I was just confused looking at the ghost

Thinking of what to say

“Will you help me?” She asked
I still couldn’t find my voice

I remembered the warning I got from the cab driver

“But are you aware that he could see you?” I asked her instead

“Yes, I have met him several times, begging him to meet my parents and tell them where he dump my body but he always ignored me” she replied
I felt pity for her but what could I do?

“I always cry whenever I see my parents talking about me” she added

“When was the time this thing happened?” I asked

“Last week Tuesday” she replied

I calculated back
It was already Monday which means it will be approximately one week

I knew how it feels to loose someone

“So why did the teacher sent for you?” I asked as we walked to sit down

“He was just asking me when I will pay my balance for this semester’s textbooks because I do pay before we open for the next semester” he replied

As for me, I haven’t made any payment for the year semester, let alone thinking about the textbooks

“So when will you?” I asked

“Probably, next week” he replied

We focused to study on the day lesson

Which was to meet Lizzy and ask her about the cab driver

She wasn’t in the same department with me

So meeting her would have to be after the day

I sent her a text message to wait for me when she was done

I asked Dan to go claiming that I wanted to go somewhere while I met with Lizzy at where she was waiting for me

It was in a restaurant near the university building

She ordered for my own food because she was eating when I get in
I almost declined it but she assured me that she would take care of the bills

“So why did you ask me to wait?” She asked

I didn’t know how to start but I had to

“It is about the cab driver that brought us to school this morning” I replied

“Do you know him well?” I asked

“Not really, he actually was the one that took me from the park to my apartment when I arrived earlier this semester”

“So I took his number for anytime I might need his assistant” she added

“You have her number?” I asked because it might be useful

“Yes, I will call him when we are done, so that he can take us home” she replied

That would be another mistake

“Why the question? Did he tell you anything that time he called you back?” She asked

“No, I just want to know because he sounded cool” I replied

“You said that you have his number?” I asked

“Yes”

“Okay then, can I have it?” I asked

“Why not” she replied bringing out her phone from her handbag

“Am still worried” she added operating on her phone

“There’s nothing to be worrying about” I replied

She gave me the number
I just saved it

“I want to call him now” she said

“Oh, no problem, but I won’t be going with you” I replied

“Why?” She asked

Accepting to go with her was another mistake
I didn’t want to cross paths with him again

“I have a lecturer to meet now” I lied

That was another gift, right? 😂
I was just good in lying with so many excuses

As for those that can plan, they can also lie

“Hope there’s no problem?” She asked

“Not at all, bestie” I replied standing up from my seat

“Just take care of yourself” I added

“You are making sense because the first killing was within the first week he resume work” John agreed with me

“I wondered how you do manage to stay with him” John said immediately Henry left

“He is my friend, so I have to go with it” I replied

“I think we need to go now” I suggested

“I thought as much” John replied and stood up

We packed our books and left

All the A gangs were in our normal place of hanging out after school

Aiden and Alex went for the table tennis while Anthony took a book and began to draw

“Am drawing how things have been going this days” Anthony replied
I guessed he dropped the stuffs he was holding because I heard the noise

“Why is it that no one here is talking about what happened earlier?” He asked

That was a speechless talk

How could we talk something that would keep confusing us

“Seriously, I am still confused” Aiden said

“Am scared, who knows who is next” Alex said

“Why don’t we plan on how to discover this?” Anthony asked
I was just busy with what I was doing that I couldn’t engage in the conversation

Andrew seems tough at that moment in the game

“What could we possibly plan?” Aiden asked

“We need to meet the police because am sure that they are already investigating on it” Anthony replied

True because policemen arrived immediately the ambulance and announced was passed earlier that day

“Even if we do, it won’t change it because am sure that they are still confused” Andrew said

“What are you suggesting?” Anthony asked

“I think there is a beast in that school dormitory” Andrew replied

“We just need to know when all this things use to happen” he added

“You mean the time?” Anthony asked

“Something like that” Andrew replied

“I have checked that as well, but I think it happens in the night” Anthony said

“Who could be outside in such time, just to check this?” Alex asked

Two days later, I was coming back from lecture

Only me, because I wasn’t feeling alright

Just I got to my door, I felt something that arrived beside me
Just that minute

I turned and it was the ghost girl

Since she disappeared the other day, she didn’t come back again till this very moment

“I have been looking at you” she said

I looked around and opened my door
I needed to get in first before saying anything to her

She came in as well

“What do you mean?” I asked
As we got in

“I thought you wanted to help me” she replied

“How can I help you when I haven’t seen you?” I asked back
But She couldn’t say anything

“Anyway, I have a plan” I said and walked to where Dan’s laptop was

We do operate it, so I know the password

I inputs it and took my phone

I began to trace where the driver had been to

Mostly at night

I discovered that there was a place he normally go every night

“Do you know Mr Sanjay junction?” I asked as I turned to look at the ghost girl

“Oh, yes that was where he was taking me to” she replied

Strange, I thought

“Another thing is that, once we got to anywhere I went with him, I will be able to remember where next we went to” she added

“Okay then, I have a plan” I said

“What?” She asked

“On Saturday, I will take a cab from here to there, but you need to be there that day” I replied

“Am always ready” she replied

“I have to look for a way that the cab driver won’t suspect anything” I said

Just then, she disappeared again

The door got opened and Dan walked in

“Hey dude” he said

The journey won’t be easy
