Jamal’s mom came to sat with everyone at the dinning, Everyone was on thier seats, Jamal, Rokanmi, David and Daniel, Tomiwa except for Niniola, Jamal’s mom joined them everyone gretted her so also Jamal muttered a good morning to her, Jamal’s mom was putting on a long wine dinner gown with a black heels, she sat down to eat while Bunmi move closer to her, by mistake Bunmi dropped a spoon, while Jamal’s mom almost slapped her but she move back (Everyone was staring at the same time a little bit scared except for Jamal)
Jamal’s mom: Have you been cursed or what, huh! How dare you to let that spoon fell down just like that, do you know how much it cost, do you realize that this spoon will surely save your life if you are in need of money,(Bunmi was like Ha! Just a spoon?) yes I said it this spoon will save your life if you are to sell it, And you just choose to throw it awa… (She was cut short when she saw Niniola coming putting on the same gown she was putting on, same shoes, same jewelries, just that Jamal’s mom hair is artificial (Wavon)While Niniola’s hair is her own natural hair, For even seeing her natural hair, Jamal’s mom was full of jealous and for wearing the same outfit like hers, Jamal’s mom almost move closer to her to eat her up, Niniola move closer to the dinning, she greeted everyone politely including Jamal’s mom, but she ignored her and said)
Jamal’s mom:You know that you are trespassing
Niniola:(Acting like she is unaware of what she was saying)How ma?
Jamal’s mom: Jamal you can see your wife having the same guts to ordered the same dress as mine and I believe that you intentionally ordered them for her because there is no way she will see this type of dress here
Niniola: With all due respect ma, do you realize that I and you are both wearing the same dress like someone also, because am sure someone must be somewhere wearing this dress right now, so ma’am, it’s not meant for you alone, Bunmi can you please serve me(Jamal’s mom hit her spoon on the plates angrilly everyone was shock, Niniola smile, Bunmi was serving Niniola, suddenly Niniola gave Bunmi some sign to let the food fall down from her, Bunmi did as Niniola said,the food fell from her while the plate broke, Jamal’s mom stood up at once and shouted pointing at Bummi who seems a bit far from her)
Jamal’s mom:Ha Bunmi you are a bastard, do you wish to spoil everything in this house ni, are you mad or something?
Bunmi: Sorry ma
Niniola: hello Bunmi, why the sorry, answer me why the sorry, it wasn’t intentional, the plate only flip, look at me Bunmi no one is above mistake ok, no one is perfect, this is my food on the floor and am ok with that you can just tell your girls to clean it up and get me another food please, so stop shaking like that of a leaf on the water, We are not God and we can’t judge you, so can I have the same type of food again?
Bunmi:Yes ma(Jamal’s mom shoulders dropped down immediately, Everyone was looking at her except for Jamal whose head was down staring at his plate, Jamal’s mom sat down back,Niniola said to Bunmi)
Niniola:Bunmi pass me the pot of stew my husband needs more stew
Bunmi:Don’t worry ma I will do that ma
Niniola:Oh common Bunmi, not all the time the maid or an househelp have to take care of your husband or even your kids, sometimes show them you love them and they mean everything to you, I am just telling you this incase you get marry, just find time for your family that’s all am trying to say
Bunmi:(Smile)Ok ma, Thank you for the advice ma
Niniola:You are welcome dear (Niniola served Jamal, he seems to be in a very bad mood, maybe it was his discussion with Niniola last night or his mom’s attitude,he also can’t tell, Jamal’s mom feel jealous the way Niniola was treating Jamal throughout the dinning but she couldn’t say anything, she was only watching them, the way she touched his face, the way she asked if he is ok, Even though Jamal’s mom noticed his mood but she ignored him, but she was full of more jealous the way Niniola changed his mood suddenly and he put out a smile, Jamal’s mom had no choice but to left the dinning immediately, the Moment she left, David, Daniel, tomiwa and Rokanmi whose hearts has been racing awhile ago stopped at once, it seems like they have been keeping thier breathing,the moment she left they all breath out….
Jamal, Rokanmi, David and Daniel are discussing in his compound
Rokanmi:For your information guys I think, I think cause am not sure yet, I think I will be proposing to my fiancee next month
All: Wow! Congrats bro
Daniel: Infact I developed goosebumps straight away
David: Infact me too, That word proposal lasan, E dey hot for body
Daniel:Boss I happy for… (Suddenly Tomiwa came out of the house she seems to be going somewhere, she said hi to them and winked at Daniel, they all said Wow?)
Jamal:Wait what was that, did she just winked at you Daniel?
Daniel:Of course not to me, She did that to us
Rokanmi:To awon wo (To who)Mr Man don’t feed us that, we can do that by ourselves, that girl winked to you personally not to us
David:Daniel is crazy, he can lie to the extent that you will be drooling, someone winked at you and everyone saw her and you are still denying it, See Boss make i break it down for you, Daniel and that girl is dating
Jamal:What? (Laughing)
Daniel: Is that all you want to say?Ok what about you that is dating Bunmi even before Niniola came in to this house
Jamal:Yeeee! Oluwa ooo(God) In my house?You these guys are really doing something behind my ba….(Jamal’s mom came out, she entered into her car and her driver drove out of the compound)
Rokanmi: Nowadays there is something missing in your mom, That girl Niniola she don cook your mom so soft, na everyday she dey wear the same clothe like your mom, Na everyday we dey get tension for dinning table, I swear she don make your mom soft
David: Actually I was just thinking of something, if anyone should be in both Niniola and Boss’s Mom’s trap,I mean someone should offend both of them, please what will happen to that person please?
Daniel&Rokanmi:Haaaaaaa,yeeeeeeeh
Rokanmi:That’s the end ni, Ere pari (They all bursted into laughing)
Daniel: Boss is really lucky to have an IRON WOMAN as a wife and as a Mom, consider yourself safe at all time
Rokanmi:How far about that issue?
Jamal:She is still insisting to go, and she is leaving in a week and some days now
Rokanmi:I think you should take it slowly with her, believe me that girl loves you, I can see that in her,she is only scared,all you have to do is to take it gently with her am sure she will accept you later…
At the dinning, everyone are all on thier seats, Except for Niniola, She later joined them but she was putting on just a white trouser, a white shoe and a yellow top with a yellow bandana on her hair, she was not putting on any make up, it was her first time she will be wearing that ever since she came to the house,she only put on gowns, Everyone was staring at her including Jamal’s mom, Niniola has been competing with her with the issue of dresses for complete two weeks but she decided to wear something different that morning, She sat down beside Jamal while Jamal said
Jamal:You are beautiful
All:Wowwww! (Except for Jamal’s mom)
Niniola:Awwwwn, am blushing, thanks love (Bunmi served Niniola while she was serving her Niniola gave her some sign to ask Jamal’s mom if she will need more soup)
Bunmi:Do you need more soup ma?
Jamal’s mom: Of course I do(As Bunmi was serving her Niniola gave her another sign to dropped her food down, Bunmi did exactly as Niniola said, this time around a little bit of the food poured on Jamal’s mom dress, everyone was shocked and they were all ready to watch what will happen)
Bunmi:Am sorry ma, I never mean to do that ma, I am really sorry ma ,please ma
Jamal’s mom:Bunmi?
Bunmi:Ma(Faking some fearful face)
Jamal’s mom:It’s ok(Everyone was shocked)It’s ok am fine just follow me to help me with the dress, It’s s mistake ok, don’t worry about that (She left the dinning while Bunmi followed her everyone was speechless and shock at the same time)
Jamal and Niniola was alone at the dinning, Niniola was serving him his food, she was the one who cooked the food for him, she had prepared him a vegetable soup which was nourished by some crayfish, kpomo,and some assorted beefs, she prepared him some yam flour to break it all down, Jamal was just busy staring at her, he said
Jamal:You are leaving next week?
Niniola:Of course yes, hope no problem?
Jamal:Not at all, I just want to appreciate you for everything, I am really greatful, you have really done a lot of things in my life, atleast some things that I have been longing for you make it easier for me, But all these caring and love I don’t think it is necessary again
Niniola:What do you mean?
Jamal: The person you are trying to show it off to is not ready to change, She is not ready to turn a new leaf(Jamal’s mom was coming out,she was going to an outing but the moment she heard Jamal speaking she stopped to listen to his conversation with Niniola)Even though you showed me all these love Niniola, even though my dad really took a lot of care for me, even though he sacrificed everything for me, Niniola even though you changed a lot of things in me and you gave me what I had requested from you, There is still one thing that I need, there is that thing that can make me feel a lot better but I was unable to have it, My mother’s love,(Tears dropped down on his face, while Jamal’s mom was shocked) I want her love and I want her caring, i… Is that too much to give to me?
Niniola: Jamal
Jamal:No, I just want to know, am I asking for too much? Just my mother’s love, I did everything Niniola, I gave her everything she need, hoping that she will have a change of mind one day and turn a new leaf, but all was in vain, I was never her first priority,(Tears dropping down on Jamal’s mom face) Even if she turns a new leaf today, I don’t think I will ever forgive her
Niniola: Jamal please stop saying that
Jamal: Niniola I have waited a lot for her, I have… (His mom came out crying, he said)It’s really good that you are here, Actually I don’t know why you brought me to this world, since you knew that you can take care of me, why do you brought me to this world, the only one that stood for me, that took care of me left this world just because of you, The day he died you were not in the country, you went for a trip right? That man died in my two hands,he left this world because of depression, too much of thinking, that is exactly how the doctor confirmed it, sometimes I will caught my dad holding your pictures crying bitterly just for you to turn a new leaf and be a good wife to him, that man craved for your love Mum, He waited for you till he died, I was told that the moment I clocked a year old that was when you had dropped me for my dad and those who took care of me, just tell me what do I know then, I got sick when I was young, I cried for my mom, but my dad will be the one to do everything for me, but when that man left this world, I was alone and I was shattered, all alone I had to stood up on my feet again, Mom I want you so badly to support me then,but you never for once think about how I feel,you never care about me,but why,why Mom?
Jamal’s mom:(crying bitterly)I am so…
Jamal:NO! (He yelled out)No mom, no, no,nooooo,don’t you ever say that word, your time is up, the time I gave you is up, mom I waited for complete 27 years , 27 years mum, 27 years, Ha! I longed for you, I craved for you, I waited for you, alone in cold and in hot, but you never show up, Believe me I Jamal olamilekan will never forgive you and I hate you Mom!(He grabbed his car key to run out)
Jamal’s mom:Ehhhh! Am finished help me beg him,help me oo, Niniola please save me (Niniola ran towards him, holding him)
Niniola:Jamal please
Jamal: Niniola please (David, Daniel, Rokanmi, Bunmi and Tomiwa ran in) Niniola just leave me alone, I just want to be alone for now
David:Boss I will follow you
Jamal:I don’t want anyone to follow me
Niniola: Jamal I insist that someone should follow you please (He removed his hand from her hand and went out, While Rokanmi and Daniel followed him)
Jamal’s mom:(Holding Niniola) Niniola please, haaaaa! Temi bami, am finished, am finished ooooo, Help me to talk to him, someone should follow him oooo
Niniola:Just calm down ma, everything will surely be sort out, just go in,side for now, David and Bunmi please assist mum to her room for now, mum just calm down please
Jamal’s mom:I am sorry ooooo, yeeeeeh, I am sorry, am finished, am finished (She continue shouting am finished till David and Bunmi assisted her in,side her room, suddenly Niniola was feeling dizzy all of a sudden, she almost fell down but was supported by Tomiwa)
Tomiwa: Niniola are you ok, what did you eat?
Niniola:I… I don’t eat anything, I am just feeling dizzy and I feel like vomiti….. (Suddenly she ran in,side the toilet that was near the living room to vomit)
