🌻Jin POV🌻
With my heart racing so fast, I stared at his phone on the table as it plays the conversation I had with Travis months ago.
Everyone’s mouth has opened widely as they stared at me, obviously gobsmacked- except for Jordan who was smirking as he watches me.
I ashamedly took my eyes to my feet, still shocked.
How on earth did he got the voice message?
I thought Travis and I were the only one outside that night.
The phone stopped playing and I felt like hiding beneath the floor- this really won’t be good.
“I can’t believe this!” The principal snarled, punching in some numbers into the telephone.
📞”Get Travis here, now!” He shouted, banging his table in the process.
“How could you?”
My eyes were just glued to my feet.
“Raise your head, you fool” The principal fired. I lifted my head and I realized he was standing close to me already.
I met his eyes, and they’ve gone red- he looked like he’s going to kill me soon.
Oh no.. I’m so dead.
Tears started to dripped from my eyes as I kept my head straight, not looking at the principal.
“Just come in” Mr An said immediately a knock came on the door.
“I’m here, sir” Travis says behind me.
Mr An left where he was standing and went to him, I breathe out softly with relief but the next thing I heard was a thunderous slap, across Travis cheek.
I gulped while everyone gasped softly.
“I trusted you”
” I believed you when you’d said you don’t know anything about the incident” He shot at Travis, fiercely.
“That day, she had pointed to you that you were the same person that hit plank against her head, but I strongly disagreed with her cause I trusted you. I knew what you can and cannot definitely do”
“But look, you proved me wrong, you are just an animal who doesn’t even worth to be seen around me” He concluded before turning to me, abruptly.
I lowered my gaze as I felt his eyes on me.
“Why do you want Audrey dead?” He roared.
I cringed with my eyes closed.
“I’m so sorry, sir” I apologized.
“I asked a question!” He sparked and I felt my heart just left my chest.
“It’s because I love him” I confessed, pointing towards Min jun.
“What?” He murmured.
“Audrey was the only factor hindering Min Jun from noticing me, so I thought if I should clear her out of the picture- Min jun would see me” I sobs.
“Incredible” The principal uttered as murmured fill in the room.
“Are you even a human?” He asked.
He left where he was standing and went back to his seat.
“I’m really sorry Audrey” He apologized, sincerely.
“It’s so sad your mom is not here, I really owe her an apology”
“It’s okay sir”
There was a short silence.
“I should throw you two to jail, but that will only bring more shame to this school and which I won’t like to happen, ever” He began in a hoarse voice.
“But here’s my decision, you are leaving this school- including you Travis regardless you’re my niece, I’m sending you back to your parents in North Korea”
My heart trembled, I glanced at Travis- his head was down so I couldn’t tell how he felt with the news but definitely, he can’t be happy about it.
It’s all because of me- I’m sorry Travis.
“And you!” The principal’s voice brought me out of my thought.
“You’re not only expelled from this school, but also, you’re restricted from attending any school in Busan- South Korea as a wh0le”
I went on my kneels immediately, crying profusely.
“Please sir, don’t do this, I promise to be a good girl from now on but please don’t expell me- my mom would be so furious at me” I begged, rubbing my palms together.
“Your letter will be ready in a jiffy” He says, bringing the telephone to his ear.
“Sir, please”
“Get out!” He thundered.
I got on my feet and ran out of his office, embarrassingly.

“You see, I used to know Jin is full of evil, but I never thought it could be to this extent- attempted murder over a guy?” Ryan says as we climbed down the stairs.
“What if I told you I still can’t believe my ears?” Kwan turned to Ryan and said to her.
I stopped walking, after we climbed down the last stair case.
They all turned to me.
“Are you okay?” Aaron asked, concerned.
“Do you need something?” Jordan also asked.
I shook my head before moving close to him.
“Thank you so much Jordan, you’re indeed a good friend” I embraced him.
He chuckled lightly.
“I’m glad I could help Audrey, and I hope you would have a bit trust in me” I smiled.
I disengaged from the hug and stared at him for a while.
“I’m sorry for not listening to you back then” I said sadly.
He pulled my cheeks, playfully.
“Sad face doesn’t suit you” He teases and we’ll smiled.
“I really owe you Jordan, this means a lot to me” I said gratefully.
“Come on Audrey, it’s fine” He patted my back and we continued with our walk.
“Jordan is a hero, isn’t it?” Kwan joked and I nodded in agreement.
“Enough of the praise girls, he’ll start feeling himself too much” Ryan rolled her eyes.
Such a joy killer.
“Uhmmm… There’s one more thing guys” I told them and they all stopped on tracks.
“What’s it?” Kwan and Ryan chorused.
“My life saviour, I still don’t know the person till date despite the fact that he was from our school”
Kwan sighed before speaking up.
“You shouldn’t feel sad Audrey, the person shall reveal himself someday” Kwan assured.
I nodded off with a small smile.
“Uhmm… Then I guess you should be k-ssing me all over my face then” Aaron said proudly, with his shoulders up.
“I just confirmed it”
“That what?” He raised his brows.
“You’re a Duffer” I folded my hands on my chest.
“Why should I k-ss your face when you’re not my life saviour? Huh”
“Just say you want me to k-ss you, don’t take someone else’s credit”
He rolled his eyes.
“You don’t believe me, do you?”
“Of course I don’t” I tucked out my tongue at him.

“Oh my..” Ryan paused.
“God!” Kwan completed.
“You’re the real hero, Min jun” Ryan squealed, pulling his cheeks.
I just stared at his face, completely gobsmacked.
He just narrated everything, without hiding a piece and believe me I felt like spreading k-sses all over his cute face.
Who would have thought Duffer could be save my life then?
“I’m envious, bro” Jordan said and smiled.
“Don’t even try to flatter me, she’d hugged you tight earlier but look, she just found out I was the guy who saved her from death months ago and all she could do is to stare” Aaron groused with a frown.
I bite on my lower lip, stopping myself from laughing out.
I slowly walked past them.
“Ya!(Hey)”
“Won’t you k-ss me already?” He says behind me.
“Shush Min jun, we are still in the school premises” Kwan reminded him. I glanced at my back and winked at him and I think I saw his cheeks gone red- funny.
I owe him my life.
“Audrey” I looked forward to see Jin standing in my way, her eyes were swollen and reddened. It’s pretty obvious she’s been crying since she left the principal office.
“I’ll do anything you ask of me, but please I need you to help me talk to the principal, he should take back his words” she pleaded tearfully.
“You are crazy Jin” Ryan cussed and wanted to attack her, but I stopped her with my arm.
“Now I see you’re an ingrate, because without been told, you know yourself that you’re supposed to rot on jail with all the crimes you’ve committed” I grinded my teeth, enraged.
She sniffed her running nose, wiping her fake tears.
“Please Audrey, I know you’re very mad at…”
What gut?
She still has mouth to talk.
I sent a very resounding slap to her left cheek, she placed a palm on it before turning to me again.
“That was for the death of my dear Chelsea”
Believe me, if I am opportune right now, I’ll be beat you till you end up like my dog- you douchebag ” Water builds up in my eyes.
“I can never ever forgive you” I glared at her but she only cried more.
“Let’s go, Audrey” Aaron took my hand and says and we walked away afterwards.
“Ryan”
“Kwan” She wailed as she called their names.
“Please, my mom would be so mad”
“Then go to hell” Ryan snarled as they walk after me.
“It breaks my heart to see your tears, so don’t ever cry again” Aaron said beside me, looking so serious.
I smiled as we headed to where his car was parked in the school park.
“Yes, your highness” I made a joke out of it and we both laughed.

“Who are you calling, Kwa young?” Hazel asked as she got to our table in the hospital cafeteria, with two trays in her hands.
“It’s mom, I still can’t reach her since last night-I’m so worried Hazel” I said, frantically.
She sighed softly, taking my free hand on the table.
“I’m sure she got stuck with something important last night, she’ll be here soon”
I shook my head in disagreement.
“What could be more important than her own husband?” I said with a heavy heart, not convinced by what Hazel had just said.
“I’m thinking of going home later today” I suggested, giving her my puppy eyes- She stared at me for a while before nodding her head.
“Okay fine, anything you say”
“Thanks so much for everything Hazel, I really appreciate” I told her, forcing a smile.
“It’s okay dear, now let’s eat quickly so we can go back to Aunt, she would be bored by now” Hazel says as she bite on her toast.
“Yes Hazel, I just hope others are back from where they’d gone to”

“It’s an emergency”
“Please leave the way”The nurses says as they wheeled a bed past us.
“What’s it this time around?” Hazel groused.
Hang on..
I caught a glimpse of the person’s wrist- it’s looks exactly like mom’s bracelet.
Huh?
Without thinking, I started running after them.
“Kwa young!” Hazel called.
“Please hold on” I ran after the nurses for a while and they finally stopped.
“What’s it?” One of them half yelled.
I ignored them and looked at the patient wrist carefully, my eyes w¡dened- it’s truly mom’s bracelet.
My heart started beating faster as I slowly let my eyes traveled to the person’s head-I shivered immediately.
A part of her face has been damaged, completely.
“Mom!” I shrieked.
“Mom!!”
“Look at me mom, it’s me Kwa young” I rested my head on her soaked chest.
“Don’t do this to me, Mom” I wept.
One of the nurses gently moved me away from her.
“Mom” I wailed uncontrollably.
“It’s okay, Kwa young” Hazel kept saying as she tried to hold me, tears dropping from her eyes.
“Don’t leave me, Mom”
“Please”
“Mom!!”
