📞 ” Tanya are you responsible for the bombs explosion in the plane ” Mrs Olivia asked over the phone.
She just saw the news and was thinking Tanya was behind it. So she called her for confirmation.
📞 ” N..no ma’am I can never do such a thing. Is a mere concidence. I’ll never go to that extend ” Tanya lied.
Olivia sigh with relief. She had been holding her breath since. Even if she hate the maid so much. She’ll never wish to kill her such as bombing her along with other people. She won’t.she’s not mean to that extend.
📞 ” Am happy you are not involve in this. I totally thought you were the one behind the bomb explosion. Am just relieved that you’re not involve in such gruesomely act it would’ve horrible to kill so many people ” Mrs Olivia said and Tanya rolled her eyes away.
📞 ” yeah ma’am sure ” She said reluctantly.

” Some of the bodies were found. The bodies have been taking to Advocate South Suburban Hospital in hazel crest of Illinois. And the cops are already on further ……” the newscaster was still reading.
” No no ” Darrell cried bitterly. His heart ached.
” Let’s go the hospital. She’s not dead. Nat can’t die. Let’s all go the hospital. Maybe she’s alive ” Judy said her voice quaked.
Darrell sudden male spirit revived and he stop crying.
” You’re right. Natalie can’t die. She promise not to leave me. She can’t die. Let’s all go ” Darrell said.

They got to the hospital at 12’o clock and the hospital was noises. Doctors and nurse busy attending to the burnt ones and people crying here and there for their love ones that are already dead.
Where and how’ll they start finding her.

They started searching the dead bodies in the morgue after they couldn’t find Natalie in the one that are not dead yet,but they were badly burnt. So they move to the morgue for the already dead ones.
They couldn’t even recognize some of the dead bodies. Their faces and bodies were brutality burnt beyond imagination and making it difficult for them to be recognized.
Darrell was the one to open the last body because Mrs Jeanne was already plunge to the hospital floor weeping so hærd and Judy cuddled her and wept too.
Darrell gasped at the last body and yelled.
” No no it can’t be ” he saw a silver necklace that he had giving to Natalie the first day he picked her for work.
It was the same silver necklace and the body was a female too. The hair was completely wipe out.
Judy and Mrs Jeanne rush to him and they narrowed their gaze from him to the body.
Judy yelps and Jeanne fainted. They also recognize the silver necklace. Because Natalie had show them the necklace and told them Darrell gave it to her.
” No it can’t be. It can’t be ” Judy muttered and then she scre-med afterwards.

A plane landed safely and some of the passengers that were sleeping awaken.
” Good morning everyone. We landed safely. Welcome to Poland ” the pilot announced.
Natalie even as she was still sleeping heard the word ‘Poland’ and open her eyes immediately. She look startled.
” Poland ,how is it possible” she murmured to herself.
She remembered that she was going to Australia and how did she end up going to Poland was beyond her or probably she didn’t hear the pilot clearly.
” Where are we? ” She asked a kid about 10 who was sitting close to her.
Startled by her question. The kid gave her a surprise glance.
” We’re in Poland ” he said, furrowing his brow and then shook his head ,thinking maybe she was a crazy lady.
Natalie gasped. How was this possible. How did she take the wrong plane. People were starting to depart the plane.
She reluctantly followed.

She was outside the airport with her luggages. She look at every where and wonder how’ll she start a new life in a unfamiliar country. The immigration officer checked her visa and still didn’t see they was an error. She had kept quiet it’s gonna be alot of trouble getting caught up with those officers. The officer probably didn’t check well. What startled her the most was how did she end up in the wrong plane.

Kristopher Walter a very build up man with a Copper shimmer hair and with nice beaming Amber eyes. He was looking dashing with his safari outfit and with the safari hat. Ladies were already staring at him in the airport ,they couldn’t resist his cuteness. Some were already dreaming to be in his arms. Some have giving him his numbers to call them. He just collect them for fancy. He wouldn’t call them.
One would say he was just coming from Africa with the way he dressed. He came out with his luggages and made a phone call.

He halt as his eyes caught Natalie. They was a speculative gleam lit on Kristopher’s eyes and a smile curve his lip as he stare at Natalie.
Natalie stare the silver necklace she was wearing. Darrell had giving her that necklace and she always use that to remember him.
” It nice to see you polar bear ” Kristopher materialize behind her. She turn and furrowed her brow. She wonder who he was.
” Years passed ,but you’re still the polar bear I knew Natty ” he winked at her.
Natalie eyes w¡den as his face was becoming clear to her.
” Kris ” she mutter with a smile.
” Yeah Polar bear is me Kris ” he said and she rushed to hug him.
” How have you been. It’s a been twelve years and two month exactly I saw you last ” he said as he disengage from her.
” And you never forgot the name Polar bear. Neither do I forgot your name too. Puppy ” she said wryly and Kris chuckled.
Kris and Natalie were best friend from kindergarten to their six grade before he disappeared. They were also neighbors back then.
Kris call her polar bear because that was the nickname he gave her after she wore a polar bear costume to a costume party the school org-nized. And when he called her polar bear and she had called him puppy too coz he put on a dog costume that day too.
Natalie had a crush on him when she was twelve. But never got to tell him ,before him and his family disappeared. She had cried a lot because she misses him. But the feelings she had for him was a mere infatuation and it went away a month later. She never even got to know the place his family moved to.
” we got a lot of talking to do Natty ” he said.
” Yeah sure a lot. Starting from when you disappeared without a trace. I was a bit annoyed then ,but now am still ” she said wryly.
Kris lifted his brow feeling remorseful. He move without telling her and that was wrong.
” My family moved to London. You know my dad was a militant. Due to the nation of his job he got transferred to London. And the wh0le thing came unexpectedly. I came to your house to inform you. But you , your mum or little sister weren’t in the house that day and that was why you never got to know where we moved to. But I was foolish not to left a note. But I really missed you back then. You were my number one best friend. It took time to adjust to everything and I got the chance to make new friends ” he narrated.
” I really cried back then ” she began with a laugh ,for a moment she had forgotten about her own sorrow.
” You cried ” he stated in surprise.
” Yes I did ,because I felt heart broken. I had a crush on you then ” she said and laughed.
” Oh really. I never knew you did. Am sorry for that ” he apologized.
” Don’t be. It’s been twelve years and my feelings only last a month ” she said.
” Huh ” he sighed.
Natalie emphasis on her own words and the sadness came. ‘ she cried ‘ ‘ she was heart broken ‘ this is the way Darrell would feel. The same way she felt when Kris left without a trace his the same way Darrell would feel.
” Are you all right ” Kris inquired after the sudden change of expression in her face.
” Am not ” she didn’t deny.
” You’ll tell me everything. When we get home. Dennis my driver is on his way ” he said.
Just has he said the last statement. Dennis appeared with the car.
” Are you coming or you waiting for someone ” he said.
” No I have no one here who’ll come for me. Am all alone ” she said and he could read the sadness his her hazel eyes.
He knew something was wrong. But when he gets to his mansion they’ll have time to discuss.
” Dennis take her luggages too” He said and the driver respectfully did as he was instructed.

They arrive in Kris’s mansion. Two servant emerging from the house immediately to collect the luggages.
” Take her luggages also ” he instructed.

Natalie had freshen up and came down for lunch as the maid said it was time for lunch.
” Natty you’re welcome to my dinning table ” Kris winked at her,she forge a smile and took a seat.
” Hope you like pierogi ,rosol,galabki ” he said as he pass a pierogi dish for her to serve herself.
” Pierogi,rosol and galabki,what food is that ” she ask in astonishment. She haven’t heard of those names of food before.
” This are polish food. Pierogi means_polish dumpling, rosol means_broth chicken soup and galabki means_cabbage roll ” he explained.
” Oh ” she replied.
” Do you like them ” he inquired.
She stare at the food.
” I should get use to eating in Poland ” she said with a force smile.
” What about your mum and dad and I also recalled your mum was pregnant before you guys left ” Natalie said.
Kris sighed.
” Dad is a retired solider now and spend most of his time traveling to different places around the world ” he said softly and pause ,he stuffed some cabbage roll in his mouth before continuing ” As for mum she lost the baby some weeks when we arrived at London, and my mum died of cancer three years after she lost the baby ”
” It’s must’ve been so hærd for you and your dad. Am sorry for digging old wounds ” She said.
” It’s alright it as been so many years of those ordeals. I have learnt to put the past behind me and move on. The past as made me stronger ”
” I have learnt to put the past behind me and move on ” Natalie silently emphasised at that word. We she learn to put the past behind her and move on,no what was she thinking. Darrell or her family isn’t her past. They’re her present and future. They will always be in her heart.
” I left London to Poland when I became independent four years back. I got involve with investment,lot of investment and it did great I became a successful man. I open my own company. Today am a successful millionaire ”
” Wow you’re surely a successful business man. I didn’t even get to finish my education” Natalie informed sadly.
Kris dropped his spoon and lifted his brow in startled surprise.
” You mean you never got to finish your studies ”
” Yes. I was almost in my finals when I’ve no choice to quit school ”
” Why ? ”
” First I wasn’t able to get to the university ontime. He took me three years before I could enter. Secondly I quit school because my mum needed an urgent heart surgery. But mum is find now. That isn’t even my biggest problem now ” she said wearily and she felt a pain in her chest and could resist the tears. They fell down gently to her cheek.
” I know something was wrong please share with me ” Kris went closer to her lifting her chin.

” We’ll get to the Australia and Poland business later . You mean you let a woman destroy your realtionsh¡p ” Kris frowned after Natalie had narrated everything to him. She was wailing now.
” I have no choice is either I saved my sister’s dignity or stand a chance of loosing her. She will be more depressed than I’m now. Imagine her nude pic floating through the internet and that might cause teen suicide ” She got no further as tears block her from speaking again.
” Is okay polar bear Kris is here for you ” he said soothingly,trying to lighten her mood.
” It’ll never be okay Kris. I love him so much. He’s the only man that make me feel special. I wonder how he must be doing now. I know he’ll be very heart broken .The fact that he will grow to hate me one-day is already killing me ” she explained wearily.

🌌 Nighttime back in Chicago 🌌
” Darrell ” Tanya gro-n as she threw him down to the bed.
He was drunk and couldn’t think clearly. Darrell had gone to the bar and drank himself to stupor. It the only he thought he could get his mind of what had happened.
Tanya had followed him and watch him drank to stupor and then carried him to her car and took him to one of her dad’s private bungalow.
Darrell was too drunk to rebel against her presence . He followed her like a blunder idiot. He keep calling Natalie’s name and that irritated her to the core.
” Natalie ” he called again as he lay down in the bed.
Tanya clenched her fist and jaw.
” Can’t he just forget the maid for once ” she murmured.
She smiled. She want to get pregnant at least if she was pregnant Darrell won’t push her away and pretend she don’t exist.
She reach to unbutton his dress and Darrell grasp her hands and then he lifted his face to his her properly. Darrell smiled to her as he started seeing Natalie in Tanya.
” Oh my love. I knew you would never leave me. I know you didn’t forget the promise my Natalie ” he said,sitting up and then capturing Tanya on her wa-ist and k-ss her l-ips.
” Yes Darrell. You don’t know how long have been waiting for your k-ss or Darrell I had miss you ” she mo-ned.
Darrell was unbutton her clothes and car-ssing her.

With a slighted headache Darrell open up his eyes slowly and sat up with a gro-n.
Then realization of doom shun on him. He was unclad and there was a sleeping unclad Tanya on his bed.
He gasped as he recalled the night.
