🚺Rosa’s POV 🚺
Bad Boy blacked out and I gently dropped his head. I reached out for my phone with shaking hands and dialed Leon’s number. I was so scared and my legs were trembling
📲hello Leon come to Bad Boy’s room now please
📲what’s wrong with….
📲just come here now!
📲okay I’m coming
I hung up and squatted down.
Me: Bad Boy?
I shook him a little and my tears dropped. Bad Boy is hiding something from me, I knew he wasn’t okay. Something is wrong with him
The door opened and Leon came in. He immediately looked down
Leon: oh my God. What happened to him?
He squatted immediately
Me: I don’t know. We were. we were fighting when I kicked him on his stomach and he fell. Suddenly he began to cough out blood and he passed out
He brought out his phone and dialed a number
Leon: hello.. Eun Soo.. Where are you? Come over now!…… At the mansion
He hung up
Leon: get me a napkin
I hurried to the drawer and pulled one out. I gave it to Leon and he wiped Bad Boy’s face
Leon: go and get some warm water and disinfectant
Me: okay
I entered the bathroom and washed my hands. I took the disinfectant and dropped it in the room before running downstairs to get water
I quickly warmed water and took it upstairs. Leon made me clean his entire face with the water and I also removed his jacket so he would get direct air.
Leon called Eun Soo again
Leon: dude where are you?
The door opened and he walked in
Eun Soo : I’m here
Leon: great. Please attend to Bad Boy, he is coughing out blood
Eun Soo : what? What did you guys do to him?
Me: I… I kicked him in his stomach and…
Eun Soo : you did what? Why would you do that? I don’t even think that’s what you did, because a kick can’t make Bad Boy sick. Rosa, did you do something else?
Me: what?
Leon: Eun Soo, can you please forget about what happened to him and treat him? Stop interrogating Rosa, she’s in a dilemma right now. Just do your job and get out!
Eun Soo sighed and walked to the bed, he examined Bad Boy and then brought out his kit. He did some medical stuff that I don’t understand
Leon brought a stool for me to sit down
Me: thank you but I rather stand
Leon: you look tensed up Rosa, if you don’t sit down you might as well black out
I sighed and sat on the stool
Me: thank you
He smiled and went out of the room
Eun Soo was calculating something with the look on his face. He was also writing some things down on a notepad. I looked down at my fingers and sighed deeply
Eun Soo : are you nervous?
I looked at him then at Bad Boy who was still motionless
Eun Soo : you don’t have to be. Bad Boy never gets hurt.
Me: before, I thought he will never get hurt by anyone. I thought he can never get depressed, I even thought he was immortal. But right now, I feel like he’s going to go through everything I listed. I don’t know why I have a Bad feeling about him…. Eun Soo, something is wrong with Bad Boy
My eyes welled up with tears and it eventually dropped.
Eun Soo : stop having such thoughts. Trust me when I say nothing can happen to him. Trust me
I sighed and nodded. I wiped my tears and tucked my hair behind my ear
Leon came back in with a glass of juice, he gave it to me and I thanked him with a smile
Leon: so… What exactly is wrong with him?
Eun Soo : he…
He looked at me then continued
Eun Soo : I think it’s high time Bad Boy stopped smoking. It’s really affecting him. Rosa, can you make him stop? His lungs are getting weaker by the day
Me: I’ll try
Eun Soo : good, I’ve prescribed some drugs for him. You should get them before he wakes up. Before then, I’ll put him on drip
He then fixed it to the window and injected it into Bad Boy
Eun Soo : this will keep his body hydrated and make him stronger until he wakes up
Leon: thanks man
Eun Soo : the pleasure is mine
He arranged his kit and stood to go
Me: thank you so much Eun Soo
He smiled at me and left. I sighed sadly and stood up, I dropped the glass of juice which I haven’t even touched and sat beside Bad Boy
Leon: he looks pathetic
Me: I hope he doesn’t hear that
Leon: me too
I chuckled and arranged his hair gently. I rubbed my thumb on his cheek and smiled.
He really looks pathetic
Who knew Bad Boy could be this weak?
Leon: do you know if he ate lunch?
Me: I don’t know but I dropped some food for him. I don’t know if he ate it
Leon: you should check. If he didn’t eat it, then you can warm it up so he’ll eat it when he wakes up
Me: okay
I stood up and walked to my room. I checked the food
Me: he ate it
I shrugged and packed the dishes. I took them downstairs and washed them.
I checked the time, it was just three hours to the contest. I don’t think it will hold, I can’t fight in this mood and since Bad Boy won’t be there, it can’t stand
I went back upstairs and met Leon calling someone while sitting close to Bad Boy
He looked back and saw me
Leon: excuse me.. I’ll call you back
He hung up and dropped the phone
Leon: uhm Rosa, why don’t you go and buy the drugs for Bad Boy? You need to fresh out
Me: okay I will
He brought out his credit card and gave me the prescription
Me: I’ll be back early
Leon: when you get back, make sure you look brighter than now
I smiled and left
🚹Leon’s POV 🚹
Immediately Rosa left, I called Max
📲I just sent Rosa to get drugs for Bad Boy
📲are you crazy? Why would you do that?
📲chill, I got someone trailing her
📲okay, like I always tell you, keep an eye on her
📲sure, bye
I dropped the phone and looked at Bad Boy, I laughed.
Me: bastard
I stood up and turned to go when Bad Boy spoke up
Bad Boy : I heard you
I turned, not totally surprised. I’m used to Bad Boy in all ramifications. So he hærdly takes me unawares
Me: you’re awake?
Bad Boy : no.. I’m not
His eyes were closed
Me: then.. Are you sleep-talking?
Bad Boy : maybe
I sighed and sat beside him again
Me: I sent Rosa out
Bad Boy : just make sure that person trailing her does his job well. I need to hear all the gist from him
Me: what gist?
Bad Boy : Rosa is gonna kick some asses
I stood up
Me: I’ll be right back
I raced out of the room and out of the house. I entered my car and traced Rosa’s phone then zoomed off
🚺Rosa’s POV🚺
There’s a pharmacist who’s store 🏪 is very close to my former work place. I decided to go there so I could also say hi to him. He’s really nice and his drugs are genuine.
I entered my pink car which was parked in the garage, I had a spare key so I turned it on and drove out
I smiled when I remembered how I fooled Bad Boy into teaching me how to drive again. I knew how to drive before, but it was strictly manual. I didn’t know how to control and automatic car. To me, it was too smooth and easy
The first day I drove an automatic car was when Bad Boy left me in town with his car. I remember how I struggled to drive it. I didn’t know which buttons to press and I was scared. After much mistakes here and there, I finally drove to the house
I wanted to be perfect at driving all type of cars so Bad Boy had to teach me again
I smiled as I got to my former work place. Under a tree were a group of girls gossiping. I recognised them. They are the pharmacist’ daughter’s friends.
Min-Ye and friends are proud and stupid girls. They feel like they’re on top and discriminate alot. Not that they are even rich, they are just average girls. But you know, in a kingdom of blind men, a one-eyed man is a king. That’s the case of Min-Ye and her so called friends.
I parked my car few metres away from them and they all looked at it. Their mouths were wide open which means the car had caught their attention
I saw Min-Ye’s mouthing VIPERS GIRL?
I couldn’t hear them because I was still in the car and they couldn’t see me because the glasses were tinted
I opened the door and stepped out, I was wearing sunglasses and I smirked.
I walked towards them and they stood up
Me: hello
Min-Ye : hell..hello Miss
I chuckled and removed my glasses. Their mouths dropped open
Su-Won: Rosa?
Me: wow, you recognised me.
Min-Ye: how.. How did you…
Me: the car?
Ruth: everything? Are you a thief or something?
Min-Ye: and why is vipers girl on the car?
Leon: that’s because she is
We looked right and saw Leon leaning on his car
Su-Won: OMG! Isn’t that Bad Boy’s right-hand man
Min-Ye: ahhhhhh
Ruth: run
The three girls ran away
Me: haha…
Leon walked closer to me
Leon: those girls were your friends right?
Me: no.. I never had friends here
I walked towards the store and knocked. The man was about to stand up when we heard a gunshot
He got startled and fell down
Leon and I looked back.
We saw Six men with Red Light logo on them.
Me: seriously?
Leon: you deal with them. I’ll buy the drugs
The man immediately turned his notice sign from open to close.
Me: oops, there are closed.
I dragged him outside and we faced them
One of the men spoke up
Man: follow us and we won’t hurt you
Me: why do you keep saying that?
Leon: and we keep kicking your asses
Man: in China, we did a mistake by sending Two men to fight you. But this time, it’s Six to two. You’re overpowered
Me: Leon, you take three to the left. I’ll take three to the right
He nodded
They waged towards us and we ran to their back. I kicked one’s butt and he fell. Two turned and faced me, I tried to kick one’s face but he dodged and the other one kicked my tummy. I moved backwards and a gun was pointed at me by Leon
My eyes w¡dened
He smirked
Leon: relax…
Me: what are you doing?
He went behind me and held my neck
Leon scratched my chest and lowered his hand into his pocket He then slipped something into my own pocket
I checked it and it was a gun
Leon: you want the girl right? Just do as I say and I’ll hand her over to you
They looked at each other then faced us
Man: what do you want to ask?
Leon: please.. Tell your boss that he’s the most….. stupid man I’ve ever come across
He immediately released me, I brought the gun out and shot Two of the men. Leon too shot two and we were left with two
Me : go and tell your boss that vipers girl sends her greetings
I kicked them both at the same time and they fell down and blacked out
I moved to the shop and knocked. It opened and the man looked up feebly
Me: sorry for the inconvenience but can you please give me these drugs
I gave him the note and he nodded and gave me the drugs. I paid him double and he thanked me.
I don’t think he recognized me but I didn’t bother to tell him who I am. I entered my car and drove off without saying anything to Leon. I just want to see Bad Boy
I drove home and rushed to Bad Boy’s room. I saw him standing close to the window
Me: Bad Boy..
He didn’t turn to look at me
Bad Boy : I’m not going to take those drugs, just dispose them
I dropped the drugs on the bed and walked to him.
He turned and immediately, I hugged him tight.
I’m so happy he’s okay.
He hugged me back
Me: please, don’t be sick. I don’t wanna loose you
Bad Boy : you won’t loose me. Even if I go away, I promise I’ll come back. I’ll come back not because of my men, or my property. But because of my woman..
I broke down and my tears gushed down.

Bad Boy gro-ned in pain. I quickly disengaged from him
Me: are you okay? Does your tummy hurt?
He smiled
Bad Boy : I just wanna lie down
Me: please do..
I helped him to the bed and he laid down
Me: you have to take your drugs please
Bad Boy : pigs will fly before I talk them.
Me: why are you so hot headed?
Bad Boy : haha
Me: and you have to stop smoking and drinking
Bad Boy : I’ll think about that
I hit him on his tummy
Bad Boy : aaahhh
Me: sorry.. I’m sorry..
I soothed the s₱0t and sighed
Me: you don’t love your life
Bad Boy : okay, I’ll stop smoking
Me: and drinking too
Bad Boy : I stopped drinking a long time ago. I only drink orange juice now
Me: that’s true
The door opened and Max walked in
Me: hello Max
Max: hi Rosa
Bad Boy : you came to see me being sick right?
Max laughed
Max: this is the best day ever. Finally, I get to see you on sick bed
Me: how is that a good thing?
Max: in all my years with him, I haven’t seen him sick even for one day. Makes me wonder if he’s immortal. But now my doubt is cleared
Me: hahahaha, I see
Bad Boy : baby, excuse us
Me: okay
I k-ssed him and left the room. I went to the living room and saw Leon speaking with some men
Me: excuse me
He waved them off and came to me
Me: please, how does Bad Boy get his cigarettes?
Leon: he has a store filled with them, about thirty cartons and each has 50 packets
Me: wow, and you all take them?
Leon: no, it’s for him only
Me: oh jeez.. Can you take me there?
Leon: sure, let’s go now
I followed him to the back of the house where he opened a store
Me: oh my goodness. Is smoking food?
Leon: it is to us
Me: you better stop smoking too
Leon: pigs will fly
Me: what’s with you guys and that pigs will fly
Leon: it’s a way of saying that it’s impossible for us to do something.
Me: which means that until pigs fly, you won’t do it
Leon: yes, and it’s impossible for pigs to fly
Me: I get it now
Leon: so why do you want to see this place
Me: dispose all these boxes and don’t take any of them for your own use
Leon: what? Why?
Me: because I don’t want Bad Boy to have access to them
Leon: but..
Me: will you burn them or should I do it?
He was quiet and staring at me
I sighed and walked out of the store. I took my phone and called the community garbage truckers. I gave them my address and soon, a truck came to the gate. I ordered the security guard to open the gate. The truck came in and I told some men to help in loading the boxes into the truck.
I stood there and watched them do the job. I made sure everything was in,side the truck. Then I paid them to dispose it.
I went back upstairs to meet Bad Boy
Bad Boy : it’s good you did it yourself. You shouldn’t depend on Leon for everything
Me: you know about it?
Bad Boy : is there something that goes on here and I don’t know about?
I smiled and sat beside him
Bad Boy : I also told Leon not to do it
Me: how?
Bad Boy : I texted him
I chuckled and hugged him
Me: you’re so perfect
Bad Boy : I won’t want to believe that
Me: should I get you something to eat?
Bad Boy : just get me something to drink, I’m not hungry yet
Me: okay
I stood up and went downstairs, I got a full juice box and took it upstairs with two glasses. I filled the glasses in his room and he sat up and collected a glass from me
Bad Boy : come and seat here
He hit his palm on the space between his legs (on the bed)
I sat there and he cuddled me
My eyes caught sight of the bar in his room. He traced my gaze
Bad Boy : you want to dispose that too?
Me: they’re quite expensive, right?
Bad Boy : yep.
Me: I won’t dispose them, but I’ll count and mark them.
Bad Boy : haha, just in case I touch them?
I nodded and smiled
Later, Bad Boy went to the bathroom. I quickly took his drugs and the juice box. I went to the door of the bathroom and opened the juice. I poured the drugs in it and looked at the door, just to make sure he wasn’t seeing me.
I shook the juice to dissolve the drugs then I gently placed it on the table. I sat on the bed and waited for him to come out. When he did, I poured out another glass for him. I made sure he drank some before I left the room. I went to my room, showered and went downstairs.
It was already time for the contest, I still want it to hold so I’m going to fight, with or without Bad Boy
I went to the front of the house where they were already gathered. I came to the front
When I stood there, they all became quiet and were all staring at me
Me: good evening from me to The Vipers. Today, we’re going to have a contest. Anyone of you who desires to fight with me can step forward.
No one moved a finger. They were just staring at me.
Bad Boy : I think you omitted something. You’re The Vipers Girl, and you need ten loyal men who would be your personal men. Anyone who fights with skill will be chosen. Also, after me, it’s her now. So she’s your new boss. The empress to the emperor
I smirked and crossed my arms. Everyone had turned to look at him, he just came outside and he’s still standing on the facade
Bad Boy : so If you’re interested, stand up
They began to stand up, about fifteen men stood up.
They came to the front and lined up
Bad Boy : you have five minutes to fight with each of them
I nodded
The first person stepped up and the fighting began. I easily defeated him and smiled to myself
Me: this is going to be easy
Then the second person came, I thought he was going to be soft as the first man but I was wrong. I got the worst punch of my life. I then knew that I was not in a comedy show. I tightened my fist and began to fight like my wh0le life depended on it
The man was really strong but I was quick to find his weakness which is his neck. I gave him a blow on his neck and he staggered backwards and fell. The next man came forward, we fought and I defeated him. But I didn’t defeat the next man after him, he was a black man with dreadlocks. He beat me down
I’m definitely going to choose him in my team.
I kept fighting and fighting till it was over. I sighed and fell down then closed my eyes cause I was really exhausted
They began to clap and I sat up.
Bad Boy : that was a nice show. Now pick you men
Me: can we do that tomorrow morning? Please
I was already going out of breath
Bad Boy : you’re all dismissed. Leon, bring her in,side
He went in,side first before they began to disperse. Leon helped me up and we went in,side together
Leon : your room?
Me: no, Bad Boy’s.
He sighed and helped me up the stairs. He left me at Bad Boy’s door. I knocked and he opened few minutes later
Bad Boy : in pain right?
Me: ahhh, my wh0le body hurts
He chuckled and helped me in,side, I sat on the bed and he brought a blanket for me
Me: thanks
Bad Boy : I’ll get you some ice
He left the room and I cuddled up to be warm. He came back later with a tray containing food and some ice. He fed me and applied ice to the part that hurts me.
After that, we laid down and I slept off in his arms almost immediately
👞Bad Boy 👞
It’s already two months since Rosa became the talk of the town. Everyone was talking about her, but she wasn’t doing bad things like I do. She was beating up bad guys, and donating money to poor people. At first I wasn’t happy with it, but I figured out that, that’s who she is.
And I love her that way.
Well, I’m going to Japan tomorrow with Leon and Eun Soo. I added him because he’s going to inject a blood-like substance into them. So when they’re injured, blood will come out and it will be impossible to know that it’s not me.
I went to Rosa’s room and opened it without knocking
Me: hi
Rosa: you’ll never learn how to knock
Me: it’s a good thing you know
She laughed and I hugged her
Me: I’ll be leaving tomorrow
Rosa: I know and tomorrow is just a few hours
Me: won’t you come with me
Rosa: no, I have to stay here and look things over. We both can’t leave
Me: okay, if you say so
She smiled and closed her closet
Me: can I spend the night here with you. Don’t ask me why?
Rosa: I wasn’t even gonna ask why?
I chuckled and sat on the bed
Me: can I get some orange juice
Rosa: we’ll have to go downstairs together then
Me: before I come back from Japan, make sure you get a fridge here and fill it with orange juice. I’m tired of always going downstairs
Rosa : hahaha, aye aye captain
She saluted, I laughed and followed her downstairs
👞Leon 👞
Bad Boy was still hugging and placing k-sses on Rosa’s face, all in the name of saying goodbye. I entered the car with Eun Soo
Eun Soo : those two are very much in love
Me: yeah
Eun Soo : you sound jealous
Me: I don’t have your time
He smirked and looked at them again. I sighed and looked away
I just hope Bad Boy doesn’t hurt Rosa in anyway in the future, if he does… I won’t hesitate to take his place
Finally, the good bye was over. Bad Boy entered his car and drove out, I started mine and followed him. We kept driving and arrived at the airport. We got into his plane and got ready for takeoff.
The plane kept flying for some hours which was more than the usual time to arrive at Japan
Me: Bad Boy, why are we still flying?
He didn’t answer, I stood up from my seat and went to his. He was looking really sick
When did he start getting plane sick?
Me: Bad Boy, are you okay?
Bad Boy : no, I don’t feel so good
Me: let me get you some water
I stood up and brought water for him, Eun Soo was sleeping and I didn’t want to bother him.
Soon Bad Boy too fell asleep, we kept flying for three more hours and then finally, I felt the plane descending. I quickly Sat down and waited for it to land fully. It was already evening and I smelt something fishy
Later, the door opened by itself and then armed men rushed in,side and surrounded us
I was confused, Bad Boy woke up but Eun Soo was still sleeping
I looked at their faces and noticed they were from Red Light. I tapped Eun Soo and signalled to him that there was danger
Bad Boy stood up and they tried to rush him down. He began to beat them up, Eun Soo and I tried to beat the other men. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. I looked down and saw that I was pierced with a knife. I looked at the hand that held the knife then I looked at the face
Me: Eun Soo?
He laughed
Eun Soo : sorry buddy, but I’m tired of you and your stupid Bad Boy. You guys are the worst, not knowing how to treat people but yourselves only. I went to the side where they truly need me
Bad Boy : I knew it, I knew I couldn’t trust you!
Eun Soo : or shut up! You’re no longer the boss here, I am.
He shot Bad Boy’s leg.
He gro-ned in pain and fell down on his knees
Eun Soo : who knew the Bad Boy could kneel down to someone like me?
Bad Boy : I’m not kneeling down to you
Eun Soo : break that mouth of his
The guy beside him punched his mouth and it busted his l-ips
Eun Soo: do you know you’ve been taking poison? Yes, I’ve been secretly putting poison into the food or drink you take. The other day, when you bled. Did you think it was truly your lungs that had problems? Didn’t you reason that it was the food you ate. Haha
Me : traitor. That’s what you are
Eun Soo : I know…. Now take them out boys
They dragged us out, I was still bleeding profusely and I felt like my life was draining out
Bad Boy : (whispering) God, please protect my Rosa
I looked at him, even at the point of death, he didn’t forget his love for Rosa. I promise if I get out of this alive, I’ll protect her.
Because I know Bad Boy might not make it out alive. Ron really hates him
My blood dripped down my skin and I felt very thirsty. My eyes were closing and I knew I was going to black out anytime soon

I opened my eyes and saw myself in a room with the walls made out of zinc. I was lying on the bare ground and I was so dirty. My wound was still fresh but the bleeding had already stopped. I sat up and looked beside me, the ground was mixed with dried blood.
Is this my blood?
The blood trailed up to a huge wooden box
I stood up with pains and opened the box. I gasped at the ugly sight I saw
It was Bad Boy, badly butchered with his hands ripped off
Me: no.. No
I knelt down and touched it, it was so cold
He’s dead
My eyes welled up with tears.
How would he have survived this torture?
How will I tell Rosa that her lover was butchered to death?
Me: no…. NOOOOOO!
I fell on the ground and hit my fist against it.
This can’t be happening
I stood up and saw Ron looking at me
I felt intense hatred for him. I wanted to kill him with my bare hands
Ron: I know you feel really bad for your friend. But he deserved it, I’m going to spare you. You’ll leave this place now with his remains. I want everyone to believe that he’s truly dead and he wouldn’t come back. I already destroyed all his clones.
He turned to go but stopped
Ron: oh and please send my condolences to his girlfriend
He then walked away
I covered my face
Me: Rosa, I’m sorry. I wish I could protect him… But I couldn’t.
I broke down and began to cry because the pain I was feeling was just too intense
