Chapter 4(we got married)

I thought I heard wrong but I didn’t I mean wait 20 gini wow my baby is now a millionaire I wish baby jay is still in my tummy so I could share the good news with him. That brings fresh tears to my eyes as I held my tummy wondering when I will have another baby Jay.
I couldn’t reach Kanmi that night again but I know he must be in a club celebrating like a mad man if it was me won’t I? I will. I later travelled to Ibadan that same week to see how my boo is doing and he came to pick me at bus stop I was surprised he hasn’t bought a car yet well I did asked him.
“ I won’t do anything with the money without my Queen’s permission ” he said holding my hands and stopping a taxi I told him not to talk about it in public and he agreed. We went to my house first and my mum was so happy to see me a little bit bright better than the way I left Ibadan.
She cooked my favorite meal which Black Amala and Egusi soup well I like anything Egusi. Kanmi and I ate to our satisfaction and we went to the kitchen to do the dishes together.
“ do you know your mom cooks a lot better than you? ” he said knowing I don’t like him taunting me like that.
“ okay and she will be the one to be cooking for you when we get married bah? ” I said trying to hide my jealousy yes my mom can cook but I don’t like Kanmi rating people over me.
“ if she will agree ” he chuckled arranging the plate perfectly on the rack. I just roll my eyes and continue with what I’m doing but there’s no way I’ll allow him to win this but he is already getting the reaction he wants from me.
“ well my mom have a lot of work to do than to be your cook and what do you expect? She taught me how to cook so it’s only natural ” I said changing my reaction quickly from what he expected from me.
“ Babe don’t tell me you are angry ” he said trying to get me but I didn’t budge he touch my wa-ist and it tickles badly that I drop a dish it makes a loud noise. I have to find a way to to pack it from the floor and dispose it before my mom starts accusing me of breaking all her wedding gift.
“ you see your work ” I said after packing up the broken plate making sure I put the blame on him don’t mind me.
“ not my fault though you dropped it ” he said and I just hissed after disposing the plate. “ babe ” he said and I ignored him again but he grab my hand and corner me to a wall before claiming my l-ips. God knows how much I missed his k-sses and touches. I can’t get enough of it actually and the door opened to reveal my mum staring at us with her mouth wide opened. We quickly separate me going to the left and him going to the right.
“ I Know you miss each other but you should at least get a room! ” my mom said before closing the door behind her. Kanmi and I laughed at our naughtiness and quickly finished with cleaning.
Later in the evening Kanmi took me to an eatery for a date and it was so rom-ntic. We both found out we missed each other’s company and we talk about so many things that is missing in our relationsh¡p. I thought he is going to propose but he didn’t so I went home disappointed.
The next morning I woke up thinking about what Kanmi really want to do with that money. Yawning I went downstairs to get some water when I saw Kanmi discussing with my mom. Hmm so early in the morning what is he doing here? I asked no one in particular and since they were too busy to notice me I quickly hide in a corner so they won’t at least eavesdropping won’t hurt.
“ well so my daughter is fine with it I’m also fine with it. All I have to say is please never hurt my daughter or you won’t like your life at all ” my mom said and I wonder what she is fine with well listening to conversation halfway is really bad and full of suspense.
“ I promise ma’am I will take care of her forever and I’ll never hurt her so when should we come for the introduction? ” Kanmi said and I had to use every force in,side me to stop myself from scre-ming out loud. Oh God Kanmi want to marry me? Wait what else do I expect sef? Am I going to be Lord of the rings forever? Wait I don’t even have a ring yet but it’s manageable. Whether I have a ring or not I’m getting married to the love of my life.
I pretend I didn’t hear anything just going on my normal business. A month later Kanmi invest the part of the money in a company and became their major shareholder, with the blessing of God the business bloomed and he built a large house in an estate far from our Area.
My first in the house we party like mad just both of us, we invited my mum but she said she had to go to the airport to bring my cousin Primo home. Well I miss Primo myself that stubborn boy that always pick a fight with me when we were little.
Kanmi bought a cake to celebrate the house warming and while I was cutting the cake. I felt something hærd that’s strange, I cut other part and I saw a carton edge wheww what the heck?! I separate the carton from the cake only for the carton to turn to iPhone 6 carton the phone that was reigning and everybody want to use.
Seriously? I open it and I found the brand new phone, and in,side the charger case I found a ring. With a tiny paper that says will you marry me? I was so happy so that when he finally came out of the bedroom I had to to jump on him and he caught me with his broad arms.
