Lex enters the house and saw his mother in the living room

He had a smile on his face but the smile vanished immediately his eyes caught his mother skin, her cheeks are red and she had traces of dried tears on her eyes

He didn’t need anyone to tell him his monster of a father was on it again

He walked to her and she looked up at him

She tried to put up her best smile to concede everything Lex isn’t someone to fooled easily

“Dad beat you up again?” He said

“Son” Carolina called

“Mum why do; you always allow that bastard to hit you ?”

“He is still your father, don’t call him a bastard” Carolina said

“The only thing I regret in this life is him being my father, mum why can’t you divorce him not like he is of any use to you, he drinks and squander money anyhow and when he is low on cash he will come to you for money, what kind of a man is that” Lex yelled

“I love him” Carolina said

” I know the said love is blind but not for someone to be stupid when in love…”

Lex didn’t completed his statement when Carolina slapped him but she regretted slapping him immediately.

Few minutes later he came downstairs dressed in another cloth

Carolina tried to apologize to him but he ignored her and went out

“He is ignoring me now, I am a bad mother” Carolina said as hot tears paid her a visit.

Henry had his bath and came out drying his hair

He went to his closet after creaming up, he took a jogger and slip in, he wore blue a t-shirt and brushed his hair

” Boring, that jerk Daniel is back to his arrogant and pompous behavior just because he is more brilliant”

” Then study hard and take his position* Henry said

“Not everyone is born to be like you ” Steve said

” Just ignore him, so what is popping?”

” We are going for a night party soon” Remedy said

” Henry” Joyce called downstairs

” Guys I need to go my mum is calling me”

He opened the door and went out

” Mum” Henry called as he got downstairs

” You finally decided to come back, hope you didn’t cause trouble at school?” Joyce asked

” Did you eat?”

” I already ate at my friend house” Henry replied

” Okay, I need to be in my room, my skin itch”

” Henry what are you doing?” Joyce giggled

“Then forgive your worthless mum” Carolina said

“Can you just stop, who told you that you’re worthless” He said and pulled her into a hug

Three cars drove into the school at the same time, the car doors opened and the three hottest guys in the school came out, talking about the hottest guys Blake, Lex and Henry

The girls couldn’t stop staring and throwing comments at them

Henry pouted his lips and the girls went more crazier

“No, I already promised her that I will do it for free, if she then like my work she will pay for the next one” Brandon said

Brandon called his account number and she did a transfer to him

” Alert seen, thank you ” Brandon bowed and left

Summer walked there with Tiffany and Hailey

She is not a regular class attender, it’s so suprising how she is the most brilliant student in the school despite her playgirl lifestyle she is still the best in academics

“I don’t want to see that bastard face knowing he is in the same class with me” Summer said

“So you want to skip class cos of him?” Hailey asked

“Not really but I might do something drastic if I see him”

“What did your dad said?” Tiffany asked

” We have Argumentative essay and descriptive essay” Summer said, she glared at Henry again before sitting down

“Expository and narrative essay” Henry said

“So you are not only a comrade in violence you are intelligent?” Lex asked

“That’s Henry K for you” He winked

“Can anyone explain the types of essay writing?”

No response came, Summer stood up and Henry stood at the same time

“Can you stop standing up the same time with me” Summer said

“If my standing has affect your brain, you can get it treated” Henry said

” No fights, just explain the two”

” Argumentative essay is the genre of writing that requires the student to investigate a topic, collect, generate and establish a position on the topic in a concise manner while descriptive essay is the genre that asks the student to describe something, object, person, place, emotion, situation.” Summer replied

” Expository essay is the type of academic writing where you investigate the topic by evaluating the evidence and expounding the idea to describe, explain, and provide the information to the reader while narrative essay is an essay that include a story about a personal experience told from the author’s perspective ” Henry said

” God, you two are so brilliant, a round of applause for them”

The students jammed their hands together

Henry sat with Blake and Lex as they ate

Many eyes are on them

“So she is the best student in the school?” Henry asked

” Why will your father leave your mum if she is not worthless?” Austin asked

Anger cooked up in Lex and he lost it, he threw a punch at Austin but he bent and the punch flew to Henry face.
