Ryan POV 🍷
I was shocked when she said she remembered I did to her.
Even my father was shocked along side my junior sister.
I could only blink and glupped down nothing but my dey throat while searching through my brain.
I knew something is wrong somewhere for me not been able to erase her memory easily.
I am also unable to read her mind. What else is strange about this equal am having? I thought.
“Do you suddenly loss your tongue or maybe you have a brain tumor? ”
She asked placing her hand under her chin.
” I want her. “I blurted out before realizing what I just said.
“Son?” My father asked in a questioning manner.
I need to say something before he turns it to something else.
Damn this rapid growing desire, I caused looking up to all of them with a fake stupid smile.
They all have anticipation written on their faces.
“I mean I want her for my sake and not a present to my equal parent. ”
I said with a smirk making my father sigh in relieve.
Old man has a dirty mind, I thought mentally smirking before looking back at my equal who has surprise written on her face.
“Can I have her papers?” O asked the stupid shop keeper whose smile gas dropped.
“But… Sorry to question your authority your majesty.
I thought the crown prince doesn’t like blood bags.” He said laughing nervously.
He don’t know I know his plan already.
His heart has been beating dramatically since when my father has told him an here for Nessa.
Also, he has been praying in his mind for me not to find interest in her so that he can have his way.
That’s one of the power I am gifted with. No vampire can read another vampire except me and my mom.
“So that you can get her into your bed for someday’s?” I said but in a questioning manner.
” No… Am .. so… Yo… ” He shuttered.
“Am not done yet!” I yelled angrily and he quickly bow in respect.
“Then you can finally drink from her till the last drop before you toss her aside and lie that she took her own life! ”
I yelled again feeling the want to snap his head.
But if I do, everyone will suspect something is going on.
And also, with the drama Nessa has perform, my dad will come to conclusion that she is my equal.
Because when one equal talk, you can easily suppress your anger.
But if it’s another person that say what she has been saying to me, the person would be six feet down by now.
“So you can read minds your majesty?” He asked with shock written all over his face.
“Of course, what do you take my son for? He can read everyone mind including me. ”
My father boosted smiling.
Except Nessa, I wanted to add but bit back my words before it will complicate the matter.
“That makes him the king to this kingdom.” He added again patting me.
” Can I have her document now or make the maids feed on you? ”
I asked playing with the collar of my shirt.
“Yes your majesty, right away.” The shop keeper said before walking away into a small office.
Although before he left, he look at Nessa with a pain expression and glared at the back of my head.

“That’s a good move son.” My father said giving a smile and I returned it with a face smile.
Am angry at him for wanting to drink from my equal.
How of him? It’s not everything you see you can drink from.

Am very sure if I didn’t interfere, she would be made his mistress Tonight and she won’t be able to do anything to it.
“You guys can have a fresh bath and a fresh food to your fullest after you shower. ”
I said and they celebrate except her.
She was standing there glaring at me and giving me the questioning face.
Only if I can get through her head, I would have explain better to her.
“Venessa won’t you shower?” I heard a multicolor head girl asked.
” No she isn’t coming with you. “I replied and venessa rolled her eyes at me.
” Here is it your majesty. “The shop keeper said handling me some files.
I took it and sign where am to sign before dragging venessa behind me.
Cause if I tell her to follow me, she won’t even move an inch.
And that will need some tangible explanation which I have no time for.
“What do you think you are doing?” She shouted on top of her voice.
I kept dragging her behind me as I walk through the hallway.
“Am asking you a question! It’s better you let me go now before I bite you!” She said again.
I want to see her try with that human teeth she have, it might not get through my flesh.
“It’s either you keep your voice down or I will help you with it.” I snapped at her.
She looks so scared which makes me smirk as I kept on dragging her.
“Your brother Damian is better than you!” She yelled poking my back.
That’s it, I picked her up while I threw her on my shoulder angrily while she Yelp…

Venessa POV 💄
The shop keeper cam back with some files before handing them over to Ryan.
He signed them and return some before pocketing his fountain pen.
He didn’t even tell me to follow him but drag me out of the place.
Because you won’t follow him if he ask you politely.

Of course, how can I just follow one of the creature who kill four of my friends in just one night.
Only for me to be brought just to be made a fucking delicious blood bag to the vampires.
And for him to come just to buy me like am just a bag of potato which are meant to be meal.
But here I am, I don’t even know what the man who is dragging me will do to me and my little soul.
This is actually what you were praying for yesterday, my taunting inner mind at work again.
So you don’t have to complain venessa, just await your fate with Mr handsome vampire.
He is not a devil, he isn’t like the others, he is just so cute that I felt like not been away from him.
My inner mind sang again just to mock me.
Will you just shut up and think of a way to save us! I yelled hissing angrily.
“What do you think you are doing!” I yelled ontop of my voice because am getting scared.
Because we have been turning and turning since in this big castle.
Before now, have been seeing some people around where we are passing through.
But now, there is no body passing by. Except for two to three maids who were passing by.
When they pass by us, they would bow their head in respect just to greet his rude self.
Instead of answering them, he would just walk by them with his head high in the air.
“Am asking you a question! It’s better you let me go now before I bit you! ” I yelled again warning.
Inorder to attract those passing maids but they only give a pity look which say there is nothing they could do.
It’s not that my teeth will pass through those thick flesh of his but it doesn’t hurt to try.
It’s not that he would kill me? I asked no one in particular.
How sure am I? Zero percent.
Because the man who is capable of disturbing me in my dream and almost bitting me.
He would do anything just to kill me. In just a few seconds, my neck might be rolling down on the floor.
“It’s either you keep your voice down or I will help with it. “He warned making me damn scared.
Oh my! What does he mean by helping me keep down my voice?
Is he going to snap my neck now? I thought imagining the way he would do it.
Fear find it’s way to my face while he continue dragging me.
Looking up back to him, I saw him smirk at me.
Which means he knew am going to be scared if he say those words.
I won’t let him win like that, what can I do to get back at him? I thought then it came into my head.
“Your brother Damian is better than you! “I yelled again poking his back with my finger.
Knowing fully well it’s going to get him.
Because those girls said he doesn’t really get along with his brother Damian.
Why? Reason best known to him.
With what I just said, he pursed making me hit his back with my head.
I don’t even know when he picked me up and throw me over his shoulder making me Yelp in the process.
I kept hitting him but instead of him feeling the pain, I am the one feeling it.
It’s like am hitting a rock.
When I see he didn’t react to my hitting, I started struggling in the air just to com down.
It’s all seems useless but venessa don’t give up.
Minutes later, Ryan opened a door before carrying me in while slamming the door.
Walking further into the room, I was dropped gentle on a very soft bed.
That I even moaned when my butt hit the soft bed.
“Gosh, I don’t know ladies smell like this.” He said squeezing his nose in disapproval.
“Isn’t your kind that makes me sleep in the dirty for a whole three days without bathing. ”
I snapped back standing on the bed.
” You don’t know how to keep shut and learn.” He snorted rolling his eyes at me.
I feel like shoving my finger into one of his eyes inorder to stop it from rolling it at me.
“You go into the bathroom over there to get rid of your dirt.”
He said pointing to a beautiful door which has only black and gold as it’s colour.
“What about my clothes?” I asked wishing I don’t have to walk naked.
“That I will bring it for you, just get your ass in there will you?”
He asked rubbing his temple like a frustrated man would do.
I quickly run walk into the bathroom before he changes his mind about me bathing.
Because I really stinks like shit.
After mixing my bath, I started removing my clothes till I have nothing on.
Almost stepping into the bathtube, the curtain keeping me from the door was opened…
