WaitâŠ.what? She needs sanitary pads,isnât she from another world? Does ladies there use sanitary pads?
âI know what you are thinking Lin but truly,the ladies in my kingdom do use it.We are humans just that we are unique,blessed with magical powersâ.She said and I nodded.
âFine! I will get you some tomorrow or better still,give you some money to get it yourselfâ.I said and she beamed.
âI will go get it myself tomorrowâ.She said and I giggled silently.

âSo,when is that friend of yours gonna come?â.Belle asked while washing the dishes in the kitchen.
Well,I told her about the party while we were eating our dinner and she wanted to come along,I agreed after she put on her puppy face.I couldnât resist that..
The time was 7:39pm and am soon gonna go to my room to prepare for the party.
âAt 8pmâ.I said and she gasped.
âGosh! Itâs almost timeâ.She half yelled and i nodded.
âYeah,I would go to my room to prepare. You should go prepare tooâ.I said.
âI would when am done washingâ.She said and I walked to my room.
I wore a fancy red shirt and blue jean short with some cutting done at the end.I washed my hair and later dried it with my hair dryer then I styled it in a style which look good. I chose a red classy canvas to march with my shirt and when I was done I walked out of my room.
âHey dude!â.Brandon said when he saw me walking to the living room.Oh! He is here already.
He was dressed in a dark shirt,dark short and dark cap which was turned to the back of his head giving him the bad boy look.His ear was pierced and a earring was placed there.He looked like a bad guy.
âHi,Brandâ.I said and he smiled.
âWe should get going,itâs 8pm alreadyâ.He said and I sighed.
Where is Belle? Is she still dressing up?
âNo,not yet.A female friend of mine is coming alone,she is still dressing up I thinkâ.I said and he laughed.
âA friend of yours stays with you here?â.He asked and I rolled my eyes.
âYep,her name is Belleâ.
âOkay then I will waitâ.He said but a voice cut him off.
âNo need for that,am done alreadyâ.Belle said and we both stared at her and I must admit,I couldnât believe my eyes.
She wore a dashing red armless gown with some strips of black and a beautiful red heel.Her hair was w-t but it sparkle with the way it landed on her face and back.
âOh my Gosh!â.Brandon yelled,looking so shocked.
âWh..atâs w..rong? Am i looking bad?â.Belle spluttered.
âN..o,you look gorgeousâ.I said and she blushed.
âThanks Lin,you look handsomeâ.She said and I smiled.
âI thought you said she was your friend,she must be your girlfriendâ.Brandon whispered to me and I chuckled.
Sincerely,Belle is a very beautiful and gorgeous young lady and I just canât take my eyes off her.She got the looks,she got a good character and besides she is friendly and easy going but I donât know why I donât want her to be my girlfriend maybe itâs she got powers and came from another world.
âHmm Lin,I need your hair dryer to dry my hairâ.She said and I smiled.
âDo you want me to dry it or do you want to dry it yourself?â.I asked.
âI want you to dry itâ.She said.
âLetâs go to my room thenâ.
I connected the plug to a socket when we got to my room and I began drying her hair which was busy flying about.I saw her close her eyes and I realized she love the hair dryer on her hair.
âAm doneâ.I said and kept the dryer back after disconnecting it.
â Okayâ.She said and we both walked out of the room to the living room where Brandon was.
I caught Brandon flirting with Belle and I frowned before we left to the party.

Wow! The house where the party was hosted was quite big and beautiful.Beautiful and sweet scented flowers surrounded the house adding much beauty to it.
An inscription was written at the top of the house,it was âWelcome To Saraâs Birthday Partyâ.
People were busy drinking and dancing to the tune of the music being played.The house was noisy and seriously,the air smells of alcohol.To take a breath was difficult because you must inhale the horrible smell.
âI donât like this place,Linâ.Belle said and I nodded slowly.
I donât like this party too,it doesnât look like a birthday party.
âI will meet the celebrant and of course,dance with some pretty ladiesâ.Brandon smirked and walked away.What a guy!
âWhy is the music too loud? I canât even hear myselfâ.Belle yelled,obviously at the disc jockey.
âNo matter how much you yell Belle,no one will reduce the volume of the music so please stop yellingâ.I yell back too cause of the high music and she nodded.
We didnât talk to each other for minutes and when I started feeling uncomfortable I decided to say something.
âDo you probably want to sit?â.I asked,realizing that we have been standing since we came.
âOf course Lin,my feet hurtsâ.She whined and I began searching for a seat for the both of us. I didnât take long before I found an empty couch and both I and Belle sat on it.
âUh Lin,I want to take a drink.Do you mind?â.She asked,watching my expression.I just gave a slight nod.
âNo,I will get a drink for you Belâ.I said and she smiled before I walked to the barman.
âHey man! Any soft drinks?â.I asked but he shook his head.
âNah,only alcoholic drinksâ.He said and I sighed,walking back to Belle.
âDidnât you get any?â.She asked as soon as I got closer to her.
âI didnât get any, their were no soft drinksâ.I said.
âBut..these people are taking drinks from the barmanâ.She said confused as she glanced at those taking drinks from the barman.
âWell,those drinks are alcoholic and it isnât good for your healthâ.I said and she stared at those dancing crazily.They were drunk! Anyone would tell from they behavior.
âUm..Lin,will you like to dance with me?â.She said softly when a slow heart touching song was played.
âOho! I will love toâ.I gasped and she nodded shyly,taking my hand in hers.
I held her by the wa-ist with my right hand while my left hand was holding her left hand.She was holding me on my neck with her right hand and we both were staring into each otherâs eyes.
That was when I noticed how red her face was.
âYou blush too easily Belâ.I teased her and her face got redder.
âI blush only when am with you Lin.You make me feel shy and awkward,you make me feel strange.Am so glad you allowed me to stay with you even after knowing who I am,even after knowing I got magical powers but I donât know why I want you to be special to me.I like you Lin but..i donât know the kind of like I feel.You are confusing me Linâ.She blunted out and I felt surprised.
Wow! I never knew she liked me or perhaps could it be love? No,thatâs not love..itâs just like.
âI donât know what to sayâ.Of course,i was speechless.
She nodded and bit her l-ips embarrassed. Geez! Her l-ipsâŠ
I stared at it and when i was about doing the unexpected to it,the jerk Brandon interrupted. Gosh!
âLincoln,i have something to discuss with youâ.He said and I pouted in annoyance.
âWell,the celebrant wants to see you.I donât know why but she said you look familiar.We actually passed you guys some minutes ago and she was surprised when she saw youâ.He said and I felt confused.
How am I familiar to her? Who is she? I donât want to meet her or leave Belle alone but am so curious.
âOkay,i will go with youâ.I said and turned to Belle who looked disappointed.
âDonât worry Belle besides I will be back soon but while am away,donât drink any drink.Sit here and please donât move away and thirdly,please donât sleepâ.I said and walk away with Brandon.
