🧛 Chapter 11 👸

Venessa POV 💄

I woke up when I felt a gentle tap on my left shoulder.

Who the hell is trying to wake me? doesn’t he or she knows he or she is trying to stop my sweet sleep.

“Stop.” I groaned turning to my other side since the person won’t give up.

“Venessa wake up.” I heard the person whispered near my ear still tapping me.

Oh my God. Don’t you get it? This is the first sleep that there won’t be any nightmare to disturb me.

Since I was five years old,I have always have this nightmare hunting me.

But today seems different,the day I have been wishing and waiting for.

“Venessa.” The voice called again. But this time,a hiss followed it.

“Mom come on, don’t be a pain in the ass.” I said hiss while I finally open my eyes.

She is always my alarm that doesn’t miss any minute to disturb my sleep.

Looking around and surveying my surroundings for her with my eyes. I found out am still in the bus.

Looking besides me,I found Joe and others staring at me like I have grown an extra head.

“What?” I asked yarning while rubbing sleep off my eyes.

“I don’t know when I turned to your mom.” Joe said rolling his eyes.

” You should be grateful I called you that.” I said taking my phone from my bag.

” I didn’t even know we are still on this stupid mission. “I added before jumping out of the bus.

Looking around, a smile find it’s way to the Conner of my mouth followed by the cry of my stomach.

“At last, I will have something good to eat.” I said stretching my body before walking into the small restaurant.

Or should I say run walking because of how famished I am.

Opening the door, the bell at the entrance jingled making my presence known.

I stepped in after sometimes and the others followed. We both walk to the small counter.

The whole place is made of woods same as the cutleries and plates.

There was no single sit except of a large table sitting in the middle of neatly laid mat.

Meaning we will have to seat with our legs cross on the mat.

I Thank God I wore a short pant. If not, I wonder how I will sit with a skirt or gown.

To say, everything here is old and speaks about culture.

Looking back to the old woman who is smiling at us, she looks somehow.

But who cares, as far as am going to eat to my fullest, I don’t give a fuck.

“Can I have some tomato sauce soup full of beef?” I asked looking forward to eat what I just mentioned.

“Sorry my lady, we don’t have that.” She answered smiling a little.

” Seriously.. “I groan silently trying to figure out what am going to eat.

“Can I have some spicy chicken and orange juice?” Mia asked making my stomach sing.

” I will have the same as her. “I added before the lady could say anything.

“We don’t have something like that my lady.” The woman replied bowing a little.

” For God sake. “I said disappointed while glaring at the woman for not having it again.

“I wonder if am still going to live before we finish this adventure. ”

Mia added before Josh push her a side. While she playful hit his arm.

“What do you guys want?” He asked looking at Scott who was eye rapping me and Joe who looks so tired.

Just like a wasted dog. I pity him a little but that good for him.

Had it been he have agreed to my suggestion for a driver, he won’t be suffering like this.

“Anything you want.” Scott said while Joe just nodded.

” A chicken breast and some spicy soup along side chilled water.” He said.

” We don’t have that too sir. “The old lady answered.

But what I noticed is that she doesn’t bow for the others except me.

Stop been creepy venessa, it doesn’t suit you. My inner mind hissed.

“Stupid” I murmured to myself rubbing my chin.

“What?” MIA and the others including the old woman asked.

Never knew they heard me.

“I said what else do you have since you don’t have all we demand for.” I lie 50 percent.

” This way my lady. “She said bowing making me roll my eyes.

“Venessa.” I said walking behind her.

“Yes my lady?” She asked bowing again.

“I said my name is venessa not my lady and two, I should be the one bowing not the other way round. ”

I said smiling which was hundred percent fake because it didn’t reach my eyes.

“You will understand latter.”She said smiling at me before bowing again.

I think she wants her frigile back to cut if not,she won’t be bowing to me.

And she won’t be saying bullshit as her excuse.

With what she said,I felt somehow uncomfortable.

“Have your sit my lady.” She added moving away from my front.

I didn’t even know we have reached the table and neatly laid mat.

“Will you all sit or stare at me like you saw a demon just now? ”

I asked without rasing my head from the papers sitting on the table.

They have been staring at me like that since the old woman said her rubbish.

Picking up the paper that are sitting on the tables, I wasn’t able to make out some out it.

Because they all seems strange for my eyes and mouth.

All I did is order the one that doesn’t have too much babies.

“I will go with number three.” I said looking up to the lady.

Suddenly, something click right in my head making me feel dizzy…

🧛 Chapter 12 👸

Venessa POV 💄

Suddenly, something click right in my head making me feel dizzy.

After some times,the dizziness wash away but I can still feel my head throbbing.

“Are you okay ven?” Mia asked making me realize I was already lost in my thoughts.

“Of course yes,just famished.” I said clearing my throat before looking forward for the old woman.

After some minutes of waiting and crying from my stomach,I can finally see the human coming.

She is carrying a big tray where different dishes where calling out to me.

“Am sorry am late my lady.” She said bowing a little before placing my food careful.

I have decided to look away from her strange behavior but the more she said that words,the more I feel some how.

I think proud, superior and grateful will be good if I use them.

But I don’t know why I feel those emotions just because of a mare name.

After placing everything that belongs to me on the table,she help the other our but didn’t bow to them except for calling Mia my lady also.

Gross! I thought looking at the plate before me which has something that looks like earthworm in it.

Not that I don’t like anything that deal with culture.

I love them the most especially the foods. But today all I want to eat is beef or spicy chicken.

I wonder how am going to eat this. She even place a salt and chil besides me.

“Excuse me Ma’am.” I called out to her before she could leave.

She horridly walk towards me and knelt down bowing again before looking up to me.

“How can I eat all these earthworm?” I asked since I have no idea of what they are.

” Let me help you my lady.” She replied taking the extra plate with hot soup in it.

She poured the chill into the hot soup then stare really well before adding little salt.

After staring it again,she then use the wooden spoon to take out some quantity of Earth worm.

After putting what looks like earth worm into the hot soup.

She then cut out a piece of dry fish. Putting it into the same soup so as to sock it.

“You will bring it out and eat after socking it like this my lady.”she answered

” I will advise you not to stay so long my lady.” She whispered for only me to hear.

I look at her before looking back to the food in front of me.

Damn so delicious,I thought looking at what she just prepare.

Without warning,I poured in all the earth worm and dried fish socking them.

“Thanks ma’am you can leave.” I said sparing her a quick glance before looking back at my food.

I started digging into it while different orbs and eyes stare at me like they want to burn me down.

Taking a spoon,my eyes widened at the taste. So delicious,I thought eating more.

No one can say this earthworm can be this delicious.

“Hmmmmmmmm…. Delicious…” I moan chewing on the last thing on my plate.

Licking my hands, I look up to find this two pair of eyes not leaving me.

Although, it has been watching me from the entrance.

I pull my eyebrows up in a questioning manner but the man didn’t stop staring at me.

I look back into my now empty plate licking my beautiful fingers.

I used my hand to eat when the worms where slipping out of my soup.

Suddenly, everything seems to change. Even the light in looks dimer.

The air on my back neck where standing on their own.

Looking back at the others, they seems to not notice except Scott who was looking around.

Maybe he is feeling the same thing am feeling, I thought looking down back.

Before I could touch my water, I found the man pouncing on Joe.

🧛Vampire 1️⃣ POV🍷

Entering into the dinning, this delicious scent sent my stomach aching more due to hunger.

I can smell humans in this dinning but one in between them seems to be more delicious.

How will I know the one with the delicious scent? I thought looking around.

I sighted them sitting together eating, talking and smiling.

Putting my nose high in the air to sniff the scent again before looking back.

Only to find this white hair lady staring back at me.

She pull her eyebrows together in a questioning manner.

Humans. They have no respect, I thought looking back but she already look back to her friends I think.

It’s time to ear, I thought running with my speed towards them before they could notice.

I punch towards the one who back was facing me. I dig in drinking from him.

He kept fighting back which makes it more interesting for me to drink from him.

But later give up because it’s not useful to fight me.

Comparing to our super strength, humans are do weak and disgusting.

They give up easily, I snorted before pulling out my flanges making him Yelp.

He only has the delicious scent on him but doesn’t have the delicious blood in him.

I thought licking my blood socked lips before leaving him for the others vampires to feed in…
