Sarah walked upstairs and saw Kylie sleeping on the bed.
She walked towards her and sat on the bed.

“Ah jeez. Why does she have to come here?” She thought.

Sarah brushed Kylie’s hair with her finger.
“I’m sorry Kylie. I wished I could tell you everything but it’s for your own good. Goodnight sweetheart” she k×ssed her head and left.

Kylie shot her eyes wide open.
“I’ll find out what you are hiding mom!” She said and threw the bed sheets away.

She checked herself out again before she left the house.
“Jackson has jumped down before. So why can’t I?” She said and jumped down.

She closed her eyes and saw that she hasn’t touched the floor yet.
She opened her eyes and saw that Jackson caught her.

He gently placed her on the floor.
“What were you thinking? Are you f*cking serious? Do you want to break your leg on your birthday?” He asked.

“Well, I knew you would come save me. Thanks” she said and pecked his cheek.
She left to meet the girls that were waiting in the car.

“Hey guys” she said and entered the car.

“Hey!!!” They replied, looking hot as usual.

Jackson got into the car and drove off.
He was tired of listening to their girls chat.

“So where are you heading to?” He asked.

“Um, Fred is throwing a party in the wood. More like night party” Lilly replied.

“I heard the seniors will be there. Can’t wait to flirt with them?” Cindy said and laughed.

“Look, it’s almost twelve. Kylie, it will be your day soon” Lilly said.

Kylie smiled.
“Thanks guys. This is my first time celebrating my birthday with friends. I love you both” she said.

Jackson frowned.
“So, you don’t love me huh?” He asked.

“Really Jackson? Come on, drive faster!” Kylie yelled.

They girls cheered.
Jackson smiled and increased the speed of the car.

They got to the party after five minutes. Chris saw Jackson and ran to him.

“Hey buddy, you came” he said to Jackson and sighted Kylie.

“Oh Kylie is here” he said and wanted to hug her.

Jackson stopped him.
“Don’t touch her” he said.

Chris moved back.
“Sorry man” he said.

Jackson glared at them and grabbed Kylie’s arm.
“Let’s go. I can’t let you…”

Suddenly, someone punched Jackson right on the face.

The music stopped and everyone stared at the scene.
“What’s happening?”

“Oh no, they just got Jackson right on the face”

Jackson stood up and saw that it was Blake.

“I should have expected that. You are such an a$$hole, do you think attacking me from behind will help? Why can’t you fight me right in front of me, you know like a real man!” Jackson said, moving close to him.

Blake stood, staring at Jackson.

Cindy wished Jackson could finish him off.
Thank goodness it’s dark, so they won’t be able to see his eyes.

“Come on, you can deal with him” she said to him through his mind.

“Oh, yes. I will but I don’t want my girlfriend to see me as a monster” he replied.

Cindy smirked and shook her head.

Blake stepped back till he hit a tree.
“I will warn you for the last time. Stay away from Kylie and also me. I don’t want to see you anywhere near us”

“Why? What are you going to do? Beat me up?” He asked.

“No! Kill you!” Jackson said and drew his face closer to his face. He showed him his red eyes which made Blake react. He gasped and quickly ran off.

Everyone cheered.
“I never knew the senior was such a weakling” Kylie said to Jackson.

“Hey, I need to talk to you” Madison said as she appeared out of nowhere.

Jackson frowned.
“Kylie, sit right here. Don’t move!” He said.

Kylie sat on the wood and stared at the way Jackson dragged Madison away.

She wondered why Jackson treats her like a child.

“What is it Madison? Do you want to kill Kylie?” He asked.

“No, it’s about Chris” she replied.

“What about Chris?” He asked with a frown.

“Well, I should be asking you that. What’s your problem? Since you’ve met your three days old girlfriend, you’ve abandoned your almost seven hundred years friendsh¡p. That’s very stupid of you” she said.

“I don’t know Madison. I feel drawn to her. She looks special”

“Oh please. Go talk to Chris while I keep your human friend company” madison said and walked away from him.

Jackson grabbed her arms.
“Don’t touch her”

“Yeah, I get it. She’s your special thing” Madison said and freed herself from his grip.

Jackson walked to Chris and saw him drinking alone.

“A glass please!” He said to the attendant.

“What are you doing here?” Chris asked without staring at Jackson.

“To spend time with my buddy” he said and slapped his back.

Chris glared at him.
“Oh, I’m now your buddy? You don’t even want to hang out with me just because of Kylie. She’s just human and nothing else” he said.

“I understand dude. It’s been over two hundred years since I fell in love and now that I have. I’m trying to spend the little time I have to spend with her” Jackson said.

Chris sighed deeply.
“I understand. Just spend time with me also. You are making me jealous”

Jackson smiled and hugged Chris.
“I’m sorry man”

“Oh no!” Chris said with his eyes shot wide open. He was staring at the sky.

“What happened?” Jackson asked and turned back.

“Oh no, the blood moon is out” he said.

He stared at Kylie and saw her drinking with Madison.

“See you later dude” Jackson said and walked towards them.

“Hey. I see you both are having fun” he said.

Kylie stood up.
“I never knew these hot drinks could be so good” she said.

“Madison! How could you let her drink this hærd drink?”

“Happy birthday Kylie!!” Cindy and Lilly yelled as they appeared out of nowhere.

Madison smirked and sipped from her drink.
What Bob said recalled in her mind.
“Fresh eighteen years old girl”

She turned and stared at Kylie.
“She can’t be the demigod. There are a lot of people celebrating their birthday today” she thought and continued drinking.

“Thanks guys” Kylie said and finished her glad at a goal.

“Is she drunk?” Lilly asked.

“A little! All thanks to Madison” Jackson said as shot a hærd glare at Madison.

“Don’t stare at me. I couldn’t stop a happy birthday besides you told me not to touch her” she said and left the scene.

“I’ll take her home now. You both take care of yourself” Jackson said to them and left.

“Yeah, bye!” Lilly yelled.

Cindy stared at Lilly.
“Are you crushing on Jackson?”

“No I’m not” she lied and left.

Cindy shook her head.
“I guess Kylie is just the lucky one” she thought and left.

Jackson drove the car very fast. He couldn’t concentrate because of the blood moon and of course, Kylie!

She kept on uttering different words.
“I don’t want to go back to that house. My mom will find out that I left and I’ll be grounded” she said in her drunken state.

“Really?” He asked and glared at her.

“Yes, I’m so sure!” She replied and relaxed her head.

Jackson knew this was the opportunity for him to ask her a special question.

“So Kylie?” He called out.

“Huh?”

“Why did you run away from home last night?”

Kylie raised her head and glared at Jackson.
“I know you want me to tell you what happened. But I’ll tell you. You are my boyfriend, aren’t you?” She asked.

“Yes I am” he replied.

“My mom told me my dad’s alive. I got furious that she lied to me and I left home” she replied.

“Oh wow!” He said nodding his head.

“So, last question. Do you love me?” He asked.

Kylie laughed for a long time after she heard that question.
“Really Jackson? Do you think I’m really drunk? I’m just a little bit tipsy” she replied.

“So is the answer a yes or a no?”

“I don’t know d×ckhead”

“Where did you hear that from?” He asked.
He knew he hasn’t heard Kylie said that before.

“Oh, that’s what Madison called a guy who touched my br×ast earlier”

Jackson quickly pulled over.
“What? Who tried to touch you?”

“I’m just kidding dude. Now drive me home. I guess I’ll still celebrate my birthday alone as usual” she murmured.

Jackson sighed and sped up the car and drove off.

Sarah couldn’t sleep. She kept turning on the bed.
She didn’t know why she has been feeling reckless and uneasy.

“I should probably check on Kylie!” She said and left the room.

She entered Kylie’s room and switch on the light but she was no where to be found.

She ran to the window and saw that was the way she escaped.

“Oh no. The blood moon is out already. Kylie!”

Sarah ran to her room and grabbed a jacket.
She took her car keys and opened the door.

She saw Jackson walking with Kylie towards the house.

“Oh my world, Kylie?” She cried out and hugged Kylie as she stepped her foot into the house.

“Oh, it’s you mom” Kylie said and walked away.

“Thanks Samuel”

“Uh, it’s Jackson ma’am” Jackson quickly corrected.

“I’ll get that next time” she said and closed the door.

She locked it behind and went to meet Kylie who was sitting alone in dinning room.

“Kylie, happy birthday!” She said softly.

“Oh yeah, it’s my birthday” Kylie raised her hands in the air, pretending to be happy.

Sarah stood up and walked to the refrigerator. She brought out a small chocolate cake with strawberries on top.

“I got you this”

Kylie raised her head and sighted the cake. She watched as her mother placed it before her.

She loved cake a lot, especially, chocolate cake. That’s her favorite.

“I really apologize for sneaking out of the house”

“Oh, it’s okay. You just want to have your freedom. Well, I promise that on your next birthday. You will have all the fun you want. But today is really different, today is special. I don’t want you to be seen outside”

“Come on mom. Is it because of the red moon? It will disappeared once it’s morning, I have to go to school tomorrow” she grabbed the cake and head to her room.

“Just stay low, okay?” Sarah yelled.

“Whatever mom!” Kylie yelled in reply.

“Save Kylie from their hands” Sarah murmured.

The vampires do not understand why Bob summoned them again. They were all looking hungry and tired.

Madison was a bit angry because her party was ruined.

“You all must be wondering why I summoned you, huh?”

*Murmurs*
“Silence!!” He yelled and hit his staff on the floor.

They all became quiet.
“We can all see the blood moon. It’s really…bloody. the demigod is still out there and we are going to look for her. Right now!!!”

*Cheers*
They were all happy that they would have the chance to quench their taste.
“We will be going to the witches clan to hunt there. I just hope the demigod is with them. And yes… Feel free to kill them if you want. Don’t forget to burn their body. Now, to the witches clan!!!”

They started walking towards the witches hangout.
“Mom, why did Bob said we should burn the witches?”

“Well, you see. Witches powers are in their soul. So if you kill them without burning them, they can enter someone else’s body and move on with their lives. It’s better you burn them so that their souls can die” Alice explained.

“Oh, I see. Do we really have to do this mom? I wish I was not part of this” Jackson said and rolled his eyes.

They were closer to their hangout.
Some of the witches that were outside, viewing the blood moon saw the vampires coming.

They quickly chanted some words, making the rock divide slowly.

They forced themselves through the rock and ran to inform everyone about the attack.
“We’ve been attacked. The vampires are here!!!” The young girl s¢ræmed.

Everyone heard her and stared to panick.
It wasn’t their witching hour. They don’t possess any hour when it’s an hour after midnight.

“How many minutes do we have left?” Elina asked. She was dressed in white flowing gown as usual. With her long brown hair touching her shoulders.

“Twenty three minutes you honor” she replied.

“They are going to break in very soon. Everyone be at alert, I know we are all terrified. We can do this. I know they can’t break that rock easily. It will take a lot of time” Elina announced and went to her chamber.

She brought out her phone and called Sarah.
“Hey Sarah, how’s your daughter?”

“She is fine. She’s in her room”

“Keep an eye on her. We have been attacked by the vampires. They will break in anytime soon”

“Oh no. It’s not the witching hour. How on earth will you…”

“We just have less than twenty minutes left. If Kylie was with us, she would have fought for us. Congratulations that she has passed the death age”

“Thanks Elina. Take care of yourself. I wish there’s anyway I can help” she said.

“It’s alright. Bye for now”
Elina disconnected the call and sighed deeply.

The vampires were trying to break the rock but it seemed impossible.
They’ve used different type of hammer but it still didn’t work.

“I can’t let our coming here be in vain. Where the heck is Rana?!” Bob yelled.

Rana appeared. She was the strongest vampire.
She looked very huge and not to beautiful. She was like a monster in human clothing.

“Yes master!” Rana said.

“You seem hungry and thirsty. There are food in,side this rock, if you can break it. You’ll get all the food in the world”

“Hmm mm” she replied with her deep voice.
She walked towards the rock and started punching it hærd.

It started cracking.
Bob smiled and moved away.

“Now, we will get the demigod and destroy her” Bob said and tightened his fist.

“How’s that even possible? She has exceed the death age already. There is no way we can defeat her”

“Who was that?” Bob asked, glaring at everyone.

Some people separated themselves from the person that said it.

Bob walked towards him and grabbed him by the neck.
“How dare you question me? Huh?!” He asked, strangling the man to death.

No one could stop him.
He snapped his neck and dropped his dead body on the floor.
Bob cleaned his hand and continued staring at Rana as she punched the rock.

“How many more minutes?”

“Five your honor!”

“I know they won’t make it. Everyone stay at position, be at alert. They can break in at any time” Elina said. She was standing at the highest balcony, commanding them from there.

She decide to do her own spells from there.

She went into the room and dropped her long staff.

Immediately, she heard s¢ræms.
She ran out of the room and saw that the vampires have made their way in.

They were strangling some of the witches already.
“Thirty seconds left!” Some one yelled.

Elina couldn’t bear the sight of seeing her own kind, harmed.

She quickly went in,side the room and started making her mixtures.

“Ten seconds?!”

Some of the witches were running away from the vampires, to protect themselves from being harmed. They played hide and seek with them.

“Finally!!!”

Immediately, the witches heard that. They came out from the hiding s₱0t and pushed them with a strong force.

They just used their hands to push them, without touching them.

Some of the vampires were hurt already.

Their eyes have turned red and their fangs were out. They were bloody thirsty.

Jackson just sat outside, staring at the blood moon.
He doesn’t want to be part of all this.

He thinks the demigod is also part of them because their blood still run in her veins.

Bob made his way to the dungeon.
He went deeper because he smelt vampire’s blood.

“Henry?! Oh, here’s my long lost cousin!” Bob said.

“Bob? Is that you?” Henry asked.

“We never knew you were abducted by the witches. We looked for you everywhere” Bob said slowly.

“What are you doing here?” Henry asked in his weak voice.

“We attacked the clan. Isn’t it cool?” Bob laughed.

“Just get me out of this place, please!” Henry pleaded.

“Ah jeez. Of course, I will”

Bob helped henry out of the dungeon.
He got out and raised his staff.
The fight stopped.

Elina walked out of the room and stood in front of Bob.
“Why did you stop the fight?” She asked.

“Oh, nothing at all. I think it’s too boring since the demigod isn’t actually here. Do you have any idea where she is?” He asked.

“You know manipulation doesn’t work on us here. I see you are scared. Scared because, we would have defeated you”

Bob laughed. The other vampires also laughed with him.

“Show me what you got. I give you Rana. Show us your greatest weapon”

“This!” Elina brought out a glass with liquid in,side.

“Water? Ohh, water is your weapon. Fine. Just kill her Rana!” Bob said and turned to leave.

Rana gr0×ned and ran towards her.

As she ran towards Elina, Elina splashed the liquid on her.

Ran stopped and fell on the floor.

Bob turned and saw what happened.

Rana body melted away.
Even her bones!

“What did you do?”

“Since the sun can’t affect you all anymore. This can!”

“Let’s leave. We’ll find the demigod and we’ll kill her!” Bob said softly and left.

The rest of the vampires left.

“How many do we lost?”

“Seven”

“Find new body for them. They weren’t burned, thank goodness” Elina said and left.

She has been waiting for the blood moon ever since. She knew that was what she could use to get the potion that could kill the vampires.

Bob threw Henry into the mansion.
He squatted and stared at him.

“There was only one reason I brought you back. Your brother, Robby was in love with a witch. Where is she? Who is she?”

“I’ve been locked up for twenty years. How on earth would I know?” He replied.

Bob smirked.
“I know you are lying. I know just what to do to get you to talk!”
