Time flies, exams is fast approaching and I have been preparing hærd, I mean h-rder than I’ve ever been.
It was Saturday, I have the wh0le day to myself. Even though Adrian is coming over later in the evening, for Lesson of course.
I had my bath and dress up before leaving my room for downstairs to have breakfast.

“So you mean, he wants his son and I to go on a date? ” I ask my Dad in disbelief.
After breakfast he calls me to tell me that the Minister wants me to go on a date with his son so we can get to know each other.
“It’s okay if you don’t want to, I’ll just call him and tell him. Doesn’t matter “my Dad mumbles taking out his phone.
“No no don’t, I’ll go since it’s just a date” I stop him.
“Are you sure, you don’t have to go if you don’t want to. I understand ”
“No problem Dad. It’s just a date and besides its been long since I went to one. ” I tell him. Even though, I really don’t want to, but for my Dad he needs my help right now and I’m gonna help me no matter what it takes.
“Let me go get dress ” I tell him and walk to my room.
Came back an hour later when a maid informed me that my date is here.
I just have to be home before Adrian will be around, I don’t need him to know about this date and hopefully Dad won’t say anything to him either.
I finally came face to face with a very handsome boy who I guess is that minister’s son.

“Hi I’m Jordan “the boy who I think will be the same age as me or maybe a year older smile at me with his hand out for a shake.
I took his hand with a big smile “I’m Gemma”
“I know, father told me a lot about you, it’s nice to finally meet you “he grin showing his set of white teeth.
“Same here ”
“So are you ready for the date? ” he c*ck his brow and I nod.
I turn to Dad who has been watching us “Bye Dad ”
“We are leaving ” Jordan also say.
“okay, you two be careful. Jordan please take care of her ” my Dad answer.
“Sure Mr villers ”
“Let’s go ” he took my hands leading me out.
He open the car door for me and I got in muttering a thank you. He also enter the driver’s seat and start driving to God knows where.
Oh I haven’t told you how he looks like. Well Jordan is handsome but he’s no where close to Adrian. He has this boyish look, black hair, brown eyes and full l-ips.
“Are you checking me out?” I heard him say and I turn my face away.
“It’s okay to check me out. I got that a lot from girls and it’s no longer a big deal anymore its just that for a beautiful girl like you to check me out is charming “he laughs.
‘What’s so funny’ I thought.
I just smile in response.
He finally parked in front of a fancy restaurant. Well I didn’t expect less.
I was about opening the door myself but he was quick to do it first.
“Don’t worry my lady, I got this door ” he jokes.
We both walk in to the restaurant and a security guard led us in.
We both sit down and they gave us the menu.
I was still looking for what to order in the menu. I look up to see Jordan staring at me.
“Have you seen what to order yet? ? “he smiles.
I raise my eyebrows, then nod.
He calls the waiter and he took our order.
Seconds later our food was brought by a girl.
I start eating and he does too.
“So Gemma, tell me about yourself “he ask looking at me.
I clear my throat and drink bit of water.
“Well, my name is Gemma, I’m 19 years old. My best color is pink. What more do you wanna know ”
“Are you single or taken? ” he smirks.
“I.. Well I don’t know ” I scratch the back of my head.
“What do you mean you don’t know ” he stops eating and focus on me.
“I mean, I’m not single ”
“So you’re in a relationsh¡p then ”
“Yes “I answer him.
He didn’t say anything else about it but changed the subject.
I realize Jordan is one talkative, he ask a lot of question and talk non stop and he’s also a funny guy.

Minutes later, he parked in front of my house and came to open the door for me.
“So… I had a great time ” I say truthfully.
“I’m glad you did. ” he grins.
“I guess we are friends now, or maybe more later on ” he winks.
Maybe more? Boy don’t go there!
“Bye ” I say turning to leave.
“Hey ” he grab me wrist pulling me back and then he k-ss me. I didn’t hesitate in pushing me off him.
“What do you think you are doing ” I yell.
“Ah.. I’m sorry, I didn’t know you’ll be angry” he smirks and I gave him a deadly glare.
“Gemma ” I hear Adrian’s voice.
We both turn to the direction of the voice. My eyes w¡dened seeing Adrian standing in front of us looking so furious, his hands is already in a fist.
I quickly move away from Jordan. “Ad..rian ” I stutter.
“Who is he? ” Jordan ask.
What the f-ck is he still doing here.
“It’s none of your business, leave! ” I snap.
He look from me to Adrian, then shrug and walk to his car. He winks at me and drive out.
I sigh and turn to Adrian.
“Please will you let me explain, I know you got the wrong idea ” I beg.
“What do you want me to think, I saw you k-ssing him. I thought we agreed that none of us should anyother relationsh¡p or affair but you won’t keep to your words. ” he scowl.
“He k-ssed me! I swear he k-ssed me Adrian, I never knew he would ” I explain.
“Who is he? And why do you go out with him in the first place. Look at you all dress as if going out on a date…. Wait! It’s actually a date. Goddammit Gemma, you could have told me you don’t want me anymore, you could have told me you want a young and rich guy and I would just f-cking leave you alone. Now look, I mean look at his car it show that he’s rich.. “Adrian rants on.
“Listen Adrian it’s nothing like you think ” I grab his arm.
“Don’t touch me “he growls and I almost cry.
“Remember the dinner with the Minister? That’s his son, he wants his son and I to go out and get to know each other…You know what he said that day ”
“And you said yes ”
“Adrian I can’t say No, you have to understand my Dad needed my help and I can’t say no to him ”
“You are taking this more complicated than it is, it’s just a k-ss ”
“A k-ss? Wow so are you telling me that you will f-cking like it If I k-ss a girl right in front of you. ”
“I’ll be jealous of course, because I like you and I won’t want to ever share you with anybody ” I confess looking at his face for any reaction.
His face softens a little bit at my confessions.
“So you were jealous “I tease with a grin on my face.
“This is for you ” he gave me a parcel from his bag and walk away leaving me confuse.
But.. I thought we are cool.
I sigh and head in,side.
“What was that noise ” my Dad says descending from the stairs.
“What noise? I was just chatting with Jordan” I lied
“Has he gone ” he ask and I nod.
“I take the date was good? ”
“It was, until he k-ssed me ” I tell Dad.
“What! That’s nonsense. Why will he do that. I should have known he isn’t a responsible guy and I won’t let you go to that date ” dad Retort angrily.
“It’s okay, I already gave him a piece of my mind, he wouldn’t dare to do that next time ”
“There will be no next time, cos you’re not meeting him again “says my overprotective Dad.
I laugh and hug him.
“I love you Daddy and I know you love me too ” I say so that he can let the matter go.
“I will text Adrian to cancel your class today so that you can rest “my Dad says.
He had no idea that Adrian was here few minutes ago.
“Okay “I reply briefly and leave for my room.

“So do you think your result will be good ” Camille ask after we finished our exams. And the School will be closed for Christmas and new year’s holiday today everyone is excited especially me I’m super excited.
“Of course it will be good ” I smirk at her.
“You sound like you’ve have seen your result already ” she says as she took a bite of from her chocolate making me remember I have one too.
“I’ve been attending private class remember? ” I eat from my chocolate.
“Well that’s true. I’m sure Mr Gonzalez gave you some tip..”
“Why will you say that Cam, he never told me anything ” I interrupt.
“If you say so. Let’s go home ” she replies picking up her bag. I pick up mine too, just then I saw Adrian walking down the Music studio to his office.
“Ahm.. I don’t think we can go home together sorry ” I say to Camille and start to run towards Adrian’s office.
He was about to close the door but I quickly stop it with my leg.
“Not so fast ” I grin entering the room.
“You “he smiles widely and wraps his arms around my wa-ist pulling me to him.
I remember how this jerk right here almost gave me an heart attack thinking he was still angry after the drama of Jordan until the next day when he told me he’s not mad at me anymore and guess what he said next?
He said he likes me too! Mehn I was feeling fly that day.
“Babe you zoned out “he chuckled and k-ss my l-ips slightly.
“Sorry ” I smile. “So I’ve you seen my exam script? Did I do well? “I ask.
“Well,,, I think you did “he looks at me in admiration.
“Yes!!! ” I exclaimed happily disengaging from his hold.
“So there’s something I wanna ask you- f-ck the door isn’t close!” he swore and my eyes w¡dened.
“Omg is anyone looking?” I ask my heart racing.
“Thankfully, no one “he says closing the door.
“So what do you want to ask me ” I sit down on his chair while he stands in front of me.
“Will you be my Girlfriend Gemma ” he ask making me smile.
“I already made myself your girlfriend even if you didn’t ask me ” I grin.
“Well I realize we have not given our relationsh¡p a name yet, so.. ”
“I will be your girlfriend ” I cut him off and a hug smile form on his l-ips.
“We are officially a couple hun “he says staring at my face. The smile on his face had drop.
If he’s thinking the same thing I’m thinking right now. We are a couple to our selves, no one else can know and it’s f-cking annoying, I wish I haven’t met him as my teacher, I wish we would have met as a…just something less awkward than teacher and student.
“One day Gemma, just one day. I will be able to show you off to the world that you’re mine, my Girlfriend. I’m looking forward to that day. If it comes I won’t hesitate to. That’s a promise. ” he says and I didn’t even know when a tear drop from my eyes.
I nod my head.
“I.. ” I couldn’t find a word.
He grab my hand and place it on his chest. “You feel this, you feel the way my heart is beating? It has never beat for anyone like that ” he smiles.
“I like you a lot Gemma or just maybe, I don’t know but.. Maybe I’m in love with you? “he says and I gasps.
“Adrian ” I call.
“How can you say that? ” I couldn’t stop myself from tearing up.
“I’m gonna say this again, I’ve never felt this way towards any girl before so my guess might be right ” he smile then cup my cheek with his left palm bring his head closer his lip met mine sending sparks all over my body. He k-ss me with so much tenderness and love and I could feel myself melting, my heart beating fast.
I know I like Adrian. A lot. But love? I don’t think I love him or maybe I haven’t realized it yet.
He breaks the k-ss but his palm stayed on my cheek.
“You should go home now, it’s holiday “he rub his thumb on my cheek. I close my eyes and heave a sigh of pleasure.
“k-ss me ” I say opening my eyes and he smirk.
“Ah I want too, but..i have to go somewhere urgently ”
“Where are you going? “I ask him.
“To see my mom at the hospital “he says.
“Oh..by the way how is she now? ”
“She’s doing better, I have to go “he mutter looking at me pleadingly.
“Well, I wanna go see her too. Take me with you ” I tell him and he look at me bemused.
“Are you sure? ”
“Of course, let’s go ” I say and walk out of his office with him walking behind me.
“Let’s use my car? “I ask when we got to the where my Car is. It’s the only car still remaining in the lot except my dad’s.
He nods opening the door for himself and sit in.
“Give me the key if you’re gonna stand there forever ” he yells and I laugh.
I throw the car key at him and he walk to the driver’s seat while I seat beside him.
“Don’t you have a car? ” I ask.
“I sold it “he answers his eyes focused on the road.
“Why? ”
“Because I needed the money ”
“For? ”
“For my mom’s treatment, she had a m****l disorder ” he sigh.
“I’m so sorry ”
“It’s not your fault, I’m just glad she’s responding to treatment. She’s back to her normal self according to Doctor ”
I nod.
We soon get to the hospital and we both get down from the car. I followed Adrian’s lead and I’m surprise how everyone we met seems to know him even patients.
I’ve been to a psychiatrist hospital this will be my first time.
Adrian open a door and we both step in.
“Mom!”Adrian grins upon seeing his mother.
“Adrian, my son ” the woman smile and gesture that Adrian to come closer which he then ruffles his hair with her hands.
“Mom, you don’t destroy my perfect hairstyle. ” Adrian giggles like a kid. This is the side of him that I’ve never seen before. God he’s looks adorable!!
“Oh shut up “Adrian’s mom laugh.
Adrian stand up to introduce me that’s when I could see his mom well. And wait she looks familiar.
“Who is she? ” she smile.
“Mom, this is my Girlfriend Gemma, Gemma my mom “Adrian introduce with a big smile.
“Gemma? ” Adrian’s mom mutter that’s when I remember where I’ve met her. She’s the new maid I slap and fired that day.
“Mom you know her? ”
Oh no! She shouldn’t be Adrian’s mother. I’m so dead. Adrian is gonna be mad at me if he knows.
“Gemma do you know my mom from somewhere? ”
“No I don’t think so “I lied.
“You don’t know me? You.. You slapped me that day. You fired me! “she shouts and I froze.
Adrian jaw dropped. “Mom what are you talking about?
“She..she’s the girl “she yells again.
“Mom please calm down okay!” Adrian tried calming her mom down but she keeps shouting. A Doctor ran in,side and give her a injection to sedate her.
“You know so well that she shouldn’t be shouting or get emotional Adrian “the doctor scold Adrian.
“I’m sorry Doctor ” he apologize and the doctor left.
“Adrian ” I call.
“You can leave now, thanks for visiting my mom “he says not looking at me.
“I’m sorry.. ”
“Leave “he growls cutting me off. The love and admiration in eyes whenever he looks at me has been replaced with a disgusting and hate which made my heart drop.
I didn’t say anything else I left the hospital.
I’m starting to feel disgust with my self, my attitude. Maybe I should be expecting more karma because of my past misdeeds.
I tried calling Adrian through out that day he didn’t pick up or neither did he answer my text. The last time I called him he has switched off his phone.
God! What would I do.
