Chapter 5

~Ivy’s POV ~

We’d got to the cinema and alighted.
After the necessary process.
We both sat in a seats available and the movie we sat to watch was ‘Lisa the maid ‘ a spooky 👻 movie by Promise pearl.
We both poke the popcorn in our mouths as we both sat down to explore the creepy movie.

~Andrea’s POV~

Reaching the cinema.
I park my car at an available corner and alighted.
I went to open the door for Allie and she alighted excitedly.
She had the shopping bags in her hand.
” Put that down ” I said.
” Put what down” she said confusedly.
I sighed
” The shopping bags in your hands or do wanna carry them in ” I struggled.
” Oops” she exclaimed and put them back into the car.
I took her along and after paying the tickets and got two popcorns and two juice .
We went in and sat down to watch the movie named ‘ Lisa the maid ‘it’s kinda of creepy.
” Are you sure, you wanna watch this ” I pointed out, coz Allie is already trembling with fear.
” Yes” she replied.
” Even if it’s creepy. I love it ” She shrug.
When it reach a very scary part.
She clutch herself to me for protection.
I exhaled
My eyes wondered around and I caught Ivy the lady I met some while back, the one am attracted to seated beside her friend.

I felt it, my heart pounding and I exhaled.
A smile curve the edge of my lip.
She didn’t seem to notice me, her eyes were fix to the movie and her friend as well.
She somehow look scared.
If I were there with her. I would’ve cuddle her to my arms.
Thank goodness, I came here.
I felt ecstasy etching over my heart.
The strange feelings overwhelmed me.
She’s as become the movie for me coz my eyes was fix to her.
But she hasn’t notice me yet.
She turn her head and saw me.
Her facial expression became register with shock.
She looks startled.

~Ivy’s POV~

I’d saw him again the one I wish never to see again coz I feel awkward when am around him and am meeting him for the second time.
Those emerald green eyes of his made me shivered.
I huffed softly and turn my head to face the movie, but now am feeling awkward.
I dare not alert Eugenia of presence coz she is gonna make matter worse.
I sighed rapidly trying to adjust to my awkwardness.
Without turning my head, I rolled my eyes to his direction to see if he was still staring.
But he wasn’t staring, he was talking to kid, which he claim to be his niece, anyway whatsoever.
I just pray Eugenia doesn’t see him.

~Andrea’s POV~

Finally the movie was over.
Everyone presence was already discharging from the hall.
The were all trooping out.
I sprung up immediately.
My eyes was fix to Ivy’s direction they were about living.
I look down to Allie.

” Let’s go now ” I said, trying to hurry up coz I wanna catch up with them.
But when I raised my brow.
They were out of sight they must’ve disappear into the crowds.
“Gosh” I exclaimed and exhaled.
I search the endless crowd just for her.
I saw her and friend on a s₱0t about heading out of the cinema.
I try catching up with them.
But Allie winced making my attention drifted away to them and to her.
” What’s wrong ” I inquired.
” A man stepped on me ” She whined.
“Where’s he ” I ask.
She try pointing to him, but halt and her eyes wonder everywhere in the search of him coz she couldn’t see him.
” He was…
” Forget it already. He must’ve disappear into the crowds. Does it hurt badly ” I said with an hurry tone.
” Nope ” she stated.
My eyes went back and saw they were now gone.
I sighed frustratedly.
Maybe if I go outside. I might see them.
I scurried outside with Allie in my hand.

We’d got outside. Even if the crowds had decrease a little.
I couldn’t get a glance of them.
” Huh ” I cussed.
” Uncle what eating your ass up ” Allie asked, obviously noticing the way I was behaving.
” Nothing ” I denied.
” Let’s get going it’s late now the sky is dark and you know your mum ” I said, diverting her mind away coz she love asking endless questions and for the fact she is just a kid.

We got to the car and hop in.
I drove Allie home.
Kathleen scold me for bring Allie home so late.
It seems she barely know the kid she had.
I told her all Allie as requested for in defend of myself.
Kathleen is my older sister. She was married before.
But got divorce due to lack of faithfulness from her husband.
The man had various affairs with women in his company and outside is company.
When Kath learn about this she was heart broken.

She left his home and also filed for a divorce and after much struggled, Kath eventually divorce her husband.
At that time, she was pregnant with Allie and didn’t know about it at first.
When she found out that she was pregnant, she vow to train her child on her own without Greg support that her ex husband name.
Greg heard he had a daughter, he didn’t bother claiming any parental responsibly coz she was a girl.
Well, that his is own cup of tea.
Kath has a family, mum dad and I to take care of her and Kath is also a single lady handling her own business.

I sigh in exhaustion coz I was damn tried.
Allie got me all worked up.
I retired to my bedroom.
When I took a shower I didn’t stop thinking of Ivy.
I lay on my bed busy thinking of her.
I kept tossing and turning at the thought of her.
Suddenly, they was a knock on my door.
I sprung up and made my way to the door.
I open it and smiled at the sight before me.

The beautiful face belong to my mum.
She brought me dinner, guess she want me to have it in my room.
“Thanks mum ” I remarked and took the tray of food from her hand.

#Next_day_morning

I woke up and, she was the one I thought of before opening my eyes.
My party is gonna commence at 3’clock, that shouldn’t be my worries coz I got everything under control.
I sprung up from my bed and headed to the washroom.
After washing my face, I brush my teeth.
I smile as Ivy came across my mind..
I really have fall in love.
I want her and if u get her am gonna keep her close to me forever.

After freshen up.
I’d went downstairs and mum prepared breakfast.
The wh0le family was in the dinning. Mum, dad, Kath, Allie and Royce my younger brother am just three years older than him.
Am twenty _six and he’s twenty_three.
As for Kath she’s thirty_eight.
Royce was a lawyer that what he choose to be.

He run is own firm..
I’d took over dad business coz he as retired, am handling his companies and am not gonna let him down.
I never miss my mum scolding if am a bit late for dinner.
She doesn’t care if am an adult she scold me if am late from something.
Well, I don’t care if am adult and are scolding is a little awkward for a grown up man like me. I’d love it when she scold me and here it goes she’s gonna do it.
“Why are you late huh ” She inquired with a frowning face.
” Chill, mum am just late for breakfast ” I replied and chuckled.
” Last night you didn’t come for dinner and now you’re late ” She shrugged.
If only she knows who am thinking about.
If only she knows her son is in love.
I have no time for food yesterday.
I already have Ivy for breakfast.
Am not planing on letting them know that an in love yet.
I’d have to win her yet.

~Ivy’s POV~

I jerked up from my bed, my alarm clock beeping, furiously pressing the snooze button.
I angrily banged the alarm clock, wanting to turn back the time..
Gosh he is even in my dream, I cussed.
I couldn’t help, but feel a little excited about the wonderful bliss.

~Eugenia’s POV~

After breakfast.
I decided to give Andrea a call. I scurried to my room were I left my phone.
I pick my phone for the table and sat at the bed.
I inhaled and exhaled nervously.
I gave him a call and but he didn’t answer.
I’d call again, but he didn’t answer.
“What wrong with him ” I cussed.

~Andrea’s POV~

I need to call my PA to ask him how the preparation going for the party.
Gosh, I forgot my phone upstairs.
I scurried upstairs and made my way to my room I pick my phone from the table.
I saw miss calls.
” Who will this number belong to ” I wondered.
I decided to give the number a call.

~Andrea’s POV~

I had almost gave up in calling him coz he refuse to answer.
But he called back.
I excitedly pick his call.
” Who’s this ” he inquired.
” is me Eugenia ” I stated.
” Oops I couldn’t recognize the number ” He shrug.
” It’s okay ” I said.
” So how’re you ” he said softly
I felt as if butterfly on my stomach when he said that.
” Am fine ” I replied excitedly.
” can you give me Ivy’s number ” He requested.
“Okay ” I agreed, but still I wonder why he wants to get Ivy’s number, I guess he also wanna make friends with her too.
“Am gonna send as msg to you” I said.
” Thanks ” he remarked.
I ended the call and gave him Ivy’s number.

~Andrea’s POV ~

I received the msg and dialed the numbered.
A smile curved the edge of my lip.
“Should I give her a call now ” I ask myself.
” Of course I should am curious to hear her sweet voice” I said smiling.
I gave her a call and she picked immediately.
” Hello” she said
At hearing her lovely voice, I became speechless.
