~Ivy’s POV~

My phone rang an I pick it up immediately.
The number look strange and the person in the other line wasn’t speaking up.
I demanded to know who’s speaking three times, but he or she refuse to speak.
I ended the call and shrug my left shoulder.
I was in the car about to start it when I receive the call 📲.
I was going the office.

~Andrea’s POV~

What a fool I was.
I mess up big time. Why was I speechless.
I should’ve say something.
But I became mute after hearing her voice.
Lemme call her again.
I gave yet another call, buy she didn’t answer it.
I call her again, but still the same futile result.
“Gosh” I cussed and throw the phone on the bed.
I made my way to the door and halt.
I turn and heard back to the bed to get my phone.
What the use in venting my anger at the phone, when it wasn’t the course, but it was actually me.
” Sorry dear phone ” I said to it.

~Ivy’s POV~

Who ever is in the other end of the phone have wait coz am driving over here.
I will give him or her a call, once am in my office.

I’d got to work and alighted.
I saw Eugenia’s car parked at a corner.
She’d came early, before me.
I went straight to my office.

It was almost time for the party.
I came with the Italian outfit I shop for yesterday.
I went to Eugenia and requested to know if she’s ready for the party.
” Yeah ” she said.
“I brought outfit along ” she added.
“Yeah, I did brought my own. It’s in my car am gonna get it ” I stated and headed at of her office and made my way to my car.
I brought out the outfit and went in,side.
I’d made my way to the washroom to change.
Eugenia was in the washroom also and changing too.

We’d arrived at the party at the exalt time.
They org-nized it in a grand top ten hotel.

The party atmosphere was filled with different business tycoons for different state at the party coz I could s₱0t Chinas , Indians, African and many more present.
I couldn’t s₱0t Kathleen Johnston among the crowds.
She is the main reason why we’re here.
“I think I should give Kathleen Johnston a call ” I suggested and Eugenia agreed.
” But I need to use the washroom ” Eugenia stated.
” Washroom ” I blunted out, not believing my ears.
” What now do you want a washroom for ” I inquired frowning.
” What else do they use washroom for rather than bathing, excreting. But in my case I need to pass out the waste water in my system and I also need to go coz arguing with you is of no use and for the fact that I don’t even know where the washroom is being located. I need to ask someone ” She shrugged and sighed.
” Eugenia, I’ll never understand her ” I muttered to myself as she went away.
I watch her as she tap a lady ask her for the direction and the lady pointed to a direction.
She thank her and went to the washroom.
I was about giving Kathleen a call.
When I s₱0t Andrea talking to someone.
My heart pounding on my tender chest when I saw him.
I stare at him.
He turn and saw me. His stunning gaze made my knees crumble.
” Gosh damn it, why is he here now. Is this a coincidence or what and he is coming closer” I blunted out cussedly.
I’ll not runaway from him like a coward coz that was what I was thinking.
He approach me with his smile , the smile am I must admit am dying curiously to have a glance of.

~Andrea’s POV~

I didn’t bother giving her a call again coz it seem she doesn’t wanna answer the call.
I suggested to call her maybe in the night.
That was some hours ago.
Now she is here in my party.
First the mall, the cinema and now in my party, guess this is the handiwork of fate.
Whatever it is, is good.
I’d approach her.
I stare at those blue eyes and it really enchant me.
She leapt back a little and lost her balance.
I caught her just in time before she could fall.
I gazed with love etching over me and still have her in my hands

~Ivy’s POV~

I gaze at those green eyes of his and couldn’t take it anymore.
So I leapt back a little and miss my step.
I lost my balance and was about falling when he held me and it prevented me from falling.
He had is hands wrap around my wa-ist.
I trembled at his touch. I felt as if I was drugged.
I felt the world rocking beneath my felt.
I felt nothing exist again, while in his arm.
Someone cough and that jerk me back to total realization that I was still in his arms.
I gentle yank myself from his grip.
I place my hair at that the back of my girl as a gesture of shyness.
I arched my eyebrow and saw it was Kathleen, she had this grin and I know why.
I wonder if she is the only one that notice the awkward moment.
And great she isn’t the only one coz many eyes was on me making feeling very embarrass.
I try ignoring them and put away my embarrassment.
But I couldn’t and I s₱0t Eugenia coming forward.
Thank goodness, she did see this coz she was just coming out from a corner.

Her eyes w¡den when she caught Andrea.
She rushed to him and shake him.
” Hi” she cheerfully say.
” Hi ” he return it back and his attention was fix on her.
She hugged him and I roll my eyes away.
I return my eyes and saw him gazing at me, while hugging Eugenia and quickly look away and my eyes met that of Kathleen grinning countenance.
I decided to look downward instead.

~Kathleen’s POV~

There is something fishy here.
I think my brother is kinda of in love.
With the way he’s staring at her.
His eyes was telling some chapter of love that am sure it will surface very soon.
He slowly disengage from Eugenia’s hug and i cough for them to pay attention to me.
“Hi Kathleen ” Eugenia cheer
” Thanks for coming to my party. Guess you guys have already met my brother ” I shrug.
” Brother ” Eugenia said surprisedly.

~Ivy’s POV~

My eyes w¡den, when she mentioned he was her brother.
Unbelievable, so he’s Kathleen’s brother.
“Wow ” Eugenia’s exclaimed excitedly.
I gaze at Andrea he’s the owner of the this party after all.

Andrea made a speech in the stage.
He talks so boldly.
I was in a s₱0t staring at him.
I didn’t know when a smile curve the edge of my lip.

~Eugenia’s POV~

He took so handsome on that stage.
Andrea hasn’t appear more handsome than he is on that stage.
I couldn’t help but wish I could be in his arms forever.
When I’d hug him and felt some tangling s-nsation run through my spine.

#The_next_day.

It was Saturday afternoon.
I’d sat at the back of my house.
I sat the edge of the pool. I place my legs on the pool feeling the cold water.
It was damn hot today.
I arched a brow and saw Eugenia coming.
She sat beside me and also place her legs on the water.
We’d chitchat a little and kept our random laughter gong , until her countenance change into a serious one.
“What wrong with you now girl. Why the serious face ” I inquired inquisitively as I pored.
” You know you’re my best friend and always be. I wanna say something to you hoping you will help me out ” She pointed out seriously.
Making me more curious.
” What’s that ” I stated firmly.
She inhaled and exhaled and WS about speaking.

Uhu! am I the only one curious to find out what she wanna say.
Guess it’s a suspense.
