💭Mitchell POV 💭
“This look so unreal!” He said still starring at the door
“Yes its so unreal,it happened to me too,Made me look and think like a fool but its the truth,There is another world which isn’t yours” I said
“There is” he said lamely
“And now that youve seen it and door has been open,Its time for me to go back” I said heading for the door
“Mitchell! Where are you going?” He asked suddenly
“To my world of course,If you want to see the real Mitchell and have the real Mitchell back,Have got to leave” I said
“But you just can’t leave?” He yelled as he held me back
“I have to,This place isn’t my world,I also have family of my own who will be looking for me” I said
“But……”
“Enough okay, It was good while it last but its time I return or else you want to come with me,Which I doubt” I said and jerking off my hand I walked swiftly to the door and walked in to it without looking back
Its for the best,It was good while it last but it has got to stop.
I opened my eyes only to find myself in the museum once again
The room itself looked clean and better,It wasn’t the way I had left it when I opened the book
“Where is this place?” On hearing his voice behind me,I gasped and turned only to find him standing behind me
“My God,why are you here?” I asked
“I followed you of course and that’s only because you invited me” He said
“You shouldn’t have come, Go back Luis,You don’t belong here” I said pushing him back but he turned me towards the door
“Its gone,Except we open the book again and I doubt of its here at all” He said looking around
“They would have taken it out for display” I said
“Why? That book is some sort of danger? Why would they display it”
“This is a museum your Majesty and right now a lot of people have come to see the great forbidden book and so it would be placed outside” I said as I moved away from him
“Oh so that’s it” He said walking around the room
“So tell me why were you in a Museum when you opened the book?”
“I was trying to fend for myself and if I was ever in this room,Its because I was cleaning it” I said and saw the look on his face
“You see in this world Am not the daughter of a minister and as rich as your Mitchell,Am just a poor maid who work to fend for myself” I said
“A Maid?”
“Apart from it being a very dirty and degrading job,Its also a job that suits me” I said starring at him
“Am nothing here and since youve followed me here,You are also nothing too,Your king status wouldn’t work here at all ” I said
“I doubt that” He said gently
“Its the truth,It wouldn’t work,So I suggest that you stick around the museum and wait until the book have been kept, Then you open and return to your world,That’s the least I can do for you,So now I say goodbye” I said heading out but his hand holding mine stopped me
“But you can’t leave me alone,I came here with you and its only you I know and I won’t leave you alone” He said and seeing the intent on his face,I let him follow me
We got into the midst of the people in the museum and I began to walk off,I was conscious of the way Luis held my hand tightly.
As soon as we got outside,I pulled free
“Welcome to my world” I said and saw him stare around
“You like what you see right?” I said starring at him
“What are those?” He said pointing to the tall buildings
“They are buildings,Tall and beautiful right” I said and he held my hand again
“Have never seen something so high,It terrifies me” He said moving me close to me and I couldn’t resist laughing
“Don’t tell me you are scared” I asked
“Who wouldn’t be? We don’t have that sort of building back in my world,Its so tall and imposing,I wouldn’t want to be in it” He said again
“Mitch! Is that really you” Tom Sandra boyfriend said as he walked towards me
“Tom” I said withdrawing my hand from Luis hold and immediately Tom got to us,He pulled me in a hug
“Sandra and I have been so worried? Where the hell have you been?” He said putting his arm around me
“Somewhere”I said and he k-ssed my forehead
” Thank God your alright,Sandra and I felt guilty,We thought you left because of the work load”He said once again wrapping his around me
I heard Luis cough behind me and I turned to stare at him
“Who is he?” He mouthed at me but I didn’t answer him
“You guys shouldn’t be worried,I went on a sort of journey and am back for good,Tell Sandra I will come see her but first I have to see my family” I said
“Okay darling,Take care of yourself” He said and k-ssed my head before walking off
“Who is that?” Luis asked
“My lover” I said to spite him
“You have a lover here and you let me k-ss you back in my world”
“That’s because you wouldn’t take no for an answer and besides Tom is not the jealous type” I said
“But I am” He said
“Look I think its time you go,Its been fun knowing your Majesty but its time it ends,Go back to the museum” I said
“Never” He said
“Fine then,Survive on your own” I said and Began to walk off
“Your not going to leave me behind,Am coming with you whether you like it or not” He said and held my hand
I sighed heavily and stared at him,I thought I will finally be rid of him for good but he just had to follow me here,I thought angrily
We were walking down the streets heading for the bus station when I saw that we were being looked at by a girls most especially, What could they be staring at, I thought
I followed their gaze and saw that they were starring at Luis
“He is so handsome”
“Where did he come from?”
“Wish he could be mine”
I stared at Luis and saw that he wasn’t starring at anyone of them
“Seems like all these girls are falling for you” I said
“Why won’t they? After all am good looking” He said and intentionally gave a girl a smile
I quickly pulled him till we got to the bus station
“Don’t tell me that we will be using the bus” He asked
“Its the only means to get to my home” I said
“Get a taxi,Am a king for crying out loud,Have never been in a bus”He said
” well there is a first time for everything “I said and walked into the bus
He had no choice than to come with me
The bus was full and we had to stand along with some passengers who were standing already
I saw a girl starring at Luis and Luis was starring back
She stood up from her seat and said” You can have my seat”
“Okay thanks” Luis said without bothering to refuse the offer
He stared up at me and asked me to seat “on your leg? Of course not” I whispered
He suddenly pulled my hand and before I knew it,I was sitted on his laps
“Let me go?” I said wanting to stand up
“No,We are heading somewhere far,So just seat and enjoy the ride and you will be a good shield to protect me from all this girls” He said
I sighed heavily and stayed on his legs until the bus stopped
We got down and I walked through the familiar street back home
“Is this your neighborhood?” He asked
“Yes,I stay here with my father,My stepmother and step sisters” I said
“What are they like?” He asked
“Caring,They love me and am sure that they would have been so worried looking for me” I lied
They were hærdly caring and they never loved me, But surely they would have searched for me right?
“Stay here while I go in” I said to him and I felt relieved that he decided to stay back
I climbed up the stairs and I could hear that music was being played in the house, They certainly don’t look like someone who is searching for their loved one
I knocked uncertainly and the door open only for me to come face to face with my Step mom
“What the hell are you doing here?” She yelled and am sure that Luis would have heard that.
“Hello “I said gently
” save your darn greeting and tell what the hell you are doing here”She yelled at me
“Have come home” I said
“Home! You still think this is your home? Well its best that you leave cause this place isn’t your home anymore” She said
“I won’t? This house both belonged to my parents and I won’t leave” I said
“Look there is an important party going on, Cassandra is getting engaged to a very important guy,So i ts best that you leave” She said
“I said I won’t leave until my father tell me so” I said raising up my voice
“You stupid girl,What more do you want,To ruin our lives right?” She said
“No,I just want to see my dad”
“Well then I will bring him,So he can tell it to your face That he doesn’t want you here?” She said and stormed back in
“My dad wants me,He really do wants me” I whispered to myself and unknown to me Luis was watching and listening to everything
