Three months has passed since I left Timothy’s cell.I do visit him but only the times his mum beg me to.
Yeah,his mum always visit him and she never gets tired of beging the cops to release him though the case was taken to court some weeks ago and after lots of evidence that Timothy was innocent,a judgment was passed that he would stay in cell for a year for all the other crimes he had committed.
Poor him! He have become so thin and unhappy, anytime I visit him I always meet him crying. If he is not crying then he would be at a corner looking so gloomy. I do pity him but it was his fault he was in bars, only if he had never become friends with those boys.
After a week passed since Belle’s interrogation I met Mr Chris,Abby fiance or should I say ex fiance.
He apologized to me for Abby’s reaction in the restaurant, I had told him it was okay but he refused saying that I shouldn’t forgive him so quickly. He said I should be one of his workers in his cosmetics company!
Oh My Gosh! I was so excited, I agreed immediately and began work the next day though I was willing to began work the day he told me but he said I should prepare myself and get ready.
My first pay was huge! It was $2000 dollars! I couldn’t believe my eyes,both I and Belle were overjoyed.
And talking of Belle,Mr Rick pleaded with her to work as a salesgirl again in another supermarket of his. He said it was to compensate her for whatever happened in the fire.
Belle began the job and using the $2000 dollars which was my salary,I refurnished the house I and Belle live from a flat to a two storey building. Though the money wasn’t enough but Mr Chris kindly supported with $5000 dollars.He is so nice!
My mum,yes my mum,I met her again few weeks ago and she told me her husband wants to divorce her,she said he heard our conversation the last time we met.
It didn’t concern me in fact I wanted to laugh at her predicament and say it serves her right but darn it,she was still my mum. Her words and mine can never change that.
I felt pity for her and went to plead with her husband, I told him it wasn’t my mum’s fault.
She only wanted to enjoy her life, she have suffered enough while she lived with me and now that she got what she wished for,please don’t take that away from her.
I had told him and he was surprised saying that he expected me to beg him to divorce my mum but I told him I wasn’t like that.
He later destroyed the divorce papers and took mum back in as his wife,I was even given an opportunity to meet my siblings.
It was a girl and a boy.The girl was six years old and little boy was three years old,that was when I occurred to me that mum was pregnant with the girl before she abandoned me and I never noticed.
Anyways,things were going well for I and Belle.I had even engaged her and we are planning our wedding though I haven’t still met my dad but I wish that I would meet him one day.

“Tik…Tik..Tik”.That was the sound made as Belle walked down the stairs with stilettos.
She was putting on a blue sparkling gown which hugged her body revealing all her curves.Her hair which was now wavy was let down brushing her back and least I forget,her face which was filled with a little bit makeup glowed as she smiled with her l-ips which was rubbed with l¡pstick.
Oh Belle! She always look beautiful each passing day.
“Hey Lin,how do I look?”.She smiled picking on her fingernails which was painted blue.
I had forced her to paint her nails though she disagreed but after her nails got done, she was like ‘Wow! This looks so beautiful”.
“You look beautiful..as always”.I winked and she blushed,her face going pink.
I stood from the couch I was sitting on with a smile plastered on my face.I wore a matching blue tee shirt, blue designer jean p-nt and also a blue canvas with some strips of white.My hair was brushed backwards and damn,I know I look handsome even without being told.
“So where are we going to? You promised to tell me”.She bit her l-ips giving me a sed-ctive look and I scoffed.
“It is a secret”.I said and she rolled her eyes.
“You promised to tell me!”.
“I promised and I broke it cause I have my reasons.So please can we go now?”.I asked and she hesitated a little before grabbing a light blue handbag from the couch.
We both walked out of the house but Belle stopped suddenly.
“Geez! This heels hurts”.She winced.
“You don’t wanna ruin our first date,do you?”.I asked and she shook her head.
“No but we could board a cab,huh?”.She said and I sighed.
We boarded a cabby and the driver began driving but soon enough,the car stopped on a road filled with cars and vehicles.
“Hey,why did you stop?”.I asked him feeling so confused.
“There is no way,sir. A lot of cars are on the way,I guess there is traffic jam”.He said and I gasped.
“Then why did you take this way?”.
“Am sorry sir”.
“Just reverse this car,let’s take another way”.I said but he shook his head.
“I can’t sir,a lot of cars are now behind us” He said and I stared backwards at the window of the car and truly, a lot of cars were behind us making it impossible to reverse.
“This is crazy!”.I muttered,ruffling my neatly combed hair.
“What’s it Lin?”.Belle asked operating her phone.
She have grown too fond of that phone,if you see Belle without that phone then that’s not Belle.
“Seriously, why does it have it happened on our first date?”.I scowled ignoring her question.

After a hour of being stuck on the road,the road finally began clear and the car began driving.We stopped at our destination and I paid the driver before he left.
“Wow! Five Star Restaurant, isn’t this the biggest restaurant in the country?”.Belle said and I nodded.
“Yeah,it is.Come on! Let’s go in!”.
We went in and since the 1st floor was occupied,we took the elevator to the 2nd floor and luckily we found two empty seats around a table.We were approaching the seats when Belle bumped into a teen boy who was walking to the VIP section.
“Oh My Gosh! Am so sorry”.Belle apologized but the boy just walked away like if nothing ever happened.
“Hey! So sorry for that,he is kinda grumpy”.A girl who was walking besides the boy said and Belle nodded.
“Ohh..okay”.
“I should go now,bye!”.The girl said and walked away.
“I don’t know Lin but the aura coming from that boy doesn’t seem so friendly”.Belle said and I scoffed.
“What do you mean?”.
“Uh,nothing.We should just forget about that”.She giggled slightly and walked to the table we saw earlier while I followed after her.
We ordered our food and we began eating but Belle broke the silence.
“My mum..she once told me something when I found out Prince Gary was my betrothed.Do you want to know what she said?”.Belle asked but I shook my head,drinking a glass of water.
“I don’t want to know.Let the silence be and let’s eat,you know what they say,table manners”.I said feeling a bit angered with the mention of the name ‘Gary’.
“Aiissh,Lin! This is our first date,be nice and um..what do they call it?Oh..yes,rom-ntic”.She said rolling her eyes.
“Fine! What did your mum say?”.I asked uninterested.
“She said love is rare and whenever you see someone who wants to marry you,grab the opportunity. She said it doesn’t matter whether you are meant to be with someone. She said ‘Belle,it doesn’t matter whether Gary loves you or not,it doesn’t even matter whether you are meant to be with him or not.All that matters is the respect people will give to you when you are his queen’.I believed her!”.She said sighing sadly.
“So,why are you telling me all this?”.I asked.
“Cause well I realized she was wrong.Love isn’t rare,love is in us but we just fail to feel it and it does matter whether you are meant to be with someone or not because if you are married to someone who you are not meant to be with,the marriage might not go on smoothly like planned. Also,it doesn’t matter about the respect given to you by people when you are married or in a relationsh¡p. Come on! You aren’t getting married to the people,you are getting married to a partner and you should care only about the respect and love given to you by your partner not that of the people.Like you and I for example.. We love each other,we respect each other, that’s all that matters.I love you so much Lin”.She confessed and I smiled widely.
“You know,when I met you for the first time I never thought I would fall for you in fact if a priest would have told me I would love you so deeply,I would have laugh and mock the priest.Falling in love with THE STRANGE GIRL I met sounds cranky itself but I did anyway and here we are looking happy.Do you want to know something?”.I asked and she chuckled.
“What?”.
“I love you more than the word much,if there was any other bigger word apart from much trust me,I would have used it”.I said and tears formed in her eyes.
“Oh Lin!”.She mouthed and before the count of two,I drew her closer to myself before k-ssing the hell out of her l-ips.
