After few more subjects, the long day finally came to an end and I couldn’t be more glad.

I rearranged my books in my backpack, preparing to leave for home.

“You should leave the assignment to me” I heard a voice.
I looked up and saw Duffer standing before me, looking elsewhere.

I rolled my eyes and turned to my backpack.

“Who are you talking to?” I asked him, not sparing him a look too.

“You” He replied bluntly.
I’m telling you,this guy is sick.

“And why should I leave it to you?” I stood up and asked him, blatantly.

“It’s pointless doing an assignment with you” He sneered and I could feel a bang in my head.

What?

He adjusted his backpack on his shoulder and I watch him dumbfounded as he sauntered out of the class.

I scoffed.
Is he for real?

“Hi Audrey” I shifted my gaze to the person and it’s him again, that fool that got me wild on my first day.

I shot him a hærd stare and carried my backpack.
I just pray he walked up to me again this noon; I’m already looking for someone to pass out my aggressive to.

I made to walk out of my seat but to my surprise, Crazy blondie and her mates are already standing in my way, staring at me in a way I couldn’t fathom.

“Don’t even think he’ll ever look at you the way he does look at me” Crazy blondie fired and I lifted my brows in confusion.

“And to think you’re the first lady Min Jun would ever talk to in this class, then something is definitely fishy” Red headed said.

“Just shut it, Soo” Crazy blondie shouts at Red headed.
“There’s nothing fishy you fool, they’re just paired up and that’s all” She went ballistic.
I just watch them with my arms crossed on my chest.

“And you.. you should know something today” She said in a low voice now, pointing a finger to me.

“Min Jun is the only person I’ve ever like and care for in my wh0le life, so don’t even try crossing your boundaries” She gritted out.

“But she said it herself that she doesn’t intEr×¢t with guys, remember?” The other blondie said, crazy blondie just shot her a glare before storming off and they both follow.

I shook my head sideways.
This girls will never cease to surprise me.

“You shouldn’t mind them, Audrey”
“They’re just crazy”
It’s him again.
I wonder which of his ears is having problem.

I threw my backpack to my back and hissed loudly before walking past him.

Dimwit.

“Audrey!” Someone called my name from behind, I stopped walking and look backward.

“Hold on, Audrey” The person ran up to me and believe me, I couldn’t resist the urge to roll my eyes immediately she approached me.

“Hi, Audrey” She said with a soft smile, standing close to me.
I took my eyes to somewhere else, not wanting to look her in the eyes.

“What do you want?” I asked her sternly.

“I’m sorry, Audrey” She apologized and I slowly turned to look at her.

“You’re sorry for what?” I possum.

She twisted her l-ips before speaking up.
“You stood up for me, but I still go against you” She fiddled with fingers nervously as she talks.

“I’m so sorry, Audrey”
“Please forgive me” Tears are already in her eyes.

I shut my eyes briefly as I released a rueful sigh.
I’m moved with her tears.

“But promise me you’re gonna share the so called secret with me tomorrow” I told her and she gasped lightly.

“You can trust me, Kwan” I urge her and she smile.

Huh?

“You knew my name” She said with a giggle, sniffing her pending tears.

I chuckled softly as I pushed back the strands of my hair.

“It’s cool right?” I asked her with a small smile and she nodded curtly.

Funny.

“So are you fine with my condition?” I asked her and she bite her lower lip before nodding her head slowly.

“Cool then”
“Bye” I told her and walk away.

“Audrey” I heard her called again and I turned my head to look at her with a smile on my face.

“Yes?” I answered.

“I like you” She said with so much enthusiasm and my smile grow w¡der.

“I like you too, Kwan” I blew a k-ss and finally walked out of the school premises.

I smile to myself, I think she’s cool.
I like her already.

I patiently awaited a cab, and after some minutes i finally saw one driving towards my direction and I quickly stopped it with a wave.

I gro-ned softly as I walked into my room.

“I feel so tired” I mumbled, tossing my backpack somewhere.

I hurriedly unclad myself and walked into the bathroom to have my bath.

Cool.
I feel so refreshed now- I just had a long bath.

I put on a knickers with a sweatshirt.
I settled on the chair across the study table after I combed my hair.

I picked my sketching book on the table.

I heard a knock on my door.
“Lunch is ready,sir” The maid announced.

“I’ll be there soon” I told her as I picked a pencil from the pencil case.

“Alright sir” She said and left.

I stare blankly, thinking of a drawing that would impress the art teacher.

“Uhmm”
I started drawing, even though I don’t know what it is.

And after some minutes,
the drawing came out and my eyes dilated in shock as I stare at it on the table.

“What?” I murmured.

It’s Psycho.
I just made a sketch of Psycho.

Oh my..
What was I thinking?

💘Episode Nine💘

💋Kwa Young 💋

A maid led Dad into the living room with his suitcase in her hand and i smile widely upon seeing him- he’s on call though.

“Welcome Dad” I stood on my feet and greeted but he only waved at me as he motion to the staircase, speaking nonstop to his phone.

I sighed deeply and sat down again.
A normal Dad would ask why I’m still up by this time, right?
This is how it has always been, so I shouldn’t be sad.

I continued with my movie.
It’s late though, but I really want to know when mum returns from work- it’s been long I set my eyes on her.

And it’s just like a wish come true, a car honked from outside and I’m sure it’s no other person than her.

I stood up and ran to the door, gleefully.
I opened it and stepped out to welcome her, smiling sheepishly like I just won a lottery.
I watch as she park her car carefully in the garage before stepping out.

The bright light in the compound reflected on her face and I just watch as she approach me with her small purse hung on her shoulder- I’m sure she hasn’t seen me yet.

“Welcome Mum” I said with all smiles and her eyes w¡dened in surprise as she walk closer.

“What are you still doing up, baby?” She glanced at her wrist watch.
“This is past nine” She said calmly as she pecked my cheeks.

“I missed you, mum” I hugged her tightly.
“I missed you too, darling” She k-ssed my hair and disengaged from the hug.

“Let’s go in”

“So how was school today?” She asked me with a little smile, it’s pretty obvious she’s stressed but I really want to have a nice time with her.

“School was boring as usual, mum” I told her sadly.

“Your dinner is served, ma’am” A maid interrupted us.
Mum nodded and the maid bowed before walking away.

“Do you want me to come to your school concerning your classmates?” She asked and I almost roll my eyes.

This is probably the hundredth time she would be asking me this, but she never comes even when I told her to.

“It’s fine mum, I already met a new friend” I began, smiling widely as I remember how cute she is.

“Really?” She raised a brow at me after she gulped down some water.

“Yes mum”
“Her name is Audrey and she’s a really nice girl”

“Is she in your class?” Mum asked and I shake my head sideways.

“She’s in grade 11, but she told me I shouldn’t hesitate to always come to her whenever I need someone to talk to” I narrated and she just nodded.

“That was cool…”
Mum was saying, but her shrilling phone interrupted her.
She looked down at it beside her and quickly picked it.

“I need to pick this call, Kwa Young” She told me, standing on her feet already and my face quickly switched to a bitter one.

“Go to bed dear, you’re going to school tomorrow” She blew me a k-ss and picked the call.

“Yes Sir” She said through the phone and I watch as she climb the stairs, her heels making a sound.

Can’t I just have a normal life like other people out there?

“Mi Cha” Mum called as she walked into the living room and I quickly closed my eyes and lie on my back, pretending I was sleeping.

She laughs and I squinted an eye open to see her switching off the TV.

I gro-ned inwardly.
Why isn’t she asleep yet?
I really wanted to watch the wrestling match finish.

“Now cut the pretence and go to bed” I heard her say.
I opened my eyes and slowly sit up on the long couch, scratching my nape.

“Naughty girl” She said.
I looked at her and she eyed me playfully.

“I was actually sleeping, you know?” I told her.
“Just go to bed, my friend” She scolded and I twitched my l-ips in annoyance.

I just can’t wait to graduate from high school.

I slide my feet into my flip flops and rose to my feet.
“Goodnight, mum” I yawned softly.
“Sleep well, dear”

I took the stairs but stopped halfway immediately Duffer crept into my mind.

“Foolish boy” I muttered.

“You say what?” Mum asked from the living room.

“Nothing mum” I answered and continue climbing the stairs but stopped again.

“Mum” I called climbing down from the stairs.

“You’re not watching anything here tonight again, Audrey” Mum rolled her eyes as I walked into the sitting room again and I also did the same.

“I just want to tell you something” I told her, taking my seat opposite hers- she already turned on the TV.

“What’s it?” She asked, sitting up.

“Uhmmm”
How do I start?

“It’s about a guy in my class” I began and a smirk ran across her l-ips.

I scoffed.

“He’s a Duffer mum” I added.

“Could you believe he told me he also don’t intEr×¢t with girls, and that I broke his rule today?” Mum mouth went agape.

“He doesn’t intEr×¢t with girls?”She asked and I nodded curtly.

“And how come you broke his rule?”

I sighed softly.
“He just promoted me to talk and I did”

“So you talked to him already,huh?” Mum smirks again.
I rolled my eyes.

“Tell me, is he cute?” She winks.
I grimaced.

“He’s the most ugliest I’ve ever met” I answered, taking my eyes to the TV.

“That’s a lie, Mi Cha” Mum laughs and I furrowed my brows as I turned to her again.

Duffer isn’t cute, isn’t it?

“You’re talking to your mother here, remember?” She teases.

“Jokes aside mum, what reason could make him not wanting to talk to girls?” I asked curiously.

Mum hums as she stare at me with a grim expression.

“What?”

“Why don’t you like to intEr×¢t with guys too?” Mum returned the question and I frown instantly.

“Come on mum, we can’t possibly have the same reason”
“Or can we?” I stare blankly at the TV screen, thinking about the wh0le thing.

The_following_day.

•Kwan POV•

“Thanks for having lunch with me,Audrey” I told her and she glance at me as she rushed her pasta, like she’s in some kind of competition.

I let out a small laugh as I watch her, admiringly.
She’s so cute.

I averted my eyes around the cafeteria and few eyes are on her, but she careless about it.

She gulped down some water and shot me a little smile.

“That was so good” She commended, pointing a finger to her empty plate.

And we both erupted in a small laugh.

“Don’t ever thank me again, we are friends now right?” She asked and i could feel joy leapt in my heart.

“Whoa… I feel so great right now”
“Becoming a friend of almighty Audrey, isn’t that great?” I joked and we both laugh out loud again.

“You’re very funny, Kwan” She said, after we stopped laughing.

“It’s my pleasure, my lady” I bow a little and she nudge my arm playfully.

“They caught me writing a letter to someone I’ve always like in our class” I began.

We’re both sitting on the grass in the school garden, the garden is strictly restricted from student though, but we had our way.

“A letter?”
I nodded.

“I tried my possible best to hide it from them, but Jin snatched it from me and read it out to her friends hearing”

“And Mr An- the principal had warn us not to ever write a letter or anything related to love in school, he warned us that if he ever caught someone like that, the person would be punished severally”

I released a rueful breath.

“Ever since that day, Jin and her friends have been using the letter to threaten me, they keep telling me they still have it and if I stopped listening to them, they’ll show it to the principal” I concluded, feeling ashamed to look at Audrey right now.

“Who are you in love with in our class?” Audrey asked in a rough tone, obviously angry.

“Seo Yun” I replied, nervously.

“And who the hell is that?” She asked in the same tone.

I slowly look at her in the eyes.

“The guy you slapped on your first day of resumption” I told her and I watch as her eyes protruded in surprise.

“That fool?!” She almost scre-m.
