Kyla POV

I gently stood up from my bed and walk to the bathroom,

I stare at myself in the mirror my eye color has changed to grey

My hair is now longer than before

I don’t know what’s happening to me after i did my 18 years birthday

Have been expressing different changes, i don’t even understand what’s happening to me

I took a cold bath, i stepped out of the bathroom and i saw my mother in my room

Hey mom;i said
How are you doing; my mom said

Fine mom ;i said
She nodded her head

Are you through packing your things;she said

Not yet mom am almost done with it; i said

She walked out of my room, i took a deep breath and fell on my pillow

I can’t believe this is really happening to my family, i cried when i heard that my dad has been sacked from work

Because of a missing money he knows nothing about,

We leaved in the company house but since my dad got fired we have to move out from the house

I slowly packed my things in,side my suitcase with tears in my eyes
We have been staying in this house since i was a child

So leaving this house is like leaving myself behind cause this house own so much memories

Sorry that have not introduced myself

My name is kyla the only child of my parents, am 18 years old Beautiful with a great body

I took my suitcase down stairs i saw my dad arranging things in a truck

Good morning dad; i said smiling
How are you my beautiful angel;he said smiling

Am fine dad ;i said giving him my suitcase i walk back into the house

I brought out all my suitcase and my dad arranged it,

Few minutes later we were done packing, we all faced the house

Dad am going to miss this house;i said in a sad tone

Me too ;my mom and dad said it together and i laughed

We got into the car and drove off

We are moving California, i know things will change for me

Am gonna start a new school, i don’t even know if anyone would love to be my friend

I hate going to a new school;i said without knowing i voiced it out

Honey is going to be okay; my mom assured me

I breath in and out trying to take all the air around me

The car came to an halt i looked through the window to see a beautiful house

We all came down from the car
I just stand still starring at the house

Don’t worry honey i promise we are gonna make a better memories in this house; my dad said touching my shoulders

Okay let’s try and make memories my mom shouted and ran in,side the house

Me and my dad laughed at her
We packed the suitcase in,side the house

Minutes later we were done arranging the house

I sat on my bed in my room playing game with my phone when my mom walk in

Kyla she called looking at me
Yes mom is anything the matter;i said keeping my phone aside

She sat beside me and smiled
Your eyes color has changed to blue;she said

I ran to the mirror to see for myself and it was true my eye has turned to dark blue

Mom was really happening to me, am i ill or what i don’t understand any of this that’s going on with me; i said

Kyla i don’t know either but something tells me that you’re a special child; she said

Am i really special, i said to myself
I sat beside my mom a tears fell from my eyes

Why her you crying kyla; she said

Mom am scared what if am a monster or a vampire, mom am really scared;i said crying

Don’t be scared honey with time you’re gonna know who you truly are;she said cleaning my eyes

I sniff, this is really frustrating i cleaned my eyes and smiled at her

I already enrolled you in a school and this is your school uniform, and admission form ; she said giving me a big box

I kept the box aside without checking it

Ain’t you going to try it on if it looks good on you; my mom said smiling

There’s no need for that mom ; i said laying down on my mother

Okay honey if you say so, am going to the kitchen to prepare dinner would you like to tag along; she said

No mom, i would love to take a nap; i said and she left my room without saying anything

I don’t want to think about the changes have being experiencing, cause is really frustrating

So i slept off like a baby

Kyla kyla ; i heard my name so i instantly opened my eyes i saw my mom

Dinner is severed ; she said and walk at

I stood up from the bed and walk out of my room to the dinning room

My mom and dad has started eating i sat down and start eating

We all ate in silence, is a custom in our home when eating no one would say a word until you are done with the food

I was through with mine so i stood up

Good night mom, dad; i said
Good night sweetie;they said

Don’t forget to wake up early, you know you’re going to school; my mom said

I know mom i said and went to my room, i opened the box that my uniform is to see a beautiful
grey suit, with white long sleeve , short grey skirt, long white socks and a black sneakers

Wow i find myself admiring the uniform, i already love the school i just can’t wait to go to school tomorrow, i smiled

I picked the admission form and start reading it

The school name is
WESTON HIGH SCHOOL

I went to the bathroom took my bath and brushed my teeth

I put on my pajamas and fell in my pillow and slept off

I stood up from my bed and ran to the bathroom i took my toothbrush put a toothpaste and start brushing my teeth with smiles in my face

I looked at myself in the mirror there was no changes my eye color was still blue, i looked at my hair is now longer than yesterday, now my hair is under my butt

I took my bath and put on my uniform, i brushed my hair

I looked at myself in the mirror and a wow escape from my l-ips

My hair and my school skirt is in same length, i didn’t bother putting on makeup cause am already beautiful

I took my school bag put the admission form in,side my bag and walk out of my room to the dinning room

Is this my daughter, she looks so beautiful my dad said hugging me

I blush, Good morning dad; i said
Good morning my princess

You look beautiful my child; my mom said touching my cheek and a tears dropped from her eyes

She instantly wipe it off and smiled at me

We ate breakfast and my dad drove me to school

The school is so beautiful and big, it was paint with white colors

Student was moving to and fro, i just stood thinking of whom to take me to the principal office

Hey please can you show me the way to the principal office; i said to a girl i saw at the hallway

She stare at me and smiled,
You’re beautiful;she said

Thank you; i said smiling

I will take you there because you’re beautiful she said and hold my hand

We passed through three hallway before we got to the principal office

This is the office; she said
Thank you; i said

See you around; she said and left

I knocked on the door,
Come in ;i heard a man voice

I opened the door and walk in
Good day sir;i said
Good day to you too beautiful lady;he said

You must be the transfer student, kyla Ashton; he said

Yes sir;i said smiling

Here have this, they’re your books your timetable and map ; he said

Thank you sir; i said collecting the things from him, i walk out from the office

I checked the timetable and i was having maths my best subject

I followed the map i was coming down from the stairs when i missed a step i fell down, but am not feeling any pain

I looked at myself that was when i knew that i was hanging on the air
Instead of me laying on the floor

I stood up and my legs was not touching the floor, is like am floating
I dragged myself down and my legs touch the floor, i breathe a sigh of relief

I turn my back about to walk away that was when i noticed a boy looking at me

How did you do that, you were floating on the air ; he said

I swallowed my saliva
