I shake off the imagination from my head.
I just imagine that Eugenia knows about what happen in the restaurant, Eugenia we never say such to me, but she is definitely gonna be heart broken . I glance at the phone, it was still ringing.
I picked the call up.
“Girl, what took you so long to answered the call, never mind. So Uhm, can at least speak to Andrea about the feelings stuff. I want to know how he feels ” She requested hopefully.
She should just do it herself. How can he love her when she doesn’t even get closer to him, but it’s too late to do such coz they’ve become a twist in the story. Things are complicated now. How’ll I tell her what happen in the restaurant, no I won’t. And I don’t wanna come in contact with Andrea again.

” hel… hello”Eugenia called jerking me back from my lost thought.
“Eugenia I really wanna rest, can we speak tomorrow ” I said, coz I really don’t have courage to talk to her right now. I’m feeling like a betrayal.
“Are you sure you’re okay “she asked with concern.
“Yeah”I lied.
“I just need to take some rest coz am tried”I added.
“Okay, I’ll call you tomorrow ” she said and ended the call.
I clutch to my duvet went under it.
But I couldn’t sleep, half of me feels guilty and half of me wants Andrea.
I couldn’t sleep so got up and went outta of my room.
I need to go downstairs to get some water.
I went downstairs, I saw mum in the sitting room.
I greeted her and made my way to the kitchen. I’d took some water and gulped down the bottle, but it choke me instead.
I cough loudly and mum came rushing to me.
“What wrong ” she ask her voice etch with fear.
“I was choked by the water ” i replied.
“Thank goodness. But are you alright now coz I thought it was something else”mum sighed in relief.
I nodded as a reply and forge a smile at her.

~Eugenia’s POV~

I couldn’t stop thinking of Andrea. I want him to know how I felt. I imagine life with Andrea.
Sooner sleep engulfed me and I slept off.

#The_next_day

Today Friday was an hoilday delcared by the government. So today is a free day from work stress
I was in the kitchen preparing breakfast 🍳 when i heard a knock on the door.
“Kyle please see who’s there at the door ” I call out for my brother coz he was in the palour.
But there was no respond and the knock continue.
I put the gas off and went outta of the kitchen.
Kyle wasn’t there, maybe he as gone to the backyard.
I open the door and arched a brow.
It was Derek.
Holy shit! Why is he here.
” hi ” he says.
I rolled my eyes.
” Why are you here ” I demanded to know
“I just came to say hi” he replied.
” You came all the way just to say ‘hi'” I ask, arching a delicate brow.
” I just came back from Las Vegas and I came to see my friend is that wrong” He defended.
I know why he’s here. Why can’t he understand we can’t be. I don’t feel for him. He should I find another girl.
” So can I come in ” he requested politely.
It’ll be wrong for me to drive him away coz he mean no harm.
I let him in.
Mum and kyle came out.
“Look who’s here men” Kyle tease and shake hands with Derek.
“it’s good to see you ” He replied.
” Where’ve you being men ” Kyle inquired.
” I was in Las Vegas ” he replied.
“Wow, you sure you’d enjoy Las Vegas ” He compliment.
” Can we’ve breakfast now ” I ch¡pped in coz I was damn starving.
“Yeah, Derek join us ” Mum offered Derek.
“Yeah I’ll ” he honored the offer and stole a glance at me.
Kyle stare at me and then to Derek.
We went to the dining table and serve the food. Pancake and hotchoclate for desert.
But prefer coffee, so he went to make it himself.
So we’re all seated eating, but Kyle is quite a parrot beak, he keeps talking why we’re eating.
” You’ll get choke by the food one day. Can’t you stop talking ” I teased.
He choice to ignore me and continue speaking.
He stare at Derek and me, and now I wonder what he wanna say now.
” You know the both of you’ll make a fine couple ” kyle said.
That make me stop eating and arched a angry eyebrow.

” I really which to see the both of together” Kyle went on making me angry.
Derek didn’t say anything, but I know he which that too.
” I know you love my…
” Kyle please can I see you “I said, standing up to my feet.
” Why, am eating ” he rebuke
” Now ” I half yell.
“Okay ” he replied.
He stood up and I walk to my room he trailed behind.
” What was that “I demanded to know, when we got to my room, my voice etch with anger.
” What was what ” He replied and I sighed.
” why do you say that to Derek, that you wish to see us together ” I reminded almost yelling.
” so ” he blunted out, making me more annoyed.
“You see little sis that guy loves you and is so hærd to see a nice guy like Derek. Why can’t you just give him a chance” He added.
“Does occur to you that I don’t love him”I fired back.
“See am in love with someone else. His name is Andrea”I announce.
“Do that guy love you “he enquired.
“I don’t kn… know “I stuttered a little.

“What do you mean. Don’t he know about your feelings “he asked.
“I’ve not tell him yet. But I love him” I blunted out.
My eyes move to the door and caught Derek standing there.

~Derek POV~

I came upstairs to meet Eugenia and Kyle. I know it was what Kyle said that was why she demanded to see him upstairs.
I went to their room and meant them arguing.
I receive that greatest heart break of my life, when Eugenia mention she loves someone.

She as being the only woman I love over the years. Even if she turns me down all the time, I always hope we can be together.
But now she’s in love with someone else. My hope shattered into pieces.
“Derek “Kyle called and I walked away.
I went downstairs and made my way to the door.
“Derek “Eugenia mum called, but I didn’t answer.
I just open the door and went away. I made my way to my car and ride away.
Tears came into my eyes. My heart ached. I just love her, why fate have to do this to me.

~Eugenia’s POV~

” Wow great. You just broke the guy heart who loves you ” Kyle blunted out, when we went downstairs.
” What the f-ck did I do. Derek need to understand that I don’t love him. It’ll be best for both of us ” I blunted out.
” This guy you love. Tell me more about him…
He pause it seems to remember something.
“Is it the same guy at the hospital, who saved your life and Ivy’s own ” he ask.
“Yeah ” I replied and shake his head.
” I good at observing people one’s I see them. And what I observe about him that day, was that he was into your friend than you. Am sure he loves your friend coz he was always staring at her more than you ” Kyle said.
“Th.. that lie ” I stuttered nervously
” It’s the truth ” he replied.
“No ” I yelled and ran to my room.
” What of if Kyle is right. What of if he loves Ivy. I have observe Andrea too and suspeted. But wave it off, since am not sure. But Kyle is saying the same thing ” I ask my self.
I pick my phone, I wanna call Ivy. I want to know if she as any feelings for him.

Chapter 15

~Ivy’s POV~

I was in my study room, when Eugenia gave me a call. I answered it.
” Hello girl” I cheer
“Hi” She replied.
“How is Mum and Kyle ” I ask.
” Mum and Kyle are cool. But that not the issue am disturb ” She stated firmly.
I knew what was gonna ask, I don’t wanna talk about Andrea.
” What about Andrea, have you perhaps speak to him” She inquired.
“N…. no “I lied.
I feel unfair lying to her, she deserve to know the truth. But what am more afraid of, is that she’ll be heart broken.

” Can I ask a question ” She said.
” Yah ” I replied.
” Do you love Andrea ” She inquired with a low tone.
I almost fell of the chair I sat, when I heard that. My heart beat faster than before. I swallow what suppose to be a lump stuck on my throat.
” Why are you silent do you love him” She ask again.
” N.. Nooo” I stammered nervously.
“Sure about that “she pointed out.
” Yah.. a… am sure ” I replied still nervous.
” So when are you planning to tell him about me ” she inquired
” I’ll try, first I have to find out if he loves any one ” I replied.
“Okay”
We’d end the cal. I pore on what she said “DO YOU LOVE HIM “those words is like a blow to me. Am afraid that I feel the same.

~Eugenia’s POV~

I hope she doesn’t love him too. I hope Andrea can fall in love with me. I love him.

~Andrea’s POV~

Tomorrow is Kath birthday. I think this is the best opportunity to invite Ivy to the party. I know she won’t come if I invite her. But if Kath invite her, she’ll surely come.
I went to Kath’s room and knock on the door, and she permit me to come in.
” Andrea ” She called.
” Why are you here ” She ask.
” Am here coz I wanna request something from you ” I replied with a smile.
“So what that ” She enquired.
“I want you to invite Ivy to your birthday party and also her friend ” I demanded.
She gave a broadly smile.
“I had already invited them a while ago ” She announced with an er-cted brow.
“Wow, thanks ” I trilled, thinking her and she smile in return.

~Ivy’s POV~

I receive a call 📲 from Kathleen, she’s inviting me to her birthday 🎊 tomorrow.
Gosh!! good f-cking damn I rub my hair.
I wanna avoid Andrea and it seems that is gonna be impossible.

I rub my hair as I thought of him k-ssing me..
That feeling brought estacsy to my heart.
Do I really love him. I think I do, the thought of it, is really giving me gossebump.

~Eugenia’s POV~

Wow tomorrow is gonna be awesome 🌟, am gonna see Andrea tomorrow.
I jump for joy and throw myself on the bed.
I can’t wait to see the most handsome guy on my f-cking list.
I just love him.
My smile was replace with some sudden fear 😨, what of if he doesn’t love me.
How will it be. The thought it make me feel awful.
I just shake it off and lay on my bed. Dreaming of having Andrea in my arms.
Kyle came in.
” So what is my little sis think about now ” he said between a mouthful, he was eating a apple.
” Lemme guess, this Andrea ” He added.
” Yah, happy ” I replied, showing him some grimace expression.
I know he wanna talk about Derek.

~kyle’s POV~

She loves someone, who love her friend. I saw him in the hospital looking at her friend. His expression shows that he loved her.
I hope Eugenia realizes this soon and give Derek a chance.
Derek is the guy for her, she will come to her senses when she find out that the man she love don’t love her back.
Some sense will be knock to her.
For now, I can say anything.
I shook my head and ate my crisp apple 🍎
I went outta of her room and went to my own room.

~Ivy’s POV~

It was dark now. My heart skip a beat when I thought of meeting him again.
Even if I wanna avoid him, I can’t help but have the urge to see him.

~Andrea’s POV~

I kept look at the door if Ivy as arrived yet.
It about an hour now the party as started.

~Ivy’s POV~

” Look we’re late. Kathleen might not like it ” I scold Eugenia as I was driving. She was the one who made us an hour late.
She as be on with her looks and how to attract Andrea.
We’d got to Kathleen’s Party venue. The wh0le event was org-nized In a five star hotel.
We alighted and Euegina look happy coz she wanna see Andrea.
But I felt sorry for her. She doesn’t know the truth and I felt like a bad friend from keeping it from her.
We arrived at the hall well the party was org-nized. The atmosphere we’re booming with rom-ntic music and the music itself made me have goosebumps.
“Andrea ” Eugenia called, and ran to hug him.

That name am dying to here and take my time to look at him.
He was so handsome in the suit, he wore. Why hugging Eugenia, he grin at me and went I caught him grinning, I quickly roll my eyes away. Only to meet Kathleen mysterious smile.
We greeted each other. I greet Andrea absent minded.

#Few_minutes_later

After Kathleen caught her cake. I excuse myself and went to the washroom coz I felt press.
I came out of the washroom only to come contact with Andrea in the passage way.
We were alone.
My heart beat fast. He walk sluggishly to me and he didn’t bother to remove those grin.
‘Damn this dude ‘ I cussed inwardly.
It as if my leg was glued to the ground. I couldn’t move and inch.
He came closer to me and stare at my eyes. My knee started grumbling. I can’t stand still when am with him.
What do he want now, I wondered nervously.
” How are you ” he inquired.
As if he doesn’t know that am okay, wait a minute am not okay especially when he stares at me like he’s doing now.
“Am….

My words were stopped by his sudden k-ss.
When he removed his mouth. Without wasting time I capture his lip in mine also.
i unplugged and I couldn’t say a word. I arched a brow.
My face went whit with what I saw. I swallow hærd.
“Eu.. Eugenia “I stammered.

apart from me, who is anxious to find out what happened next.
