" And am twenty eight still young i guess" he said reluctantly and mum scoffed. " Young indeed,you don't look young to me. You know your dad got married to me when he was twenty five and i was twenty four. I guess you want to get married when you are thirty five and and am not sure if you get married at that certain age because you have taking a decision that you aren't get married ever prefer to be single and which am not in support with your foolish decision,that not gonna happen not on my watch" I reply with sound of authority etching over my last statement,he rolled his eyes away and return with a broadly smile. " okay mum i we get married as you wish" he finally agreed. "But you should give me time. I haven't find a girl yet and am sure you don't want me to end up with the wrong woman. Olivia and Nora were bad choices and am not gonna make that wrong mistake again" he stated. " Mum please" he half yelled and headed to the kitchen. ~ Jay pov~ I finally agreed reluctantly to get married. I gulped down some water and went to meet mum and she told me,she wanna stay in California till she sees me getting married. This woman is something else. . Jennie pov It was nighttime already i got home after a long day. My day was ruined because of that man and unsatisfying consumers. But that man is really handsome I mean his face,those eyes and those muscle. Oh my God he so cute. Damn it ! why am i so engrossed in that fool rich brat of a man any away. Here am i tossing and turning in my bed thinking about him,even after his behaviour. Am thinking about him like those teenage girls who are always fond of talking and dying for their high school crush. But why do i feel more than engross in his male beauty. And curses,i cussed. I wanna see him again,just hope isn't what am thinking. Those feelings,which make women weak. And i hate men they're full of deceit,betrayers and they become irresponsible after marriage. Up till this day,i've always make my heart stone hearted to people especially men. I haven't dated any guy since my school days. I have made them run away from me. Melanie have always advice me to give up my attitude towards men and people. But i pay less attention to her advice. Because i believe you should treat the world the same way and in the past people was heartless and so other sarcastically thing i could think about. But this fool as ruined my peace.I sat up unable to sleep after while got out of bed. Went own stairs made my way to the kitchen and gulped down some water i pour into my glass. Who am i kidding the water is not gonna help me have peace of mind. Any away i pour another water into the glass cup and gulped down the entire water. I drop the glass down and went up stairs. I pass by Alec room,opened the door a little and peeped in and saw Alec sleeping peacefully. I went to mum room and do the same but she wasn't on the bed,maybe she is in the bathroom. My eyes wonder around the room only to meet her phone in her hand. Am sure she have called or maybe want to call that useless so called husband of hers. I wonder why mum is still engrossed with that drunken,woman beater. My suspicious was right after all. Her phone rang and she answered the call.She place the phone on her ears for sometime. I could hear a person voice that belong to a male and who else that husband of hers. " Okay i will,but what happened to the food stuff and some money i gave you this morning"mum said to him. I closed my eyes and heavy a sigh of frustration,rolled my hands into a ball. " When will you be responsible,you use all the money i gave you to buy alcohol.Why do you not do something responsible once in your miserable life" mum said and i couldn't contain the anger i felt within. I flew the door wide open and barge in. Mum turn and saw me,obviously she heard the sound of the door which flew open and was taking aback. You gat ya own business now,so you must give me at any course and what i use the money for, isn't for your business " he fired back with his drunken husky voice. I scoffed and raised my brow when i heard what he uttered. " i suppose to provide for you indeed, mr George or mr drunkard that suit you well. You should be grateful that mum is kinda care for you,if it was me am gonna live you up to that f-cking miserable life of yours,i sterned. " why am i even speaking to a drunkard. You're drunk and always drunk" i gibed Now go to hell" i yelled and hang the call. I handle over the phone to mum.She collected it and avoid my deadly glare that was visible in my eyes. " mum when will you stop being foolish" i insult and she frowned. " i don't require or approve such foul language to be use on me. In case you've forgotten,let me clarify my position. I might be living in ya home,but am your mother. I think you should start giving me the respect i deserve" she fired back and i heavy a sigh of frustration. Jennie pov I woke up early as usual and freshen up and i also do some morning routine. It was Sunday and we all went to church because today was Sunday. After that i decided to take mum and Alec with me to see the movies in the cinema. Well just for fun they might not get to see this chance again. Three days later. I was in the restaurant,when u got a call from Alec that something is came up and they need me urgently. I try requiring what might have happened but Alec hang the call. Wow just great, am left in suspense,i muttered to myself feeling curious. My car broke down yesterday. So i've giving it to the car repair. Am gonna collect it tomorrow from the mechanic. I hurray out of the restaurant and giving my workers order and went out and hailed a cab. The car stop and i hopped in. " Please take me.....before i could tell the driver the destination. Someone distracted me and my attention was diverted to the person. It was a man. I swallowed hard at the spot of him and my heart was pounding in my chest as i was already trembling on his presence. Of course is this same guy i had a fight with and the guy i ruined my nights. He too was about telling the driver us destination,when he finally had a glance of me,he hasn't notice me since and he couldn't the cab man is destination because he was now staring at me. " oh my God, that cute face,those gray eyes that i couldn't stop imagine them and that smooth hair,and finally is muscles. The driver voice jolted my senses that was knock at of me to reality. He also rolled his eyes away. i quickly remember all our fight last time and have been looking for him to teach him a lesson. But is that why i am dying to see him,is it because i've unfinished business with me. i look at him sternly. I choice to avoid me because he just got down on me that i was suppose to be home for the urgent call. They both of us echoed our destination at once and i we turn to glare at each other. The driver told us he is only gonna go to my destination. He glance at the driver with lethal look. Jay pov My car broke down in the road. I was so mad at the driver for not checking the car in the morning when it was at home. Am gonna get him fired. I hate incompetent people. I was gonna be late for the meeting i had today all because of this useless driver. I have to hauled a cab,because i can't afford to be late. I hopped in. Just i was about to tell the driver my destination i spot her. The one i've sleepless night thinking of meting her again. I was happy that i've seen her again once more. We were staring I was got out of my dreamland all thanks to the driver. I just not wanna feel the way for any woman. But heart we not let me. But am not gonna accept it. The driver said he is only going to one destination that was hers. But am not gonna be the one to get out. She as to live am almost late for my meeting. The driver doesn't know who am anyway. When i show him money is gonna throw this woman out of the car and go to my way. Umm Jay and Jennie take it easy Lol. Tbc.......
