Seeing Rose in front of my house made me realize she wanted something or must have heard something.. I just hoped whatever it was I hoped it would be good.
As the three of us made our way into my house, I couldn’t help but think over what Riley’s mom said.. I mean I do love Riley and all but I never thought about my future with me.. We say we’d run away together and start a life, but I never gave more serious thought about it.. I wonder how our lives would be if we were ever to get married.
As we got into my living room, Riley and I sat closely while Rose sat in the next couch facing us… She stared at us for a while before she began to talk.

Rose ➡ Recently, I’ve been on the hunt, taking down this miscreants and putting them in their rightful place in hell but that didn’t seem to stop them, despite being hunted, this fools continue their work… I know their locations but its not enough… We need to know where that demon b*tch is hiding.

Christen ➡ So how do we find her then?

Rose ➡ The answer is sitting right next to you putting his hands around your wa-ist.

Christen ➡ Wait.. You mean Riley?

Riley ➡ Me?

Riley ➡ I say I can handle this okay.. So what’s the plan?

Rose ➡ Simple, infiltrate and get information… If you hear or find anything… Report it back to Christen or Oliver. Here take this coin… If you want to get into the guild.. Just show them that coin and they’ll let you pass.. No body will touch you.

After that Rose left the house… I couldn’t believe Riley agreed to Rose’s plan.. It’s ridiculous… After that, I confronted Riley asking him why he agreed to my sister’s plan.

Christen ➡ Really? Riley.. How could you? Why did you accept Rose’s proposal… Who do you think you are, some kind of invincible man.. If the cult realize that you’re a rat, they will kill you..

Riley ➡ Relax Christen… I can handle it..

Christen ➡ Oh really? You can handle it huh? Well let’s see you handle this…. GET OUT!

Riley ➡ Come on Christen…

Riley was surprised by my outburst.. Without wasting any time, He quietly stood up and made his way towards my door, I followed him steadily all that way to the door and as he went out, I shut the door behind his back.. After that, I went back to my bedroom and laid on my bed.. As I laid on my bed fuming in Anger, Solomon appeared before me.

Solomon ➡ Christen.
.

Christen ➡ WHAT!?
.

Solomon ➡ Don’t cool off your anger on me, you spell casting b*tch?… After all I’m not the one who made you angry.

Christen ➡ (sighs) I’m sorry, Solomon.. You’re right I shouldn’t have been rude to you.

Solomon ➡ So you’re angry because Riley decided to go along with your sister’s plan.

Christen ➡ Can you believe it? He actually went ahead and take a risk like that.. What if something happens to him?..

Solomon ➡ Riley can handle it.. Besides.. He’s just going to infiltrate nothing else..

Christen ➡ I don’t know Solomon… This is just too dangerous.. I can’t bear to watch something happen to him….

Solomon ➡ If it will ease your mind.. Why don’t you give him the necklace 📿, I’ll be able to guide him..

Christen ➡ Thanks Solomon.. I will do just that tomorrow.

I was sure glad Solomon bought that up.. Since Riley had made a bond with it, it will protect him… So after a while, I slept off.

The next morning, I got ready for work, after taking my breakfast and dressing up, I left the house and drove to work…
As I arrived there, I parked my and went straight to Riley’s office, as I got in, He was in the middle taking his coffee ☕️, I went towards his table and dropped the necklace, after that, I left the place without uttering a word to him.
A while later, I was in the lecture hall tutoring a class, as I was doing that, The students started to make noise, among those students distracting the class was Cassandra.
Lecturing this heap of crowd was tiring but to endure their noises was way too much, so I decided to ask what was going on.

Christen ➡ Ahem! Class what’s going on? Why are you all making noise?

Cassandra ➡ Sorry ma.. We were just discussing about the orientation program for girls.

Christen ➡ Really? Then I hope you all won’t mind if I gave you a surprise test… Tear out a shit of paper.

All the students gro-ned as they heard that, some mumbled, some cursed and some said their bullshit… Cassandra who was trying to be a hero in the eyes of her colleagues showed her displeasure.

Cassandra ➡ But ma.. This is not fair.. We don’t deserve this… You can’t do this.
.

Christen ➡ Of course I can, i’m the lecturer, now sit down, before I pinned you with a carry over.

Cassandra frowned and took her sit but not before she quietly called me a *bitch* under her breath, those next to her started laughing when she said that… No normal person could have heard what she said but I’m no normal person.. I’m a witch and I couldn’t let her get away with something like this. She needs to be dealt with.

Christen ➡ Cassandra… Stand up… What did you just say?

Cassandra ➡ I didn’t say anything.

Christen ➡ I heard you and the laughter your friends made wasn’t just like that.. I give you a last warning.. Tell me why you just said.

Immediately I said that some started murmuring, shortly after that, Mary the girl Riley and I saved from the cultists stood up and told me what she said..

After that some students confirmed it as well, Cassandra was shocked when she was ratted out.. She felt embarrassed and scared.

Christen ➡ Cassandra.. I’m sorry for you.. Get out of my class. I’ll be seeing you next semester together with your juniors.
..

Cassandra stood up grinding her teeth in anger, she took her bag and her notes and left the class… Before she went out, she made a statement that made me almost laugh.

Cassandra ➡ You’ll hear from my father.. I promise you… I’ll make you pay.

After that she left the class, I shook my head smiling at what she said.. This rich pompous folks think that money is power and that it can give them anything they wish for, they have no idea how wrong they are.
So an hour later after the lecture, I went back to my office to relax and have a nice quiet time alone… There’s nothing that I enjoy more than being left alone in solace.. In that moment just as I was basking in the moment, Esther came into my office, I was surprised to see her here.

Christen ➡ Esther… What are you doing here?

Esther ➡ So I can’t come and visit my best friend abi? How are you babe?

Christen ➡ I’m fine.. I just finished lecturing those insects.. Its a miracle that I tolerate their bullshit.

Esther ➡ Relax sorceress, don’t go and turn them into frogs (laughs)

Christen ➡ That’s would have been better (laughs).. So what’s up?

Esther ➡ Eh.. I’m good… I’m just bored so i decided to come and see you.. Anything gist?

Esther was shocked when I said that, she had to come closer to me to touch my head as If I was sick or something.

Esther ➡ So??? You and I know that’s not going to work.. No way.. Besides what gave the that idea that Riley would even marry you.

Christen ➡ A hunch.

Esther ➡ This girl is crazy o… A hunch.. Forget that.. Even if Riley was to marry you know.. The council won’t agree and let’s not forget your sister..

Christen ➡ Well, I don’t care.. If they don’t agree.. Riley and I will run away together..

Esther ➡ Christen,… This is crazy..

Christen ➡ Yeah.. I know..
.

Esther ➡ Please think this through before anything bad happens.

Christen ➡ Well, I’ve already thought about it and this is what I know want.

Esther left my office still shocked by what I said.. She must be thinking I’m crazy but I’m not.. I don’t see anything wrong with marrying a human especially if it’s Riley.. This is my life and my choice and nobody is going to tell me who I’m going to be with.
So later that day, I went home to relax and have a good time, After wearing my casual clothes, I sat on my couch and stuffed my table with lots goodies and began to watch cartoons… There was nothing more that I loved more than watching cartoons.. It always makes me have a good laugh and a good time… An hour later, I laid down on my couch with a stuffed belly staring into the ceiling.. I began to think of Riley wandering what he was doing now.. In that moment, I heard a knock on my door, I went and opened it to see who it was and to my surprise it was Riley.
Before I could say anything, He rushed in holding my wa-ist pulling me close to him and then plastered a k-ss on my l-ips.. I couldn’t resist cause I like the treatment I was getting but there was something different about him.. He’s behavior and manner was different and the way he was forcing himself on me.. It was different.. I wonder what came over him.. Riley and I laid on the couch still k-ssing lustfully.. While we were doing that, Someone entered the house and interrupted our moment, As the person spoke I got shocked when I heard his voice, as I looked up and saw him, I was stunned with shock to see another Riley at the front door.

Riley ➡ Christen.. What’s going on? And who’s that on top of you?

Women… They are sure unpredictable and quite problematic however how they may look like or appear to be like.
After Christen kicked me out of her house, I decided to give her some to cool off…The next morning, I decided to apologize to her after lecture hours… Some minutes after I had entered my office.. Christen came in and threw her necklace on the table without saying anything… I didn’t need anyone to tell me what the necklace was for.. Christen was worried about my safety and she had every right to and since she couldn’t persuade me from going, she decided to give me the best protection she could give.
Some minutes later, I called Chief Olushegun to give him my answer about his invitation, seconds later, he answered.

Olushegun ➡ Prof. Riley….. How are you? It’s been a while.
.

Riley ➡ Indeed it has… Sir.. Do you have a moment?
.

Olushegun ➡ Of course.. What is it?
.

Riley ➡ About your invitation to join this org-nization of yours… Is the offer still available?

Olushegun ➡ Of course.. So you’ve finally decided to join…

Riley ➡ Yes.. I’ve been bored lately, so I want to do something fun.

Before I could finish talking Rose disappeared.. After that, I turned on the car and drove away… Minutes later, I arrived at the place, after parking my car, I went in… Chief Olushegun was waiting for me in,side..

Olushegun ➡ Prof…. It’s nice to see you… I see you came early.

Riley ➡ Yes.. I had to..
.

Olushegun ➡ Okay then.. Shall we begin?

Riley ➡ Of course..

Olushegun ➡ Alright then.. Follow me.

The chief and I went to the storage room, as we got there, The chief pressed the light switch and then something shocking happen… The floor where we stood on, started descending to the ground.. I had no idea that a place like this existed.. It was like a secret elevator… After some minutes, We reached the underground level beneath the building, there was many corners and passage ways and on each one there were rom-n numbers. We entered the passage that had rom-n figure 5, at the end of the passage, there was a door facing us.
As we got to the door, the chief knocked at the door and one man came out, he had a white and black cloak over him.. The chief showed him his tattoo on his arm and hr was allowed to enter.. The man in the cloak asked me to follow him… We left the passage and entered another one, there was also another door like this passage like the previous one.. The cult member told me to enter the room facing me, where I’ll get further instructions.
As I entered the room, I saw a lot of women stark unclad and the best part is, they were all too s€×y and attractive… These women approached me and surrounded me, touching my body.. Then one of them asked me to strip.. I wa-isted no time in doing that, Seconds later, I was also unclad before them.. The ladies touched and ransacked their hands all over my body as if they were looking for something… Every part of my body was touched including my privates.
While these ones were searching my body others were searching my clothes.. One of them bought out Christen’s necklace 📿 staring at it with curiosity.. I prayed in my mind she wouldn’t put it on cause if she did.. Trouble will bloom.
Luckily for her, the stupid b*tch put back the necklace in,side my pocket, but I couldn’t say the same for the money in my wallet.
After the body search, I wore my clothes and the women led to another room, as I got into room, The wh0le place was dark… Then suddenly, a light shown on me, I blocked my eyes from the bright lights cause I couldn’t see properly, then the wh0le room was lit with light, as I looked around I saw lots of people covered in cloaks and judging from the looks of it.. These were the members of the cult and high above them, there were 7 people seated in black cloaks and I could tell they were the leaders.
After a while, one of men in the black cloaks stood up and addressed me.

Cult leader ➡ Mr. Riley Femi, a professor in Ibadan university… Welcome to the Cult of choas… We’re glad someone like you…. But before you become one of us.. We’d like to test you and see if you’re worthy… Are you ready?

Riley ➡ of course.
.

Shortly after that, One of the cult members brought a tray with three cups on it before me.. I looked in,side the cups and saw there was some blackish watery substance in it..

Cult leader ➡ Among three of this cups, two of them contains poison… If you really wish to join our org-nisation.. You’ll have to drink to show us your loyalty…. And that you’re willing to do anything to serve the interests of this org-nisation and if you don’t want to join, you’re free to leave but let me warn you, there are men outside with guns ready to open fire at you.. If you survive them, you’ll be allowed to go free, no one will disturb.. So which one is it?

I stood still thinking about this idiot said.. 2 out of these 3 cups contains poison and if I try to leave here, my body will be filled with bullets.. Damn! Christen warned me but I didn’t listen but anyways.. Since I’m here I’m just going to have to go through with it.. After a while, I took one of the cups and drank it.. The cult members watched as I drank it all in an instant.. Shortly after that, I began to feel dizzy and before long, I fell on the ground and passed out…
Moments later, I woke up and found myself on a nice warm bed as I sat up, I looked into a mirror plastered on the wall and saw a tattoo of the COC on my chest.. I surprise to see it there cause I don’t remember allowing myself to get a tattoo, so after that, I wore my shirt and suit and left the room, as I came out, I saw Chief Olushegun with some of the cult members…

Riley ➡ Chief??
.

Olushegun ➡Ah.. Prof. Riley.. I see you’re awake.. How do you feel?
.

Riley ➡ I feel a bit weird.. The drinks.. The poison..
.

Olushegun ➡ (laughs) No.. It was all a fluke.. The only thing in,side them was sleeping pills.. I admired your boldness.. Everyone was hoping you’d leave..

Riley ➡ And what’s with the tattoo on my chest?
.

Olushegun ➡ You’re now a member.. Welcome to the org-nization… You can go home now and rest.. I’ll get back at you to tell you when you’ll be fully sworn in as a bona fide member.. But remember don’t tell this to anyone.

Riley ➡ Sure.. I know… Okay then.. I’ll be going. Where’s the exit?

The chief led me outside the building, as we got outside, I was surprised to see the place was dark… I must have been out for so long.. After that, I got into my car and drive to Christen’s place to tell her about what happened to me.
Minutes later.. I arrived at her place and as I got in.. I saw her door slightly open.. As I stepped into her house, I saw her k-ssing someone and the shocking thing was, The person she was k-ssing looked exactly like me… I couldn’t believe what I saw.. Christen later saw me and was shocked to see me..

Riley ➡ Christen.. What’s going on? And who’s that on top of you?
.

Christen ➡ Riley??? That….. Hold on.. Who are you?
.

Riley ➡ I’m the real Riley.
.

Fake Riley ➡ Don’t mind him Christen… I’m the real Riley… That one is a fake..

Christen ➡ Okay… That’s enough… I’m going to find out one way or the other…

Christen pushed the other me off her and made some kind of rotation with her hands and before long, giant tree branches smashed into the house coiling both me and my other self so tightly and after that, Christen made giant centipedes appear from the branches and made them rush toward us.. I was scared 😱 shitless when I saw this.. This crazy b*tch is trying to kill us both.

Christen ➡ Either you both reveal where my Riley is or there will no Riley’s at all.. Your time is ticking.
