George held Dammie’s hand and led her to a nearby couch.

She grumpily sat down folding her hands around her body. She looked away still angry.

“First…I’m sorry for cheating on you but trust me, she was the one that sed-ce me.” George said taking in his lower lip.

“I don’t believe that. It doesn’t look like that. Had it been she was the one that truly sed-ce you she wouldn’t shout on you…but I have no problem with that part for now. Who is her husband? Tell me before I lose it.” Dammie said still not looking at him.

“Okay…but tell me you are no more angry with me for the fact that I slept with her.” He held her shoulder.

“I’ve forgiven you. Just tell me whatever you wanna say about the lady’s husband.” She said.

George smiled a little before talking.

“The man you saw sitting with your brother’s fiancée in a restaurant is her husband!” he said.

“What! You mean that hottie is the lady’s husband?” Dammie exclaimed joyously facing him.

“I just pray it’s not what I’m thinking.” Dammie said worriedly.

“What’re you thinking?” George asked.

“Never mind. I’d go for a test tomorrow.” Dammie said.

“Sorry my dear. It might be malaria.” George said.

‘Malaria indeed’ Dammie scoffed in,side.

“Yeah. You might be right. Just get me something okay?” She said resting her head.

He nodded and walked to the kitchen.

Dammie made sure he had walked away before taking his phone…luckily he hasn’t changed his password which gave her easy access.

She checked his call logs…and knew that the most called number apart from hers would be the lady that left now. She copied and saved it to her phone before going to his gallery..her eyes w¡dened when she saw the hottie picture and Cindy hugging tightly. She sent it to her phone too.

She carefully placed his phone back to its place and sat down well. Almost immediately, he came out of the kitchen.

“What took you so long?” She asked pouting .

“Trying to fixed you some noodles.” He said placing the tray containing the noodles and water with juice on the dining table.

She stood up and walked to the dining. He drew out a chair for her and she sat down comfortably.

“Thanks for this anyways.” She remarked eating.

He watched her eat.

“Why did she sed-ce you? Where do you guys met each other? How did you knew her?” Dammie suddenly asked.

George sighed.

“She was my ex. And I’m getting back at her for what she turned me into.” He said simply taking some alcohol In a cup.

“Tell me more. What did she turned you into?” She asked taking some water.

He gulped down the content in the cup before answering.

“That’d be all for now. forget about her ’cause i’ve forgotten about her already. Eat up, I need to f’ck the hell out of you” he said lustfully.

She smiled and winked at him sed-ctively blowing him a k-ss.

He smiled and walked to the living room.

She emptied the juice before leaving the dining to meet him in the living room.

Philip nodded and walked away still looking behind fearfully.

Mimi got to work immediately Philip was out of the room.

Cindy tried sitting up but felt a sharp pain in her abdomen.

“how did I slept off?” She asked

“maybe you’re tired because you slept immediately you drank little out of your juice earlier. I just decided to let you be ’cause I know how stressful your work is.” Philip said.

‘Can’t believe I’m doing this? What happened to my upright Philip?” Philip questioned himself in,side.

Cindy bought the lie from Philip. She believed him because she had a tiring day at work.

“Sorry I slept off here. I have to go now.” Cindy said and hurriedly took her leave.

She didn’t even bother saying goodnight or anything. She drove out of his place blaming herself for sleeping off in Philip’s house.

“Even if I’m tired, I should have just leave gently without embarrassing myself.” Cindy muttered slamming her hand on the steering.

Philip was in his office in thought.

“Sorry sir…spare me some minutes.” his Secretary said.

“Go on.” Philip said absentmindedly.

“I wanna stop working. I’m getting married in the next two weeks. After the wedding, my husband and I are relocating to another town.”She said.

“Make a vacancy notice. Good luck in your wedding and try to remind me when your wedding is near.” He said.

“Okay sir. Thank you.” She bowed and left.

“Wowwww!” Dammie exclaimed loudly making her mum rushed downstairs in haste.

“What happened?” Mrs Jenny asked in shock.

“what made you shouted?” she added.

“Mum..I finally saw a vacancy in a company.” She said smiling.

Mrs Jenny breathed out in relieve.

“You almost gave me an attack.” Mrs Jenny said

“Sorry mum. Just happy’

“Congrats.. I’ve gotten some things to attend to in the store.” Mrs Jenny said

“Thanks mummy…I’d start working soon!” Dammie said dancing

“Prepare for the interview.” Mrs Jenny shouted.

“That’s not a problem!” She shouted back.

She started dancing around the living room.
