Venessa POV 💄
It been one week now that have been home doing nothing in particular.
Just to wake up drink water and cry myself back to sleep.
Even when my parent ask questions, I don’t answer because I don’t see the need to.
It’s like the only source of my happiness has been snatch away from me and away from my reach.
There’s nothing I could do than to think about our Happy moment and end it with the last thing he did to break my heart.
I have given my heart to him that I forgot we are two different creatures.
I gave him my heart, body and soul. I even gave him my trust.
I trusted him do much that I still can’t believe he cheated on me even after what I saw with my eyes.
But I thought he loves me, he also say so and even his behavior said it all.
So why? Why would he do so? Why would he break my trust?
I thought before standing up from the bed.
It’s time to pull myself together and move on.
If he loves me, he would have come searching for you. My inner mind added.
I Walk into my bathroom for the first time since when I have been here.
I showered then pick out a free night gown and wore it.
After that, I brushed my teeth then make my way downstairs where I met my parents.
“Can I have a coffee and some pancakes please?” I asked sitting on a sofa.
They quickly rush off without complaining or asking any questions which is cool by me.
I rested myself on the chair very well as I await my food inorder to make myself more comfortable.
Why wouldn’t they rush off to get me my food?
Of course they would because this is the first time I will want to eat and demand for something.
Since the day I have arrived, I haven’t taken anything or ask for anything except water.
“Here is it princess.” My dad said placing the food on the table.
My stomach cried in hunger as I stare down on those pancakes.
I dipped my hands inside, eating like I have been starved for years.
“More.” I said still eating the one in my hands.
My mom brought a big tray with so much pancakes calling for my attention to it.
After devouring more than 200 pancakes, I was satisfied and full so I drank my coffee to push it down.
“Thanks, I really enjoyed it and I have missed them.” I said hugging both of them.
I make them sit before I place my head on my mom’s laps and legs on my dad’s laps.
They both started massaging me as we stayed silent While enjoying the moment.
“Baby where have you been?” Mom asked making angry that she is pretending not to know.
I can sense they are keeping something away from me since day one I told them about my nightmare.
“Who am I?” I asked not showing any emotions. Thanks to Ryan for teaching me how to.
” You are venessa Blackwell.” Dad answered making me sit up while shaking my head.
“You aren’t getting it, what kind of creature am I? “I asked lowly with little hint of anger in my tone.
“You are a human venessa.” They both said making me snap.
” Bull shit! “I yelled standing on my feet with Anger rolling inside of me like Storm.
“Can you explain to me why I only bath for the first time after I left this place and was taken into the kingdom and I changed!
Everything about me changed it’s like am not me again! “I yelled flipping my hair.
” Or did you think I dye my hair for it to turn black or ate fat for me to gain more weight!” I yelled.
” Why am I the equal to a vampire king and we f**king mated but couldn’t read each other minds!
Can you stop looking at me and f**king give me an explanation! ”
I yelled angrily swearing at them for the first time but didn’t regret it.
Because why would they hid things from me?
Maybe if they don’t, I wouldn’t just rush into love like this.
I might have be enough for my Ryan and he wouldn’t have cheated on me with another vampire.
“We did it for your own good.” Mom started but I silence her.
” All I want is an explanation not we did it for your own good. “I said angrily using the same tone mom used.
“It all happened 100 years ago, the vampire queen has two personal maid Wich is me and Angelica. ”
She said looking all sad.
” She loves me the most and the love increase when she found out I was pregnant with her son’s equal which is you.
As you started developing, I started getting threat from a witch which I don’t know.
I don’t know how she looks like but she’s bent on killing both you and I if I don’t leave the kingdom.
She even drag my mistress life into it (the vampire queen life) if I don’t stop you from meeting the crown prince.
I have no choice but to do so because I don’t want my mistress to die.
Neither do I want to die or let you die.
I was asked not to tell the mistress else she will make sure I am jailed.
And you also know how powerful witches are, I had to keep my mouth shut.

Venessa POV 💄
The very day I was going, I went into her room to tell her I was leaving but didn’t meet anyone in there except a cup and a paper.
I didn’t bother checking the paper or the coffee mug because it belongs to my mistress.
And am not in the right place to open it nor to talk of reading anything inside the paper placed on the table.
I kept calling her name but she didn’t answer except for the sound of running water.
So I told her am leaving even though she didn’t make a sound nor did she reply.
I decided to take that as she already heard me then turned around and left her room.
Because whenever she is in the bathroom, she doesn’t want any disturbance and wouldn’t reply to anyone.
Walking out of the Queen’s room, I met her son best friend then told him the queen is in the bathroom.
And she doesn’t want any disturbance so he should go and play with the crown prince.
Not knowing the queen herself was already infected and in pain before I even enter the room.
I said my good bye to some people who are my friends before I left for my husband place.
I got to my husband place and told him what happened at the queen place.
And am a little bit surprised that she has taken her coffee.
Because I am the one she always ask to make and serve her coffee.
And the new maid she wants to get would be here by 5pm and it’s just 3pm.
And she took her coffee without calling me to make it for her.
Two, she doesn’t take black coffee but a light brown one.
And I wonder why I saw a black halfway drank coffee in her room.
Even with what I said, your father told me it’s because am already missing her.
Even with what your dad said, I still can’t help but still been a little bit suspicious about what just happened.

Dad said patting my shoulder before he held my shaking fingers because am so nervous of the thing.
I stare at my dad like he has suddenly grown an extra head.
I don’t think I have ever set my eyes on something that seems familar to me other than his heart.
“Dad do you know anything about what mom went to bring?” I asked facing my dad.
” Just wait, have a little more patience till your mom comes back.”
My dad said making me look back to the staircase.
Where my mom walk through leaving me in suspense and anticipation of what she went to fetch from their room.
Finally, I started hearing mom soft foot steps coming down from the staircase.
Making me stretch my neck the more to take a look at what’s with her.
She is holding in her hand a beautiful box Ryan brought out from his drawer.
The same box Ryan ask me if I have set my eyes on which I said I haven’t.
“Here is the small box you came with when I put to bed. “Mom said reaching my place.
I stretched my hands and received it. When I held it, something red ran around it.
Making his way into my nose and body. I instantly close my eyes then breath in before opening my eyes back.
I opened the small box and was welcomed by this beautiful looking necklace.
The same necklace he showed me after we made love the second day saying I should have mine.
“Do you really mean this is what I brought along with me when I was coming? ”
I asked still shocked and surprise I own something like this.
Had it been it’s someone else that told me, I wouldn’t even believe a bit there.
Even when Ryan told me I should have mine that my parents might not tell me, I didn’t believe.
I thought he was just trying to show me how much he really did love me.
“Mom are you sure I really brought this with me.” I asked still looking down at the necklace which is of a love shape.
It has a red moon in it middle. Checking the back of the necklace, the name called Ryan was clearly written on it.
