“Mr Rex, sir… Your manager is here. He’s waiting downstairs.. “My maid said with a bowl.

I looked at her and sighed.

What does that interfering manager of mine want now?!

I bid the maid to leave and she did.

She’s just an old woman my mom hired for me but am gonna fire her soon.

She’s too obedient for my liking.

I grabbed the paper beside me and left the room. I rushed down the stairs and there he was sitting on my chair drinking vodka.

He scoffed when he saw me.

“Look at you Rex, you’re a mess!” He snapped.

I grinned.

“Am not in the mood for the T.c”I said calling him by his initials.

“Let me take a look at the lyrics” He said stretching his hand to me.

I rolled my eyes as I handed it to him.

He looked at it for a while reading the words.

He looked at me.

“What is this? “He asked waving the paper in the air.

“The song you asked me to right of course”.

He chuckled.

“You’re better than this Rex. I can’t believe this is what you got! This is the only thing you came up with?

“It has no emotion in It. It’s got nothing at all – no love, no hate, no passion… No meaning! “He lashed out.

I scoffed

“Do you think this is easy? “I barked angrily.

“Don’t you dare raise your voice at me Rex! This deal is what you need to be the best in Korea.

“Everyone knows SLICE management is the best in this country. All you need to do is to drop a solo, and you’re in!

“It’s just going to be you before the camera Rex, not four boys singing.. “He grouse impatiently.

“The inspiration is not there Tc.” I muttered.

He glanced at me and shook his head.

“What’s that supposed to mean? “He asked.

I ignored him as I sat on a sofa.

“If you want to have a good place of inspiration, you need to isolate yourself for a while Rex. Start afresh a bit. Go to your Hometown. Dig deep. “He said and I just looked at him.

“Go back to my hometown? “.

He nodded.

“Get a pet to keep you company… “.

I cut him off.

“Have you forgotten am a celebrity? “I asked.

He scoffed.

“You’ll drop to nobody if you don’t write this song with understanding and every bit of passion in you”.

I raked my hair backwards.

He’s right.

I have to pull it together and write this song.

“Okay… Fine. Tell me a good pet store” I jibed.

He smiled.

🌠Pinkie’s pov

I was tired as I woke up from my little nap in my cage.

The pet store is not so rowdy as usual.

The door opened and Jeff and Lisa, the workers at the pet store gasped as a guard in suit came in.

He made way and another guy walked in.

He was covered in shining jewelries.

He had three rings in his fingers and they were huge

He’s cute and have bright eyes..

Just so adorable with his pink l-ips.

I couldn’t take my eyes off him.

“Oh my God, it’s Rex! “Lisa gasped happily and excitedly.

I’ve never seen her be this jittery.

But come to think of it, the Rex guy looked familiar… Oh!

I’ve seen him singing on a show once.

He was with three other guys.

I think they were called, the Popboys.

“we are so glad to have such a star like you here sir Rex! “Jeff said.

He almost bowed.

Wow!

This Rex guy is given so much respect.

“I want a dog” Rex spoke for the first time.

His voice was so gentle.

Like music to my ears…

“Oh! We have all kinds of dogs sir, come take a look and choose”.

“What gender sir? “Lisa asked.

“I want a female”Rex said.

He turned his head and when he saw me. He started coming to our corner.

MY heart was beating fast and it felt like it would pop right out.

deep within me, I wish he buys me!

He gets touched my cage as he stared into my eyes like he knew me.

He was looking intently at me.

“I want this one…”he said…
