Packhouse….! Meeting room….!

Xander walked into the meeting room… the Alpha King is already seated, the beta king stands besides him… A few elders sat on both sides of the table.

“Alpha prince!” They all rised and greet Xander.

He simply nods and walked towards a similar chair with his father’s and sits down… Connor (his beta) stands besides him.

“Dad!” He greets his father with a nod… His father nods back.

“So why did you called me back from school?” He asked.

His father clears his throat.

“It’s about the rogues… they are becoming more stubborn recently!” Alpha King paused and look around.

Everyone is listening attentively.

“Snowflake pack’s alpha called me this morning and reported a rogue attack….”

Xander cuts the alpha King off with a scoff.

“Rogue attacks are normal, can’t he deal with it on his own?! Why must he discuss trivial matter as this with you?!”

“This is not an ordinary rogue attack, Xander!” The alpha King scolds him.

He shuts up but grumbles coherently to himself. The alpha King glares at him for his unruly behavior… then turns back to the elders.

“Alpha Derek, reported that the rogues came in a pack!” Alpha King said.

He paused and watch as they talk in groups.

*In a pack?*
*Rogues don’t move in packs*
*This is strange*

The Beta King taps the table to get their attention… everyone quiets down and gave their attention to the alpha King.

“Yes, it is indeed strange.. rogues don’t belong to any pack, so coming together to attack a pack is very strange!”

He turns to Xander.. who wasn’t even paying attention.

“Xander, that’s why I sent for you!”

Xander adjust himself on his chair…

“You’re gonna go to snowflake pack as the alpha prince and observe the situation… If possible join them fight off the rogues!”

“No!” Xander said plainly… making it obvious that he’s not going.

“What do you mean?” The alpha King asked… trying to keep calm.

He knew Xander is not gonna agree…he has never agreed to attend or pay attention to these things.

“It’s just a small pack, Connor can go there on my behalf!”

The alpha King bangs the table and everyone lowered their head… even Xander lowers his head a little.

“You’re the future alpha King and every pack should be equal and important to you! Those packs will entrust their safety in your hands sooner or later!… Is this how you’re gonna lead them?! If I am rebellious as you are.. I won’t be the alpha King today!”

Xander dares not speak… he doesn’t even dare to lift his head because he knows that right now the person in front of him is not his dad.. but the alpha King!

“You’re going wether you like it or not! That’s the only way you can learn!” The alpha King said… He takes a deep breath to calm himself down.

“What if I can’t handle the situation?” Xander asked.

He’s just looking for any excuse not to go…he can handle it perfectly well..in fact, fighting and torturing rogues gives him great joy.

“You can handle it! You have royal blood in you.. this should be very easy as it’s a small pack!”

Having no other excuses to give, Xander keeps quiet and slumps onto his chair.

“So you’re going, right?” Alpha King grits out.

“Yes!” Xander answered. “As if I have a choice!” He grumbles under his breath… But the alpha King heard him.. everyone present heard him.

But the alpha King ignores him.. he turns to the elders.

“I’ll let the royal spy accompany the alpha prince to snowflake pack… Their main reason of going is to observe the situation and find out why the rogues are moving in packs!” He paused and look around. “Any other matter?”

An elder gets up and clears his throat.

“Alpha King, I was on a run yesterday and saw a man lurking around the borderline… I couldn’t tell if he’s a rogue or a human or a vampire… He masked his scent and I couldn’t sniff him out!”

The alpha King nods and turn to his beta… The beta whispers in his ear and he nods.

“Alright.. I’ll make an announcement.. nobody should go on a run alone and nobody should go into the woods at night… We don’t know if that man is a wolf hunter.. we better get ourselves prepared!”

“Yes, alpha King!” They all chorused.

“But we must address snowflake pack’s issue with the rogues first!”

Everyone nods.

“That’s all for today.. dismiss!”

They all bowed and head out… Xander grumpily walks out with his hands tucked in his p-nts pocket.

“How many days are you gonna stay in snowflake pack?” Connor asked when they’re far from the meeting room.

“Me?! We!” Xander corrects him.

“We?”

“Yeah! You’re coming with me.. Tyler and Dylan too!”

“What?! Why?!”

“Because you’re my Beta prince! Your dad always go with my dad everywhere he’s going… you’re his son and I’m my dad’s son!”

Connor stops walking and frown.

“What about my mate?”

“What about your mate?” Xander asked him back.

“She’ll miss me…”

Xander smirks.

“I don’t think she’ll miss you…my mate is there to keep her company!” Xander tease him.

“But…but…what if I need her to…you…s£x….”

Xander shakes his head.

“I know that’s what you’re worried about..ho-ny wolf!”

Connor scoffs.

“Trust me, you’ll even be hornier than me after you mark your mate… remember alphas feel their emotions ten times worst than us normal wolves!”

Xander shuts up as he realizes what Connor said is right… alphas always feel the mate bond ten times stronger than normal wolves…him being an alpha prince makes it worst for him.

“Shut the fuvk up! Just go get ready… we’re living tonight!”

“Tonight?!” Connor’s eyes grew wide.

“Yeah! Tonight!” Xander repeated his words and walks away.

Connor simply stands with his mouth slightly open as he watch Xander walk away.

Alexa’s pov 🎀

“Can’t you go tomorrow morning?” I whined.

“No, sweetie…my boss said it must be tonight!” Will replied.

We’re currently in the living room.. Will packed some of his clothes in a small bag and he’s ready to leave.

We were just eating dinner when he suddenly got the call..he said something happened at the hospital and they needed his help….I’m a bit confused though because I didn’t hear his phone ring.

But he said it was a text he received.

“Call your boss and tell him you’re coming tomorrow… it’s late!” I said.

He sighed and placed his hands on my shoulders.

“I’m afraid I can’t…my presence is really needed on this case!”

I pout…this is the first time Will is leaving home and spending the night outside. I’m kinda worried and already missing him.

“Don’t worry, sweetie… Micah is here with you”

I scoffed and crossed my arms across my chest.

“Micah is not reliable!” I said.

We heard a bang from the dinning table… it’s Micah dropping plates.

“Who said I’m not reliable?!” He growled playfully.

“You’re not reliable!” I turned to Will. “He’s gonna leave me all alone and go play with his girlfriends!”

Will smiles.

“He doesn’t have any girlfriend here yet” he turns to Micah. “Right?”

Micah nods quickly with a sly smirk. “Right!” He drags the word.

I scoffed again.

“What about that cashier from the supermarket?” I asked.

“Oh! Her?” He pretends like he’s thinking. “We broke up yesterday!” He said casually.

“See?” I told Will.

He laughs..he knows I just don’t want him to leave. Honestly, I haven’t spend any day without either of my brothers.

I wonder if I’ll ever get married with the way I’m close to them.

“Come on now, be my good little girl and I’ll be back before you know it!” He said.

I nod reluctantly…he k-ssed my forehead and carries his bag.

“Micah, I’m leaving… please, please… don’t let Alexa stress herself too much…she shouldn’t spend more than one hour studying and don’t order takeouts….cook real food!”

Micah rolled his eyes.

“Yes, sir!” He said.

Will smiles at me and hurried out…. Micah waits until he hears Will’s car drive off, then he jumps in front of me and begin to breakdance and rapping.

♪I’m the king of this house….
Alexa you’re gonna bow down to me….
You’re gonna call me your highness….
Or I’ll make you starve to death….
Alexa come on now, bow now, say your highness….♪

I rolled my eyes at his childishness…but I’m gonna let him know who the real ruler of this house is.

I silently walked towards the kitchen…I picked the cleaver knife and head back to the living room where he’s still rapping.

Standing by the dinning table..I hit the cleaver knife on the table and he stops rapping and turns.

“Micah Nelson Dex! Who’s the ruler of this house?!”

He huffed and puts a hand on his wa-ist and beats his chest with the other.

“Me of course!” He replied.

My brows knit together and I narrow my eyes like snow white’s evil step mother….I picked the cleaver.

“I’ll ask you one more time… who’s the ruler of this house?!” I asked ready to charge at him.

“You?” He answered unsure.

“Ahhhh!” I yelled as I charge at him.

His eyes grew wide and he quickly made a run for his life…he raised his hands up as he ran.

“You’re the queen… you’re the queen of this house… you’re the true ruler…!”

I didn’t listen to him anymore..I continue chasing him round the living room.

The next morning…..!

I opened the door slowly and peeped outside…I smiled when I realized it’s clear…no Mr court boy anywhere…no banners saying ‘Alexa, I love you!’

“What are you looking at?” Micah asked behind me.

I opened the door wide and step out.

“I was checking if that crazy guy is outside!”

“Oh! He won’t bother you today!”he said, sounding sure.

I raised a brow at him.

“Why do you sound so sure? Did you and Will warned him?” I asked.

“Ah! You’re overestimating us…we can’t warn him!”

“Then how are you sure he won’t bother me today?”

He clears his throat and shakes his head.

“My instincts!”

“Oh!” And here I was thinking maybe he and Will gave Mr court boy the beating of his life.

Micah gro-ns…and check his wrist watch.

“It’s 7:13am, let’s go to the bus stop”

I frown.

“I’m taking the bus today?”

“Yeah!”

“Why?”

“Look around, do you see Will’s car? So you have no choice but to take the bus!”

I forgot Will went with his car last night…I glared at Micah.

“Why don’t you have a car?!”

He smiled.

“I’m not as rich as your beloved Will…besides, I don’t wanna own a car…I wanna own a jet!”

“Keep on dreaming!”

He throws his arm around my shoulder.

“Just accept Xander and he’ll buy me the jet!”

I elbowed his ribcage and he lets go of me with a gro-n.

“I’m not accepting him and besides.. he doesn’t look like someone who can afford a car talk more or less of a jet!”

“Oh darling, trust me…as young as he is, he’s a f-cking multi-billionaire… he’s got chains of companies under his care!”

“Huh?!”

He smirks.

“All you have to do is say yes and we are rich!”

A multi-billionaire? He should be 17 or 18 and he’s already a billionaire?

“Whatever!”

“Let’s go to the bus stop!” Micah said and drags my bag.

It’s 7:58am when I got to school…I quickly rushed to class. The bell rings just I step foot in class, I saw Joyce waving at me.

I rushed to the empty desk beside her.

“You’re late today!” She said.

“My brother went out with his car, so I had to take the bus!” I explained.

She nods and reach for her note in her bag…I subconsciously look around… checking if I’ll see Mr court boy but I didn’t…none of his friends are in sight too.

I’m kinda happy that he’s not in this class…but I don’t know why I’m feeling sad deep in,side.

*Good morning, students!* I heard the teacher greet as he comes in.

I should be happy that crazy Mr court boy isn’t here today…at least I’ll concentrate in class.

I reached for my notebook in my bag and listened to the teacher.

Time flies by quickly…quicker than I thought and I’m done with my classes for today.

Mr court boy still doesn’t show up and I feel myself getting worried over him…I nudge Joyce gently.

“Where’s…..” I trail off.

I can’t make it obvious that I’m looking for that crazy guy…it will seem as if I’m missing him.

“Where’s what?” She asked.

“Where’s your boyfriend?” I asked instead.

If I can know where her boyfriend is then I’ll know Mr court boy is there too.

“He went on a trip!” She replies… packing her books.

We got up and head out… we’re currently walking to my look to keep my textbooks.

“He went alone?”

She shakes her head and pout.

“He went with Xander, Dylan and Tyler…but left me behind!”

“You must be missing him now”

“Yeah…I don’t like it when we’re away from each other!”

I sighed…I don’t have a boyfriend but I feel empty right now…not seeing Mr court boy today makes me feel empty.

I guess I’m just missing Will… I’ll give him a call later.

“Let’s worry, I’m starving…I wanna go home and eat!” I said.

She nods and we increased our pace…we turned a hallway and heard a whimper coming from a classroom a few steps away.

I wanted to ignore it but a very loud bang came from the classroom and that ar-used my curiosity….Joyce and I exchange looks.
