I really need to go before that k-ssing jerk come back again and give me another round of k-ss.

I board a cab since I didn’t bring my car along. Getting home, I removed my damn heels that was really hurting my legs and dropped it aside.

I packed my hair and tied it with a rubber band.

I sighed and glance at the clock, it was 6:27pm.

Gosh! That pervert!

I slapped my forehead twice, and ran to my room with my heels.

I took a long shower and wore my nightie to the kitchen. I prepared dinner and ate to my satisfaction.

I watched some movies and retired to bed.

Really going to see that pervert again!

Next day………

Ano y.. ther boring day. I gasped when I turned to the table clock beside me.

Gosh! Am late! Did I really sleep that long?

I jumped out of the bed then to the bathroom and did my business there.

I came out of the bathroom in my pink towel and stretched my hand forward for my cream and damn it!

My towel fell. I was just lucky that someone isn’t here.

I took it up and rolled it up to my body. I creamed my body and wore a red gown, a black belt with black heels.

I did a little makeup on my face and smiled at my reflection in the mirror.

I took my bag and phone then walk out of the room. No need for breakfast. Gonna eat outside.

I entered my car and drove to the hospital. Actually, I wore this dress cause of today’s date with Doctor Nelson.

“Here comes the beauty” I heard and I stopped.

That’s not Enita but Doctor Nelson. He do call me beauty.

“Good morning doctor Nelson, how’s your night?” I asked politely.

“Good as you can see, so are you ready for today’s date?”

“Yep, can’t wait. Hmm, I need to go now.” I replied and turned to leave.

I clutched my bag tightly, I don’t wanna set my eyes on that jerk today. I don’t!

But it like fate or else should I say? Just keep bringing us together. Cause right now, he’s grinning like a fool.

Hmm! I just pray he won’t ask for another k-ss. I will definitely cut his l-ips.

I turned to another direction to avoid his trouble today.

“Don’t try to run away cause no matter what, you will still see me everywhere just the way my enemies are following me. Gosh!” He said and chuckled.

I scoff and ignored him.

“Good morning anyway, don’t worry I won’t ask for a k-ss today. Just don’t forget our lovely date tomorrow.” He added.

“Thanks for reminding me, now can I go? And I don’t want your trouble today. Else I will report you to Sir McDonalds” I warned.

He raised his hands up, “Sure, I won’t. I pinky promise not to disturb but….. ” I sighed when he said ‘but’.

“But what?” I gro-ned.

“But if anyone disturb you, I won’t take it likely with you”

“Do you like me?” I blurted.

“Obviously yes. You gonna hate me cause of that? I just like you nothing else” He shrugged.

I gulped and faced him. “Okay, I gotta go. I… Seriously… Need.. To go” I stuttered.

I walk to my office and sat down. I heaved a sigh and stared at the window beside me.

He likes me? This isn’t the real Enita I knew before. I mean, his eyes were filled with sincerity when he was talking.

Gosh! I need to forget and focus.

Fast forward……..

I called my neighbor Jason and asked him if he was at home and he said “Yes”. I pleaded with him to help me take my car home.

“Are sure you won’t be using your car cause I can see you’re going somewhere” He asked.

“Oh no! I will be going in someone else’s car Jason.” I replied.

“Okay, good luck. The keys please” I gave him the car keys and he drove out of the hospital.

I turned to see Nelson behind me, his blonde hair were scattered cause of the breeze that was blowing.

“Shall we?” He said and I nodded.

“Yes, we shall” I replied.

We got into the car. Minutes later, he stopped at a classic restaurant. He held my hand and we both walk in.

We took our seats, a waiteress appeared and asked for our orders.

“French fries and chicken nuggets” I said.

Nelson stared at me in awe. “Are you sure, you’re okay with that?” He asked .

“Yeah, am okay with that. And please get me red wine too”

“Okay ma’am, sir you?” The waiteress turned to Nelson and he ordered for Alfredo sauce.

The waiteress wrote them down and went in to go bring them.

“So, how about we talk about ourselves before she comes back” He started.

“Okay, you first”

“Fine, Where do your parents live? Are they in London here?”

“Nope, they are in Nigeria. They live there and that’s where I was brought up” I answered.

“Wow! They raised a beautiful and responsible girl.”

Oops! Am flattered.

“Thanks, and you?”

“Well, actually my parents aren’t leaving here. They live in Russia. I came here for greener pasture”

“Ohh! Okay.” That was all I said.

Am not the type that ask questions. So I don’t really know how to ask.

He continued.” Where did you meet that guy, I mean Enita”

Arrghhh! Why did he have to talk about that guy again.

“We met in Nigeria. And my patient, Mr Efe had to be his uncle. So I asked him to bring Enita to London.” I replied.

“Really? Do you have feelings for him? I mean, a tiny feeling”

Do I? Of course I don’t!

All he do is make me go crazy but that doesn’t mean I like him not to talk of feelings.

“Nope, I don’t. He’s actually not my type of man.”

The waiteress came back and set the meals on the table. I took a French fry and threw it into my mouth.

It tastes good.

“Actually Mimi, to be sincere, I like you. Have admire you for so long now. And don’t take it too serious. It just a mere likeness”

Yeah. Mere likeness.

Two guys likes me. And confessed about it just today.

“Hmm, I know you like me, it okay. We are friends anyway” I said.

“And I don’t really know why that boy has to keep coming and following you about!” He yelled.

“Excuse me? Am lost” I said, confusedly.

“Should I just do this to hurt him a little?” He faced me. His eyes were red.

What’s going on?

“Do what?”

“k-ss you” He replied and I gasped.

“No, don’t do that!” I warned but he was bringing his head closer.

And was also holding my two hands tight so I won’t push him away.

Why’s he doing this?

He held my chin and smiled. “Just once beauty” He whispered.

“Do that, and I will f-cking remove a tooth. Trust me. That your mouth that you want to you and k-ss my sugar ehh, it will surely kill you.

Ahh! So this is your plan right? To come and k-ss her when am here. You should know that you can’t do that except me.” I turned and saw that…. Oh God!

Enita!!!!!!! What the f-ck is he doing here? Did he even have to follow us?

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

“Keep that question first and let me deal with this goat here. You see this date, I will scatter it. Your plans has failed already. Wait, let me drink this wine and continue.” He drank Nelson’s wine and mine .

“Are you sure he’s normal?” Nelson asked.

No am not.

“I don’t have time to talk again, sugar bring your hand. We are going home” He took my hand but Nelson stopped him.

“You can’t just take her like that” Nelson shouted.

“Keep quiet Mr man. If you like have ten dates with her. I will surely appear and scatter it. Good night Doctor”

Ahhh! This guy just… Just ruined another date again. Am surely not going on a date with him tomorrow.

Am sorry, doctor Nelson. He’s just too stupid.

Chapter 13😍

Enita’s pov

I drag her out of the restaurant. Yeah I know have crossed my lane but I just don’t wanna see her with any man.

F-ck this feeling am having right now.

She yank her hand away and gave me an angry stare. Do I have to do this to her?

“Do you know what you just did Enita? You ruin my date. Must you interfere in my personal life?

You keep following me everywhere like a ….. Arrghh! You’re just a pain in the neck!” She yelled and hit me in the chest.

I felt somehow guilty. Maybe I should just let her be and not just trouble her but I can’t just…Gosh!

“I’m…I’m sorry Mimi. I really am. I won’t come near you again.

Am gonna avoid you. And remember I still like you. Good night sugar.” I whispered and peck her in the cheek before going to my car.

I got into my car and drove out of the place sadly.

Getting home, I saw my uncle and the Russia woman whose name is Stella were chatting in the sitting room.

I greeted them perfunctorily and went to my room. Sighing, I removed my clothes and under the shower,I was watching away every bad things away.

Am sorry for what I caused Mimi, just that I feel agitated whenever I see you with another guy.

I don’t know why I keep protecting and taking her away from every man I see with her.

Could it be that, am in love? Aisshhh! I don’t think so.

Am gonna find out about this feeling I do feel towards Mimi.

I dialled my mom’s phone number and she picked it.

“Enita my son!” Mom squealed and I smiled.

“Momma, how far now? How have you been?did dad sent my regards to you?” I asked.

“Of course he did! Am so happy for you darling. Now tell, have you found a girl to bring home?” Mom answered and I paused.

What?!

What’s she trying say?

“No mom, but soon” I replied.

“Hmm okay, but your voice sounds different today. Are you okay?”

“Mom nothing is wrong, am okay. Am just a little tired”

“Okay, take care. I need to do something in the canteen” My eyes flutter immediately.

At this time of the night?

“To do what? It just 8:30pm!” I said, licking my bottom lip.

“Don’t worry, I will be safe okay? So, I need to go now. Good night and sleep tight my son.” She said and finally, the line was dead.

I feel bored right now. Really bored for no reason.

I came down from my bed and wore my flip flop. Dipping my phone into my pocket and let out a breath.

I need to take a walk outside. I don’t wanna go far, am still new here.

I couldn’t find my uncle in the living room. I got to the door and opened it. The cold was so much that it can make one freeze.

But that didn’t stop me. I kept walking down the alley with my head down.

Kicking every stones and trash cans on the way. I wasn’t even thinking straight.

Mistakenly, I hit someone and that made me fell. I had my hand bruise and was gushing out tiny drops of blood.

“Am sorry sir, I didn’t mean to hit you” The person apologized.

She took a step and stretched her hand forward. She pull me up with all her strength but that didn’t help.

I had to stand up on my own. I arched my brow at the lady in front of me. Like seriously! I didn’t see that face well cause of the face cap she’s wearing.

“Eduvie? Is this really you?” I beamed.

Eduvie was my course mate back then in school. And she’s also the brilliant type.

She’s from a rich family.

I removed the cap i was putting on before, for her to see my face. She gasped, covering her mouth.

Am sure she never expect me to be in London cause of my background. This world is really small.

“Enita! Omg! Look at you! You’ve grown big! What are you doing here anyway?” She asked.

I put the face cap back on my head and we were both walking to only God knows where.

“Actually, it was my uncle who bought me here and also with the help of someone.” I replied.

“A lady or a man?” I stopped walking and turned to her.

Well, Eduvie once told me her feelings for me. She has a crush on me back then in school but I turned her down.

Don’t wanna put myself in trouble.

Am not sure if she still have that same feelings.

If she still do then I will…….turn her down again.

“A lady, is something wrong with that?” I asked her.

She shook her head. “Oh no! It nothing. Just wanna know”

“Okay, so are you living around here?”

“Yes, I came back here not quite long. My parents doesn’t live around here. I was the one who decide to live alone” I huff.

What a girl!

“Okay, so you’re working now?”

“Yeah, I work in a private hospital. Not far from here” She answered.

We chatted till we parted ways. Her house isn’t far from mine. We have to get to hers first before getting to mine.

I got home, ate dinner which was prepared by my uncle and went to my room.

I need to know how to cook some easy meals. Don’t wanna stress my uncle.

My mind drifted to what happened this night which was caused by me.

Ruining Mimi’s date with that fool.

Later, I began feeling dizzy and slept off.

Next morning…..🔊🔉

I woke up with a banging headache. I don’t really feel well this morning.

I dragged my self out of the bed to brush my teeth and take a warm bath.

I was wearing white shirt and a blue trouser. I combed my hair and all that. Looking round the house to check if I’d forget anything.

I didn’t forget anything so I got downstairs and saw uncle in his pajamas taking a cup of tea.

I didn’t bother to take bread, I just drank the hot tea like that. I bid my uncle bye.

Fast forward……….

I got to my office and prayed to God about what is gonna happen today. I picked my stethoscope and wore my lab coat.

Checking some patients temperature, some were discharge. I took some people’s blood for a test.

The nurse behind me kept writing some important things on the clipboard in her hand.

I never wanted to see the devil but I did.

He walk towards me with an annoying smile.

“You’re satisfied now right? Not after what you did!” He shouted.

Please is there a psychiatric hospital around you? Someone needs to be there.

“You made that girl cry for goodness sake!” He added.

What?! I made Mimi cry?

How dare me! 😏🙄

“Well, I already told her am sorry. But I don’t know why she still have to cry over that small thing I did yesterday.” I retorted.

“You call that small thing? You’re unbelievable!” He spat.

I ignored him and walk away saying nothing.

Why does she have to cry ?

I got to her office and entered without knocking. She flinched and a frown appeared on her face immediately.

“What the f-ck are you doing here? Must you come to see me every time? I thought you said, we gonna avoid each other. Why do you keep coming?” She yelled but that didn’t move me .

I kept steping forward and she was stepping back too till the wall hindered her. I stuck my hands in my pocket and brought my head closer to her face.

“Why do you have to cry over a ruined date?” I asked.

She stared at me confusedly. “Cry? Who the f-ck told you I cried? I never cried, all I do was yell at you yesterday. Thats all”

I smiled. I knew Nelson was lying. That bloody fool!

The coffin I asked you guys to purchase for me. I think he’s gonna use it. He’s tall and a little fat.

“Nelson told me that, I think he cares about you” I chuckled.

“Okay, but can you please go?” She gestured her hand forward to the door.

“I know you’re confused about two guys liking you. You don’t know who to choose, who to trust. Don’t worry, you gonna know soon.” She stared at me surprisingly.

She bit her l-ips and turned to the other side. Those l-ips again. I don’t wanna be tempted today.

“Why did you like me?” She suddenly said.

The answer is just simple but you see I can’t answer it without me k-ssing that l-ips. Don’t blame me.

I must k-ss it by fire by force.

I came closer and touch her chin, her perfect l-ips singing for me to k-ss them.

Am really going to say the truth to her. Only but the truth.

“You wanna know why?”

I asked and she nodded with a ‘yes’

I k-ssed that crazy l-ips again. It wasn’t a deep one and it didn’t took long before removing my l-ips.

To her ear, I whispered the first words I have never said to a girl before.

“CAUSE I LOVE YOU MIMI”
