” Tanya ,Nora will live with you so you can nurse her like a mother. I’ll want my child to leave with me when she a little bit old” Darrell said to Tanya.
They have been discharged and the baby was taking to Tanya’s home.
Nora was asleep in the crib and Tanya was in the bed. Darrell ,Olivia and Tanya’s mum where there too.
Tanya frowned this is not what she wanted. But she’ll have to bear it. She wants him and that was the purpose of bringing the child to the world.
” Okay ” she agreed reluctantly.
What will she do to make him marry her. She was out of ideas now.

” Son why not get married to her ” Mrs Olivia stated to her son as she followed him outside.
He halt and turn irritatedly to her.
” Mum please I can’t be hearing this everyday. I’ve told you that i don’t want to marry that woman. The only connection I have with her is that of my child and nothing else.
” How long will you grief for that maid? ” She glared at him. He sighed. There was no use in explaining anything to her. Talking to his mum is like talking to a plain wall. He ought to have knew that by now.
” Mum am entitled to my life alone. Am a grown up man not a baby you can ask what to do ” he said without awaiting for her reply left her.
” Can I go see Nora now ” Amber squealed at Mrs Olivia and she smiled. And then she hurried through the stairs.
Mr Tyler as left to attend with some meeting and the twins as left as usual not concern about anyone but their self.
They didn’t even care to see the child. They left before Tanya and the rest left the hospital.

” Jeremy I want you to gather the team by 2pm am gonna have a meeting with them concern project. I wanna see how ready they’re” Darrell said to his PA.
” Yes sir ” Jeremy respond respectfully.
He was about leaving when Darrell stopped him.
” Wait Jeremy ”
Jeremy turned.
” Call the airline manager and check about our traveling schedule. I don’t want any reschedule. I don’t want any problem to occur when the team and I travel. You know will have to be there for the representation so we can merge with his company ” he said.
” okay sir I’ll do just that ” he said before leaving.
Darrell handset rang. He collected it from his desk. He smiled to himself as he recognized the caller ID. It was his sweet little daughter Nora.
” Hey Daddy when are you going come pick me up today have been waiting for you the wh0le day and you don’t show up ” Nora sound annoyed.
” Sweetheart daddy is business okay. I know am supposed to pick you up today. I’ll come tommorow. Just stay with your mum for a day okay ” he said.
” No,no ,no I don’t wanna stay here with mummy. She makes me stare at her when she put on her boring make up and makes boring calls. I’ll hit my head in a wall if I stay here for another minute ” her sweet voice yell over the phone.
Darrell laughed. His daughter is only six years old but she speak like an adult of eighteen.
” My jewel okay Daddy will come pick you very soon ,ASAP. When am done with my meeting ” he offer hopefully that will calm her mood.
” Okay Daddy love you so much ” She said blowing k-sses over the phone.
” Love you too sweetheart ” he said and they end the call.
He sighed as he acknowledged the fact that his daughter don’t like staying with Tanya. Tanya only pays attention to herself and forget that she as a kid. Nora was always complaining of been bored whenever she goes to her mother’s place. Still Tanya always like coming to take her. Even if he hates Tanya ,he can’t be selfish of denying her access to her daughter.

” Mummy,mummy look at what I drew ” Kristen came rushing to her mum room and Natalie was sitting beside her dressing chair combing her hair.
Natalie smiled at her daughter as she handled over the drawing excitedly to her. Kristen had Hazel green eyes like her mum and blonde hair like Darrell’s. Her hair were long and pack in a ponytail.
” So what do we’ve here ” Natalie said,looking at a picture of a big house and cars. They pictures look funny. It was drawn by a six year old.
” That’s the picture of our house and those are the cars will have here ” Kristen cheered innocently.
” Impressive ” Natalie smiled at her and pitch her cheeks playfully and that made her giggled.
” Where is your brother? ” She inquired.
” Am here mum. I also drew something ” Darrell walked him.
Darrell was the exact copy of his father. He as his eyes ,hair ,shape of nose.
” Let me see your drawings too ” she said and he slowly handled over the picture to her.
She take a look at it and it was the picture of a lady hold two children ,a male and female and a man standing far away. She knew definitely who the pictures all represent. They represent them.
She notice a empty space and a question mark on it.
” Who is missing ? ” She asked surprisedly .
” Mummy that’s is papa space. We don’t know him so I didn’t draw him. I only know uncle Kris,but i want to know about our father ” Darrell said firmly.
This was the third time they’ve ask her about their father. Darrell was the one always bringing the topic up .And Natalie had always successful in diverting their little minds.
” Where is uncle Kris ? ” Natalie ask hoping that will divert his attention.
But little Darrell refuse to be sidetrack.
” Mummy ” he frowned.
” How’re our little Prince and princess doing look what uncle Kris got for you guys ” Kris voice could be heard in the doorway.
That divert their mind they hurried to him and hugged him.
Natalie sighed in relief.
” Uncle Kris what’s those you’ve in your hands? ” Kristen asked cheerfully,staring at the two white shopping bags.
” This are present for the prince and the princess ”
He handled over one to Kristen and the other to Darrell.
They brought the package out.
” I got a doll house ” Kristen squeal.
” And I got a Batman. A big Batman ” Darrell w¡den his eyes greatly amazed by the action figure that was almost his size.
” You can both go play with them in your room ” he said.
” Thank you Uncle Kris ” the both chorus and happily race to their room.
” Why that face ? ” he asked Natalie who was putting on a sad face.
” Darrell is still bent on asking about his dad. He just six and yet he is asking ” Natalie sighed.
” At what age did you want
him to ask ? He might be a child but he totally know what a father role. His friends might have been talking to him about their father. So he is asking for his own. A child will one day need his father. And I know Kristen also do ask you too ”
” Yeah she do ask after she sees her brother asking ”
” How long do you wanna remain without contacting Darrell. It as been six years now. C’mon you deserve happiness. You can never run away from fate. I think it’s time to face fate. Fate is bringing you back to Darrell” he said,making his last statement in a whisper.
” What are you saying ” she said referring to the last statement because she didn’t heard that part clearly.
” Am trying to say you need a blissful life ,not a bleakness life. I’ve caught you crying many times. You still love that man so dearly. It’s enough ” Kris said solemnly.
Natalie furrowed her brow in confusion. Wondering what he was up to. He was speaking strangely.
” I don’t get you Kris ”
” Just forget ,huh I wanna eat the special blue berries muffins you make and waffles also ” he said and winked.
“You’re an expert in changing subject. Okay I’ll make them for dinner ” she smiled.
” I also got a lot of work to do overnight concerning those project paperwork. You know we’ll have to be impressive so the teams coming from Chicago will be impressed and find us alliable. I want to get prepared” she said soberly.
” Been courteous. That’s the spirit. But you don’t have to work your ass out. The meeting of the Chicago team is in three days time ” he reminded.
” I know. I wanna give the best shot. You know I’ll be the one representing ”
” Okay ,I give up ” he shrugged and Natalie chuckled.
” Hmm ” she furrowed brow , obviously wanna ask something.
” This team. You always call them the Chicago team and I have never question you. This team don’t they work for a company ” she inquired.
” Oh that…. TDN telecom manufacturing company ” He said with a lifted brow and a grin.
” What ” Natalie gasped. That was Darrell’s company.
” Relax I was just joking. NDT telecom company ” he offered hopefully.
” Sure about that ” she said eyeing him suspiciously.
” C’mon Natty there is no need for that suspiciously look huh. I only wanted to scare you ” he winked.
” You’re always playfully ” she said,dragging him by the ears.
” Ouch,that hurts ” he whined and Natalie burst into laughter.
Natalie was very happy and blessed to have such a wonderful friend in her life. He as helped her a lot. Make her gets a good job,make her his partner in business. He was nice and didn’t take advantage of her. Not once have he ask her to repay his kindness.

” Sweetheart am so sorry for keeping you waiting ” Darrell said dragging his ears.
Darrell and his daughter Nora were in the car and they sat at the back seat while the driver drove them.
Nora was annoyed that her dad came to pick her late.
” You were late daddy ” she fumed ,folding her hands and not looking at him.
” Daddy is sorry. He was caught up with work ” he said hopefully that will help,but it didn’t.
” You will have to promise that you’ll not be late again ” she managed to stare at him but her face was still frowning.
” I promise. I won’t will be this late in picking you again ” he said dragging his ears.
She removed his hands from his ears and hugged him.
” I miss you daddy ” she whispered in his ears.
” And I also miss my little princess ” he said tighting the hug.

” Princess daddy have something to request for ” Darrell said.
” What’s that ” she said ,combing her Barbie’s doll hair she was holding.
” Is it okay for Daddy to go away for some time like a week though ” he said.
” Where are you going to for a week ” she inquired bluntly ,not like what he saying.
” Daddy will be going to Poland for a week” he announced.
