πŸ–€ Chapter Seventeen πŸ–€

Seven Years Later

Seven years passed with no threat from Esme, it was like she was dead but I knew she wasn’t. At each passing day, I saw death hovering around me, I could perceive the stench of the dead. I learnt how to control my powers, learnt to listen to the whispers but nothing came out of it. Arc never spoke of that day, he would only k-ss my worry away, it wasn’t much of a help but at least it was something.

Just like planned, Vivid k-ss died, Judith and Sage gone, I went back home for a few months before I faked my death. The scandal was here and there but everything died down eventually. Emy and I still kept in contact, after the wh0le thing, she moved to live with her parents and then joined her father’s company. She being his daughter was another shock to the press. Her life was better than mine, she had a fiancΓ©, a son and now owns her father’s companies. Chlorie and Emy were still together, free from the worries of life.

My life wasn’t that bad, I had the most lovely husband and king, one who helped me learn my powers and supported me in many things I did. We sealed our marriage with a daughter, the joy of our lives. The only problem with the wh0le thing was that I couldn’t stop feeling like Esme was going to return and when she did, she would take everything I love, including Arc. Arc always waved it off, but the fear of the unknown never made me a completely happy woman.

“Place that right over there,” I instructed the men lifting the heavy chair. I was preparing for my daughter’s fourth birthday. “Hmm… No, move it over to that sβ‚±0t…”

“Oh come on!” Caleb and Drew exclaimed, Drew was the second in command who loved scratching his butt.

“Ida, I love you but if you make us move this thing one more time, I’ll kill you and then bury myself alive.” Drew threatened.

“But I am looking for the right sβ‚±0t…” I formed my hands into a circle and looked through it. “There! That sβ‚±0t is perfect! When she sits on it, it would make her look like a queen.”

“She is a queen!” They shouted exasperatedly.

“You can’t blame me for wanting my daughter’s fourth birthday to be spectacular. After her birthday, her powers would unlock and we can begin mother and daughter training. I can finally get some alone time with her, not always have you men hug her away.” I chided.

“Couldn’t you buy a chair that didn’t weigh the size of five f-cking pregnant elephants? Look at my arms shaking.” Caleb gro-ned, his arms were indeed trembling.

“Be a man dude, lift.” I ordered playfully. They muttered to themselves and then hitched up the chair.

“God I’m going to shit on myself,” Drew cried, “don’t let go Caleb!”

“I’m trying sc-mbag!” I allowed them carry it but then I saw another perfect sβ‚±0t.

“I change my mind, I want that pla…”

“You’ve got to be kidding me!”

“Holy crap!!!” Drew shrieked, Caleb dropped the chair, forgetting he was there. The weight of the chair pulled him down, causing him to let go of the chair which fell on his foot.

“Damnit Usman!” He scre-med, rolling on the ground while holding his broken foot.

“Sorry man, she made me drop it.” He said with a stifle laugh.

“Oh stop being a cry baby, you still have one foot,” Kisa said with an eye roll. Kisa was the only female other than Evangeline I kept as friend. She was a werefox, a red and white fox. I loved her foxy nature, she’s a born savage. “If you want, I could help you with the other…”

“Stay away from me you fish head!”

“Fish what?” She smirked, striding dangerously closer to him.

“Keep her away from me! Caleb!” Caleb stepped back with hands raised in surrender. “Traitor!”

“Call me a fish head again,” she said menacingly, eyeing his broken foot.

“No, I didn’t say anything… Idalia, help!”

“Kisa, leave the damn man alone, he broke his foot. I’m sure Emelia would do a good job when she finds out her mate broke his foot, again.” I smiled slyly, his wife can nag someone six feet under, and boy can she shout.

“Ida please, heal me so she won’t start, I just came back from the land of the dead yesterday, and I am still under starvation. If she finds out, my punishment would be doubled, please don’t let a man die of blue balls.” Drew cried.

“You’re such a baby,” Kisa scoffed and did what she was planning to do from the start, she got a hold of his broken foot and twisted it more. “Much better, huh?”

“I’ll kill you woman!” Drew scre-med.

“Oh me goddess! Who’s that cute little puppy!” Kisa squealed. I turned around just as a small white puppy jumped into my arms. She barked and licked my face, wagging her blue tail happily.

“Judith?” I asked quizzically, Judith is the name of my daughter, Sage is her middle name. “You shifted already?”

She kept backing, licking every sβ‚±0t she could get. Arc laughed as he joined us, he took her out to ride on his back, and now this? “What happened? How the hell did she shift so soon?!”

“She shifted late, my first shift was when I was two,” he ruffled her head, “she’s so adorable.”

“Let me have em!” Kisa shrieked and rushed her out of my arms. “Look at you my little darling, so adorable…”

“Drew, what are you doing on the ground?”

Drew narrowed his eyes at me, I didn’t do anything. I grinned innocently, forming a nimbus above my head as I twinkled my eyes. “Ida, what did you do?”

“I simply told your lazy men to move a chair and they were whining, the chair broke his foot because Caleb dropped it.”

“That’s because you couldn’t make up your mind on where to place it!” Caleb shouted defensively.

“Oh come on guys, it can’t be that…” Arc grunted as he tried to lift it. “Wow, who made this thing?”

“I did,” I said proudly, invisibly adding more pressure to the chair. Arc could lift it, but I wasn’t going to make it easy. “It suits Judith’s dream chair, doesn’t it?”

“Woman, stop adding more weight,” he scolded. I giggled and let the chair go. Like the all powerful genius he was, he lifted the chair up effortlessly. “See guys?”

“Don’t compare us.” Caleb muttered.

“Hello! Wolf in pain here!”

“Judith, attack!” Kisa shouted, pointing at Drew. Judith’s demon dog jumped at Caleb instead, sending her teeth right to his ass. Caleb scre-med in pain and tried pulling her off but her teeth only sank deeper.

“That’s it baby, bite down h-rder.” I cheered as Kisa and I laughed.

“Get her off me!”

“Judith, chew his butt off,” Drew huffed, “avenge me!”

“Okay, that’s enough now,” Arc grabbed her and tried pulling her away, “Judith let go!”

“Judith clam down!” I shouted laughingly. Arc narrowed his eyes to me. “What? It’s funny.”

“Judith, let go of Uncle Caleb’s behind or your birthday party will be cancelled,” Arc threatened. Judith whimpered and let him pull her, but not without ripping off Caleb’s p-nts.

I fell on the ground with Kisa, laughing and pointing at Caleb’s bleeding unclad ass. Judith ran into my arms, wagging her tail as she barked proudly. “Oh baby, I’m so proud of you,” I cooed, squeezing her cheeks, “you gave naughty Uncle Caleb a good lesson, didn’t you love?”

“Ida, you are spoiling her, she shouldn’t attack people.”

“It’s fun to.” Kisa and I laughed.

“I should separate you from Kisa, this devil isn’t good for you.”

“Yeah, yeah,” I snapped my fingers, closing up crying Caleb’s wounds and healing Drew. “There, fixed, wasn’t that easy?”

“Arf! Arf!”

“I think Judith wants to shift back, Arc?”

“Come here baby, let’s go practice shifting back and then you can play with Auntie Eva.”

“Arf!”

Kisa and I still had some laugh in us, “Kisa, you are evil, the reason you will never find a mate.” Caleb snarled.

“Didn’t your mate reject you?” Kisa asked smirkingly. Caleb’s face fell. Drew and I made use of the moment and laughed. Caleb should have known better than talking back at her, she’s a born savager.

After setting the party where Caleb and Kisa fought through it, I returned to the house. Eva was reading Judith a story while Arc miserably tried to make something with her building blocks.

“…and then the doorman announced his name as King Jaden of Lumeria. Linda was shocked, she knew he was hiding something but a king? She was so startled she dropped her glass of wine. The glass spilled it content allover her dress, her beautiful dress was ruined…”

“Daddy, I said help me build a castle, not a prison.” Judith scolded.

“I’m trying baby, I’m trying, this is your mother’s job.”

“Sire, I think the lasagna is burn…”

“Oh crap!” He fled to the kitchen.

“Now where were we?” Eva asked as she turned the page of the book. “Linda was greatly embarrassed, everyone turned their attention to the clumsy princess. She was at the edge, tears welled up in her eyes as the other princesses and ladies tittered, and then that look in her parents’ eyes.”

“Poor Linda, she must have felt stupid.” Judith said sadly.

“She did, and that’s why she hurried out of the ballroom, and the moment she was out of sight, she tore the skirt of the dress off and ran away…”

“No way!”

“Schnookums! Please help me!” Arc shouted from the kitchen. Great king, wonderful husband, terrible cook.

“Don’t worry Eva, I’ll handle it,” I laughed. I ruffled Judith’s hair as I walked pass, she was more interested in her story.

“Well? Go on! What happened to Linda next?”

“King Jaden was a bit worried so he went out to find her but only saw her dress, that caused him to cry out in alert. Before anyone could think, the search parties and the king himself were all looking for the damsel.”

“Where did Linda run to?”

“The only place she knew she belonged, the enchanted forest. At least there, no one would judge her for being different or having the ability to talk to animals and make flowers bloom…”

I walked into the kitchen. “My good lord! Arc!”

“I can’t put it out!” He panicked. I hurried to the pots which were on fire. How he was able to set the pots, kitchen towels and lasagna on fire is what I will never know. I blew on them, magically snuffing out the flames. “Thanks darling, that was close.”

“Haven’t I warned you to stay away from my kitchen?!”

“Judith insisted I make her lasagna, you weren’t here so I thought “why not? It wouldn’t kill anybody” but I guess it almost did.” He said with a sheepish grin and flushed cheeks.

“Eva could have done the cooking, don’t touch my utensils again.” I warned, pointing a dirty towel at him.

“Sugar was busy, Judith wouldn’t let her out of her sight.”

“Just go out there and finish the building blocks, I’ll handle dinner.” I huffed. Arc went to the door, looked into the living room and then locked the door.

“Ida, let’s have fun now she’s distracted,” he whispered, coming closer to me, “and don’t tell me later, Judith will always interrupt us at night. I’m a ho-ny mess and I need to f-ck you before I run mad, two months is not a joke.”

Judith was annoying in that area, she would always interrupt us. For months she had been sleeping in our room, refusing to share me with her father. Like literally, she kicked him out of our room and took over.

“But I have to make lasagna, my daughter is hungry and…”

“Busy, distracted, come on…” He spun me around and pushed me on the kitchen counter.

“Arc, that small witch would come looking for us soon, she always do when we are together for more than ten minutes.” I chuckled.

“Then I’ll be fast, she’s busy.” He said under his breath as he hurriedly pulled my black denim jeans and underwear down. I listened to the story Eva was telling her.

“The king was devastated, five months and she hadn’t been found, it made him very miserable and lonely…”

“Where’s daddy?”

“Shh, I’m still telling my story…”

“Better be fast, I need to cook,” I whispered as I looked at him remove his belt. He successfully slipped his p-nts down and then held my cheeks up. “What? No tease?” I asked teasingly.

“Maybe if you finally let me take that vacation with you, we’ll have enough time for forepl-y and all the pleasure to follow, not have to get quickies every two months. I swear, I will sell that daughter of mine when I snap.”

“Then she’ll return and make salt out of your brain,” I laughed. I guess Kisa wasn’t good for the two of us, “whoa…” I breathe when he finally pushed into me, it felt like it had been years since we last had s€×. Having a clinging daughter wasn’t really good for our s€× life.

“I’ve miss this,” he mo-ned, diving his face into my neck. I pushed my head back and held his hair, breathing softly.

“Don’t mo-n too loud or she’ll hear,” I whispered. He hummed as a reply. He slowly stared moving, making me double over the counter. My legs jiggled as the pleasure rattled me. Each stroke gave way to my fluid and w-t the earlier dryness.

I told him not to be so loud but I was the one who threw that command out of the window. He plunged in deeper and h-rder, raising my body up to gain deeper entrance. And before our little joy could intrude, we were done.

“Mommy! Daddy! What are you two doing in there and why is this door locked!” She demanded. I chuckled as I pulled my p-nts back on. “Mommy open this door right now! I told you daddy, five feet apart from my mother! Open this door!” She scre-med, hammering on the door.

“Should we answer her?” Arc asked grinningly.

“Hmm,” I smirked and jumped on him, wrapping my legs around his wa-ist, “she can wait for a little while longer.”

“That’s exactly what I wanted to hear.” I claimed his l-ips with mine, hoping she would give us some few minutes before she start crying.

“I am not okay! Daddy I can see you, step away from my mother! Auntie Eva open the door!” She cried. Arc droped me on the kitchen island as he deepen the k-ss, sliding his hands into my trousers.

A loud explosion from the door made us jump, the door was blasted out of it hinges. My little Judith stood there with white eyes, her powers had activated.

“Step away from the woman mister,” a powerful force tore us apart, pushing Arc to the other side of the kitchen. She squealed and ran to me, I carried her up with a smile, “mommy, did you see that? I blew door up to rescue you.”

“Baby, I wasn’t in danger, daddy was just…”

“S-cking the life out of you, yeah I saw him.” She narrowed her eyes at her father. Arc rolled his eyes and muttered to himself.

“He wasn’t s-cking the life out of me, your father loves me, right daddy?”

“I love you, but not her.” He glared at Judith. She stuck her tongue out and held my neck tighter.

“Well s-ck it up mister, I won’t let you harm my mommy, not ever.”

“Okay, how would you like to visit Hunter after your birthday?” I asked laughingly, Hunter was Emy’s and Chlorie’s son, the only person that can pull Judith away from me.

She squealed in excitement, “really?! Can I really see Hunter again?!”

“Yes darling, let’s get rid of her.” Arc said with the same excitement.

“My mommy is coming with me, don’t even think about it. Mommy, can I bring Princess Mimi? I want to show Hunter my new doll.” Her eyes sparkled as she spoke, she looked exactly like Victoria. I pinched her nose, causing her to giggle.

“You can pack your entire room if it pleases you, I’m sure Hunter would love to see your toys.”

“Will Jesse be there?” She asked with a scowl. Jesse was a female friend of Hunter, six years old like him. “I don’t like her, she’s always trying to make Hunter play with her and her alone, can I bite her like I bit Uncle Qualeb?”

“Caleb,” I corrected, “and no, don’t bite her because she’s human. Now let’s get you ready for bed, tomorrow is a big day for you.” I jumped down from the counter, giving annoyed Arc apologetic look.

“Hey daddy!” Judith called as I carried her out. “Mommy loves me more than you.” She sang tauntingly.

“Hey Judith!” Arc called after her, “Hunter loves Jesse more than you.” He sang back. Judith burst into tears.

“Arc!”

It took me three hours to comfort Judith, Arc can be so immature when it comes to her. Except for when he takes her out to ride on his back, they spend the rest time bickering and fighting over who would be with me, she always wins. Judith held me tight, resting her head on my stomach. I was singing for her, combing her beautiful white hair with my fingers.

“To where the river flows
That’s where you’ll find
The happy native men
Hunting in glows
And the horses gallop
Can you see the maidens dance?
That is the Red village
Of Koju peak.”

“Mommy?” Judith called softly.

“Yes baby girl?”

“Where do babies come from?”

“Heaven, babies come from heaven,” I smiled.

“But how does a baby come from heaven and enters the mommy’s stomach? Uncle Qualeb said daddy f-cks mommy and baby comes.”

“What the hell!” I exclaimed. Caleb!

“What does that mean mommy?” She raised her curious eyes to me, damn that bastard.

“It means Uncle Caleb’s head is broken and his brain isn’t working well, ignore that fool and chew him h-rder next time.” I said with a plastic smile.

“Oh, then how did you get me?”

“Er…well…you see… Shit! I used my powers to drag you from heaven,” I lied, Arc usually has the awkward questions covered. “Why are you asking?”

“Because I want a little brother, so I can knock his head and boss him around like Cindy bosses her brother.”

I threw my head back and laughed, “is that all?”

“If I have a brother, daddy will take him and leave you alone for me. I want to enjoy my time with you mommy, now you are still here.”

“Here you go again baby, stop talking as if I am dying, I won’t die.” I assured her. She giggled and returned her head to my stomach.

“I know, but you’ll need another baby mommy, you will never know what will happen…” She trailed off. It was silence for a while, “bad things are going to happen mommy, bad things…”

Whispers!

The whispers filled my ears, Vries and scre-ms. My baby was speaking but I couldn’t hear a thing.

Idalia! Idalia!

Save Em…!

Idalia!

…. Is back…

“Mommy?” I snapped out of it, flustered and confuse. “Are you alright?”

“Yeah, I’m fine baby,” I k-ssed the top of her head, “I’m just fine.”

Under the bright full moon, a figure stood at the edge of a mountain’s cliff, hair flying in accordance to the wind. The moonlight shone down on her as she smiled at the sky; a devious smile. Her grey eyes opened and looked down to the town below, so many souls to be rid of, so many powers to gain.

“The time has come Idalia, are you ready for me?” She chuckled and bit her index finger. “You better be, because I am ready for you, very, very ready. But first, it’s time to take care of my ex and his pretty little family. Look out world, Esme is back!”

Her laughter danced into the night, into the unsuspecting world.

To be continued.

Esme is back and her target is Emy, hmmm. πŸ€”
