🧛 Chapter 13 👸

Venessa POV 💄

Before I could touch my water, I found the man pouncing on Joe who was sitting at the head of the table.

His flanges came out sharp and long before bitting down on his neck.

I quickly help Mia’s hand and stood up since she was the only one closer to my reach.

Everyone in the room who where eating same goes to the old woman were looking at us strangely.

Their neck where stretch towards us with their eyes which turned pitch black.

Their mouth were big and plumply as if something wants to come out of their mouth badly.

But they are keeping that thing from coming out. Their skin suddenly turn pale.

The man remove his flanges from Joe’s body, they were coated with his blood.

With the way the man moaned, it’s like drinking his blood gives him more pleasure.

He looks up at me and smirk before digging back into where I can say human purse are.

I couldn’t help but screamed at the way he looks like with long fingers.

The old woman warning rang inside my head like a reminder.

I quickly hold tightly in Mia and we both ran out of the restaurant without looking back.

We both ran into the garage while I started dealing with the bus door.

I can’t believe I left without taking the bus key. How will I even take it?

Is it possible when he was digging into Joe like he is a bottle to drink from?

Looking back to the restaurant, I can see many shadows with long nails and flanges.

I don’t think I can even take a step into that place without being turned to a meal or even Pepsi bottle.

What can I do to save both I and Mia? I thought looking back at Mia.

She held me tightly with tears spilling out if her eyes.

She looks frigile and scared, she continue looking around at different intervals.

This makes me sweat like I am been showered from heaven.

What if that man come out or even all of them finished Joe and come out.

Oh my 😳Josh and Scott is there🥺… God no! I thought crying as well.

I was unable to tell Scott if I am going to agree or decline his proposal after this mission.

Will I be able to meet them again? God please Skip today,I prayed silently while crying.

I was about taking my hair pin when I heard the restaurant door been opened followed by the bell jingling.

Looking through the bus window, I found the guy Walking towards us while smirking.

Blood where dripping down from his mouth with his flanges out.

Looking back at the driver door I have been trying to open, I started banging it so that it could open.

I don’t even know what else to do, all I want is for me to wake up and hear my mom call for me from downstairs.

I want to wake up if this a nightmare, what has happened this week is more than I can handle.

Vampires don’t exist, I thought closing my eyes tight to shake out all those bad thoughts coming into my head.

“You can’t run away girl.” I heard the guy says making me open my eyes.

Turning around to face him, I held Mia behind me still holding the pin out.

“If you come anywhere nearer to me and her, I won’t think twice before taking your life! ”

I yelled even if I don’t know what can kill him easily.

But since silver pin blade or anything silver can kill werewolves, it should also kill this monster infront of me.

Even if am scared, I won’t be a coward in real life and be a coward in my dream also.

“Fighting aren’t we?” He asked turning his head before looking back at me with a smirk.

“You creature, why do you find joy in disturbing me in my dream? ”

I questioned with sudden courage waking up inside of me.

“She thought it’s a dream.” He said laughing before cleaning his bloody mouth using his blood cover hand.

“He is a vampire.” Mia whispered behind me.

Blood drain out of my body the moment she mentioned that.

The man infront of me has flanges, he looks pale, he has a good height and he is handsome.

Meaning the man in my nightmare is a vampire same as him who I met on my way to office yesterday.

He was the one who bit me wh…. I was bitten by a vampire! 😱

Oh my God! I exclaim opening my mouth to check if I have a flange also but no, I don’t.

Fool, you will only become one of them if you drink from them. something said in my head.

Everything is making sense now, he told the manager director to send us on a mission here.

And also told him where we will find the needed information about his creatures.

He knows that we will surely be hungry and need something to eat.

And since there is no dinning around this bush filled area, we will eventually stop by here.

To eat and he will be able to eat us especially me since he already said he is coming for me.

Had I known I shouldn’t have supported this from the beginning.

Maybe Joe and the boys wouldn’t be dead by now.

Had it been I had listen to mom and dad and pretend to be sick.

They wouldn’t go on this trip without me, I thought cleaning my tears filled eyes.

“What do you want from me?” I asked since what that Vampire guy from my dream want is me.

That means the guy standing infront of me killed the others just to get me for that man.

🧛 Chapter 14 👸

Venessa POV 💄

“What do you want from me?” I asked since what that Vampire guy from my dream want is me.

That means the guy standing infront of me killed the others just to get me for that man.

“Your…” He started but paused like he was thinking.

“What do you think you are doing venessa?” Mia asked angrily.

She can’t understand because she knows nothing about my nightmare or the man that bit me at the MD’s office.

Or about his disappearance and erasing of Mr Nam memory.

“Good question.” He said taking slow steps towards me with his evil grin plastered on his face.

“I want your blood.” He said making my mouth open same as my heart beat which increase.

I blinked for some minutes before I finally process what he just said.

“M…my…wha….what?” I asked shuttering in the process.

” Your blood.”he replied saying it like it’s a normal meal to take everyday.

” This is f**king ridiculous.” I said laughing like a lunatic.

Like seriously?

Blinking back the tears that pull around my eyes due to my own laughter.

I stood straight looking back at the vampire who has confusion written on his face.

Taking that as a clue,I finally use the pin I have been trying to use.

I was finally able to open it without the vampire knowing.

Dragging Mia into the back door,I closed the door immediately.

The sound of the door brought him out of where ever he went to after I laughed.

He started hitting the door trying to break the window which are closed.

Taking the key to my car which I dropped on the dashboard,I start the car.

Then I drove crazily into the night street rode. Not minding if I crush a toe on his feet.

All I could do is pray for miracle to happen.

Because I can’t even predict my protection not to talk of Mia’s own.

Looking back at Mia through the rear mirror,she was sitting on the floor.

Doing nothing but staring down on her feet with tear rolling down on their own.

I badly want to tell her everything would be fine but I can’t.

Because am not sure if everything would be fine.i can’t promise what I have no assurance of.

“Venessa is everything going to be alright?” Mia asked making me look at her.

I lost control of what to do at the moment I saw Mia looking frigile.

“I don’t think everything will be…” I was cut off when our bus went flying.

We both Yelp and screamed as the bus stated it’s stunt.

After six stunt, the bus finally landed under the bridge.

The sound of our bus landing followed by the sound of both the glass and iron scattering.

After what seems like minutes,I was able to clam my racing heart and steady my breath.

Taking few steady but a little bit shaking breath,I gain some strength to move my body.

Looking to my side,I found four legs which belongs to two different person.

And two different pair of shoes.one pair belongs to a man and the other belong to a lady.

A lady!my screamed alongside the name Mia!

Looking back to the place where she is meant to land on,I found no one.

Chewing on the name Mia,I drag my weak body kicking the door open at the same time.

I sniff in tears and pain which were coming from all my body especially the joint.

It was like I was live was beaten out of my very own body.

Using all the strength left in my body,I pushed my body out of the damage bus.

The moment I was able to drag my body out,I lay on the grass filled land.

I tried to keep my mind off the pain but failed woefully.

The more I try blinking the tears away,the more they are coming back.

Remembering the reason why I dragged myself out of the car,I sat up.

“I thought you wouldn’t come out.” The vampire I was running away from said while holding Mia.

He squeeze her hand which turned jelly making her let a loud cry out.

She is also covered with blood and gas a broken which will heal after one month.

That’s if this vampire let us Free from it’s warth.

“Don’t you dear drink from her you monster!” I said hissing due to the pain coming from my left cheek.

With blood tickling down from the side of my head,I picked a stone and threw it at him.

But as predicted,he catches it with his free hand like it’s some kind of dust.

“Too late,I am.” He said snapping her head once before dropping it in front of me.

He snapped it like some kind of carrot or even chicken head.

Even chicken head takes some times before it can drop down.

I stood up but couldn’t help but walk as slow as a snail even if my brain was screaming run.

With on hand on my now shaking mouth,I reached Mia’s place where are body is.

Lowering my hands down,I placed her now cold head on my laps.

Tears flow freely as I touched my best friend dead body.

I felt like screaming my lungs out just to call out to her.

But her name came out like a whisper from my mouth which suddenly go dried.

I was so caught up with Mia’s dead body that I didn’t know my tears has turned to blood.

Because am lossing so much blood which are coming from the side of my head.

What matters right now isn’t myself even if I started feeling like am losing my gold on her,I still don’t let go.

All I need now is for Mia to stand up from her position now.

“Hmmmmmmmm… Delicious,” the vampire said licking from the blood coming from the side of my head.

I felt like stabbing him right now but am damn weak that I can’t even lift my head to look at him.

“Why don’t I take her down to the kingdom.” That was the last thing I heard before I started seeing darkness.

All my pain where reliving then I finally fall and black out..

🧛 Chapter 15 👸

Venessa POV 💄

Suddenly, my once peaceful body started moving something like flying out of darkness.

All my body want is to Trace the light that makes it way into this darkness.

Reaching where the light is coming from, I started feeling alive.

Those pain, sorrow and bitterness I thought I have left behind started coming back.

The once darkness I was looking at started fading away.

I can hear different voices which seems harsh to my ear came to my hearing.

All the memories of yesterday which faded away came back like a big storm.

The death of my friends especially my best friend death.

My once dry face started getting wet with my tears.

Tears started rolling down my face as I remember how Mia was killed right in my eyes.

I couldn’t stop blaming myself for their Death. Had it been I had listened they wouldn’t be dead now.

Had it been have accepted the snacks Joe gave me, no body would be dead by now.

My stubbornness killed them all.

Turning around to use my hand as a pillow, I hissed in my mind due to the pain coming from the hand.

“I don’t think this bitch will wake up now.” I heard someone from my left says.

Making me realize that am not the only one in here.Who knows who they are? I thought.

I forced my heavy and painful eyelid open hissing quietly while cursing that vampire.

I quickly close it back due to the brightness I was welcomed with.

“She is alive.” I heard someone say followed by footsteps coming towards me.

“Seriously Rosa, she has been laying here dead for three days and you think she would suddenly rise from the dead? ”

I heard a mocking mixed with doubt loud voice says before laughing.

” What if it’s possible?” Another gentle voice asked near my left ear.

” It’s not possible so stop wasting your strength on her.” The loud mocking voice said again.

” They have probably drain life out of her and thought she would be useful as a meal to the king’s dog. “.

The Mocking voice said again.

It would be better order than killing myself with blame.

If I died, I might Finally meet my friends again in heaven.

“Why would you say that?” The voice which I think belongs to Rosa asked again.

“You should at least have little faith.” The gentle voice said again before tapping me.

Meaning there are three ladies in here talking about me.

I wanted to groan due to the pain but quickly bit down on my inner cheek to stop it from coming out.

“She is not a vampire Lisa.” The loud voice snap angrily.

Vampire! My inner screamed making me open my eyes like I was pinched.

“We told you angel, she is alive.” Rosa and Lisa said together.

Little by little, six eyes started staring down at me started getting clearer.

Even my throbbing head is reducing alongside some of the pain I was feeling from every joint of my body.

Looking around, I find myself taking in every detail of the room I am.

It’s a small room with three different beds, plus mine making four.

It’s not something you will wish for because the bed I am on alongside the others is flat as mat.

Even the white sheet on it is so dirty just like one of my rags.

I can tell many people have used it and it hasn’t been wash for years now.

On the floor, I saw different plates with in finished foods that files use as their own meal.

Mare looking at the floor, it looks like it hasn’t been swept for some years now.

Am very sure if I should put my legs on the floor, it going to take some seconds for me to make a move.

Because it would sink to the floor like you are walking on mud.

Looking up to the walls, there are different finger nails mark making different marks of their own.

Each marks is as big as an animal which is as tall as 7.5 feet.

Am very sure it was marked out of anger and not sketch for design.

Looking at the ceiling, it has this dirty white colour.

Meaning it was once white but now has different dried blood and dirt on it.

Moving my eyes back down to look at the source of light in this room, I found a ridiculous small window.

The window is so small that a ten year old child can’t pass through it.

That is if there is no thick iron used to divide it into sixteen small boxes which my hand can’t pass through.

Even if I try,my fifth fingers can’t make it out without a scratch or two.

Only God knows the fool that build and make this window.

Looking back in search of the entrance, I saw a small gate which looks exactly like those gate made for dogs.

Then I realized have been caged just like a dog in this monster full city… TBC

Venessa has been caged 🥺😟

Who knows what fate have in hand for her where she is🤔🤔🤷

But thank God she woke up even if it’s after three days.

But why those her pain fade away the moment she opened her eyes? 🤨🤔🧐
