agreed with him.
 
He was about to reply him, when another call came in into Sandra’s phone and they sat up to hear what next would occur.
 
” Hi babe.”
A feminine voice resounded and Stanley a kind of found it familiar, but he couldn’t pick where it came from, so he discarded it into the thin air.
 
“Hope you are getting ready?”
Sandra asked.
 
“Yea, remember, 2pm prompt at Our People’s Pride eatery.”
The other female replied.
 
“OK see you there sweetheart.”
Sandra said and ended the call.
 
Stanley quickly sprang from his seat as he turned to Steve.
 
“Guy come and excited me, so I can go to that popular unis€× 🚻 boutique and, I want to buy a new set of suit for tomorrow.”
Stanley said half dragging Steve.
