Pa Brian walked to meet Mr Chap after the meeting had ended and all the board members had voted Raymond back in.
He cleared his throat. “How did you survive all these while and even became a world known designer?”.
Mr Chap chuckled as he took off his hat. “Brian Roland, the only thing that I can say to you right now is that, I have an instinct that you will try to protect your daughter and stop my plans”.
“I am a man of strong principles”.
“You are a man that can do anything for his family”.
Pa Brian cleared his throat. “Jennifer’s health got worse when she had a miscarriage”.
“Health?”.
“My only daughter is not mentally sound. I have plans for her”.
“Mentally sound or not, she needs to go to jail”.
“Do you know when I will finally give up on her? It is when she crosses the edge”.
“Jennifer is rash. She will definitely come at me and my family despite the load of bodyguards I am guarding them with. That daughter of yours is desperate. She will do everything to strike her plans. I know that woman even more than you do. I took the risk of showing myself because your son is my son in law and I wouldn’t want his position to be taken from him just like that”.
“I have assigned two spies to watch her. If she cross the edge, I will give you a treasure”.
“What treasure is that?”.
“It will only be released if she crosses the edge”.
Mr Chap shrugged. “Well, I had in mind of making my child divorce your son because I can now give my daughter a good life but I stopped because of something”.
“What?”.
“Gold is carrying a Roland in her womb”.
Tears filled Raymond’s eyes as he hugged me. “Till the end! You protected me to the end! I feel so ashamed of myself right now!So ashamed!!!”.

We burst into laughter.
He cleared his throat as if remembering something. “Are you telling me that the famous mr Chap is your biological father?”.
I chuckled. “What do you think?”.
He rolled his eyes. “…someone is now proving for me because she has a famous father”.
I burst into laughter. “Someone sounds jealous right now”.
He squeezed at my cheek. “What is this naughty girl feeling like huh? “.
I gave him my pregnancy result and watched him look into it.
He gasped at me. “Don’t tell me… don’t tell me that you are pregnant?”.
Tears of joy filled my eyes as I nodded at him.
He scre-med and carried me up in the air. “My wife is pregnant!My wife is pregnant!!!”. He cried out.
I laughed as he turned me around.
He was so happy.
Jennifer Roland cut her hair short with a pair of scissors as she remained in her hideout with Matilda.
She had not gone back to the mansion because she knew that everyone was going to attack her there if she returned because of the atrocities she had almost caused with the board of directors.
But she was going to break the last straw.
She was going to commit the greatest form of manslaughter and go to prison.
She had to locate Gold anywhere she was and kill her and also kill Raymond.
She had lost the battle because of Gold.
She was going to make everyone feel the pain that she had felt when she had lost a child.
That baby that they were all expecting from Gold, she was going to crush it.
Matilda sobbed uncontrollably. “So, I have totally lost my chance with Raymond?”.
“Once I kill Gold, people will suspect you and I”.
Matilda panicked. “Raymond will hate me for life”.
“Matilda, the only way you can get this off your mind is by ending your life because more mystery will be unravelled”.
Matilda nodded. “I have to end my life so that I will feel better”.
Jennifer Roland threw a dagger to her.
Matilda sobbed heartily as she held the dagger to her stomach. “Mum, I am sorry but I can’t live without Raymond, I can’t!”. She stabbed herself with the dagger.
Jennifer Roland smiled to herself as she watched Matilda lie in a pool of blood and cry out in pains. “I wanted you to kill yourself so that when I try to kill Raymond, you wouldn’t stop me”. She kicked her and walked to look out of the window.
She watched the spies that grandfather had sent to watch her and smiled to herself.
She was going to sneak out through the evil door.
Just as I had ordered Fabian, he released the duplicate video online and the news spread that Henry Roland was the one that had gotten me hospitalized.
Laura trembled. “This will also implicate my brother. What are we going to do?”.
I smiled. “That is the plan. To implicate Fabian”.
“What do you mean?”.
“Collins will either send someone or come himself to challenge Fabian .This is a trap to catch both Henry Roland and Collins Roland”.
Charity sobbed uncontrollably as the police handcuffed her husband. “Please, he didn’t mean to! Please I am begging you!!!”.
Pa Brian appeared behind her. “You had a hand in this too! You all were assigned to kill my grandson! Why are your hearts like stone huh? Why!!!”.
Charity grit her teeth. “Collins, you will pay for this”.
“Collins? What did Collins do?”.
“Collins also had a hand in this. He had connived with my husband to put the portion in the meal that Raymond had tasted that day. If my husband goes to jail, Collins has to go too”.
Pa Brian looked around the house. “Where is Collins?”.
“Collins just left the house sir”. Maid Candelaria answered.
“To where???”.
Collins drove to Fabian’s house.
He knocked on the door and Raymond opened.
He walked in and fumed at him. “What happened? You made a duplicate of that video?”.
“Duplicate? If I had done that, will I still be here?”.
“The video was the total copycat of what you had captured that day”.
“Do you know Dani Lan? I think he was also there that day. He was the one that captured the video that was released online”.
“You liar!”.
“I have a sister that I have to protect! How will I lie to you?”.
Collins brought out a gun from his jeans pocket and pointed it at him. “Now,will you tell me the truth or end your life? Someone bribed you to do this, right?”.
The police walked into the house.
Gold Roland followed from behind.
He knew it.
He knew that he was trapped forever as soon as he saw Gold Roland.
