Daniel didn’t even understand what was happening. when he realized was when he saw his fellow colleagues sitted, some people from the village he worked, even his manager was present too.
The wh0le thing looked like a dream to him.
 
#Okpunke village.
Ekaette came out of their house and noticed that the wh0le village was des**ted. she didn’t know what really happened until he saw an elderly who told her what happened.
“Good morning ma”she greeted
“Good morning my child ”
“Please ma why is the wh0le village des**ted?
“Oh haven’t you heard?
Ekaette shook her head negatively.
“You remember the people that worked here few months ago? one of them is getting married today to his colleagues.
“Ok MA, please do you know the groom name? she asked
“Yes, they said his name is Daniel”
“You said Daniel? Ekaette asked feeling her heart racing.
“Yes that’s the name, or do you know him?
Ekaette didn’t respond to her final question, she ran in,side the house bang the door and cried her heart out.
The old woman shook her head and left.
“Children of nowadays, I can see she’s in love with him “she smiled and left.
Ekaette was still crying in the house.
“It’s just two weeks that we broke up and he has even move on with his life and I’m here dying for him “she said in tears.
“I think I have to move on too, maybe we were not meant for each other. she cleaned her eyes and stood up.
Meanwhile Daniel was staring at the environment strangely. Sandra was sitting next to her in the same chair that was designed . people were smiling at him meanwhile he was still surprised.
“What’s this all about? he whispered to Sandra
“Relax it’s nothing “she said and flashed him a smile.
Daniel sat down and in less than 5 minutes the priest arrived holding the Holy Bible in his hand that was when the wh0le drama was now clear to Daniel that here is the marriage Sandra planned to marry her off without his knowledge.
He frowned his face immediately and Sandra noticed it and touch him to smile.
The priest ordered them to stand up and face each other which they obediently did.
After the priest did the other talking it was now time to proclaim them husband and, Daniel looked at his wrist watch as if he was expecting someone.
“Miss Sandra, do you agree to take Daniel as your lawfully wedded husband? in times of good and bad and it times of sickness and good health “the priest said.
“Yes I do”she replied smiling
“Master Daniel, do you agree to take Sandra as your lawfully wedded wife in time of good and……..
He was interrupted with a distance voice.
“Not so fast Reverend father “A voice interrupted making everyone to look at the direction the voice came from.
They saw 5 police men dressed in police uniform holding their guns 🔫 and the leader standing in front of them.
Daniel smiled inwardly and disengaged his hand from Sandra.
“Woman you are under arrest for the attempted murder of miss Ekaette Williams, you have the right to remain silent or anything to U say here will be used against you in the court of law. handcuff her” said the Sergent .
The other police officers walked to were Sandra was, she was visibly shaking and everyone could noticed it. some people who knew Ekaette was even thinking whether it could be true.
“Wait….. “the priest ordered
They stopped
“At least let them be joined as husband and wife before you take her”he said.
“No, as a matter of fact this marriage. she planned it alone without the man knowledge, he does not even love her but she did everyone and caught him unaware “said the Sergent.
Everyone were so shocked to the bones especially the women thinking how foolish the thing sounds to them.
even her manager could not bear the shame and some of her colleagues he left the place.
“Is it true young man? the priest asked
Daniel only nodded his head looking down.
Everyone exclaimed of how foolish Sandra was. some were even calling her names and even cursing her.
“Take her away “he ordered
The police handcuffed her and took her out.
“Please honey don’t do this to me. remember I’m carrying your child “she shouted shedding tears.
They put her in the police 🚨 van and drove off.
#Flashback.
Immediately Sandra ended the call with Daniel and told him that she wants to see him the next day dressed in suit. he wondered what could that be that she wanted him to dressed in suits.
Just then, an idea hit his head. he went in,side and searched his travelling bag, brought out the fake wedding card Sandra printed and saw that the date she put on the card was tomorrow. be smiled knowing fully well that it’s right time for him to strike.
“What a crazy woman “he said and brought out his phone and dialed the commissioner of police 👮 number and he picked at first beep.
“Sir, you need to strike tomorrow ”
“Where will we found her and the address?
“She’s even planning the fake wedding with Me tomorrow without my knowledge. come to Georgetown hotel no. 60 heaven road by 10:00am tomorrow.
“OK
He ended the call.
#Next day
After he had prepared, he drove to the police station and did every required things and left after telling them to come by 10.
That was how it happened.
#Reality.
Everyone were shocked at what happened. how can Sandra planned to force someone to marry her when he doesn’t even love her.
The wh0le place scattered and everyone returned home.

Ekaette was still indoor when a knock sounded on the door. she wondered who could that be because she was not expecting anyone.
she opened the door only to find Steve standing outside smiling at her. she immediately jumped on him and hug him real good.
Steve is Ekaette childhood friend. they loved each other starting from childhood until he finally travelled out of the village to the city.
