One of the worst things that could ever happen to any male is to get trapped in a love triangle especially when the women don’t see eye to eye. After I was quietly yanked away by Doris, she teleported us both to Idere hills where it was empty and quiet. Judging from the look on Doris’s face, I could tell that she was really pissed off and there was a lot she wanted to get off her chest.

Doris ➡ Now that we’re finally alone, there’s something we need to discuss but first… (Slaps Rotimi)

Riley jr ➡ OUCH! are you insane? What was that for?

Doris ➡ HOW DARE YOU ASK ME THAT?

Riley jr ➡ Okay fine.. Look, my engagement with Hadiza happened unexpectedly, it was her father who made it all happened after I helped him and his people with a little problem.

Doris ➡ Then why couldn’t you reject the engagement?

Reject ni? Abi this Doris dey craze ni? What guy or man in his right mind would reject an engagement to a beautiful gem like Hadiza especially when there’s less to spend on dowry ?
Marrying someone like Hadiza in the human world is a difficult task cause a man has to be rich if not crazy rich to pay the expensive bride price and now that God has given me a freebie why should I refuse?
Besides, I could reject the engagement if I wanted to but then I can’t deny the fact that I had fallen for Hadiza. My feelings for her were genuine unlike Doris which was solely built and pure lust and s-xual satisfaction.

Suddenly, Doris brought out some tiny stony statues from her pocket and then whispered some magic words on them. In that moment, the statues began to transform into some kind of zombie like beings. Once the transformation was complete, Doris unleashed them onto me. Unfortunately for the stupid b-tch, she had no idea that I possessed Anti-magic so before her minions could get close to me, I quietly snapped my fingers undoing her spell instantly.
Confused by what had happened, Doris then brought out 2 bracelet decorated with cowries and wrapped them around her wrists and as soon as she did that, she began chant some strange words quickly. In that very moment, her pupils disappeared and her eyes became completely white and as if that wasn’t weird enough, some kind of blue smoke began to emerge from the bracelets. Before I could figure out what was going to happen, Doris quickly made signs with her hands making the blue smoke to form some kind of dome around us. What terrified me was that the dome itself began to manifest ghostly beings around it, they were busy painful m–ns as they desperately reached out to grab me. It didn’t take me long to realize that I was in her trap.

Riley jr ➡ What’s the meaning of this?

Doris ➡ This is the dome of the dead. Don’t even bother teleporting cause it won’t work in here, running wouldn’t help either cause once those beings grab you, it’s over.

Riley Jr ➡ Why are you doing this?

Doris ➡ If I can’t have you neither will that northern sl-t .

Riley Jr ➡ Are you insane? You’re trying to kill me. Do you think my sister will…

Doris ➡ ENOUGH!! I don’t care what your sister thinks. Time to die.

After that statement, Doris instantly called her hands which resulted to the appearance of small wooden dolls that hung in the air. The dolls were 6 in number and from their carvings, they were ancient Owu relics. These carvings were called the *Eegun mefa* (six curse) and they had the power to curse anyone by calling out their victim’s names in their presense.

Riley Jr ➡ Those wooden dolls are the Eegun mefa right?..

Doris ➡ Oh. So you know about them?
.

How could I not know about these damned curses ? My Dad took it upon himself to teach and show me about the history of tradition, culture and origin of our people (both the Yoruba people and the supernatural) . I always hated it whenever he lectures me about it but now I’m glad he did.

Riley Jr ➡ Stop this Doris, this is crazy.
.

Doris ➡ It’s your fault your little brat. It’s time I showed you the consequences of your actions in a relationsh¡p.

Seeing that there was no talking sense into Doris, I decided to use my anti magic abilities discreetly without her knowing. Just as Doris was about to use the curses on me, I snapped my fingers canceling out all her magic. In a matter of seconds, the dome and the wooden statues were gone.
Doris couldn’t understand what was going on, her frustration clearly showed on her face as she complained bitterly. All I could do was look at her, it would be unwise for me to gloat or make fun of her cause she might suspect something.

Doris ➡ WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? WHAT IS GOING ON?

Riley Jr ➡ Seems like I’m blessed with good luck.

Doris ➡ I don’t know what is happening but you’re not getting away Scott free. If magic won’t work on you then, I’ll have to be physical.

Riley Jr ➡ Ah… Emi ko mọ pe o jẹ aṣiwere…. ( I never knew you were this crazy)

Angered by my statement, Doris shrieked out loud and then rushed towards me retracting her claws instantly and just as I was about to teleport to safety, something astonishing happened. Suddenly, a portal opened unexpectedly and from within it, Hadiza emerged unleashing her wh¡p at Doris. The wh¡p slashed Doris’s skin so hærd that it wounded her and judging from the anguish look and s¢ræm that Doris made, it must have been really painful.

Hadiza ➡ Riley.. Are you alright?

Riley Jr ➡ Yes, thank you. How did you find me?

Hadiza ➡ My sister. I went home and made her use her magic to find you.

Doris ➡ (angry mumbles)

Hadiza ➡ What was that?

Doris ➡ You’re going to pay for what you did, B-TCH!!

Hadiza ➡ Stay down. Don’t make me kill you.

Riley Jr ➡ Hadiza, what have you done to her?

Hadiza ➡ Nothing really. This wh¡p is no ordinary wh¡p. Once you get slashed with it, the pain surrounds your whole body steadily. She should be fine in an hour.

Hadiza was right and I would have loved to look the other way but I can’t let Doris suffer like this. For what it’s worth, it would be better for us to part as friends instead of enemies.

Before I could finish what I was saying, Doris teleported away leaving Hadiza and I alone. In that very moment, Hadiza hugged my tightly placing my head between her soft bre-sts, they smelled so nice not to mention that they were soft.

Hadiza ➡ Oh, I was so worried about you. I’m glad you’re safe.

Riley jr ➡ Me too.

Hadiza ➡ Your sister Morenike and her boyfriend, I left them behind to search for you and now they’re alone.

Walking together in the dark cold streets of Ibadan, Chris and Morenike hold hands tightly as they both follow Solomon’s instruction. It’s been minutes since Hadiza ditched them to search for Riley jr and luckily for them, they hadn’t run into any kind of trouble.

Morenike ➡ I hope we find someone soon. I’m scared.

Chris ➡ It’s alright. As long as we follow the advise your this Solomon you’re talking too I’m sure everything will be alright.

Morenike ➡ I’m sorry you had to be wrapped up in this Chris.

Chris ➡ Don’t apologize. I’d rather be with you in any situation good or bad. By the way, You look nice.

Morenike ➡ Oh. Thanks.

Solomon ➡ (subconsciously) Tell your boyfriend that this isn’t the time to get hot over you.

Morenike ➡ (subconsciously)… Relax Uncle Solomon, he means well.

Solomon ➡ (subconsciously) I know but he should be focusing on getting out of this situation alive instead of silly fantasies about you.

Chris ➡ Is something wrong?

Chris ➡ Jesus, you almost gave me a heart attack.

Morenike ➡ Unbelievable. How can a former assassin like you be afraid?

Chris ➡ Why not? Dealing with supernatural stuff wasn’t part of my previous job. This is something way out of my league and I can’t pretend to be brave. I’m honestly surprised that I haven’t lost my mind after seeing what I never thought was possible.

Solomon ➡ (subconsciously)…. Such an honest fellow. Still he should stay focused, I have no intention of witnessing naughty affairs. I’ve seen enough from Riley and Christen already.

Morenike ➡ (subconsciously) You don’t have to bring that up. I have no intention of knowing what my foster parents did when they were in their private moments.

Chris ➡ Morenike…

Morenike ➡ Yes.?
.

Chris ➡ If we get out of this alive… I would like to take you on a trip for a week. Just the 2 of us alone. What do you say?

Solomon ➡ (subconsciously) Morenike! RUN

Reacting to Solomon’s outburst, Morenike tightens her grip around Chris’s hand and then takes off running as fast as she can pulling Chris behind her . Following Morenike at steady pace, Chris begins to ask if she had seen anything but what happened next answered his question.
Chasing Morenike and Chris is a black spirit with the tremendous force of tornado and the size of a megalodon shark. The spirit was so terrifying and mean that it ate anything on it’s path. Chris who couldn’t see the spirit only heard it’s deafening howl and the destruction it made behind them. Thinking that Morenike wasn’t running too fast, Chris instantly sweeps her off her feet and carries her on his arms running like a man possessed.
However before Chris could get far, he suddenly misses his step and then falls down hærd on the ground. Morenike who had also fell had sprained her knee unable to get up. Thinking that all was over for them, Chris embraces and covers Morenike to shield from whatever that was coming behind them but then suddenly something unexpected happens.

In a twinkle of an eye, the cross which Chris carries along with him at all times shines bright instantly like a star. The black spirit which had reached closer to Chris and Morenike was burnt by the light that it s¢ræmed painfully and retreated. Morenike who was also surprised by what was happening covered her face from the brightness the cross was emitting. Immediately the spirit was gone, the light on the cross faded and the cross returned to normal.

Morenike ➡ What just happened?
.

Chris ➡ I really don’t know.
.

Solomon ➡ (subconsciously)… Ask him where he got that crossed?
.

Morenike ➡ Where did you get the cross?
.

Solomon ➡ I got it from it from an old r-man catholic years ago. It’s actually an Ancient relic.
.

Morenike ➡ So this cross repels evil?
.

Chris ➡ I think so. Are you alright? I’m sorry for what happened.
.

Morenike ➡ I’m fine but my knee is hurt.
.

Chris ➡ Well, I’ll be carrying you then.
.

Morenike ➡ Are you sure? I don’t want to tire you out.

Chris ➡ Trust me, you’re not that heavy. We need to find your sister cause we’re still in a hot mess. This cross may have saved out lives but we shouldn’t take chances.

(Junior and Hadiza instantly appears)

Riley jr ➡ Ah.. We found you guys.
.

Chris ➡ (startled) JESUS CHRIST!!!

Morenike ➡ Jesus Junior, where were you?

Riley Jr ➡ Sorry aunty, it’s a long story. I’m glad that you both are alive.

Hadiza ➡ Did something happen here?

Morenike ➡ Sure we nearly got killed but everything is fine now.

Riley Jr ➡ What happened?
.

Suddenly in that very moment, something strange began to happen. Black portals were appearing all over the city s–king in the spirits and demons that had been unleashed on the city and while that was happening, the roads and houses all over Ibadan began to change sizes randomly at a steady pace.

Hadiza ➡ What manner of crazy sorcery is this?
.

Chris ➡ What the hell is happening? Is this for real or am I getting mad?
.

Riley Jr ➡ Ah.. This juju no be here o.
.

Morenike ➡ Someone is doing this but who?
.

Solomon ➡ It’s Ebinoluwa… Use the necklace to reach her. You know what to do.
.

Morenike ➡ Everyone.. Stay close to me, I’m going to use the necklace to find Ebinoluwa.
.

In that moment, Morenike bites her thumb hærd injuring herself. She then uses her blood and smears it on the necklace. Instantly, the necklace shines bright with red light and within a blink of an eye, Morenike and the others disappear and teleport out of sight.

Catching that spirit s–king demon was no easy matter. It took a lot of effort for me and Lola to beat and finally catch the b-stard alive. After capturing the demon, Lola and I decided to rest for a while before we moved on and searched for the others and as we were resting, one of Ebinoluwa’s cousins appeared before us making Lola and I feel a bit uneasy.
Honestly the girl looked cute and she’s sure to become a real beauty when she grows up but the sinister glare she gave made me realize that the little ant was nothing but trouble.

Sara ➡ Lola.

Lola ➡ Hello little mistress.

Rotimi ➡ Hey.. Don’t you have any manners? Lola’s not your mate.

Lola ➡ (shivering with fear) Rotimi.. Stop it.

Before I could finish what I was saying, something smacked me really hærd that I was sent flying and crashing in a nearby car. The pain was too much that I could barely feel my legs. As I managed to get off the car, I was shocked when I saw some kind of being manifesting from the shadow, it was very big and horrifying. At first I thought it was a demon but then I realized it was the little brat’s magic. Lola was shivering that she said nothing, she was even sweating like crazy as if she was going to be executed.

Sara ➡ That should teach you not to talk at me, filth. I don’t care if you’re my cousin’s BF. If you overstep with me next time, I’ll kill you. (Leaves)

Just as I was about to give Lola a reply, something strange began to happen. There were portals appearing everywhere and the houses and streets were changing in sizes.
