Chapter 28
PRACHI POV
I woke up due to the sound coming from out side and i tried to stretch a bit only to find a pair of arms wrapped around me
I opened my eyes and saw Justin arms around me.
Just when did this happen,I thought as I tried to move out of his arms but then his hold tighten
“Let’s stay like this for a while longer”He said
“Let me go Justin!”I said softly
“But I don’t want to!”he replied
“Isn’t this being childish, just let me go!”i said trying to pull away but the more I moved the more I kept on getting close to his body and what’s worse he was half unclad, the only clothing he had was this pyjamas trousers
He rolled me over and laid on me and I couldn’t stop myself from starring at him
“You want to know some thing”he started softly and I stared at him
“I thought about this while watching you sleep last night and have come to a conclusion that if am to get your forgiveness or any thing else I have to get you to like me but I see that I haven’t really gotten any where with that and so have decided to begin my task and that is to get you to forgive me “he said softly
“My forgiveness is not what you need Justin and I don’t think I can ever………”I couldn’t get to finish my word because he k-ssed my l-ips shutting me off
“Never say never Prachi, I will get you to like me,you can count on that”he said as he smiled down at me
Never have seen some one so determined before, just a few days ago, he was all stay away from me, I will make your life a living hell and now this! It’s just so hærd to believe
Just then he got a call on his phone and that made him let me go.
Quickly I got off the bed and went into the bath room still feeling a bit jittery about what he said
“Hurry up Prachi, I also have to take my bathe or if you want, we can both share to make it faster”he said through the door way
“I will be done soon”I yelled back at him and quickly I got dressed.
I would bathe on my own than to bathe with Justin, I thought………
Later that day while Justin has left for his office, I strolled about the house, getting my self acquainted with it, no matter what I do or how I do it to escape, he would never let me go, maybe it’s still a punishment or an act of revenge, I just don’t know, all I know is that this behaviour of his is making me feel strange.
After strolling the gardens,I got back to the room only to see Bianca waiting for me.
“I just can’t believe that you ran away with out fulfiling your deal with me “she said starring at me angrily
“Am sorry Bianca, every thing happened in a rush that night but still it was all in vain because he caught me”I said
“It will certainly be in vain because you didn’t get help from me, if you had told me about it ,I would have find another means for you to leave but you just had to betray me “she said
“Am sorry and like have said I didn’t mean for all of it to happen that way, I just saw an opportunity and then I left”I said
“Well not all of the opportunity is lost you know”she said suddenly .
“What do you mean?”

“I mean that not all of it is lost, you can still leave for Indian with out Justin stopping you “she said
“How do I do that?”I asked as I went to her to seat down beside her
“It’s simple, I can just prepare a new way for you”she said
“What’s the new way?”
“Travelling on a boat, a train or even with the use of a car as long as you get to India”she said
“So there is still a hope of me leaving ?”I asked
“Of course there is!”she said
“Then tell me how to do that, am willing to do as you say Bianca, just tell me a way to get out of this place”I said
“Fine then ,I will only tell you if you give me your word about helping me “she said
“I will do what ever you tell me Bianca, I don’t care about Justin, all I care about is how to leave this darn place”I said giving her a smile.
“If every thing turns out right? You can leave tonight too”she said and gently I payed attention to her escape plan.
Later in the night, I stood by the window waiting for a sign of Justin but there was no one.
Just then I began to hear some one playing music from down stairs.
I turned to look down to see some couple of men playing a rom-ntic Indian song.
It’s the same song I like listening to back home,I thought as I enjoyed listening to the song.
Who are they singing for and why are they here?I thought as I listened to their song.
By now the rest of the family were all standing at each of their balcony staring at the people making noise.
“This is for you Mrs”The leader said as he began to sing a love song in English.
How many times have I wish to have such a scene like this, to have some one serenade me but who did this! Justin wouldn’t go this far just to get me to like him, I thought and just then I felt a presence behind me.
I turned to see Justin standing by the door way holding a bouquet of roses
“A little birdie once told me that I could get to have your forgiveness just by giving you a serenade, I hope that am succeeding “he said having a smile on his face
“Didn’t you and my sister ever talked of any thing else, she really told you a lot of things about me”I said
“That’s because some how she knew you and I will end up with each other and now that we have,I hope you never get to leave”He said as he put the roses down.
He walked towards me and pulled me into his arms
“I hope I broke a barrier between us today “he said while the people playing down stairs took up another music
I couldn’t get to answer because he pulled me towards him and whisper softly into my ear
“Dance with me my Indian bride” that got me totally.
I found myself smiling up at him and also giving him the dance he asked for

Chapter 29
PRACHI POV
The song kept on playing and we both stood in the moon light dancing to the tune.
Tonight felt some how different and Justin is being a real charmer as always.
I knew that his family were still watching this scene but some how I didn’t care.
All I cared about right now is being in Justin arms.
“You dance like a real pro”he muttered into my ear
“Am no pro,I just learned the basics thinking of the day I will be on the dance floor with my husband dancing to the beat of the ………..”I stopped when I realised what I was saying.
He gave me a smile and softly k-ssed my fore head
“Hope I didn’t ruin that fantasy?”he asked
“I……..”feeling so embarrassed,I didn’t know what to say.
“I didn’t ruin it! Am your husband Prachi and though we never got to have this dance on our wedding, we are surely having it now”he said
“Justin I………”
“You think am only messing with you right? That am not taking you serious and that am only looking for ways to make you suffer more, well I can’t blame you if you have such thoughts, I caused it after all”
“I wanted to punish you for what happen, for the first time in a while, I couldn’t get what I want and that was because of you but let me make one thing clear that am glad I got you, am glad you are here with me”he finished
“Are you saying all this just to get me to like you?”I asked
“No…am not doing that”he said as he touched my cheek
“Then what are you doing?”I asked and he stopped the dance and pull me towards the balcony
I stood starring down at the people who came to serenade me.
“What’s happening?”I asked as I felt him standing behind me
“Just keep on starring at them “he said and I did as he said only to see them opening a large paper which had some thing written on it

“Am lucky to have you Prachi”he said now standing very close behind me
He k-ssed my neck making me nervous and shivery.
I shouldn’t fall for this, I thought as I moved out of his hold and walked back into the room
“What’s wrong Prachi?”he asked
“Every thing is ! You especially, I just can’t seem to believe any of this, I can’t trust what you are saying ”
“What can I do to make you trust what am……..”
“Nothing! Don’t do any thing Justin, I beg you don’t!”I said
“But Prachi………..”
” Don’t come close,I beg you don’t!”I said but he didn’t stop
He got close to me and pulled me into his arms.
“Why don’t you give me a chance uh? Give our marriage a chance”he said starring at me
“I…….”
“Just say yes!”he said as he pulled me into his arms k-ssing me.
This k-ss is different from the one we have shared in the past.
This is a more passionate k-ss and with the way things are going ,we might end up sleeping with each other.
I thought as he lifted me into his arms, taking me to the bed..
