Junior: (Still watching the TV.) That you are getting married soon? Yeah they did.
Rose: So are you not happy for me?
Junior: (turn to face Rose fully) Happy for you? How can I be happy when the woman I love is about to get married to someone else.
Rose: I don’t understand you.
Junior: I really mean what I told you four years ago on the phone Rose. I love you Rose, I still do. How can I be happy seeing you in another man’s arms?
Rose: (Getting up to her feet) You have gone mad right? Are you insane? Do you think I am your age mate?
Junior: (Getting up to his feet also, he was taller than Rose in height.) I am not mad nor am I insane. I know we are not age mates. I know you are my senior but when love is involved, age is just a number. (Closing the distance between them) I really, really do love you Rose and can go to the end of the world for you, please don’t marry him.
Rose: (Giving Junior a slap) You must be stupid Junior. Kill whatever thing you say you had for me cause I will be getting married soon.
Junior: (Holds his cheek and remove his hand) But I really love Rose.
Rose: I am leaving, tell your parents I came. (Hissed and left and junior sat down on the sofa, with a far away look.)
