Tina POV
Its another term..
I was so happy knowing that I will resume the following week..
I make sure I braid my hair to look elegant and more beautiful..
No doubt am one of the most beautiful girl in school, I always find people admiring me and I always get a lot of crush but I never give a damn about them
I always get the question from other girls or should I say rumours but they can’t say it to my face
“” why is she special “”??
“” why do boys die for her?
“” and what makes her this beautiful??
Yea those are the questions or rumors I do get..
I also do ask myself those questions sometimes and why am I always not attracted to any guy..and yea I must not forget the only person that drives me crazy..my Bestie Roy..
We’ve been friends ever since we are kids..
I love been around him , I can’t stay a day without him, he always knows how to make my day…one of the thing that get me excited that am soon gonna resume, is that am gonna see my Roy once again..
Him and his family went for vacation else we would have been meeting severally…
I so much miss him, I can’t wait for him to come back and gist me about his vacation…

Yes mom..am coming I said
Mr James just called that they will be coming back in the next two days, so that Roy could prepare for school..mom said
Oh my God.. Mom are u serious..

I was more than happy to heat this..I can’t wait to meet my Roy, my Bestie , my trouble shooter, all these days have been boring without him…

Its the day mom said Roy and his family are coming..
Have been in my room peeping at their house through my window..
Yea..we always sneak into each others room at night through the window, sometimes we will sneak out during the winter period to catch some snows and build an angel..its always during those periods

Have been waiting anxiously as I did not see the traces of anyone in their compound, his window his closed and its almost evening yet they are not back..
I was so sad, my mom had call me several times to come downstairs and eat but I refused waiting anxiously for my Bestie..

I was damn starving so I decided to leave my room and go downstairs to have my meal..
As I was about to lock my room door, I heard the horn of car, I quickly ran back to my window side to check whose car was that..
Omg..its ROY..
ROY.YYYY…I scre-med through the window, he turned and looked up , our eyes met..he smile as he signal me to come down….
I quickly ran down as my heels could carry me, am no more hungry again, all my cells are jumping for joy..

I ran to the sitting room , mom saw how happy I am..
Tina..where are running to, and this happy..mom asked
Mom..Roy is back ..I said as I left her and rushed outside, I knew mom was also following me, because she and mrs Grace, Roy’s mom were best friend..

I got to their get, and I saw him..
His back was facing me, he was talking to his little sis lilly..
Then lilly looked at me and smile, as she touch Roy and point at me, then Roy turned back and our eyes met..
Oh my god..he his now huge
He was putting on a sleeveless shirt, that reveals his muscles..
His muscles is now more attractive
His hair is now different, he trimmed the sides and made the middle part curly..
His l-ips are now so pinkish than before ..he’s some little beards…
His chest a little broad..
And those sky blue eyes which made me special and then his smile..which one in a million

I can’t believe my Bestie has grown so big , just within how many months..
I took my time to accessed him…

I was brought back to life when he snapped with his fingers twice..

He looked at me and smile, so tell me what you were staring at ..he said ad he held my hands..
Umm..nothing.. I was just staring at your dad new car..I said smiling
Umm..I know that smile..he said..
Yea..he knows me so well that if I lie, I normally make so mischievous smile and face..
So tell me what were u really staring at , because I know u so well , you can’t just stare at a car for almost 10 minutes, that u did not even know when I came to where u were..he said..
I looked at him and said …
OK …I was staring at you because have really missed you..I said and hugged him..
Oh ..I see..but I did not travel for eternity , I only went for 3 months vacation… He said
Yes..I know.. But I missed u so much..I said..
Yes..I also missed u so much, that place was boring without u..he said..
Really??.. I asked
Yes now…its just boring with dad and mom lame rom-ntic drama, and also girls there were boring..he said..
I disengage from the hug..oh so girls were there, I said as I made a puppy face..
Common stop that…stop doing an angry wife..you know no one can ever be best as you..he said and play with my chin..and we both laughed..
OK come and gist me all about the trip, I said as I drag him in,side…
Roy POV***
What I couldn’t stop myself from doing all day is staring at Tina..
Gosh..she looks so different.. That I began to ask myself I did travel for a wh0le year..
All through the dinner time, I was staring at her , she almost caught me but I diverted my gaze but Lilly caught me instead and pinch me…
Tina looks more beautiful than before, everything is just in perfect place..
Gisting her everything that place where we went was so great , I could see her smile several times revealing her perfect teeth set, I just love watching her all day..
I remember when were small , I will always promise to be her Knight …and we will always promise each other never to leave each other..But now am beginning to have some fear, I don’t know but it as if am gonna loose my Bestie very soon, like am feeling that something unusual is gonna happen , whenever I remember our promises back then when we are small, it as if is gonna break very soon..
I always try to wave this thought off but they keep repeating… I hope am wrong…
Tina POV***
(School day)
This is the third time am checking myself in the mirror this morning, I make sure I pack my hair in a very nice and decent way..
I looked at myself from head to toe one more time …then finally said
“” PERFECT “”….
I grab my bag and rushed downstairs..
Mom…good morning.. I greeted immediately I got the sitting room..
Umm..someone looks ready for school…
Wow..honey you are beautiful.. Mom said and k-ssed my forehead..
Thanks mom..I said and pick my lunch box ..
Are u going to Roy’s house… Mom asked
Yes of course.. Mom knows I will always go with Roy to school.. We always walk together ever since we are small…

Roy, Roy…I began to call immediately I get to their gate..
Umm..best..you are up early ..he said as he was coming out struggling with his tie..
Umm…someone is struggling with his tie this morning again…I guess I have another job this term..I said
He smiled..as I was about to move close and help him …he moved back..
Tina ..I can do it now…he said still smiling..
But how..you don’t know how to knot a tie ..so how come..I said..
Anyways let’s say an angel taught me during the vacation..he said..
Oh really which Angel.. I asked already curious..
Umm..it was at the camp….I met her there, she does things just like you, and her name is Tena..
Gosh she behave just like u that I almost think you are the one..he said..
I was so shocked …but when he came back that I asked him to tell me about his trip ..he didn’t mentioned her…I looked at him and smile as I watch him knot the tie..I remember have always try to teach him but he did not get it , so how come someone from no where just taught him within how many weeks and he learnt it so easily…

Roy looks so happy as I asked him the question ..then he began to talk…
He talked so much about her, that I think I never existed to him..
All he was saying was “” Tena did this , Tena did that..he looks so happy while saying it..as I watched him closely..
So is she now your new Bestie.??. I asked not looking at his face..
Common best.. You know you will always be my Bestie.. And beside you ask me to tell u more about her and I did and she does not even live in our city…she lives with her parents in hushtown..but she said they want to relocate , but she didn’t tell me where they are relocating to ….so stop this attitude.. He said..
Umm…I said..
But in,side of me I pray they never meet..I can’t share my Bestie with anyone…
