That was unusual since when I checked her phone, it was fully charged. I decided to call Mwikali to inquire if she knew where Teyie was. Mwikali told me that she was with Teyie at her office just ten minutes ago; I became confused.
The person calling Sly was saved as Sir Teyie and she had told me that it was a call concerning work so I believed it was Teyie calling but now Mwikali told me that Teyie was in her office with her three hours after Sly was gone.
I sensed that there was a game being played by Sly so I decided to leave, I had overstayed my welcome.
I did not want to get Mwikali suspicious so I made it look like I was in need of Mr. Teyie to discuss business and also I did not mention anything to do with Sly. I went to the shower, took a hot shower then dressed up and took my car keys. I just left the door closed but not locked since I did not know where she had placed her keys and I drove off.
I was headed to my house to go and check on Viola since I had not seen her from Friday evening. I passed by the shopping mall to buy her some gifts. As I parked the car in the parking lot, I happened to s₱0t Teyie’s car parked at the far right corner of the parking lot.
I became confused how his car would be at the shopping mall yet Mwikali had told me that he was with her at the office about thirty minutes ago; there was no way he could make it from the office to the shopping mall in thirty minutes since the highway from the company was on high traffic.
I just assumed that it was one of his employees with the car but as I walked towards the entrance, I looked up and there she was, Sly holding hands with Teyie.
The two had not seen me yet, I quickly hid with the crowd and got to a safe place beside some shelves. Sly and Teyie went upstairs towards the Equity Bank situated at the mall and I was left downstairs. I looked besides where I was hiding and saw a box written spy camera, the camera was being advertised and it was on offer.
“Excuse me sir, how does this work?” I asked one of the mall attendants.
“You just charge it using it’s charger then connect it to your phone’s GPS through the internet and whatever it records anything, it will automatically save in your phone. It is more or less like a CCTV camera only that this one is wireless and can cover a range of up to 300Kilometers. The camera needs recharging every twenty four hours and it takes just an hour to charge.” He explained.
The camera was going for half my salary but it was the only way I would know what Teyie and Sly were up to; I purchased it without even a second thought.
I expected to find something the size of my watch in,side the box but to my surprise it was something so tiny; if stuck on someone’s body, one would not notice it easily. It was just slightly bigger than my phone’s camera. It’s imagines were so clear, I was just mesmerized by the efficiency of the tech used to manufacture that camera.
I went and secretly stuck it on the back right corner of Teyie’s Range Rover then checked my phone to see if I had a good view of the car’s interior. The camera had a 180° coverage, I could see the wh0le of the car’s interior and also the road ahead of the car but since it was at the right corner, the driver’s seat was only visible the behind part.
Satisfied that the camera was well set, I went back to my double-cabin and changed it’s parking position since Sly would notice it if I left it where it was. They took almost half an hour in there then I saw them walk out together through the exit. Sly was having several shopping bags in her hands and so did Teyie.
They got into the car and placed the bags at the back seat then drove off. Even though I had a visual and audio of what they were doing in the car, I just felt the urge to follow them. I started my car’s engine and followed the Ranger Rover but at a safe distance to avoid raising any suspicion.
They were headed towards Sly’s apartment. I slowed and stopped my car by the roadside after I saw that the camera did not give me the answers I was looking for. I then took my phone from the chamber I had placed it and called Mwikali once again. The way she answered the call, I could tell that she was with someone.
“Yes Mr. Haman, how may I help you?” She asked.
“Is Mr. Teyie back? I need to inquire with him about something.” I said.
I was confident that Bright was not at the office since I saw him with my two eyes drive Sly home but to my surprise, Mwikali handed over the phone to Mr. Teyie.
“Yes Haman, am told that you wish to speak to me.” I heard Mr. Teyie’s voice ask on the phone.
“Yes sir, I needed to consult with you about expanding of my office. We are sharing my office with my secretary and I am not comfortable with that. Is it possible to expand the office or maybe divide it?” I quickly cooked up an issue.
“I will consult with your GM and see what can be done.” He replied.
“Okay sir, thank you.” I said then hanged up the call.
I opened the clip recorded by the camera and watched closely. I could not see his face clearly since he was facing in front so I decided to listen to his voice; that was when I realized that the camera had a default recording sound, I had installed it without setting up the audio recorder.
I got bored and I was about to logout the camera when I saw the car pull over and was parked near a bush which was a few metres to Silvia’s house. Sly then removed the safety belt and leaned towards Teyie, she was k-ssing him.
He removed his seat belt as well and I could see his hands on Sly’s chest. All along, I had not noticed that Sly had changed her clothes.
When she left the house, she was wearing a decent long dress which was made of African Kitenge; now she was wearing a white top and a red mini skirt…
