Episode Sixty Three
Two Korean men walked into the hospital, the doctor came out to meet them, they all walked to where the men were sitting down.

“Good morning” The Korean men greeted.

“Good morning” They all answered.

“We will commence the operation now, so please put you mind at rest and hope for good, and also you could talk to him about what you are to do” One of the Korean doctor said.

“OK” George said and the doctors nodded, the doctors left the men. After few minutes, Veronica, Jimi, the kids, Belle, Piper and Gabe entered into the hospital.

“Ademi!!!” Veronica called, Michael looked up to see them, he stood up and went to hug his mother, while the rest went to greet each other.

“Mom, I hope she makes it out alive” Michael said almost in a whisper “She will, Becca is a worrior” Veronica said hugging her son tightly, they both disengaged after she k-ssed him on his forehead. The kids ran to him.

“Is the thing that serious???” Ashley asked, Michael looked at George who mouthed ‘They wasn’t told to details’, Michael nodded, he squatted to their level.

“Yeah, a little bit, she needs our prayers and support” Michael answered.

“She will come out of this” Ashley said crying, Michael wiped her tears and gave her a small smile.

“We will pray for her” Adrian said too with tears in his eyes, Alexa just hugged her godfather, Jemima was been hugged by Veronica, Jemima also was not told in details about what was wrong with Becca.

“I was thinking everyone should go to pray in a church” Piper spoke up and the others hummed a ‘yes’.

“Buddy, are you gonna stay here??” George asked Micheal.

“Yeah, I will” He answered “Guys, I really thank you and appreciate you so much for this, thank you” He said with a shaky voice, Nick patted him. They all left the hospital, leaving only Michael and Nick.

“Don’t worry she will make it” Nick said.

“Hmmm” Michael hummed.

“This will be the first time, I will see you like this, this girl must really be special” Nick said trying to get Michael into a conversation so he will stop looking miserable.

“Yeah, she is” Michael said smiling sadly.

“Can you tell me how you guys met” Nick said, Michael’s sad expression deepen “Uhmm… You don’t have to” He quickly added.

“No it’s fine, I was going to see my mom…..” Michael began to narrate how he met Becca with smiles, laughters and sometimes he becomes sad. Nick enjoyed the conversation so much that he laughed at intervals, truly he hasn’t seen Michael engrossed as this before as he Michael continued talking.

They all walked to the church, they all knelt down at the front of the big alter area giving each group space, which was beautifully made and decorated.

“God please save Becca’s life, help her through” Ashley prayed silently with her hands clapped together.

“Help Becca through God, I promise to help as many people I can” Alexa prayed silently with her eyes tightly closed.

“Help Becca make it…. Amen” Adrian prayed.

“Becca is the only one I have, please save her for me” Jemima prayed crying.

“Please God, help her, let her get through this strong, alive and healthy” Veronica prayed.

“Amen” Jimi said, He and Veronica were both holding hands and kneeling together.

“Please do help Mr. Michael and let Becca make it” Piper prayed.

“Amen” Both Belle and Daniel said, the three were kneeling together holding hands. When they were through, they prayed together and after they left. Belle, Piper and Daniel headed home, the kids, Jemima and Gabe went home too, George headed to his office, While Veronica and Jimi headed to the office each promising to check on Michael and also call him.

Gabe came down from her car, she had left the house with the kids’ permission. She entered into the building that belongs to the agency, she walked straight to her former office, she opens the door and her junior colleagues stared at her in surprise, Stella who had her face in a computer, she looked up and saw Gabe, she jumped up and went to hug her.

“Captain Cutie!!!!!” Stella scre-med loudly that Gabe had to block her ears.

“Jeez!!! Almost blocking my ears” Gabe said laughing.

“I’ave missed you” Stella said as she and Gabe walked to Stella desk after greeting the others, Gabe sat on the chair while Stella on the desk.

“Same here but I have been busy lately” Gabe said smiling, Stella looked at her and gave her a knowing smile “What??!!” Gabe asked smiling even more.

“Or you have been busy with Mr. George.. Mmmm” Stella said, Gabe laughed “Am so happy for you Sis” Stella said.

“Same here” Gabe answered, the two kept on talking, laughing and gisting each other, Stella was more than happy to see Gaberialle smile and laugh as she is with her, this gave her satisfaction.

“Wheels, Williams wanna speak with you??” Nick said turning to Michael who was sitting as a rejected soul, he nodded in the positive, Nick took the phone and gave it to Michael, it was a video call.

“Oh my gosh!!!! You don’t look good at all, am so sorry about all these happenings” Williams said, Nick, Belle and Daniel had updated him. Michael only nodded “Happy birthday too, I was so busy I could wish you early, Michael just calm down and be in the positive, she will survive and make it through just chill OK” He said smiling.

“Thanks boss” Michael said smiling.

“You are super welcomed and when she is done with the surgery and she is fine, I need to see her, jeez!!! I need to see the girl that you are so smitten with, like seriously” Williams said chuckling.

“You will” Michael assured.

“I will call you back later” Williams said, Nick waved at Williams, who rolled his eyes and he later ended the call.

“She will be alright” Nick said patting Michael’s shoulder. Michael just gave a small smile, all his heart, soul and mind were all fixed on Becca getting out alive.

“Am so sorry we lost her” The doctor said sadly, Michael’s legs gave way, he fell, he shouted and cried.

“Becca!!!!! No don’t leave me, please don’t” Michael cried.

“Boyfriend!!! Wheels!!!!! Michael!!!” Nick tried to wake Michael who was shaking his wh0le body as if they were on fire, he also had tear crawling down his face “Wheels!!! Wake up, it’s just a dream” Nick said as Michael opened his eyes slowly and stood up immediately, Michael had fallen asleep on the bench, it was afternoon already and they were not out yet.

“How is she????” Michael asked immediately.

“They are yet to come out” Nick answered and Michael released the breathe he never knew he was holding, Nick sat down, he was holding a nylon bag.

“I got this for you, you haven’t had food since and don’t you tell me you ain’t hungry cause am gonna shove them down your throat” Nick said with a smiling face but was very serious. Michael signed and nodded, he began to eat.

“They all send their greetings, they were worried you weren’t with you phone, but I told them you gave it to me cause you don’t wanna be stressed out” Nick said earning a nod from Michael.

“Join me” Michael said, Nick nodded.

“With pleasure, Nigeria food are great” Nick said smiling as he joined Michael in eating.

Just then, the three doctors came out, very tired and exhausted, nurses also came out to them. Before Nick and Michael could rushed to them, a nurse came their way.

“How is she???” They both asked, Michael sighed and prepared himself for the worst, his fists were clenched.

“The doctors will attend to you” The nurse said, the two men nodded, just then the three doctors walked to them, they had cleaned up and were on their dresses.

“First let me say, Congratulations Mr. Michael, the surgery was successful” The first Korean doctor said, Michael’s eyes w¡den, he gasped excitingly and turned, he gave Nick a really good and tight hug.

“She made it!!!! My baby made it!!!” Michael said with so much joy that he forgot doctors were still talking to them.

“But…..” The doctor continued and stopped, both Michael and Nick’s excited faces disappeared.

“But what???” Nick asked with a bit of fear, as he looked at Michael whose expression is nothing close to good.

“Her health condition is very bad, we discovered so many not to good things which have really infected and affected her which made the surgery take hours, so she will have to use things prescribed for her and rest for many days inorder to gain herself” The doctor said and both Michael and Nick haven a relief.

“You scared me” Michael admitted, they all laughed.

“You can see him for the other information” The other doctor said smiling “We will take our leave now” He said.

“OK” Michael said, the doctors talked within themselves when they were through, the other Korean doctors shook hands with Michael with respect and honour, they just confirmed he is a Darlington “Thanks” Michael said smiling.

“Annyeong!!!” The two Korean doctors said smiling and bowing their head a bit, they walked off.

“Whatever that means!!!!” Nick said waving his hands at them.

“Means bye” Michael answered with smiles.

“Awwwnnn, someone got his smiles back” Nick teased “So doctor, anything we should know” He asked, the doctor nodded and they all began to walking to the doctor office.

After few minutes with talking with the doctor, they both came out and were walking towards a ward.

“Nick, why did the doctor say, we can’t see her??” Michael asked.

“Wheels chill, he didn’t say we can’t see her, he said we can’t enter just yet, we can see her through the glass door” Nick said laughing at Michael.

“Hmm… But why???”

“Well, they just finish performing surgery on her boyfriend”

“Oh, we should inform the rest about this” Michael said, both of them brought out their phone to inform the rest.

In a big hall that was beautified and decorated, it is filled with friends and family who were there to celebrate with both Jimi and Veronica who were getting married. Ashley and Adrian walking to the alter, Adrian was putting on a suit and holding a case, while Ashley is on a very beautiful, long and white gown, as she walked to the alter, she spread flowers around. The kids got to the alter and waited. Jimi entered looking dashing in his blue shinning suit. He also walked to the alter, just then Veronica entered, her gown is so beautiful, it was also blue, Alexa was at her back hold a big flower, they all had smiles, she also had a beautiful short white gown on. They both walked to the alter and the program began. Soon the two were joined together, people shouted for joy and celebrated them. All family, friends and well wishers were very happy and glad for them.

“Good night Mom, see you tomorrow” Michael said smiling, he and George had drove the new couple to Jimi’s big and wonderful home, while the gifts that were given to them was in the car Gabe was driving, she was right behind them. They all came down, Jimi went to Veronica and carried her in bridal style, the rest were laughing as they brought in somethings.

“Good night sons, take care of yourselves” Veronica said smiling, Jimi had placed on on the sofa “Take care of them for me” She said smiling to Gabe who smiled back.

“I will ma” Gabe said, Veronica motioned for a hug, which Gabe gladly went for.

“Thanks alot for making my mother smile and be happy again…. Thanks” Michael said moved to tears, as he was in a hug with Jimi.

“She deserves to be happy” Jimi said too, patting Michael’s back.

“Thanks alot Sir” Michael said to the surprise of Jimi, he never thought Michael will call him ‘Sir’, he smiled widely.

“Thanks to you too” Jimi said, they both disengaged, George came to hug him too.

“Guys, don’t you think we should get going before we begin to see and hear what we shouldnt” Michael teased and winked at his mother, who smiled turning her face sideways.

“Yeah, I do think so” George added smiling.

“Don’t wear out my Mom” Michael said and Veronica opened her mouth wide open with the others laughing “See you tomorrow Mom” As he and George went to hug her, she pinched both of them playfully before disengaging.

“Ouch!!!” Michael and George exclaimed with laughter, George, Michael and Gabe walked out of the house and drove off.

“So???” Jimi said pulling of his suit.

“So what???” Veronica asked smiling shyly.

“Let’s rest, we are exhausted right???” He said smiling sed-ctively at her, he walked towards her, carried her in bridal style to the room, he placed her on the bed, after pulling off his clothes to remain his briefs on, he slowly went to her, she had her head down, he raised her head, he looked at her and smiled “I love you” He said and began to unzip her dress, he pulled off her shoes. When they were done putting off her dress, she is in a very short, exposing and revealing dress that Jimi could not take his eyes off her, he touched her shoulder and she shivered out of fear, he stopped and looked at her “Should I wait???” He asked.

“No, No, Am sorry, I just…….” She stopped talking, she was scared caused of her past which she had told Jimi already.

“Don’t worry, I understand, I will make you forget him” Jimi said as he trailed his fingers on her shoulder, Veronica smiled shyly. He carried her and they both entered the bathroom.

After a week, George and Michael were seen in the kitchen, Michael is preparing breakfast while George was busy sneaking to eat the fried meats.

“Buddy, I can see you, stop eating them” Michael said rolling his eyes, he had an apron on and was behind the cooker while George was sitting on the table.

“Uhmmm….. It’s yummy” George said, Michael shot his hærd stares when he was about to take another one, he looked at Michael and smiled as he removed his hands from the basket.

“Nick and the rest, video called me yesterday, they asked about Becca and also said they miss us since they went back a week ago” Michael said.

“Your friends are good friends, although I haven’t been lucky with friends, is either they are trying to kill me or take my riches” George said sadly, that Michael turned and looked at him “And I have always been so stupid to believe them, but again you are also there to save me….. Michael am happy my family met and adopted you…. Am very happy and for all the stupid things, silly behaviors and attitudes have showed you….. Am so sorry” George said with tear in his eyes.

“It’s fine…. But just be careful OK” Michael said hugging him.

“Thanks” George said as Michael returned to cooking “As she woken up yet???” He asked.

“Nope, but each time I do check if she is breathing and the doctor that always comes here says she should be awake anytime soon”

“Ohhh yeah I remember, he also said we should cook a big meal cause, she will be dead hungry”

“Yeah”

“Am so happy you are very happy” George said as Michael smiled widly.

“I am happy for you too” Michael said smiling “She finished her medication already” He added.

“I kinda like how she was given food and medication, through passing it to her system directly” George said.

“Hmmm…… But it prevents one from eating normal food” Michael answered.

“True” George replied.

“Good Morning lover men!!!!” The voices of the kids sounded both the men laughed, as they all walked into the kitchen smiling, they all greeted each other, they have all freshen up.

“Oh my gosh!!!!!, I made it!!!!” Jemima scre-med happily looking at her phone which she brought out when it beeped, she covered her mouth immediately remembering Becca was still asleep.

“What is it dear???” George asked.

“The exam, I took, the one for a scholarsh¡p to study abroad, I passed” Jemima explained.

“Wow!!!!” They all exclaimed and praised her. After few minutes of talking and laughing, the food was ready and they all agreed to eat in the sitting room and also watched Ashley’s new cartoon. As they took their seats, Ashley spoke holding a bottle, that she placed on the floor.

“Before we watch the cartoon, let’s play spin the bottle” She said happily.

“What’s that???” Michael asked. Adrian hits his own head in playful frustration.

“You guys, don’t seem to know anything” Adrian said and the men laughed. Alexa explained to them.

“Am first” Ashley said as she gave every one a number, she spin and it faced Jemima “What’s your best colour???”

“Blue” Jemima answered, she Jemima skinned the bottle and he faced Alexa.

“Who would you choose between Roland and Nicholas???” Jemima asked, everyone winked at Alexa, who smiled shyly.

“Roland” She answered.

“Awwwnnn” Ashley said with her hand on her chest, they laughed again. Alexa spined the bottle, it faced Michael.

“Who is the queen of your heart, godfather???” She asked making Michael smiled but before he could answer, someone did.

“Guess, that should be queen Becca” The voice said, they all turned to see Becca who smiled at them. The kids scre-med for joy as Michael went to her, George beamed.
