Abigail walked back home in anger and shut the door behind,she didn’t know the reason for all this.does it mean that she is strarting to fall for Kingsley.

Kingsley pushed Lara away and went after Abigail.he gt to her house and tried to knock on the door but withdraw himself from knocking knowing fully that Abigail won’t let him in.he quickly pushed the door and it opened wide revealing Abigail in a gloomy mood.he move closer to her, locking the door behind.

“What happened baby? Why did you left in anger?” he asked

“What are you doing with that lady?” She asked not minding his reaction to the question,it’s better to spill it out now than to hide her feelings.

“That lady is my friend” he replied gently

“Your friend? And she called you her boyfriend.i saw the both of you from afar, clinging unto you,you know….

“But,it doesn’t concern you Abigail,I havent proposed to you yet,why are you in an hurry? Hnn…

His statement shattered her heart,does it mean that he never loved her.

“Then…why did you call me your woman?”

“Like I said before,I can call you anything,it’s true that I liked you Abigail but let’s take things slow.i am trying to break free from that lady,I love you” he confessed

“You do”

“Yeah I do and I will do anything for you I this world” he replied moving closer to her and hugged her.

“What did you want to see me for in my house?” He asked

“It’s nothing” she replied shyly

“Are you shy?what did you mean by it’s nothing? Come on talk to me,did you want me to tickle you?” He asked calmly

“Hmm…you can’t” she replied while Kingsley brought her close to his laps.he wrapped his arms around her and k-ssed her neckline.

“Talk to me baby,any fear?”

“Hum…its dayo”

“What about him?” He asked releasing her from his grip

“He threatened me”

“He will die before today runs out, satisfied with that?” he asked with an ev!l smile on his face.

“I don’t want him dead,don’t let us k!ll anyone,I just want you to teach him a lesson that he won’t forget,he should never disturb me”

“It’s done babe” he replied moving closer to her and plant a k-ss on her dried l-ips.

“You taste good you know! How is your dad?” He asked all of a sudden.

“Oh! I havent call mum back”

“Why don’t you visit them?”

“I have a paper to go” she replied

“Alright! When you are done with tomorrow paper let me know so that I can drive you to your place”

“But I haven’t see any car with you yet?” She said

“I don’t normally drive my cars,I have fifteen cars but it’s kept somewhere,dont worry,I will drive you tomorrow” he said hugging her and left.

Abigail feel relieved,at least she owns him and no one will disturb her life again.

Abigail is through with her papers and packed up her loads, Ayomide and Binta bid her farewell as she entered Kingsley car and was drove off.

“Our place is far oo,I hope you have enough fuel in,side your car?”

“You dey whyne me? I have up to 15litres of petrol in my car apart from the fact that there is petrol in,side the fuel tank,just let me Know if you need anything”

“I will,here is the direction” she replied handling the description to her.

He drove for a hour while Abigail slept off.opening her eyes,they are yet to gt home.

“Your place is far o babe”

“That is it,so far,but in the next two hours,we will be home but before then.boo I am hungry

“You are hungry? I am also hungry,let’s pull over at a restaurant.he scanned the street around for a nearby restaurant and pulled over.

They both walked in,side the restaurant while they are attended to immediately.they were served their food and they both eat hungrily.Kingsley phone rang.

“Hello,I will call you back”he replied dropping the spoon.

“Abigail please I will be back,let me attend to this call” he replied and squirred off.

A guy came in after Kingsley left and walked towards Abigail seat.

“Good evening young lady,please can I sit here?” he asked in a gentleman tone.

“No,you can’t,my boyfriend will be here any minute,that is his seat”

“But it remain one seat naw,why don’t he sit there when he is back.i want to talk to you” he replied sitting at Kingsley seat.

“What did you want to say?” She asked in a harsh tone.

“Chill baby! You are stressing yourself with that tone.anyways I am opeyemi gbadebo,I am…

He was cut short by Kingsley

“Excuse me young man,that is my seat”

“Oh! You are her boyfriend,but did you worth her?” He asked sarcastically

“What did you mean by that language,are you nor…Mal?”

“I mean well,look here,young lady,how would you date ski-ny guy like this when i,a built man want to talk to you”

“You are m.a.d mister man and I know what to do to people like you,let’s go Abigail we are running out of time” he replied dragging Abigail up while they both left.

“We have to leave this area quickly,that guy I there is the leader of red confraternity,he is trying to use you to get to me.i recognize him,Zico has sent his pictures to me when I received the call in there” he replied driving fastly while Abigail heartbeat raised up.this is the trouble she is avoiding in joining them all this while.

Kingsley move faster through the lonely road and after thirty minutes of driving,they arrived at ABIGAIL HOUSE.

Abigail get down quickly and move closer to her house but met some people in the front of the house.hastily,she walked in,side the house leaving Kingsley behind…

She opened her mouth wide in shock at the sight before her after entering the house ….

Abigail opened her mouth wide in shock at his dead father corpse in the sitting room surrounded with different people wailing while some are pacifying her mother.sherushed to the corpse and shake it while people pulled her back.

“It’s not true,don’t tell me that it is true,wake daddy up” she shouted scre-ming while people hold her.

“No da…ddy….you can’t die now,who will take care of us” I shouted.people keep on pacifying them.kingsley entered the house seeing all this,he shake his head and calmed Abigail down.

Abigail dad was finally laid to rest after few days of wailing,Kingsley lodge into a nearby hotel pending the time that everything will died down.

“Mummy,how did dad die?” Abigail asked after a week

“My daughter, immediately you sent the money to me.i quickly deposited it to the hospital,they were about to move your dad into the theatre room when he gave up the ghost.my child,i am sad.the money was returned to me and I have kept it for you.make sure u return it back to where you lend it from.its in my drawer,go and take it” she ordered while I broke down into fresh tears.

It’s not for anything but for the fact that her reason for joining the group has no meaning to her now.the money is useless and there is no way that she is going to leave the group.

Kingsley came to visit the family while Abigail introduced him to the family and the owner of the money she lend it from.the woman thanked him but Kingsley insisted in leaving the money with her.

“Mummy,you don’t need to return the money.i give it all to you,my father is a rich man and I have more than enough money with me.this is a stipend to me please accept it ma and don’t hesitate to ask anything from me.i am willing to help your family” he said

“Ah thank you my son,the God will stay with you,you will never lack” the woman prayed.kingsley is impressed with the way the woman behave and add extra 200k to it.the woman jumped up and went on her kneel while Kingsley prevent her from kneeling down.

“It’s okay mama,I am only a small guy,manage the money ma” he said while the woman praised him.

“Mama,I want to see him off,I will be back” Abigail said standing up.she left with Kingsley and enter his car.he drove to a place not too far from Abigail place and halt the car.

He sighed and faced her
“Abigail,sorry for your father loss,I know how painful this is to you buy please take heart and be strong.you don’t need to worry about your responsibilities.i will take care of everything including your younger ones please take heart.

“Thanks Kingsley for Everything but I was thinking of leaving the group when the reason I joined in the first place is no longer valid or what did u think”

“You dare not opt out,babe don’t try me o,I don’t want to hurt you.did I do anything to offend you?I am protecting and taking care of you so what else did you want? Please don’t say this statement to my hearings again.i love you babe” he replied pecking her while she nod her head.he gave her an envelope containing some amount of money.

“Take this for your upkeep and in,side that envelope,there is a chain there.you should always wear the chain as protection,once you sensed that there is trouble just press the button beside the chain and I will get the message” he said and left.

Abigail used the money with her to establish a good business for her mum.the woman is now living comfortably,she is happy seeing all this.once her family is Happy,she is also happy . She normally call Kingsley on the phone and they chatted often.she has fall deeply for him…..

Abigail broke down in tears while favour patted her back.

“You don’t need to cry,it is In the past”

“Can I really trust you with all my secrets,you are a stranger after all” Abigail said

“Don’t let the trust you had in me fade away,I am a woman and I will keep your secret,talk to me” favour replied.

“You will be hungry now” Abigail said and went in to prepare her some food.she dished out the food and handed it to her.

“Thanks ma” favour replied

“Please what happened next? ” Favour asked.

“Hmmm,I will tell you everything,the reason why I don’t tell my husband is that I have done many grievous things in the past.its really painful”.

“You have to split it out so that you will be free,please what happened next when you had a vacation in school?” Favour asked.

“Calm down dear,this is just the beginning of the story” she said while favour sit very well on the chair.
